Chapter 157

The Next Day

Justin smiled, the man opening one of the front doors of Kurucu's Haven.

"You made fast time, everyone!" he smiled, the man suddenly wrapped in two strong arms.

"Merry Christmas, Justy!!" Chris Kirkpatrick said, kissing Justin on the lips.

Chris Pine smiled behind his man, others smiling as well.

Justin broke the kiss, Chris grinning at him.

"Christmas was two days ago, Chris! And your lips taste like Pine! Season's greetings, everyone!" he smiled, Chris releasing him, the man hugged by everyone walking into the mansion.

"This place is a freaking palace!" Chris said, his eyes looking around the large foyer, everyone in awe of the place since they'd passed through the forested area, seeing the large mansion sprawled across the open field on the other side of the stone bridge.

"Big it is, I'll give you that." Piney said, his arm going around his partner.

Justin smiled, everyone smiling at him.

"It's huge, but it's warm and inviting. Set your bags at the door, We'll show you your rooms later."

"This place is amazing, Justin." Adam said, Justin smiling at him and Usher, Pierce between the two men.

"It's Lucas' family home, guys. It's as magical as he now is." Justin said, everyone's eyes gazing at the large portrait hanging in the middle of the large double staircase before them.

"Lucas' great-great-grandfather, Emmanuel Belmont. The builder of this vast estate."

Everyone's eyes turned, Grayson, who'd spoken, smiling at everyone, he and Gabriel walking across the foyer towards everyone.

Justin smiled at both, seeing their hands joined, the two men greeting everyone, hugs exchanged again.

"Welcome to Kurucu's Haven, everyone." Grayson smiled, everyone looking around the foyer, taking in its opulent furnishings.

Karen smiled at Justin, kissing his cheek.

"Where are my sons, Justin?" she smiled, Roy's arm around her.

"They're around here somewhere, Mom." Justin smiled, Karen smiling at his using that name.

"Just a few days left. I'd run if I was Luke." Joey smiled, his wife kissing his cheek, Briahna smiling up at her father.

Karen laughed, Roy smiling.

"The leg irons are already made." he said, everyone laughing, Grayson smiling at Gabriel.

"I hope you've made quite a few pair, Roy." Grayson said, Justin laughing, everyone looking at the two with confusion.

"It's been a revealing, surprising few days, everyone. Let's head for the Receiving Room. A fire warms and Mavis has refreshments ready, and lunch will be in an hour or so. You're in for some surprises." Justin smiled, everyone smiling at him.

"And I bet Luke is in the center of it all?" Piney said, Grayson smiling and nodding.

"Of course. His love never stops giving." Gabriel said, everyone smiling at the judge.

"And we have some new members of the group to introduce to all of you." Justin smiled and looked upwards towards the voice that had spoken.

Everyone's eyes went upwards, two green pools smiling down at them.

Lance walked down the left staircase, Josh right behind him, the two walking to the bottom steps, their parents greeting them with tender hugs and kisses.

Justin smiled, his hand going in Lance's when they walked up to each other.

"Welcome to another Lucas Lovefest, everyone. His love has expanded." Josh smiled, his parents smiling at him.

"What's the boy done now?" Roy smiled, Josh smiling at him, his arm going around his father.

"You won't believe it, Dad." he smiled, everyone trading looks, then following the two men, heading towards the Receiving Room.

Skyler smiled, seeing the women surrounding her, Finn and their children.

Julian was in Karen's arms, the woman staring at the small infant with happiness.

"Oh, he's beautiful, Skyler!" she said, Diana in Diane's arms, Lance seeing his mother's motherly love shining.

"They're both angels." she said, Justin's arm going around his man's waist.

"Wait till you hold your own grandchildren, Mom. They'll make your eyes sparkle." he said, Lynn looking at her son.

"You're not pregnant are you, Lance?" she said, everyone laughing, surrounding the two angels.

"No, Mom. That would be a miracle even Lucas couldn't create." he said, Justin laughing, Josh leaning over and whispering in his ear.

"But he won't give up trying to seed all of us." he whispered, Justin laughing more.

"Let's hope not." Justin whispered back through his laughter, everyone smiling at the two men.

"Where is your old ball and chain, Joshy?" Joey smiled, the man's hands full of cookies and a cup of apple cider.

Everyone was relaxing around the Receiving Room, the new people filled in on the goings on of the last few days.

They had been introduced to Jefferson and Myles, the two men welcomed by everyone, Randall smiling with happiness.

Rosa Sharon felt all their love as well, the young girl carrying her old doll with her, everyone marvelling at Lucas' surprising gifts.

"He's around somewhere. He said he had to do something before lunch." Emerson said, Josh nodding.

"He left us in Emerson's library about an hour ago." Justin said, Lance smiling at him.

"Perhaps another surprise?" Isadora said, Josh smiling at her.

"His love surprises all of us. Let's take it as it comes." he smiled, Finn snickering.

"That show we don't need to see." he said, Chris laughing, Alain joining him, Piney rolling his eyes.

"He didn't get much sleep on the plane. He's wired." Chris Pine smiled, Josh smiling at him.

"I know he's not AC/DC. And that wiring is old and frayed."

Chris' eyes widened, turning to the room's doorway, a young man standing in its center, everyone smiling.

"Hello, everyone. Welcome to my love." Lucas smiled, Josh smiling and taking in his beautiful form.

Lucas wore a total black outfit, a black silk shirt showing every inch of his muscled form.

Justin smiled at the vision, his love stirring, Lance watching him and smiling, one hand going to Justin's back pocket, slipping into it.

Lucas walked forward, the young man smiling at everyone.

Everyone took in his now emerald eyes, the young man's beauty even more striking.

"Lucas. . .Luke. . .your eyes?" Chris said, Lucas smiling at him as he stopped before him.

"Still seeing life at its fullness.  And you look like you've filled out nicely." he smiled, Chris Pine laughing, his arms going around Lucas.

"Hello, Lucas. Glad to see you again." he smiled, the two hugging.

Lucas smiled, everyone who'd arrived today hugging him and kissing him.

The last to hug him was Adam, Lucas smiling at him.

"I thought you were supposed to be my Christmas gift? You're late." Lucas smiled, Adam laughing.

"Sorry, my men wouldn't let me out from under their tree." he smiled, Pierce's arm going around him.

"But what a package to open Christmas morning!"

Lucas laughed, everyone smiling at his rich, happy laugh.

Adam smiled, staring into Pierce's blue pools of love.

"Welcome to a week of happiness and love. In two days we leave this wintry paradise for a tropical one." Lucas smiled, Josh's arms going around him.

Adam smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"We've learned of the joining of your love's happiness, Luke. A mass wedding under the sunshine. How beautiful." he smiled, Usher's lips kissing Adam's cheek, the man's arm going around him as well.

"We could join the love, babe?" he said, Lucas smiling at the black man.

"Love has something greater in mind for you, Ush. Adam's new love needs to have a specialness to its joining forever." he said, Adam smiling at the young man.

"What do you mean, Luke?" he said, Lucas smiling at him, Usher and Pierce.

Lucas moved, snuggling against his man.

"Right now, I'm famished. Lead on to the food, Mavis." he said, the cook walking into the room a few moments later, everyone looking at her smiling face.

"Lunch is ready, everyone. Hello new faces of happiness!" she smiled, everyone's eyes moving to Lucas' green pools.

"I smelled the luring larder." he smiled, him and Josh walking towards Mavis, everyone smiling at the young man.

Adam leaned into Justin as they all began to follow the two men and Mavis.

"He's changed, Jus." Adam said, Justin smiling, Usher and Pierce smiling at him and Lance as well.

"Indeed, Adam. His love is immense. And we're all exhausted." he said, Lance grinning.

The three men smiled, seeing the joy and happiness on both their faces.

"You don't seem to mind, Jus?" Usher smiled, Justin smiling more.

"No, no indeed. It's a beautiful exhaustion." Justin smiled, Lance smiling at him.

Adam's blue pools looked ahead, Lucas' head turning, smiling back at all of them as they walked across the foyer heading to the dining room.

Adam smiled, feeling the love surrounding him.

"Know the feeling, Jus. It's indeed beautiful." he smiled, his blue pools meeting Usher's brown, then Pierce's blue.

Justin and Lance smiled, the two walking with their friends.

Joey sighed, the man laying across a couch, his daughter snuggled against him.

"Call Greenpeace. That whale's beached!" Justin smiled, everyone laughing, Joey raising his arm, giving a thumbs up.

"I'm full." he softly said, a contented smile on his face, Kelly smiling at him from the end of the couch, rubbing his shoeless feet.

"You overate, my love. Four plates?" she said, her tone admonishing but loving.
Joey smiled, his eyes going to the two Chrises, Chris laying on another couch, his man's arms around him, Chris' head in his man's lap.

"I had to match the Beluga over there." he smiled, Chris raising a finger.

Chris Pine laughed, kissing his man's forehead.

"Easier to catch now, Kelly." he said, Kelly smiling at the actor.

"But now they want pampering." she smiled, rubbing Joey's feet, Josh smiling at her, he sitting with Justin and Lance on a couch.

"Most babies do."

Everyone laughed, relaxing around the Receiving Room again, lunch now finished.

"Don't get too comfortable, Joe. We need to find our rooms and explore this big, old place." Kelly said, Isadora smiling at her.

"It's big and old, but it is beautiful. You're all staying in the west wing with everyone else. Plenty of rooms for everyone." she smiled, everyone smiling at the woman.

Josh smiled, looking towards the room's closed door.

Lucas had disappeared after lunch, Adam, Nick and Aaron with him.

The young man walked towards the cavadeum with the three men.

He'd said he'd needed to discuss something with them.

"Where's Luke gotten off to?" Justin said, Lance kissing his cheek.

"He didn't say, Jus." Josh said, Justin looking at his soulmates.

"I don't like him out of my sight." he said, Lance smiling at Justin.

"What are we, window dressing?" he smiled, Justin blushing.

"You're my Lance, babe. And my Josh. I don't want you out of my sight either." he smiled, the three snuggling together more.

Everyone smiled at the three, seeing their closeness.

The door of the room opened, Lucas' smiling face walking into it, the other three following.

They all wore looks of smiling love as well, Lucas' violet pools looking around the room.

"Have we all gone to seed? The day's just starting." he smiled, his three loves smiling at him.

"Just waiting for your giving love, Luke." Colton smiled, he and Jonathan seated by the tree, Rosa Sharon and Stephen with them, the four playing a game.

Lucas smiled at the young man, leaning down and kissing his forehead.

"You've got a game afoot. Everyone else needs to explore this place. It's open to all of you. There's a games room, an indoor pool, a garden, and many rooms of adventure." he smiled, everyone smiling at him.

"How about we see our rooms first, Luke? We'd like to get our bearings." Craig smiled, Aaron smiling at him, the man's arms already around him.

"Certainly, everyone. Jefferson, can you guide them?" Lucas said, the man smiling.

"With pleasure, Lucas." the man said, he and Myles rising from their seats, everyone rising as well.

"I'm heading for the pool for a swim. How about a pool party, everyone?"  Lucas smiled, his three men smiling at him.

"Great idea, Lucas." Tristan said, Lucas smiling at his father.

"Great. It's up to everyone what they'd like to do. This is my home, treat it as your own, everyone." Tristan smiled, his father smiling at him.

"My son speaks for myself as well. Welcome to our home." he smiled, everyone smiling at him.

"I guess I shall reward all of you with my showing beauty. A swim sounds nice." Finn smiled, his son in his arms.

"I'll bring the scooping net for your furballs." Lucas smiled, everyone laughing.

Finn blushed, his son moving in his arms, Skyler at his side with Diana, kissing her man's cheek.

"Might as well get my son used to the water." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Yep. And he'll see wildlife as well. Two whales and a walrus."

Everyone laughed, Lucas smiling, the young man suddenly tackled by Chris and Joey, the two tickling him.

Josh smiled, Justin and Lance diving on top of them, trying to rescue Lucas.

"Come on everyone. Follow Jefferson. Time enough in the pool for whale watching." Josh smiled, laughing, everyone following him and Jefferson out of the room.

The five on the floor stopped their tickle fest, rising to their feet, Justin helping Lucas gain his.

"My hero. You looked just as trapped as me." Lucas smiled, Justin kissing his lips.

Joey and Chris smiled, Lance smiling as well.

"Save it for later, pervs." Joey smiled, Lucas' violet pools meeting his blue.

"Feeling left out, Joe?"
Joey backed up, raising his hands.

"No. . .no, Luke! I'm fine!" he smiled, Lucas smiling, patting his shoulder.

"No worries, Joe. I've got enough to handle." he smiled, Justin and Lance's arms going around him.

"For now." Lucas smiled, the young man moving, Justin and Lance's eyes meeting.

"Surprises are coming. I feel it." Lance said, the four men looking at each other.

They followed the young man, going in search of the others.

Lucas walked into the pool area.

He smiled, taking in all the smiling faces, the pool and its marbled area filled with everyone.

He wore a robe, three other robed visions following him.

"Looks like everyone wanted to surround themselves with your love, Luke. Everyone's here." Justin smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"I assumed as much." he smiled, the man opening his robe, tossing it on a lounge chair by the pool's edge, everyone smiling at him.

He wore only a black bikini Speedo, the young man running and diving into the pool.

Everyone's eyes had been on the young man's body, seeing the muscled beauty of his smooth sleek form.

Josh smiled, he and his other two lovers removing their robes, all three wearing only swim trunks.

The three ran for the pool's edge as well, diving into the warm water.

Lucas had regained the surface, the young man coming out of the water right in front of Adam and Usher, Pierce swimming beside them as well.

"Nice! Warm and refreshing!" Lucas smiled, his hands going through his wet hair.

Adam smiled at him, taking in the man's smooth beauty.

"That you are, Luke. Very nice!" he smiled, Lucas smiling, taking in his tattooed form.

"Thanks, sexy tattoo boy." he smiled, Adam smiling.

"Eye candy's eye candy. My men will thank you later." Adam smiled, Usher's lips kissing his wet neck.

"How about right now?" he said, Pierce smiling, his hand on Adam's bikini covered butt under the water.

Lucas smiled, swimming back towards his men.

"Keep it clean, guys." he smiled back at them, Josh's arms going around him in the pool, their lips meeting.

Adam smiled, swimming towards a secluded corner of the pool, his men swimming with him.

Lucas and Josh broke their kiss, Josh's lips replaced by Justin's, Lucas feeling his love in his tender lips and in his hands now firmly attached to Lucas' butt cheeks.

They broke their kiss, Lucas staring into Justin's needful blue pools, Lance kissing Lucas' cheek, the four men swimming together.

"He's got that look, Lucky. Your teasing upstairs has our HD on full charge." Josh smiled, Justin smiling at him, his blue pools meeting Lucas' violet again.

"Way to leave me hanging, Lucky." he said, Lucas smiling, kissing his lips softly again.

"Yeah, but it was hanging at full mast." he smiled, Justin smiling.

"Yeah well, payback's a bitch, tease. I know exactly what harbour it's going to find safe haven in tonight." Justin said, splashing Lucas with water, the young man smiling, blowing Justin a kiss.

"Promises, promises. I want all my docks filled later." Lucas smiled, kissing Josh's lips again.

"You three boys have fun. I need to mingle." Lucas smiled, the young man swimming away from the three, heading towards Finn and Skyler, the two in the shallow end of the pool with Andrew and Trish, their infants in their watery arms.

The three smiled after him, Josh feeling Justin kissing his neck.

"His love is amazing. He makes you feel how much you need it." Lance said, Josh smiling.

"I need all your love." Justin said, Josh and Lance smiling at each other.

Justin felt Josh's hand go down the front of his trunks, latching onto his rising need, another hand in the back of his shorts, a finger rubbing his center, Lance's lips on his neck now.

"Let's find a secluded spot and get this dinghy ship-shape." Lance said, all three looking at each other, all three laughing together.

They laughed, swimming towards the deep end, joining their friends.

The afternoon was filled with fun, everyone enjoying the pool and the surrounding love.

Lucas was everywhere, the young man showing his love to everyone.

He swam with Rosa Sharon and Stephen, both feeling his brotherly love, the young man treating them as individuals, not children.

Colton and Jonathan played with both as well, everyone feeling their joined sibling love.

Lucas had private and open conversations with everyone, everyone filled in on the last week's surprises and love.

Around five they all departed the pool, going to their rooms to change, dinner scheduled for six-thirty.

Justin found himself in the center of the trio of his love, their bedroom filled with their loving needs.

The three of his heart did indeed get him ship-shape.

He felt all of their probing love, Lucas' the most desirous and consuming.

The four washed together, Lance giving Justin a wet moment of his possessive love.

Lucas gave Josh the same, the four joined with their soulmate's love.

They dressed each other, Justin selecting their sensual attire.

Lucas marvelled at his style sense, the man a fashion dynamo.

Lucas admired himself in the mirror, Justin standing behind him, his hands on Lucas' firm butt.

"How can you fit two melons in a sock, Jus? I look like a groper's dream." Lucas said, seeing the tightness of his sleek black dress pants.

Justin smiled, kneading his left butt cheek.

"The look I was going for. We might as well be happy all night." he smiled, Lucas smiling, feeling the other two of his heart's hands on his ass as well.

"Something tells me I'm going to be the center of a ramfest tonight." he smiled, the three smiling at each other.

"We all love your tushy, babe." Josh said, Lucas smiling.

"It's all yours, my three HDs."

All four smiled, walking out of their bedroom, walking downstairs.

They joined with all their families and friends in the Receiving Room, before dinner drinks agreed upon.

Lucas smiled, seeing everyone relaxing, talking and drinking.

Rosa Sharon ran up to Lucas, the young man going to his knees.

"Uncle Joey and Uncle Chris say they're going to play with us tomorrow outside, Dad!" she smiled, Lucas smiling, looking towards Joey's smiling face, Chris smiling as well beside him.

"Awesome angel! Maybe another snowman will appear." Lucas smiled, looking towards Finn.

"I'm not venturing out into the snow again, Magic Man." Finn smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

"Then we'll have to find a new one." he smiled at Rosa Sharon, Joey and Chris looking at Lucas as he stood up again.

"There's lots of snow, Luke. Won't be any problem making one." Chris said, Justin and Josh laughing.

"What?" Chris said, Justin smiling at him.

"Nothing, Chris. Enjoy the snow. Luke makes it fun." he smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

Lucas walked around, chatting with everyone, everyone enjoying their drinks and friends.

Horace walked in a half hour later, Emerson smiling at him.

"The Mavises have dinner ready, everyone. Let's retire to the dining room." he smiled, Emerson smiling and standing up.

Everyone rose to their feet, couples joining their arms, Lucas smiling, his hand going in Josh's.

"On to happiness, my love. Good food, good friends and love." Lucas said, Josh smiling, the two walking with Justin and Lance, following Lucas' grandparents and parents.

Lucas smiled, putting down his fork and wiping his lips with his napkin.

"That hit the spot immensely." he smiled, Mavis smiling at him from the next table.

The large dining room was now filled with three large tables, Lucas' family now larger.

They'd all dined on roast beef, roast pork and succulent roasted chickens.

"Land sakes, it's good to feed a large brood again!" Mavis smiled, Horace kissing her cheek.

"I feed many at home, Mavis. My Seany's family and my own are large. Comes second nature. Moochers have loving hearts." Momma Mavis smiled, Finn smiling at his mother.

"And you love to do it, Momma Mavis." Lucas smiled, the woman smiling widely, nodding her head.

"As do I, Lucas. A family needs nourishment." Mavis said, Horace smiling at her, her son Myles smiling as well, seated with Jefferson, Randall and Lisa.

Lucas smiled, looking around at everyone, seeing joined families of happiness, and couples of love.

Emerson smiled at him, the man at the head of his table as usual, Tristan and Savannah on his right, Lucas and Josh on his left, Isadora seated beside Savannah.

"You seem beyond happy, my grandson. Your smile and love spreads around all of us." he said, Lucas smiling at his grandfather.

"Life is good for all of us, Grandfather. We are surrounded by love and friendship, by family and life." he smiled, his eyes going around, seeing all the smiling faces.

He saw one face quietly watching him, two blue eyes lowering against his calm gaze.

Josh filled Lucas' glass with more wine, the young man smiling at him.

"Thank you, my love. The sweetness of its bouquet is matched by only the sweetness of your smile."

Josh smiled, kissing his man's cheek, his arm going around the back of his chair, Lucas feeling his love.

The conversation had been happy throughout the meal, Lucas opening up about the last few days more, everyone hearing of his love and surprises.

"Wherever did you find those artifacts, Lucas? The snow globe and the rings?" Grayson said, his blue eyes going to the rings Josh, Justin and Lance wore.

All three had shown everyone their rings on Christmas morning, explaining the love behind them.

Their newly arrived family and friends had heard the stories as well.

Lucas' violet pools met Grayson's blue, the lawyer staring at him with a soft look of worry in his blue eyes.

"I walk all dimensions, Gray. All paths and all rooms of treasure." he said, Emerson looking at his grandson.

"Treasure, Lucas?" Emerson said, Lucas nodding his head.

"Yes, Grandfather. The gift I gave Stephen has magic. It is older than all of us." he said, Stephen staring at him.

"Wow! Really, Luke?"

Lucas smiled, nodding his head.

"Yes, Stevie. Your heart needed your brother's love. I retrieved the globe for just that purpose. It won't be missed." Lucas said, Stephen beaming at his brother Justin.

Justin smiled, looking at Lucas.

"Missed by whom?" Tristan said, Lucas looking at his father.

"Yes, an interesting question." Lucas said, sipping at his wine, his face showing a look of thoughtfulness.

"Ever mysterious you are, Lucas." Reverend Saunders said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Secrets need to be kept safe, Lewis. Eyes are everywhere." he said, everyone looking around the room.

"Sorry, just being melodramatic. We're not being watched at the moment. I would feel that." Lucas said, smiling.

"You didn't really answer the question, Luke." Finn said, Lucas smiling at his old friend, the Welshman holding his son in his lap, Skyler breastfeeding Diana beside him.

"No, I guess I didn't." he said, his eyes moving, meeting the two blue pools that had been staring at him earlier.

"Speak from your heart, Myles. I sense a question brewing in your mind." Lucas said, Myles staring at him with soft surprise.

"Your magic is great, Lucas." he said, Lucas smiling.

"Ask away my friend." Lucas said, sitting back in his chair.

"I was shocked to see the globe Christmas Eve, Lucas. It has been a long time since I last saw it." he said, Mavis looking at her son.

"Yes, I'm sure you were surprised. Myles." Lucas said, the man staring at him.

"You know, don't you?" he said, Lucas looking at him.

"I felt your love within it when I picked it up, Myles. The youthful love of what it gave you."

Everyone stared between the two, Chris' eyes looking at Myles.

"That magical snow globe is yours?" he said, everyone looking at Myles, the man lowering his eyes.

"Yes, at one time it was. When I was a mere child, lost within my own self." he said, Emerson looking at Lucas.

"It's alright, Grandfather. I know you and Grandmother and Grayson--as well as Mavis and Horace--have all seen that globe before."

Everyone looked surprised, Mavis' eyes going to Emerson's.

"You are deep within the magic, my grandson. We cannot hide anything from you." he said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Your love is in the open, Grandfather. All of your love. The past holds its secrets. But as such, what once was always walks back into our lives." Lucas said, Josh staring at him.

Lucas smiled, leaning over and kissing his lips.

"I'm fine, my love. And there's love everywhere around me. As well as magic." Lucas said, his now green pools looking towards Myles.

"You treasured that globe, didn't you, Myles?" he said, the older man nodding.

"Yes, Lucas. Someone gave it to me when I was just a boy. In it I saw my dreams."

"You saw your life." Lucas said, everyone staring at the man.

"I saw my Jefferson, my life of blindness and my life's path. Up until the day of your arrival."

Everyone looked surprised, the man's head raising, staring at Lucas.

Lucas smiled, rising from his seat, the young man walking over to the fireplace behind Myles' chair, the young man stirring the coals, the room warm with the fire's heat.

"A globe to calm your soul for the life ahead."

Jefferson's arm had gone around Myles, staring at him.

"You. . .you knew we'd meet? You knew you'd have a life of pain?" he said, Myles' blue eyes meeting his blue.

"Yes, my love. For I saw it all, and I reasoned out the meaning of what it meant. After I got over the fear in my soul, I felt the greater truth." he said, Lucas' green pools looking towards him.

"What did it mean, Myles?" Randall said, looking at his old friend with concern.

"It meant that life is a path we walk. That we find love as we are destined to find it. That we walk a path that may hold pain, hurt and soul-crushing loss. But we live. We go on. From out of hurt and pain, and love and life, we find what makes us ourselves."

Everyone stared at Lucas, the young man having spoken for Myles.

"Correct, Lucas. I saw Jefferson's face in that globe. A handsome face of beautiful love. I saw my future soulmate before me. I would walk any path to find his love."
Jefferson was in tears, Myles' hand going in his.

"I loved you then, Abraham. I love you now." he said, the two kissing, Randall smiling, seeing their love unchanged.

His blue eyes went to Lucas' green, the young man calmly smiling at him.

"Why would he see that in the globe, Lucas? Stephen and all of us just saw our home and Justin." Randall said, Lucas nodding.

"Yes, that's what you all saw, Randall. And Myles saw what he needed to see. The magic within the globe is a transference magic. Your thoughts, dreams and wants are drawn to it. The magic reflects back to you what you need to calm your soul. Stephen saw Justin, his brother's love forever now with him. Myles saw the dreams of his soul. Something to hold onto on the path of his existence. The promise of a deep love ahead for him. That kept him going through all his life. Until he met his soulmate. Once that occurred, the globe left him. As it will later in the future for Stephen, when his love for his brother will always be in his heart, regardless of where he is."

Everyone nodded, staring at the small boy and then at Myles.

"That's a remarkable globe, Lucas. It could give a lot of people hope." Lewis said, Lucas looking at the minister.

"It already has, Lewis. And it always will. But it is magic. It has its own agenda, its own path to follow. It chooses to whom it goes." Lucas said, Stephen staring at him.

"It chose me, Luke?" he said, Lucas smiling at the boy.

"With a little help from myself. I asked it to wander off its path for you, Stevie."

"Wander off its path?" Randall said, Lucas smiling at the boy, then at his father.

"Magic is coherent, concise and focused. It goes where it deems it needs to go. There are very few who can change magic's path. I am one such soul." Lucas said, his eyes looking around the room.

Lucas' eyes were on Myles again, the man staring at him.

"Ask your question, my friend."

Everyone looked at Myles, the man staring at Lucas.

"All my life I've felt different, Lucas. Like I was destined for something." he said, Lucas nodding his head.

"In a way you are, Myles." Lucas said, Mavis staring at the young man, Lucas' eyes meeting hers.

"You are a Carlisle, Myles. Your family and my own are part of a greater destiny." Lucas said, the man nodding.

"Do I. . .?" he softly said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Magic flows through your blood, Myles. As it flows through our parents'. The magic of you, like myself, is your love." Lucas smiled, the man nodding again.

"I have always been a loving man, Lucas."

"I know, Myles. As your mother and father have been loving parents. As my own parents and grandparents have." he said, his family smiling at him.

"You said that the hidden room within this old house was a triad unto itself, Lucas. What did you mean by that?" Myles said, Emerson remembering that Lucas had said that as well, staring at his grandson.

"You are intelligent, Myles. I guess I did say that. Perhaps unconsciously." Lucas said, Emerson staring at him.

"Meaning you didn't want us to know that fact?"

"No, Grandfather. I just put more into the statement than it warrants at this time." Lucas said, Josh staring at him.

Lucas' eyes met his grandfather's again.

"Your grandfather was a man of deep intellect and great courage, Grandfather. He built this home around his love. And for another purpose." Lucas said, his eyes moving upwards, looking around.

"For the magic here?" Josh said, Lucas looking at him.

His eyes met Emerson's green pools again.

"Have you ever wondered why your grandfather, Emanuel Belmont, built this home in the middle of a then wilderness?" Lucas said, Emerson staring at him.

"My own father asked him that same question, Lucas. Many years ago." Emerson said, Lucas nodding.

"And what was his answer to that question?" Lucas said, Emerson looking around the room.

"He said `I seek life, I seek answers. I went to where the truth was.'" Emerson said, Lucas smiling.

"Very courageous indeed." he said, the young man returning to his seat with Josh.

"What's going on, my love?" Josh said, Lucas smiling, looking at his grandfather.

"Life, Joshua. Secrets need voicing, love needs showing." he said, the young man taking Josh's hand in his, Josh looking at the ring Lucas had given him for Christmas.

"What of our rings, my love?" Josh said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Those rings are a triad of forging love, my love. There is magic in them. The magic of my love. Each of you has a piece of myself with you always. They themselves are not magic, just conduits for it. I gave each to you three as a weapon of protection. My loving protection." he smiled, Justin smiling at him.

"I'm never taking mine off, Lucas. I feel your love always." he said, Lucas smiling.

His eyes went around the room again, everyone staring at him.

He smiled, looking at his grandfather.

"It wasn't an answer that drew him here so long ago, Grandfather. Grandfather Emanuel came here because of magic. For the beacon that drew him here. A triad of truth, so to speak. This haven is one of three places of magic. Designed to draw all of magic."

"You mean. . .this house. . .it's a beacon of some sort? Of magic's greatness?" Emerson said, Lucas looking at him.

Lucas sighed, looking around again.

"This house is only a home, Grandfather. I'm sure your grandfather thought of it as such. But it is something else."

"What is it, Lucas?" Finn said, the young man on the edge of his seat, his son now in his father Sean's arms, sound asleep.

Lucas sighed again, looking around.

"I said it was a triad of destiny. There are two other places with the same magic, with the same drawing truth." Lucas said, the young man moving his hand, pulling something out of his pants pocket, setting it down on the dining room table, everyone focusing on it.

They all stared at a silver key laying on the table, Emerson's green eyes on it, Tristan staring at it with awe.

"The key. . .the key under the dome?" he said, Lucas' eyes meeting his father's.

"Yes, Dad. The key destined to fall into my hands." he said, looking around again.

"The other two places have been a part of my families' past and paths. One a place of starting reality, one a place of escaping reality. Both are as the other.  This place's reality I haven't totally discerned. They are the three points of the realms' Trinity."
"What other two places, Lucas?" Vivian said, Lucas smiling at her.

"You've visited one, Mom." he said, Vivian staring at him, her eyes widening.

"Fynach Asgre! The church on Holy Island!" she said, Lucas nodding.

"Yes, Mom. That place of magic where Mom and Dad disappeared so many years ago." he said, Tristan and Savannah staring at him.

"And the second, Lucas?" Emerson said, his eyes meeting his son's, Lucas staring at him.

"The Egyptian tomb our ancestor walked into eons ago, Grandfather. The tomb that became Alsarius' resting place. The place where your Trinity began."

Everyone stared at him with surprise, Lewis staring at him.

"Three points of magic, Lucas? Three places of magical power?"

"Three points of truth, Reverend. My family's truth and my own." Lucas said, picking up the key again, depositing it back into his pants pocket.

"What is that key for, Lucas? What does it open?" Josh said, Lucas' violet pools meeting his blue.

"I haven't totally reasoned that out yet, my love. But I now know what hides here. What hid there so many eons ago in Egypt, and twenty years ago in Wales." Lucas said, Emerson staring at him.

"Magic, Lucas? An evil magic?"

"Time will tell, Grandfather. Time will tell." Lucas said, his violet pools looking at someone.

Someone's eyes lowered, Lucas softly smiling.

"What hides here, Lucas?" Josh said, Lucas smiling at him.

"Truth, my love. A great truth of love and magic. And of sacrifice and destiny. And I am the one to show it." he smiled, Emerson staring at him.

"The. . .the three places are related?" he said, Lucas nodding.

"Yes, Grandfather. Three places of luring truth." he said, looking around again.

"Are we safe here, Lucas?" Gabriel said, Lucas smiling at the judge.

"Yes, Gabriel. You are all safe behind protective love. You more than others. And my family has been safe always." he smiled, his eyes moving to his grandfather's staring green pools.

"You know the truth, my grandson?" he said, Lucas smiling at him, leaning over and kissing his grandfather's cheek.

"I saw behind the shadows, Grandfather. His magic was never hidden from mine."

Emerson's eyes moved, two blue pools meeting his.

"He is the one, Brother." Emerson said, everyone looking confused, all eyes staring at one man whose blue pools were staring directly at Lucas.

"Your written words calmed my soul, Lucas." the man said, Lucas smiling.

"They were written with love, Great Uncle. I saw behind your façade, brothers of life. And I feel my Grandfather's courage."

Emerson rose from his seat, the other man rising as well, the two walking towards each other.

"He sees through magic, Brother."

"He sees with love, Emerson."

Emerson smiled, the two men hugging, everyone rising from their seats with surprise.

Chris' blue pools were staring at Lucas, the young man smiling at him.

"They're. . .they're brothers?!" he said, Lucas smiling at the two embracing men.

Lucas remained seated, two blue pools staring at him.

"Welcome into the real world, Uncle Grayson."

End of Chapter 157

How shocking is that?!

Grayson is Emerson's brother?

How can that be?

Why all the deception?

It seems Lucas was well aware of it.

Why draw it out now?

This family is shrouded in confusion and mystery.

Lucas seems to be well aware of his surroundings.

Three places of magic drawing in lost families.

What is the meaning of all three?

What lays hidden beneath the walls of Kurucu's Haven?

And where did Lucas find these new treasures?

The plot thickens.

I hope it's not too confusing.

Up next: We head to the island, and love joins.

Hugs, Angel
