Date: Sun, 27 Jan 2002 05:12:55 EST From: WhillieKat@aol.com Subject: you can't escape my love/you can run chapter one Well, here it is. After all the hard work it too me to get it here! I hope that you all enjoy! There aren't enough Josh-Just stories out there. And the ones that are - haven't been up-dated in ages! Aaron!! Anyway, I wanted to tell everyone to go and read JC's Hitchhiker! It is sooooooo good! I mean, I usually am not the one who likes stories where band members date outside the band. But, damn! That one is the bomb! Plus all the others! Something Like Justin is a good read too, after you read it you kinda dwell on it because there is no telling what is gonna happen next - is Justin gay or not? LOL! Disclaimer- Although I smoke, as does Justin in this story, I am not trying to send the message that everyone should! I have no idea about as to whether or not N'Sync is gay, although hopes lean to maybe! LOL! I mean, us boys have to have something to dream about! If you are underage, then don't get caught! There! I think that covers the disclaimer! Anyway, if you read this drop me a line! I would love to hear from you~ WhillieKat@aol.com As always - thanks for reading!! Rique Chapter One You can Run Justin slowly picked up his pack of Marlboro Menthol 100's, and took one. He brought it to his lips and gently inhaled as he held a liter to the end. Thinking about his life, he quietly exhaled. ** Huh, no coughing this time. I am getting good at this. ** he thought. He continued puffing away until he reached the end of it, and finally put it out. As he stood up on he balcony, where he had been sitting cross-legged in one of the "made in china" chairs. He laughed at his own joke. He had left the French doors open because the breeze was wonderful, and as he stood motionless inside the doorframe, the white sheer curtains blowing softly in a back and fourth manner, he caught a glimpse of JC lying naked on his bed. Justin noticed his smooth skin accented by the smokey moonlight. The curves of his upper body were silky, and gentle...not rigid and rock-like like most of the people he knew. JC was almost angelic, like he almost glowed as he absorbed the light. He smiled in his slumber, and flexed. Justin dared not breathe. He starred in amazement at his Best Friend, the one person he loved, and took in the whole sight. And like a computer, he stored it in his memory box marked "Joshua". Justin felt a stir in his boxers, and grabbed at the sides of his robe, about to tie the rope around his midsection, when he heard JC moan, not very loud mind you, just a soft one, almost a whimper. "Baby, I love you." JC said in a quiet voice. He froze, in anticipation. ** Was that directed toward me? I mean, since I love him and everything. ** He slowly took a step toward the bed and watched JC intensively for any kind of acknowledgement. When he saw none, he took another, and another, until he had reached the foot of the bed with Josh stretched out before him. He quivered with excitement. "I love you so much. I want to touch you." Josh moaned. Justin quickly moved to the right side of the bed and extended his hand to Josh's head. He rubbed the newly shaved cranium ** He looks really hot now that he shaved his head, I mean damn! He was sexy before! I am glad he took my advice! ** he thought. Josh moaned again. It had been a long time that Justin had stood there rubbing JC's head. And yet it seemed so short. For so long he had yearned for this very thing. Deep down he knew that the whispers that Josh had let escape were intended for him to hear, but his mind could not believe it. ** Josh loves me? That just does not seem real, how could he love me? I mean, who am I? He deserves so much better. I just don't want him to settle. I want the best that life has to offer him, and I am defiantly not the best.** Meanwhile, Josh had opened his eyes and had been listening to Justin's quiet thoughts. A single tear had fallen from his eyes and he had yet to wipe it. ** this is it ** he thought. ** I don't know how to go about it though. I love him, more than he knows, only how can I show it to him. How can I make him see? I love him touching me, and looking at me. ** JC slowly reached up and touched Justin's hand. Without even thinking he moved it, snaking it's was up his bicep. He reached Justin's shoulders and felt his way down to his pecks. Justin continued to gently massage JC's head, working his way to his neck and face. JC sat up in the bed and wrapped his arms around his waist, and kissed him ever so softly on the lips. Justin let his tongue taste JC's lower lip, while he cupped his ass in the palm of his hands. They broke lips, but only for a second. "Justin, I love you. That is all there is to it. I have wanted you for so long, and now I guess I have you if..." JC hesitated. "If what?" "Justin, will you be my boyfriend?" he said questioningly. Justin woke up from his dream in a cold sweat. His body drenched and wet all over. He turned his head in the direction of Josh's bed. He slept soundly, atop the covers wearing the silk baby blue boxers that he received from Justin for his birthday. He took the covers in his hands, moved them off his body and gently stood on the ever so creaky hotel floor. The higher your floor, the more sounds it seems to make. He tried not to make a sound, but every now and then on his way to the balcony the floor seemed to scream. Like in his dream, he had left the French doors open, and even now...the sheer white curtains tenderly swayed in the fall breeze. ** This is crazy, it is almost just like my dream.** Justin reached out his hand to make way through the lace and satin fabric that was now dancing all around him. The breeze had now turned to a more steady wind, and it felt amazingly refreshing on Justin's fever ridden body. Not a sick fever, you know that heat...the consuming fire that some call love, and when you blush, it is a fever. Central park was always a picture perfect scene in the fall, at night when the moonlight was as bright as it is now. He stepped onto the concrete terrace and watched in amazement as leaves of all colors circled around him. They seemed to glow as they swirled, landing in heaps wherever they fell. Time seemed to stand still, for Justin. And it would be forever etched in his mind and the night that he found true love. He looked across the horizon at the gigantic buildings and tall sky scrapers that were seemingly timeless structures made by the human hand. It was surreal the fact that on some of those buildings, his own face along with his other bands mates were plastered on their sides. He was in awe, after all these years of seeing them, being in them, and talking about them...he had come to the point where he appreciated them. All of the buildings were someone's creation, someone's big business deal, someone's life. And in a way, his love for Josh was like those buildings. Strong, willing to stand the test of time, beautiful, amazing, and last but not least, perfect. It was his life. And that is the way he liked it. He crept over the edge of the balcony to sit on the railing. He stared at his surroundings, never wanting to leave. He wished that it would be this way forever. He felt for his cigarettes and found the stereo remote instead. He turned toward the CD player and hit the power button. He remembered that the volume wasn't up very high, so he decided on a specific track and hit play. Jewel's newest played softly over the surround system, "Standing Still". It was a very self-finding song. Justin was able to think while it played, and put things into perspective. He looked over his shoulder and saw where he had left his cigarettes, so he reached out for them. JC woke up feeling chilled. He grasped at his robe, and feeling sure that he had left it on the bedpost, almost fell out of the bed trying to reach it. It wasn't there. ** Weird ** he thought. He glanced over at the king size bed to his right, and noticed that it was vacant. So, assuming that the room was also empty, he stood and made a break for the shower. He did make it, but not without going unnoticed by Justin, who still sat outside on the veranda. Justin looked at his watch and saw that he had been outside for almost the whole night. He quickly placed his feet on the floor of their balcony, and silently walked to his bed, which he hurriedly made, and replaced Josh's robe on the bedpost in which he found it. Taking a moment to lie in his friend's bed to smell the ever so recent sent of pure perfection. Hearing the shower running he decided to undress and step in on his love. JC heard the door open in the almost normal size bathroom. He quietly thought about how much he would cherish it if Justin would just move into the shower. ** It is not like we haven't done it before. Why am I making this such a big deal? I don't even know how I feel about him yet. I have doubts about being gay, even. Just don't push him into anything that he wouldn't do normally...JC. You can be so melodramatic sometimes.** He laughed at himself, but he also wished that this would be the day, just another ordinary day where Justin might just feel motivated to have a nice shower with his friend. "Just?" he questioned lightly. "Yeah, babe?" Justin answered cautiously. "Did'cha sleep okay last night? I know I didn't, I am sore all over." Josh stated, almost hoping that Justin would just jump in that shower and give him a massage. He laughed inwardly. Justin sensed what he had sensed last night in his dream. JC is longing for him. ** Wow, this may be easier that I at first thought. Maybe he really does love me, and maybe my dream was a premonition, or something. Or, maybe I am reading a little too much into this whole situation.** "Well, I wouldn't call it sleep, I just sat out on the balcony for the most part and thought. The scenery was wonderfully beautiful. You should have seen it." He replied thoughtfully. Thinking how satisfying it would have been to have him there. "Hey, do you like need to take a shower or something?" Josh asked, slowly. "Well, now that you ask, I guess I do...all that night air kinda got me a little refrigerated. Do you mind?" Justin hesitated. "How long have we been friends, Justin, and how many times have we taken a shower together? But, yes...I do mind!" Josh stated sarcastically. "What?" Justin asked, shocked by his friends answer. "Sike!" Josh laughed. "So hurry up, I am really cold! Well, sort of!" He replied...almost getting light headed. Justin thought a moment, and decided against the offer. He wanted nothing else in the whole world, but he also didn't want to rush into anything. Like sex outside a meaningful relationship. Justin wanted to take things slow, and he wasn't even sure if JC loved him, or was just looking for a quick flick, so to speak. "Josh, wait a minute. I don't want to rush into anything, I know what will happen if we take a shower together. I am so sorry." The young man stated sadly. JC immediately switched from his normal self, to his cover. He had been hurt so many times by other people, he was not going to let Justin do the same. Even though he wanted to be with him as much as he did. If it is not meant to be, then it isn't. ** I don't have time to sit here trying to wait on someone to make up his or her mind. I know that I love Justin, and I am pretty sure that he loves me too. But, life goes on, and sometimes you just have to be left in the dust. ** Josh thought angrily. "Justin, don't even worry about it. Next time you need to be less wishy-washy. I mean, if you want to take a shower with me, fine. If you don't then that is fine, too. But don't tell me yes then change your mind! And anyways what did you mean about rushing? I wasn't planning on rushing into anything! Were you? And since you are all the sudden so smart...tell me what would have happened if we would have gotten in here together." He said hatefully. Josh quickly turned off the shower and grabbed the towel that he had placed over the curtain rod. He stepped out of the shower as he wrapped the towel around his defined body. He glared at Justin, and quickly left, leaving Justin staring after him with the most rejected look on his face. He figured that Justin would lock himself up in the bathroom and cry for an hour. That is what Justin did. He was best at it, and even though he tried to hide his little crying sessions, Josh always knew. He read Justin like an open book, and looked through his little fronts that he always put up. That was what was interesting about him. He was never the same twice. He continually re-creates himself, and JC loved that about him. ** I don't understand why I flew off at him like that? I care for him so much, and it makes no difference about how long he waits, as long as he loves me. I would wait forever. I really messed up.** JC thought sadly. Justin slowly undressed and turned the shower on till its temperature suited him. He stepped in and pulled the curtain shut as he did. ** I don't understand. Where did all of that anger come from? I guess he isn't even like me. We are, and probably always be friends. Damn! Life is not fair. I know that no one else will come along that I will approve of. I love Josh, no one else. For me, there aren't any other fish in the sea. Matter of fact, I don't even have a sea, I have a little glass aquarium, with a single little fish in it. The opportunity doesn't just pass me by everyday, I mean I have know him for almost nine years, and this is the first run by. Who knows, since I fucked this one up...I may never get the chance again!** He thought dismally. He slowly slumped into the tub, and let the hot water rush over him, washing away his tears. With his legs pressed tightly against his chest and one arm propped up on each knee, he covered his head with his hands. Not wanting to move, he silently ignored Josh's pleas. He was lost in his own world of thought and concentration. Justin stayed in the bathroom almost the whole day, and when he finally decided to come out, it was almost six o'clock. Thinking that he was alone, he went to the closet and picked out a pair of silver track pull-apart pants and a silver wife beater. After he was dressed he started out the door, but he was stopped. "Hey, wait" Josh called after Justin. "What?" he replied bluntly. "Justin, we really need to talk. First off, I apologize about this morning! I was so hateful, and I was being a bitch. I am sorry." Josh said quickly, hoping that if Justin were to leave, he might get it all out before he got out of earshot. "Sorry for what Josh? Hurting my feelings? Making me cry? Making me doubt myself? Because that is what you did. All of those things you put me though." He replied, not wanting Josh to hear the hurt in his voice. "Baby, I am. I didn't mean anything that I said earlier, I take it all back. It makes no difference to me whether or not you want to take a shower with me. I love you." Josh said. "JC, I am not wishy-washy, for one. And in one day you may have shown me how un-stable a relationship with you might be. I mean, you through a fit because I wasn't ready to take a shower with you. I am a virgin, how are you gonna act if you are horny and I am not ready then? Will you hit me, or just not talk to me, or cheat?" Justin whispered coldly. "J, you are being way unfair." Josh alleged. "Am I, or am I just looking out for myself. JC, I love you. But I also love myself, and if this is how you really are, then I won't put myself in that sort of situation. Sorry." He shrugged as he slammed the door. JC jumped at the sudden sound of the door. He covered his face with his hands and began to cry. Slumping to the floor, he reached for his pills. He looked at the bottle - (Hydrocodone - Take one every 12 hours. As directed by Dr. Phyllis, MD) - he suddenly knew how to be happy. He stood, and headed for the kitchen where he poured himself a gracious glass of Vodka. He turned the small bottle up side down in his mouth and took a large swallow out of his glass. He sat there for a minute, and tried to count the number of pills in which he had sealed behind his beautiful lips. When he got to 27, he passed out. After slamming the door, Justin wanted to run back in there to be with JC, but decided against his better judgment. He brought his hand to his head, and tried to rub his shaven head till his headache went away. He stood still for a moment, waiting on the elevator to reach his floor. Ding Justin slowly stepped through the thick, metallic doors and when they closed he suddenly knew what a crazy person must feel like, what with being trapped behind those walls, and everything white. Sane people could probably go into one of those places and come out crazy. That is ironic, how insane asylums take in insane people, make them somewhat normal and release them into the sane world, and regular people go in and come out crazy, in theory. That is craziness in itself. Finally the doors open, none too soon for Justin, and he fled like an escaped rat out of it's cage. Not knowing what to do, he just wandered around the hotel lobby.** This is New York City, I know that there is something for me to do.** He thought. He strode around a bit more, and the he decide to go driving. And since he didn't have his own car, he would rent one. He approached the desk with a sign above it that read, Express Rental Cars. He walked toward it, but before he could reach it...he was mobbed by some pre-pubescent little girls. "Oh My god! You are like totally hot, and like I want you autograph, and can I get on for my cousin who lives in Davenport, and my best friend Suzy, and her Aunt Marge......" "Justin Timberlake, I knew the day would come when I would get to......" "Justin can I have some of your hair? Not a lot, jus enough to smell it late at night when......" "Hey, don't forget me, down here!" They were all screaming, and it was making Justin's headache worse, but like he was taught to do, he put on that million-dollar smile and signed bras and panties alike. What he didn't notice was the ambulance that had pulled up and the crew that had rushed through that doors, followed by police officers and firemen. Who, were undoubtly on their way to JC's room, but by the time that Justin was through with the fans, they were nowhere to be seen. So, he headed back over to the rental booth. "Excuse me, mam, but I would like to rent one of your sports cars, please. Preferably in blue....and a mustang, not to be picky. Just add it to my room charges." Justin said all business like. "I need you to sign here, and here. Initial here.....ahhh, yes. We have a 2002 Baby Blue Mustang Selene, and at 2,000 dollars a day, it is the best thing we have on the lot. May I please have your room number." Said the slightly stumpy older woman. "513" he stated. "Yes, Mr. Timberlake. My daughter is quite a fan, you just wait until I get home and tell her who I ran into. She will die! Oh...thank you and have a nice day." She sweetly said. "Ah, Miss. The keys?" Justin reminded her. "Oh, honey I am so sorry. Here you go, now you run along now!" She said after him, with that southern charm that Justin adored. Tbc What did you think? Don't forget the e-mails!
