Chapter 111

New York City,  A Day Earlier

Finn smiled, unlocking the condo's door, walking into the living room.

Trish and Skyler followed, Justin and Lance behind them, Colton between the two singers.

Finn had invited Justin and Lance both up to the condo first before they went back to Justin's place.

Colton had been happy, the young man enjoying their friendship on the flight to New York, the young man seated between them, his bond with Justin on full view for their friends.

Justin treated the young man as an equal, his smiling young face bringing a wider smile to his.

Finn smiled, dropping his suitcases at the door, stretching his arms, the others dropping their bags there as well, Justin carrying Colton's and setting it down.

"Home sweet home." Finn smiled, looking around the place, looking back at his friends, Skyler's arms going around him, the two kissing.

"We have several homes now, Finny." she said, Finn smiling into her blue eyes.

"And an angel lights up every one." he said, Justin fake crying.

"So beautiful is our romantic Finny. If you weren't taken, baby!" he said, blowing the Welshman a kiss.

"Then you'd have hairy love every night, stud." Finn smirked, grinning back at him.

Lance and Justin both laughed, Colton grinning.

"Awesome place, guys!" the young man said, his eyes scanning everywhere.

Finn smiled, sitting down on a couch, looking towards Trish.

"Roam around, Colt. But there's a surprise waiting in the kitchen for you, Trishy." he smiled, Trish staring at her friend.

"What are you on about, babe?" Skyler said, sitting down with her man, Justin and Lance sitting down on another couch, Trish staring at her friend.

"That's for Trish to find out." Finn smiled, the woman raising an eyebrow.

"Okay, Finny. What game are you onto now?"

Finn smiled, looking at her.

"The game of your happiness."

The young woman shrugged her shoulders, looking around at everyone, everyone watching her cross the living room, walking through the kitchen door.

Finn smirked, everyone surprised when they heard a loud scream, everyone rising from their seats

"Love echoes loudly from her soul. Luke and his amazing surprises." Finn laughed, Justin staring at him.

Their eyes met, the man smiling at Justin.

Out of the kitchen walked Andrew, the young lawyer's arms wrapped around his fiancée's slim form.

Trish's face was covered in tears, everyone smiling.

"Drew? When did you get here? And how?" Lance said, the lawyer smiling at him as everyone hugged him.

"I caught a direct flight from London. I've been here since early this morning. Lucas sent me on a re-routed journey. He told me I'd find my happiness in another city, beaming with love and life." he smiled, Trish's lips meeting his.

"I was going to call you tonight and tell you our plans had changed. I see my brother's love echoes far." she smiled, Drew kissing her again.

Finn smiled, Justin smiling at him.

"This seems set up, Trish. You were in on it, Finny?" he said, Trish staring at her friend.

"Lucas told me just before we left. He set it all up for his sister's happiness." he smiled, Trish smiling at her friend, remembering that Finn had made a call on his cell from their taxi when they'd left the airport.

"My brother's love is in my heart." she said with tears, Finn smirking.

"I think his love is somewhere deeper tonight." he laughed, Justin chuckling, the Welshman smiling at him.

Their eyes met, Finn's smile widening more.

"It's a big kitchen, Jus." Finn smiled, Andrew smirking, Trish smiling as well.

Justin stared at Finn, the man grinning more.

"The love of my life is right here, Finny." Justin said, Lance's arm around him.

"Love comes in many forms, Jus. Lucas said for me to tell you that your heart needs something more, as do others."

Justin looked confused, his blue eyes meeting Lance's green.

Lance shrugged his shoulders, smiling at his man.

"His love surprises all of us, babe."

Justin smiled, the man released by Lance, his green eyes meeting Finn's smiling face.

"Prepare for scream number two." he softly said when Justin moved and walked towards the kitchen, disappearing through the door.

Everyone looked at each other, a loud scream coming from the room, followed by wild laughter.

Lance looked surprised, Justin walking back into the room, Colton staring at him with surprise.

In the man's strong arms was a younger version of himself, Justin beaming with happiness, another smile greeting everyone.

Jonathan Timberlake smiled, his brother's love carrying him into the room.

Lance parted from the young man, the two having hugged, Jonathan's face covered in a wide smile.

"Why are you here, Jon? This is such a surprise!" Lance smiled, Justin's arm going around his soulmate, Jonathan smiling at both men, after having hugged everyone he knew, Colton quietly staring at him, Jonathan having smiled at him.

"You can thank Luke, Lance. He called Dad last week." Jonathan smiled, Justin's eyes widening in surprise.

"Luke called Dad? For what?" he said, Jonathan smiling at his brother.

"He told Dad that my brother missed me. And that I should come to New York for the week." Jonathan smiled, Justin grinning.

"But don't you have school?" he said, Jonathan smiling.

"It's a week of quietness and interim studies, Dad gave me the go-ahead to skip for a week." he said, Justin grinning wildly.

"Awesome! The Timberlake bros are going to party!" Justin yelled, Jonathan grinning, his brother picking him up and spinning him around, everyone smiling at Justin's enthusiastic response to his younger brother's arrival.

"Man you're getting big, Jon!" Justin smiled, setting his brother down.

"I'm nineteen, Big Baba. I'm not your little squirt anymore." he smiled, Justin smiling at Jonathan's old nickname for him, ruffling his hair, the young man batting his hands away.

"You'll always be my little squirt, squirt! Plus I have a new one." Justin smiled, his blue eyes going to Colton, the young man quietly staring at Justin and his brother.

Jonathan's eyes went to the teenager's blue pools as well, Justin smiling between the two.

"Let me introduce you two. This is my brother Jonathan, Colt. Jon, this is Lucas' cousin, Colton Carlisle." Justin smiled, Jonathan smiling at the teenager.

"Hello, Colton. A pleasure to meet you." he said, the young man walking over to the other young man, Colton staring at him.

The two smiled at each other, Colton extending his hand to the younger Timberlake.

The two shook hands, staring at each other, both smiling.

"A pleasure to meet you too, Jonathan." Colton said, his blue eyes locked on Justin's brother's blue pools.

He saw a great resemblance in their looks, the younger Timberlake's hair a little darker than Justin's, but his face just as handsome.

"I'm just Jon, Colton. If you're related to Luke then you're already a friend." Jonathan smiled, staring at the young handsome teenager.

"And I'm just Colt, Jon. Your being Justin's brother makes you a friend as well." Colton smiled, Lance smiling at the two smiling at each other.

"You're both around the same age, guys. Although Colt's a little younger. You'll have someone to talk to on your own level, Colt." he smiled, Colton smiling at Lance, then at Jonathan.

"Awesome!" he smiled, Jonathan smiling at him, Justin's arm going around Colton.

"So I'm being ditched?" he said, his famous pout showing, Finn chuckling.

"Face it, Timberlake. To these two you're a fossil." he laughed, Justin smiling at his brother, then Colton.

"No way, Jus! You're my bro!" Jonathan smiled, Justin beaming.

"And you're my idol." Colton smiled, Justin ruffling his long blond hair, the young man batting his hands away as Jonathan had done.

"Okay, okay! Man you young boys are so vain and wimpy." Justin laughed, Colton blushing.

Jonathan smiled, leaning in and whispering in Colton's ear.

The young man smiled, their eyes meeting.

Justin was taken off guard; the two teenagers tackling him, bringing him to his ass on the floor.

The man screamed as both tackled his armpits, his laughter filling the room.

Finn's hand went to Lance's shoulder.

"You're not going to have much of a vacation, Lance. You have three teenagers to watch."
Lance laughed, Justin smiling up at him as the two young men released him, both rising to their feet, high-fiving each other.

Colton smiled, Jonathan smiling back.

Justin rose to his feet, his arms going around his man.

"My boys are going to have fun all week. That makes me happy." Lance said, Justin smiling, their lips meeting.

Jonathan smiled, seeing his brother's love for Lance showing openly.

Colton smiled, his eyes meeting Jonathan's.

Finn's blue eyes took in this exchange, the Welshman smiling to himself.

Los Angeles, Two Days Later

Josh's blue eyes took in the vision of beauty diving off the diving board in front of him.

Lucas' toned muscled beauty disappeared under the water, Josh smiling and sipping his iced tea.

Lucas' head broke the water's surface, his handsome face smiling towards his Josh, the young man swimming across the pool, reaching the edge in front of Josh's lounge chair.

The older man was stretched out across it, his trunks-covered body taking in the sun's midday warmth.

"You need no more bronzing, my bronzed god." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"The sun warms my skin, babe. And I love you wet."

Lucas smiled, the young man's hands pulling him upwards, his wet muscled smoothness meeting Josh's blue eyes.

Josh took in the water dripping off his smooth chest, his nipples glistening with wetness.

Lucas wore a pair of black Speedos, his body trim and muscled, his hairy muscular legs dripping wet.

His black curly hair was wet and clinging to his head, Josh sighing with happiness.

"What an amazing view. A god walking among us mortals."

Lucas smiled, rising to his feet, looking down at his man.

"I don't see Justin or Lance here anywhere? And last time I checked I wasn't a mirror."

Josh smiled, staring up at his wet man.

He saw the love in Lucas' violet pools, his words sending a deeper love into his soul.

"To us three you are the god, my beauty."
Lucas smiled, the young man lowering himself on top of his man, Josh trembling.

"That's cold, Lucky!" he said, Lucas' wet body now on top of his dry warmed body.

"And you're hot, Beamy. In body warmth, beauty and soul." Lucas said, his lips meeting Josh's.

Josh felt his man's giving love, the man sighing when Lucas broke the kiss, his wet body snuggling against Josh's, wrapping his wet arms around his man, the two together on the wide lounge chair.

"Thank you, my love." Josh said, Lucas smiling at him, his head against his.

"For what, my love?" he said, his lips kissing Josh's warm cheek, his fingers rubbing across Josh's naked chest.

"For last night, and this morning. For showing your love for me in so many ways. I know what you were trying to do."

Lucas' violet pools met his blue, Josh staring into his soul.

"I was only trying to show you what you mean to me, Joshua."
Josh sighed, kissing his man's lips again.

"I love you, Lucas. It bothers me when my past shows itself to you."

Lucas sighed, his fingers pinching Josh's right nipple, Josh trembling.

"We've had this conversation too many times, my love. Your past is over. You need to let it go. The present is what we need to focus on. I've finally realized something. I think you need to also."

Josh stared at his man, Lucas now gently rubbing the nipple.

"What's that, my love? That your man has had a past of conquests?" he said, Lucas staring at him.

"You're a beautiful man, Josh. I totally understand everyone's wanting you."

Josh sighed, their eyes meeting again, Lucas speaking again.

"What I've realized is what I now have. I have your love, Joshua. You have chosen me. For this moment and hopefully forever. I don't give a damn about your past, my love. Usher, Adam, and all those others should be memories in your mind and soul. I'm not going to fight memories. They all had their chance and blew it. You've chosen me. You love me, Josh. You've accepted my love, my proposal and myself. I know I'm a man of mystery, uncertainty and danger. You've overlooked that and focused on only my love. That has healed my soul, and my life. I can face anything now because I have you and your love. And we've both chosen to include Justin's and Lance's love into our hearts. We're a couple, Joshua. We love each other. You just called me your love. I think you need to realize what you have. You have me, Josh. I am yours forever."

Josh was in tears, staring at his man.

"Oh, Lucas. I love you so much. For just stating the reality of our lives. Of what we both mean to each other. I do love you. You alone." Josh said, Lucas smiling at him, his lips meeting his man's again gently, the two parting.

"That's not totally true, my love. You've forgotten our Jus and our Lancy. They're both there in our hearts. But I know you understand what I'm saying."

Josh smiled, nodding his head.

"I love you, Lucas. I won't ever again think upon my past. It's the present and the future that now matters to me. Your love and our happiness."

Lucas smiled, his hand moving, settling on top of Josh's black trunks, the man gently squeezing his man's center.

"My happiness begins here. With our future and Joshua Chasez's love."
Josh smiled, the man moving, turning his man over onto his back, Lucas now under Josh, the man's lips meeting his man's, his hands moving across Lucas' wet chest.

"God, I love you wet! I want to lick all the moisture off you."

Lucas smiled, Josh's tongue licking the water off Lucas' neck, the young man moaning.

"I think my ass is soaked."
Josh smiled, his blue eyes meeting Lucas' violet.

"Let me focus on the front first, babe. Then I'm going exploring. And deep."
Lucas smiled, the man pulling his lover's face down, their lips meeting in a heated kiss, Josh's tongue entering Lucas' mouth.

Their rising desires were interrupted by the cell phone laying on the table by the lounge going off.

Josh didn't break the kiss, ignoring the ringing sound.

Lucas stretched out his hand, feeling around for the ringing phone, Josh's tongue duelling with his.

Lucas broke the kiss, panting, Josh's lips going to his chest, licking the water off his left nipple, Lucas picking up the phone.

"Hello? Who's this? Make it fast!" Lucas said, Josh smiling and continuing his tongue bath across Lucas' chest.

"Hello, Luke. It's Gideon. Have I caught you at a bad time?" Colton's uncle said, Lucas biting his tongue as Josh's lips attached to his right nipple, gently biting it.

"I'm in the middle of heaven, Gid." Lucas said, Josh's hand slipping into Lucas' black Speedos, pulling out his now enlarged shaft, stroking it as he continued his licking of Lucas' right nipple.

"Ah, okay. How goes the week of private love?" Gideon smiled, sensing the young man had a deep happiness in his voice.

"It goes fantastic, Gid. I'm alone with a god." Lucas said, Josh smiling and raising his head, staring into Lucas' violet eyes, seeing the youthful love and need in those beautiful pools.

Lucas felt Josh's hands pulling his Speedos down his long muscular legs, the man's body returning against him, Lucas feeling his nakedness as well, Josh having removed his own trunks.

"Great to hear, Luke. I was wondering if I could come over later and talk to you?" the man said, Lucas smiling, his eyes meeting Josh's blue, the man's hand rubbing both of Lucas' nipples, his head lowering, engulfing Lucas center, the shaft sinking down his throat.

Lucas bit his lip again, the sensation almost making him scream into the phone, the man somehow able to control his voice.

"I'm always available as a friend, Gid. Come on over for dinner around five." Lucas said, Josh's eyes looking up at him, his shaft still down his throat.

"Thanks, Luke. I'll bring the wine and dessert."

"Cool, see you then, Gid." Lucas said, not waiting to hear the man say goodbye, closing off the phone and tossing it onto the table, his hands going through his man's black hair, Josh rising and lowering his throat on Lucas' hardness, Lucas now moaning loudly.

Josh lowered his fingers, rubbing against Lucas' heat, the young man bucking.

"Oh God, Josh! That. . .oh babe!" he said, his eyes closing, Josh smiling at the sensations he felt running through his lover's toned body.

Josh moved upwards, the man moving Lucas' knees forward, his center rubbing against Lucas' now even more wet shaft.

Their lips met, Lucas lost in the deep kiss of love Josh was giving him, his arms going around his man, the younger man feeling Josh's center searching for its needed warmth.

The two broke the kiss, their eyes opening together, staring into each other's soul.

"I love you, Lucas. For now and forever." he said, the man moving forward, Lucas gasping as he felt the hardness sinking deeply into him, his man's lips meeting his again.

Luca was lost, lost in the love his man was giving him.

His man who now was focused on only him.

For now and forever.

Lucas smiled, opening the door, Gideon's handsome face meeting his.

Lucas took the bottle of wine and brown bag Gideon had been holding in his hand, the man smiling at him as Lucas sat them down on the table by the front door.

"Early, Gid. I like that." he smiled, the young lawyer smiling at him, looking at his watch.

"Four forty-five, Luke. I'm always fifteen minutes early for everything. My mother instilled in me punctuality." he smiled, Lucas smiling and hugging the man to him, Gideon smiling and returning the hug.

"Where's Josh? Too tired to greet me?" he smiled, Lucas smiling back.

"He's in the kitchen now cooking. My bitches are well controlled."

Gideon laughed, Lucas smiling at him.

"Your love, no doubt, is the controlling force."
Lucas smiled, the two men walking across the foyer towards the kitchen, Gideon picking up the wine and dessert, carrying it with him.

The two smiled, walking into the kitchen seeing Josh standing at the stove wearing shorts and a polo shirt, the man stirring pots.

"I'm disappointed. I expected him naked and wearing only an apron." Gideon said, Lucas laughing, Josh smiling at the young lawyer as he walked across the room, then hugged him.

"Only in Lucky's dreams, Gid. And you should have been here ten minutes ago."

The man laughed, kissing Josh's cheek.

"My loss."
Josh smiled, the young man handing him the bag. Lucas taking the bottle of wine.

Josh looked into the bag, smiling towards Lucas.

"Blueberry cheesecake, my favourite." he smiled, Gideon smiling at him.

"Great. I guessed right." he smiled, Lucas' arm going around his man, kissing his cheek.

"My bitch deserves a treat. After being so good all day. Better than good, I should say."
Josh laughed, the two men kissing each other tenderly, Gideon smiling at both men.

"I feel I'm interrupting the love." he said, Lucas breaking the kiss his man gave him, smiling at the young lawyer.

"Our love is non-stop, Gid. And always here for a friend." he said, Gideon softly smiling at Lucas, the young man's arm going around him now.

"Let's let my bitch get our meal ready. There's a nice breeze on the patio." Lucas said, Josh's hand firmly slapping Lucas' ass, the man jumping a bit.

Gideon laughed, Josh winking at his man.

"Dinner will be ready in ten, master."

Lucas laughed, rubbing his ass.

"Thanks, bitch."

Josh smiled, returning to his stove, the two other men walking out onto the patio.

Gideon's eyes met Lucas', the young man smiling at him, winking.

Both men gazed at Josh, the man eating the last of the cheesecake off his plate, his blue eyes meeting both sets of smiling eyes.

He blushed, setting his fork down.

"Three pieces, my love?" Lucas smiled, Josh blushing a bit more, Gideon smiling at him.

"It was so delicious, babe. But I'm now stuffed." Josh said, sitting back in his chair, Lucas smiling at him, seated beside him, Gideon across the table from him.

"Not as good as my mom's homemade was, but it is delicious. There's a small German bakery around the block from my place. I always buy from there." the young lawyer smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"It's indeed delicious, Gid." Josh smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"For what we got to taste, yes." he smiled, Josh blushing a bit more, smiling at his man.

"I worked hard today, as you said, babe. To the victor goes the spoils."

Gideon laughed, sipping at his cup of coffee, Lucas having just set the carafe down on the table, pouring all three coffee.

"A wonderful meal, Josh. You can cook." Gideon smiled, the man smiling back at him.

"Lucas has given me lessons." he said, Lucas leaning over and kissing his man's warm lips.

"You could cook before, my love. I only added to your own flavour."

Josh smiled, his hand going in his man's, his blue eyes going to the cheesecake platter, only one small piece left.

Lucas smirked, his eyes meeting Gideon's.

"He's bottomless, stuffed or not." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"Go for it, babe. Unless Gid wants more?" Lucas said, Gideon shaking his head no.

"I'll never deprive you of your desires, babe." Lucas smiled, lifting the last piece and putting it on his Josh's plate.

The man smiled, diving into the rich blueberry cheesecake.

"I'll hold you to that later, sexy." he smiled, eating the cake.

Lucas smiled, sitting back in his chair, Gideon smiling at him, the man relaxed and full.

"How goes the preparations for the trial, Gid?" Lucas said, sipping his coffee, the lawyer smiling at him.

"We're all organized, Luke. We've gone over all the evidence--at least what's been shown to us--plus we've interviewed the few witnesses there are." Gideon said, Lucas nodding.

"Do you feel the D.A.'s holding something back, Gid?" Josh said, the lawyer looking at him.

"They usually do, Josh. What it is, I can't begin to guess." Gideon said, Lucas staring at him.

"We'll learn that soon enough. I have no worries on that or on what's to come."

"I still can't believe your calmness, Luke. Grayson's talked at length to me about your past, and your family's heritage. You come from courageous stock, my friend. I truly see that in your demeanour."

Lucas smiled, staring at his friend.

"It's a family trait, Gid. I'm seeing it in Colton as well."
The man smiled, nodding his head.

"My nephew's smiling again, Luke. Thank you for giving him reason to."

Lucas smiled, nodding his head.

"I want all my family happy, Gid. That includes you."
The man smiled softly, his eyes glancing at Josh, Josh's blue eyes meeting Lucas' violet.

He smiled, setting down his fork, having finished the last piece of cheesecake.

"I am definitely stuffed, babe! I should start on those dishes and wear some of this off." he smiled, patting his stomach, Lucas smiling at him, his hand rubbing it as well.

"Ten miles up and down the street couldn't wear that off, sexy."

Gideon smiled, Josh leaning over and kissing his man's lips.

"I swear you may have blonde roots at times, my love. I think Gideon wants to talk to you privately. I'll leave you two to talk." he smiled when he broke the kiss, the man beginning to rise from his seat, Gideon's eyes meeting Josh's blue, then Lucas', the younger man smiling at him.

"He's not all looks, Gid. Sometimes he's smarter than me."

Josh smiled, kissing his man's cheek again, picking up some of the dishes.

"You two chat. I'll set up some more coffee and start the dishes." he smiled, Gideon smiling at him.

"Thanks, Josh."

Josh smiled, walking into the house, carrying a load of plates.

Lucas smiled at Gideon, the man softly smiling back.

"He likes to think he's astute, but I knew you wanted to talk to me privately myself." Lucas said, Gideon smiling at him.

"It's nothing too serious, Luke."

Lucas' hand went across the table, patting Gideon's.

"Life and love are always serious when we carry it alone." he said, Gideon's eyes widening a bit, Lucas smiling at him.

"I'm your friend, Gideon. My heart's here for you as well as Colton."

"I. . .I've been doing some thinking, Lucas. I think it's time you knew about myself. And you may not like what I have to say."

Lucas leaned forward a bit, joining his hands together on top of the table, staring at the lawyer.

"No falsehoods, or hidden truths could sway my friendship from your heart, Gideon. Perhaps because I already know what's bothering you."
The young man looked surprised, staring at Lucas.

Lucas sighed, their eyes meeting.

"How long have you been smitten with my Joshua?"

Gideon's blue eyes stared at Lucas in shock, the young man quietly staring at him.

"Lucas. . .I. . .you must believe me. . .I wouldn't. . .!" he stuttered, Lucas moving from his seat, the young man sitting down in Josh's chair beside Gideon, his hand going to his shoulder.

"I know the trueness of your giving heart, Gideon. I know I have nothing to worry about in regards to your feelings for my Josh. And I trust Josh completely. His love is mine, and mine is his."
"I. . .I know that, Lucas. How. . .how did you. . .?"

Lucas smiled, leaning forward and kissing the man's cheek.

"I have the magic of love, Gid. I sense all within the hearts of my family and friends. I don't read their thoughts, but I can't stop feeling their feelings. I've known for a bit that you've been watching Josh."

"I came here to tell you, Lucas. I can't hide it from you. I'll resign today as your lawyer." he said, the man beginning to rise from his chair, Lucas stopping him.

"You'll do no such thing, Gideon." he said, his hand gently but forcefully making the man sit down again.

"I'm sorry, Lucas. I never meant to have these feelings for him." Gideon said, Lucas smiling at him.

"It's hard not to fall in love with Joshua, Gideon. He's a wonderful, giving, loving man. I'm the one who's fallen the deepest for him. His love consumes me."

Gideon nodded, looking towards the house.

"You're so lucky, Lucas. He's beyond beautiful in his looks, his smile and his warm friendship."

"That he is, and I am, Gid."

The man stared at Lucas, seeing only friendship in his violet pools.

"How did you know that I was even gay?" he softly said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Your eyes give much away, Gideon. You and your nephew have the same needful eyes."
Gideon's eyes met Lucas'.

"Colton knows, Lucas. About me being gay, I mean. He opened his soul to me, I had to do the same to him. He told me that I should be more open with my life, especially around you guys. I'm here today because of him. I wanted to be honest with you."
Lucas nodded, smiling at the man.

"You hide your life close to you, Gideon. Your feelings and emotions you hold even closer. I think the man hiding behind the facade is an even more giving, loving man."

Gideon lowered his eyes, Lucas' hand rubbing his shoulder.

"You're my friend, Gid. And you're now Josh's friend. We both welcome you into our friendship, and our family. I think you need to talk to Josh as well. I want you both to get over this. Other paths you both walk. His to my love, yours to someone even more special."

Gideon' eyes raised, staring at Lucas.

"I've felt so lost for so long, Lucas. I was always so alone.  Then Colton came back into my life, and he drew me to all of you. And I see so much love around all of you. Josh is so wonderful, as wonderful as you. I'm sorry for having these feelings, Lucas. I'll try and be your friend. I'll understand if you don't want my friendship."
Lucas sighed, staring at the handsome lawyer.

The two men heard the buzzer go off for the front door, Josh yelling from the kitchen.

"I'll get it, babe." he yelled, Lucas yelling thanks back.

Gideon's eyes met Lucas' again.

"You're my friend, as I already stated, Gideon. Let's focus on that. I trust you and I trust Josh. And I think you need to trust your own heart. I feel it'll go on a better voyage."

Gideon looked confused, their discussion interrupted by Josh stepping out onto the patio.

"Look what was clawing at our door, babe." Josh smiled, Lucas still looking at Gideon.

"A wonderful surprise, Nick and Aaron, and Craig. Come on out into the coolness." he smiled, his violet pools turning and meeting four sets of blue, and four smiles of surprise.

Gideon's eyes went to the door, staring at Nick Carter and his brother Aaron and another young man.

"How'd you know it was us, Luke?" Nick smiled, his eyes glancing at the young man seated at the table, two blue pools staring back at him.

Their eyes met, Nick and Gideon staring at each other, Lucas smiling and rising from his seat.

"Earth to Nick, bro." Aaron smiled, patting his brother's shoulder, Nick breaking his gaze with Gideon, his blue eyes meeting Aaron's blue.

"What?" he said, Aaron laughing.

"Josh asked if you wanted coffee?  Or something else?" Craig said, smiling at Nick, his and Aaron's hands together.

"Coffee would be great, Joshy." he said, the man's blue eyes meeting Lucas', the young man standing in front of him.

"Do I get a hug, or are you too much a star?"

Nick laughed, grabbing Lucas and hugging him tightly.

Aaron and Craig smiled, the two men next to hug Lucas.

"This is my cousin, Gideon Carlisle. He's also my lawyer." Lucas smiled, his eyes meeting Gideon's.

"Hello, Mr. Carter and Mr. Carter. And your friend as well." Gideon said, extending his hand, Craig taking it.

"I'm Craig, a good friend of Aaron's." he smiled, Gideon's eyes glancing at the two men holding hands.

Aaron blushed, releasing his man's hand, Lucas smiling at him.

"No worries, Aaron. You're in my and Josh's home. Be yourselves. In love and free."

The two young men smiled, Aaron's arm going around Craig.

"Craig is my boyfriend, Gideon. And I'm just Aaron. Nick you can call Mister."

Lucas laughed, Nick chuckling.

"Just call me Nick, Gideon." He said, Gideon smiling at his handsome face.

"Hello, Nick. I'm a big fan of your music." Gideon said, Nick smiling at him.

"Cool. Thanks." Nick said, Lucas smiling at him.

"We just finished dinner, guys. There are leftovers." Lucas smiled, Aaron's blue eyes meeting Craig's.

"No words need saying. Youth and their hunger." Josh said, the man having walked back out onto the patio, carrying a tray of coffee and mugs.

Lucas smiled at him, taking the tray from him, Josh smiling at the three new guests.

"I'll warm up everything." he smiled, kissing his man's cheek, the three smiling and sitting down at the table.

Nick sat down beside Gideon, the man smiling at him, picking up the coffee pot and filling three new mugs.

Lucas smiled, walking into the kitchen.

Josh was at the stove, two lips kissing his neck, two strong arms wrapping around his waist.

"Careful, Nick. Luke is such a jealous bear!"

A hand slapped him on the ass, Josh smiling and turning around.

Lucas smiled at him, his lips kissing his.

The two parted, Josh smiling at his man, licking his lips.

"What was that for?"

"Just for being you, babe." Lucas smiled, his hands settling on Josh's firm ass.

Josh smiled at his man, kissing his lips again.

"So, what was Gideon worried about?" Josh said, Lucas staring into his blue eyes.

"You are very astute, my love."

Josh smiled, his hands now on Lucas' muscular ass, pulling the man close.

"I'm sorry, my love. I never led him on."

Lucas looked surprised, Josh softly smiling at him.

"I've seen him watching me, smiling at me when we look at each other. I thought maybe he had feelings for me. Is that what he told you?"
Lucas smiled, kissing his man's lips again.

"Yes, my love. What am I going to do with you? Luring so many with your dashing good looks, sexy smile and beautiful body."

Josh smiled, pulling his man closer.

"You're going to love me, Lucas. Just you is all I need."
Lucas smiled, staring at his man.

"I'll talk with him, Lucas. I want to be his friend. That's all we can be."

"I love you, Joshua. I trust you and I trust him."
Josh nodded, seeing a soft smile on Lucas' young face.

"What's going on in that loving mind of yours? I see a look of knowledge in those beautiful violet pools."

Lucas smiled, snuggling against his man.

"Your love is beautiful, my Joshua. He'll soon see that it's not for him."

"Meaning what?"

Lucas smiled, releasing his man, picking up another carafe of coffee off the coffeemaker.

"Meaning that life gives us surprises. Just look at you and me."
Josh smiled, Lucas walking out of the kitchen, his man's blue eyes following him with love.

Josh filled some bowls, getting dinner ready for his new guests.

Nick sighed, wiping his lips with a napkin, Lucas smiling at him.

"No worries of any leftovers now, my love." Lucas said, Josh laughing, Nick blushing, Aaron smiling, Craig blushing at Lucas.

"The Carters are ravenous, Luke." Craig smiled, Aaron smiling at his man, Craig's arm around the back of his chair.

"In sustenance and love." he said, Craig smiling as Aaron kissed him, Nick smiling at his brother and his boyfriend.

Gideon smiled at the two young men, Craig blushing.

"Relax, babe. I think Gideon's respectful of our secret. He's a lawyer." Aaron smiled, Gideon smiling at him.

"I just have to get used to this public love, my love." Craig said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Our house is love, Craig. And it's always open." Josh said, Lucas smiling at him.

"That was delicious, Josh." Nick smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"You can thank my man, Nick. He told me to double the recipe. Him and his sixth sense." Josh said, Lucas smiling.

"I felt the love gathering." he smiled, Gideon smiling at him.

"I should go, Luke. Your friends are here to visit." he said, Lucas about to say something, Nick beating him to it.

"Please stay, Gideon. I've always been fascinated by the law. And I want to hear all about Lucas' trial. We still can't believe it, Luke. You are innocent of all charges!" Nick said, Lucas smiling at him.

"That I am, Nick. And I have no worries of that being shown. I have my cousin's expertise behind me."
Gideon smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

Nick smiled, staring at the lawyer.

Gideon smiled, Lucas rising from his seat.

"I'll finish the dishes, babe. You stay and talk with our friends. I've heard this story often." he smiled, Josh smiling up at him.

"Alright, my love." he said, Lucas smiling and picking up some plates, Craig picking up some as well, offering to help him carry them in, Lucas politely telling him to sit back down, the young man walking into the house.

"He seems calm, Joshy. We saw the video clips of the interview." Nick said, Josh sighing.

"He is calm, Nick. That speaks volumes to me." Josh said, Gideon nodding his head.

"And that video was all set up." Gideon said, Nick looking surprised, his brother and Craig as well.

"Set up?" he said, Josh nodding his head.

"It's a long story, Nick." Gideon said, the singer smiling at him.

"We have nowhere to go, Gideon. Elaborate." Nick smiled, Gideon smiling at him.

Josh stared quietly at the two, sipping his coffee cup.

Lucas walked out of the house, smiling at everyone, all eyes on him.

"What? Did I forget to zip up?" he said, looking down.

Nick rose from his chair, walking up to the young man, his hand going to his shoulder.

"You're a remarkable man, Lucas. We're all here for you in any way possible." he said, Lucas smiling at his friend.

"I know that, Nick. And I appreciate the offer. You only have to be here as a friend."
Nick smiled, hugging the man against him, Aaron and Craig rising, the young man suddenly in the middle of a group hug.

Gideon and Josh smiled, seeing Lucas' usual blushing reluctance.

"The evening's young, my friends. What would you like to do?" he smiled, separating himself from the three men.

"Let's talk and bond, Luke." Aaron smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Let's head into the living room, guys. Josh destroyed a cheesecake earlier, but I believe I have some other desserts hidden around here."
Nick laughed, Josh blushing and rising from his seat.

Everyone smiled, Gideon rising as well.

He and Nick followed Josh into the house, Aaron and Craig chatting with Lucas.

Josh led them all into the living room, Lucas staying in the kitchen, sorting out some dessert.

They all sat down on couches, Aaron and Craig snuggling together, Nick smiling at them as he sat down on another couch, Gideon sitting down beside him.

"How goes the music career, Nick? I heard the Backstreet Boys' latest CD, it was great." Gideon smiled, the singer smiling at him.

"Goes good, Gideon." he smiled, Gideon smiling back.

"Great to hear. I always liked your voice. Don't tell Justin, but you always sounded better than him when you were both younger." Gideon smiled, Josh laughing.

"Busted! I'm so telling him!" Josh smiled.

Gideon blushed, Nick patting his knee.

"Thanks, Gideon. That's a great compliment. Justin and I have always been good friends. I've got your back."
Gideon smiled, Josh smiling as well.

His blue eyes met Aaron's blue.

"So how are you two doing now? I take it the love's rock solid?" he smiled, Craig smiling, Aaron's arms wrapped around him.

"Thanks to Lucas' love, we're deeply in love."

"Thanks to Lucas?" Gideon said, Nick smiling at him.

"It's an interesting story, Gideon. Tell him all of it, Aaron." Nick smiled, his brother looking at him.

"All of it, Nicky?" he said, Nick smiling at him.

"Yes, Aaron. My own part in it as well." he said, Gideon's blue eyes meeting Nick's blue.

Aaron nodded at his brother, Josh watching all four men as Aaron opened up about Lucas' involvement in their lives.

Fifteen minutes later Nick's blue eyes met his brother's, Aaron smiling at him.

"I have my brother back and I have my Craig's love free and whole. All thanks to Lucas." Aaron said, Craig's arms around him now.

"I need no thanks, my friends."

Everyone turned, Lucas standing in the living room's doorway, a tray in his arms, Josh rising and walking up to him, taking the tray from him.

The young man smiled, Josh smiling back, both walking towards their friends.

"Babe, what's all this?" Josh smiled, setting the tray down on the coffee table, everyone seeing bowls of ice cream, brownies in each bowl as well.

"My Brownie Surprise, babe." Lucas smiled, sitting down beside Craig and Aaron, both smiling at him.

"What's the surprise, Luke?" Nick said with a smile, Lucas smiling at him, the man seated with Gideon across from him.

"Taste it and find out, everyone. Sorry I took so long." he smiled, Josh picking up two bowls, sitting down beside his man, offering him one.

Everyone smiled, rising up and grabbing a bowl.

Lucas smiled, everyone tasting the dessert.

"Oh, my God, Luke! This is divine!" Gideon said, Lucas smiling at him.

"It's just ice cream, brownies, walnuts, Crème De Menthe liqueur and some crushed peppermint." he smiled, thanking Josh as he ate from his bowl.

"It's delicious!" Aaron said, diving into his bowl, Craig nodding his head in agreement.

"Not as delicious as Craig's kisses I'll bet, Aaron." Lucas smiled, sampling his creation.

Everyone smiled, Craig kissing Aaron, Aaron licking some ice cream off his lips.

"Thanks as always, Luke. Those are very delicious." Aaron said, Craig smiling at his man.

Aaron's blue eyes met Lucas', the young man smiling at him with a quiet look on his face.

"Why won't you take our thanks, Lucas?" he said, Lucas smiling again.

"I have your friendship, Aaron. I earned that. You have your love, you earned that."

The two men smiled, Lucas' eyes meeting Nick's.

"Same goes for you, Nick." he smiled, Nick looking at him with emotion.

"You made me see the errors of my ways, Lucas. And what I let my brother walk into. I can never thank you enough for changing my life's path." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"That fault laid at Zac's feet, not yours Nick. You had the insight to see what you were doing wasn't what you needed, Nick."

The man nodded, looking at Lucas.

"You gave me that insight, Lucas."

"It's Luke, Nick. I only showed you what you didn't see. You gave yourself the choice between right and wrong. I think you chose correctly. Judging by the love I see shining in your brother's eyes for you."
Nick smiled, Aaron smiling at him, Craig smiling at both.

"I have my brother back, Luke. Thank you." Nick said, Lucas softly smiling.

"I know, I know! No thanks necessary." Nick smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

Gideon's blue eyes met Nick's blue, the singer lowering his eyes.

"I think you made the right choice as well, Nick." Gideon said, Nick's blue eyes meeting his again.

"You've walked into my not-so-glowing past, Gideon. I hope it doesn't tarnish your earlier image of me? As you now see, the star is just an image. I have problems like anyone else."

"You're a family man, Nick. I see the bond that Lucas helped tighten between you and your brother. And you've gained something else tonight."

Nick nodded, looking at Gideon, taking in his handsome face.

"What's that, Gideon?"

Gideon smiled.

"My friendship."
Nick smiled, Lucas smiling at both men.

"I can be trusted with all I heard and have seen tonight, guys. I see Lucas' love through all this. That in itself guarantees my trust."

The three men smiled, Josh smiling at Gideon.

"And it's just Gid, guys." he smiled, Nick smiling at him.

"Thanks, Gid." he smiled, Gideon smiling wider.

"You're welcome, Nick."

Nick smiled, raising his bowl towards Lucas.

"I want seconds, Luke." he smiled, his bowl empty.

"Same here." Aaron smiled, Craig grinning.

"We're going to have to work out tonight to burn this all off, babe." he smiled, Aaron grinning.

"Awesome!"

Everyone laughed, Lucas rising and picking up the tray.

"I guess pigging out is a singer thing."

Everyone laughed, the young man walking back towards the kitchen for more dessert.

A couple of hours later four friends left Josh's and Lucas' home, the group having a wonderful evening of chatting, laughing and relaxing.

Aaron's and Craig's love showed openly, Josh and Lucas' love shown as well.

Nick and Gideon sat back, watching all four, the two smiling and chatting with their friends and to each other.

Gideon talked to all three about his nephew, he and Josh relating the young man's story as well as Gideon's, and their connection with Lucas.

That, in turn, drew them all to Lucas' present troubles, Gideon explaining to the three men all that had been uncovered and shown so far in regards to the trial.

Lucas sat through their stares and words of support, the young man smiling at all three.

Josh and Nick discussed music, Aaron talking to them as well, Craig and Gideon chatting together as well.

Josh and Lucas talked with everyone, the night waning down.

Just after midnight the four left, Josh and Lucas hugging all four at the door.

Gideon smiled at the three, shaking their hands, all three then hugging him with friendship.

Nick was the last to hug him, smiling at him.

The four walked out of Josh's house, he and Lucas standing at the door.

Gideon walked around his car, climbing into it.

Aaron's car was parked behind his, Nick walking up to Gideon's car just before Gideon put it into drive.

Nick rapped on his window, Gideon looking up at him and lowering the glass.

"Had a great night, Gid. It was great meeting you. I was wondering. . ." he softly said, Gideon staring up into his blue eyes.

"I was wondering if you'd like to meet up this week while I'm still in town? I'm not heading back to New York till the end of the week." Nick continued, his voice a little more focused.
Gideon stared up at the man, a soft smile showing on his handsome face, his blue eyes holding a look of longing hope.

"Sure, Nick. I'd like that. Hang on." Gideon said, pulling his wallet out, handing Nick a business card, after Gideon wrote on the back of it with a pen he'd grabbed off the visor.

"I wrote my cell number on the back. The numbers on the front are my office and fax." Gideon said, Nick smiling at him, pocketing the card.

"Awesome, Gid." Nick said, Gideon smiling at him, Nick looking towards the gates, seeing people standing behind them.

The waiting reporters were looking through the bars.

"I'll call you soon." he smiled, Gideon nodding.

"Alright, Nick."

The singer smiled, walking back to his brother's car, climbing in.

Aaron pulled his car out of its parked spot, beeping his horn, the three in it waving at Gideon and at the two men standing in the doorway.

Gideon's blue eyes went to the doorway, Lucas waving at him, Josh's smiling and waving as well.

The lawyer drove his car down the driveway, following Aaron's car through the opening gates, Josh smiling at his man.

"Does he have a clue about what you've done?" he said, Lucas' violet pools meeting his blue with a look of surprise, Josh smiling and closing the door behind them.

His arms went around his man, Lucas staring at him.

"Your love never ends, my Lucas. I think they'd be perfect for each other."

Lucas stared at Josh, the young man's face breaking into a warm smile.

"My feelings exactly, Joshua. And you're amazing."
Josh smiled, pulling his man close.

"You're the amazing one, babe. I definitely am getting you cards."

Lucas smiled, Josh kissing his lips.

"Looks like Gid's infatuation with you has ended, my love. He's looking towards a blond hunk."

Josh smiled, staring into his lover's violet pools.

"Should I feel slighted?"
"Nah, babe. I'm sure there'll be another beauty running after you soon enough."
Josh smiled, kissing his man's lips again.

Lucas' hand patted Josh's jean-covered ass, the man breaking the kiss.

"Better start running, babe. I aim to catch you and devour you." Lucas smiled, Josh laughing.

Lucas smiled at him, Josh pushing him backwards, Lucas falling onto his ass on the floor.

Josh laughed, the man taking off, running up the staircase, Lucas smiling and regaining his feet, turning and locking the front door.

"Run fast, bitch! I'm going to own your ass!" He yelled, Josh's laughter filling the upstairs.

He smiled, taking the stairs two at a time, chasing after his own beauty.

End of Chapter 111

And so our Lucas' love keeps showing up in surprising ways.

Nick and his brother have walked onto the stage again.

It seems Lucas was well aware of their coming.

And Gideon's opened his heart and life a little more to Lucas, revealing his hidden desires.

Lucas doesn't seem fazed by it.

His love for Josh is solid in its trust and totality.

And now it seems he's guiding Nick and Gideon to each other's troubled souls.

Will something grow there?

Colton has hit the big city, with a surprise already shown.

Justin's brother has shown up.

Apparently at Lucas' suggestion.

Hmm, what's going on there?

Our loving, giving hero seems to be everywhere, guiding all to their happiness.

Let's read on and see what unfolds.

I hope there's no wrinkles.

Hugs, Angel.
