CASTING CALL WITH MATT DAMON By Corey Phoenix At first it seemed like a dream come true. I had finally gotten my novel published, then; before it even hit the market; a production company optioned the movie rights and went into pre-production. What more could a first time author ask for? How about being invited to the casting auditions? That's were things went south in a hurry. It was nothing like what I had expected. There were ten of us on the casting panel, and over one week we must have seen at least six hundred actors. We managed to cast all but one part; the lead. No one was right for Jared. It was eight o'clock Friday night, and we had just finished the final audition. William, the director, leaned back in his chair and sighed. I wearily put my head on the table and rubbed the back of my neck. "What about Michael Smith?" William asked, holding up Michael's glossy. I didn't even have to look at it to know who he was. Smith was gorgeous. His looks matched how I pictured Jared, but . . . Well, remember Nathan Lane's character in "The Birdcage"? I shook my head. "Too gay." William held up some more glossies, which I shot down for various reasons. Too tall, too skinny, too muscular. Finally, William leaned back in his chair in disgust. "Let's pick someone and do a re-write to make him fit!" The door opened, but I ignored it. Re-write! I poured the last two years of my life into making this story perfect, and this hack wanted me to re-write it to make his job easier? That's what I was thinking, but all I said was "No." "I agree," a familiar voice with a Boston accent said. "This is the second best script I've ever read." Ten pairs of eyes swivelled to the door and ten jaws hit the table. There, leaning against the door and holding a copy of *my* script, was Matt Damon! He was wearing baggy, torn jeans, a tight, ripped up t-shirt and a baseball cap. "Sorry I'm late, but I had a couple of things I needed to do before I got here." William was the first to recover his composure. "No problem, Mr. Damon. We weren't aware that you were interested in auditioning for this project." My mind was racing. Matt Damon was in front of me, in the flesh, and he wanted to be in my film! There were only a couple of straight parts in it, which one was he interested in? I promised myself that which ever part he wanted, I would expand. "I just got the script last night from a friend," Matt was saying, bringing me back to where we were. "If it's not already cast . . ." "Mr. Damon," I interrupted, "none of the parts are locked yet. Which part were you interested in?" He smiled at me and I was lost. Damn my original story! I'd redo the entire thing to make his character the lead. "Please, call me Matt. I'd like to read for Jared." Oh! My! Gawd! The answer to all our problems and quiet a few of my fantasies had been solved. Still, there were a couple of points that I needed to make sure of. "Before we start, Matt, Jared's a blond. Would you have a problem dying your hair?" Once again he gave me that killer smile. Slowly, he reached up and pulled off his hat, shaking hair longer than I had ever seen him with loose. Not only was it the exact shade as Jared, but cut into the same style. Suddenly, my jeans were too tight around my crotch. "Does this answer your question?" he asked with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "Uh, yeah." I was finding it hard to breath. "All right. Next point: this is a gay movie. Jared is gay." "Well, duh. I did read the script." I blushed. "Okay. The part calls for nudity, maybe including full frontal in one scene." "I know. When Jared and Christian have the argument right before Chris has to go to Germany and Jared walks out of the bedroom without putting any clothes on." Oh, yeah. He knew the script. One more point. "It also calls for several kissing scenes." Matt laughed and shook his head. "I know. What's it going to take to convince you?" He walked over to where I was sitting, leaned over the table and planted his lips on mine. I was in heaven. Then, he slipped his tongue into my mouth, and I made the front of my boxers a sticky mess. He held us like that for a minute, then let me go. I slumped back into my chair, dazed. "Someone call the paramedics, I think he's in shock," someone to my left said and laughed. Faintly, I heard William. "At least he went with a smile on his face." I started to come back to my senses to find everyone staring at me. Matt had a wide smile on his beautiful face. "Well?" "You've got the part." I gasped out. William laughed. "Not so fast. Okay, Matt. You've convinced Corey, but I'm gonna have to see you do a scene before I give my approval." "Fair enough," Matt agreed. "How about page 218. Corey, will you read Chris's part for me?" The argument scene. I couldn't believe he had chosen that one. I opened my script and flipped to the page to re-familiarize myself with the lines. Once I was sure of my lines, I glanced at Matt. We was laying on the couch, and when he saw that I was ready, he motioned for me to come over to him. I got up and sat down on the arm of the couch, next to his head. I gave Matt his cue. He did the lines perfectly from memory. When he said his last line, I expected him to end the scene there. Instead, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me down on top of him, just like Jared did to Chris in the script. Our mouths met again and he locked me in the longest, most passionate kiss of my life. While we were kissing, his hands roamed over my back until they reached my ass. With both hands he squeezed my ass and pulled us tightly together. I could feel a huge hard-on in his jeans rubbing up against my own. Vaguely, I could hear William shouting. "Okay, you two, get a room. Matt! You've got the part. You can stop now." Slowly, Matt let me go and sat up. I sat next to him and tried to catch my breath. This was the one moment I would always remember from the filming of my first screenplay. "Okay, everyone," William stood up, "That's a wrap. Carl, let the actors know what parts they have tomorrow morning." A devilish smile crossed his face. "Don't tell anyone who got the part of Jared. I can't wait to see everyone's face when Matt walks on set the first day." There were murmurs of agreement as everyone got up and headed out the door. Matt and I were still sitting on the couch. When I started to get up, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back down. "Corey," he leaned close to me and whispered in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine, "Do you want to go out for some caramels? I'd like to get some background on Jared." I laughed at his reference to "Good Will Hunting". "How about a beer?" "Okay." He led me out the door. I expected him to go to the bar next to the commissary, which was where a lot of the actors go to unwind after a shoot. Instead, we went to the parking lot and got into his Corvette. As we drove off the movie lot, we talked about this and that, nothing important. He found out I was from Phoenix, was currently single and had seen ever single one of his movies at least twenty time apiece, including "Mystic Pizza" where he only had about five seconds of screen time. I told him how I had nearly given up on the idea of writing when my computer crashed and I lost every single word I had typed. He told me about his and Ben's struggle trying to write "GWH" while working on separate projects across the country from each other. All in all, we hit it off, just two writers sharing their hard luck stories. I barely noticed that we had turned into West Hollywood. Now, everyone's heard about San Francisco. For the uninitiated, West Hollywood is a combination of San Fran with all the weirdness of Hollywood. I began wondering why this totally hot looking actor was driving me to the Gayest Place on Earth (sorry, Walt, it fits.) "Uh, Matt? Where are we going?" He glanced sideways at me and flashed that smile again. Just when I think I got my heart back under control, he does that and it starts beating a million miles a minute again. He didn't say anything as we pulled into an underground parking garage under an apartment building. "We're here," he said as he pulled the Corvette into a numbered parking space. "You said you wanted a beer, so I thought I'd take you to my place. I rent this apartment for when I need to be close to the studios, but not be as obvious in the local community. Come on." We got out of the car and he led me to an elevator. Once inside, he pulled an electronic key from his pocket and slid it into the slot. The car started moving. I didn't say anything, I couldn't. I just wasn't this lucky. We'd get up to his apartment and I'd find out that he was a look-alike, not really Matt at all. I'd find out . . . well, I don't know what I'd find out; but this couldn't be happening. All this time, Matt just leaned against the wall and smiled. He could tell how nervous I was, but wasn't going to let me off the hook. Finally, the door opened into the biggest, most lavish apartment I had ever seen. We stepped inside and he threw his hat on the coffee table, then went into the kitchen. "Make yourself at home," he called as I heard the refrigerator opening. I wandered around the room, admiring the art on the wall. On the wall next to the couch was a fireplace. On the mantle was a golden statue and above the statue was a framed sheet of paper. Closer examination of the base of the statue revealed the words: Best Screenplay: Good Will Hunting Matt Damon and Ben Afleck and the paper turned out to be a folded card with the same words written on it. He was real! Matt came back out of the kitchen with two beers. Somewhere along the way, he had stripped off his shirt, revealing his tight, hard chest and stomach. I couldn't believe that I was standing here in Matt's apartment with him half naked. When he saw me looking at the statue, he laughed. "Yeah, I'm the real deal. I don't normally leave Oscar out, but Mike said that you'd be hard to convince, so I took it out of the safe before I left." "Uh, yeah," I stuttered. "Mike? You mean Michael Smith?" "Yeah, Mike. He helped us out a lot when Ben and I came here to sell Hunting. But I don't want to talk about Mike right now. Come here." With that, he pulled me onto the couch and we started kissing again. Slowly, he pulled my shirt out of my jeans and pulled it off, so our bare chests rubbed against each other. The heat coming off his body sent chills down my spine and his hands ran up and down my bare back. "Mike was right, " he said as he released my lips. "You are hot. Just my type." Matt's fingers undid my belt and buttons on my jeans while I did the same with his. He slipped his hand down the front of my jeans and gave me a squeeze. "I've been looking for someone like you for so long . . ." Not one to waste an opportunity, I pulled his jeans and shorts down, revealing his seven inch hard-on. It was surrounded by a dense patch of brown hair. I wrapped my hand around it and was surprised to find I could barely close my fingers around it, it was so thick. After a few strokes, he pushed my hand away and pulled off my jeans, then leaned me back on the couch. His eyes twinkled as he leaned down and took my hard-on in his mouth. God, it felt so great. Within a minute, his sexy lips were wrapped around the base of my shaft and his talented throat started doing things with the head that I had never had done before. I didn't last long. A couple of minutes of that treatment and I shot my load down his throat. He swallowed it all, then pulled off. I pulled his head up and kissed him. The taste of my cum in his mouth was so erotic. "My turn," I said and dove onto his cock. Now, friends of mine had joked that I had a big mouth before, but it was a struggle to take all of Matt in my mouth. "Oh, Corey. That's so good. Keep doing that man." Who was I to say no? Finally, I was able to take him all the way down. After about ten minutes, he pulled my head up off of him. "That felt good, but I want to fuck you." We walked back into the bedroom and laid down on the king size bed. Matt reached into the night stand and pulled out a condom and some lube. "Lay on your back." I did what he told me, and watched fascinated as he squirted some lube onto his hands. He put my legs over his shoulders and gently rubbed the cool liquid into my ass. I gasped as he first put one, then two fingers into my hole and slid them in and out. He pulled his fingers out, then lubed up his cock. "You ready for the fuck of your life, stud?" he growled seductively. "You can't believe how ready I am. Stick that dick in me, Matt." Without another word, he started rubbing the head of his cock up and down my crack, driving me crazy. Then, with one quick thrust, he was buried to the pubes. I could feel his balls slapping against my ass as he began fucking me. This was so awesome! I looked up and his face. He had his eyes closed in concentration, enjoying the feeling my ass was giving his dick. Then he opened his eyes and smiled down at me. Five minutes later, I grabbed my dick and started jerking it. "Oh, yeah. Corey. Shoot for me." "Tell me when you're close." Matt laughed. "Hell, man, I've already been holding back so you could cum. Get ready." He shot his load in my ass and I could feel the condom expanding from the size of his load. I shot off again, covering both our chests in my sticky semen. Exhausted, Matt lay on top of me as we caught our breath. "So that's what Jared felt the first time he fucked Chris." Matt said, his words muffled by my shoulder. "What do you mean? I never wrote any sex scenes for the script, just led up to them." Matt rolled over and I felt his now flaccid cock slip out of my ass. Then he snuggled up to me. "I've read your other stories about those two, Jayzee." I must have jumped, because Matt laughed again. "I surf the web. I just read your latest installment last night. When I started telling Mike about it, he handed me the script. I couldn't believe you and Jayzee were the same person, but after reading the script, I knew you were and that I had to meet you." I shook my head and kissed the top of Matt's head. "Then I guess I owe Mike my thanks. I'll have to write in a part for him in the screenplay." "You know, . . . " Matt started. I rolled over so we were face to face and let my hands wander over his perfect body. "I've been thinking about buying a house in Phoenix. Maybe we could collaborate on a screenplay." Knowing it was foolish, I had half hoped that he was going to say that we could live together. Reality check. Matt was a famous actor, what could he possibly see in me? I tried not to sound too disappointed. "About what?" "Oh, I don't know. How about the story of a struggling author who finally gets a film deal. He meets the handsome leading man and falls madly in love with him and the two of them spend the rest of their lives together?" I laughed. "I don't know. It's gonna take a lot of research, maybe years. Are you up to it?" We kissed. "With you, I'm up to anything."
