Chad woke up as the sun glistened through his bedroom window in his apartment. He moved out from his parents' house for the period of time he spent in college. It was a decision he made because of his parents' chronic meddling with his life choices. His relationship with his father was typical: he wanted Chad to pursue a career in law like he did instead of Chad's real passion, which was acting. Also, it was not just his father, it was also his mother. To avoid conflict of interest and to somewhat satisfy both his and his father's career wishes, he took courses that led him towards a degree in Entertainment Law. Though he decided to study it in college, he had no plans in taking it any further. After graduation, he planned to move to New York to pursue his chosen career. It was the final step into gaining complete independence from his parents and their restrictions. Though Chad grew up in Ohio, he knew that his childhood city would never compare to the great city of New York. His apartment had one medium-sized room and a small bedroom that barely fit a twin bed, which sat beside a window. His bed sheets and blanket were pale blue and his pillow cases were dark brown. To his left was a wooden side table that held a steel lamp and an old shoe box that held his accessories such as his watch, a ring, bracelet and a couple of necklaces which were all stainless silver. He didn't care much for the look of his apartment as it was only a temporary place to live in until he was ready to move to the big city half way through the summer. Chad got up on his bed and headed for the bathroom, which was located next to his bedroom. It was a hot summer day so he didn't bother to put on a shirt and shorts when he was asleep - he only wore boxers. He grabbed a towel from the bathroom cabinet and headed for the shower. He turned on the shower head and felt the water to make sure that the water running was not too hot or too cold. He then took off his boxers and got in. Chad wasn't too built as he was tall at six feet and two inches. He was lean. He had broad muscular shoulders, medium sized pecs and six packed abs that glistened as the water ran throughout his body. He preferred a clean look, so he often shaved his head but not to the point where he was completely bald. His skin tone was olive and slightly, naturally tanned. Though he looked great already, his best features were his muscular `v' muscle that led to his manhood. In addition, his legs were naturally and nicely toned and shaped, which looked very well together with his tight bubble butt. The great thing about his body was his long proportions - much better than those men that only cared about getting `big' and didn't care at all for proportions. Hence, he definitely looked great in photos, especially in person. He exercised daily before heading home to keep his body toned at a gym near his college, and whenever he passed by a gay strip club almost every night, he definitely turned heads. He knew what he was leaving and sacrificing to be an actor. It was a big deal because he knew that he'd have to completely stray away from his parents' wishes and leave his family completely. It was a decision that promised no success or positivity. However, he could only take the risk to completely go on an adventure that could lead to his dream coming true. - Chapter One - It has been about five months after he moved into an apartment in New York and he was almost broke. Chad never expected for independent living to be so costly, especially in a city like New York. Working as a full-time bellhop at New York's luxurious Hotel Plaza Anthenee was his only source of income as well as some savings that he had from his parents prior to moving. Having a couple of grand in his bank account was almost not enough for a couple of months. Working at the hotel was his only option, too, as he did not want to take too much time off his acting classes in which he registered in as soon as he got to the big city. His job was easy and he considered himself lucky for being able to get a job in such a prestigious place. His chosen lifestyle was definitely on a loop and because of this, he was always hoping to run into an agent at the hotel so that he could begin auditioning for an acting job. A couple of actors have already stayed at the hotel where he worked in, and he was always having good conversations with them while he brought their luggages up to their rooms, but he never had the guts to ask for help. Chad was almost ready to give up. In fact, he had already contacted his friends back in Ohio to let them know that he might be coming back sooner than expected. And like his father wanted, he was just going to pursue law school. When December hit, Hotel Plaza became busier. Exclusive guests such as fashion's Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld, Inception's Leonardo DiCaprio, former American Idol judge and X Factor US producer Simon Cowell, actresses like Anne Hathaway and public figures like Dita Von Teese were present here and there, and even more guests would be staying in the hotel when there would be a blizzard and no airplanes were flying out. Chad had postponed his trip back as he was needed in the hotel more often than before. Apart from working as a bellhop, he also branched out as a waiter in the hotel's dining hall from time to time, and for the less important people, he would also do massages when nobody else was available. Three days before Christmas, the hotel was extremely busy and was almost overbooked. Of course, a mishap was bound to happen. One night, Chad was almost done his shift and all the hotel guests have cleared the halls and everything was set for the morning when a man came in through the big entrance doorway. The guy looked like he was in his early thirties, wore a perfectly tailored navy suit with his white dress shirt's collar unbuttoned. He was texting on his cellphone as he walked to the hotel's lobby and sat down. Three men in all black suits came in after him who all carried luggages on both hands. Chad hurriedly took a golden luggage cart so that the men could put the luggages on them. As he stayed by the reception desk to wait for the room number to which he would bring the luggages in to, he overheard one of the men asking for the hotel's penthouse. Unfortunately, nothing was available that night. However, Chad soon noticed that the guy in the navy suit was a very important person as the receptionist needed to give the hotel owner's penthouse for the guy's usage. Chad was a bit surprised as nobody had ever been given that room, but he was definitely happy about the thought that he might be getting big bucks for tips that night. As Chad followed the three men in black suits in the halls, he noticed that the guy in the navy suit sat back in the lobby. He was now second guessing as to who was more powerful - the three men, or the guy in the navy suit? Before Chad and the three men got to the penthouse, one of the men got a phone call and it seemed like they were instructed to go down - or maybe leave the hotel altogether - because by the time they got to the penthouse's elevator door, Chad was the only one left. He swiped the key card and pushed the luggage cart towards the elevator as it opened. Before the elevator door closed, a hand stopped the door from closing. The elevator door soon slowly reopened revealing the guy in the navy suit. He was of great handsomeness with short, brown hair. He was also tall, even as tall as Chad. He came into the elevator and stood slightly in front Chad. "Good evening, sir" Chad said. The guy turned his head and looked at Chad. He stared at him for a moment, looked down, and looked back up subtly, and then turned away. The elevator door opened after a couple of seconds to a beautiful living room. The room seemed to have a silver and blue theme - very futuristic. The floor was white marble and the ceiling was deep black which hung white golden chandeliers. Chad brought in the luggage cart and followed the guy inside. Unfortunately, the front part of the room had steps so he had to get the luggages off the cart. "Where do you want these, sir?" Chad asked. "Put them in my bedroom" the guy in the navy suit instructed. Chad was never instructed to put the guests' luggages in the bedroom. He thought this guy was too specific. As Chad entered the master bedroom, he saw that the penthouse's theme continued inside, except it was darker and more intimate. He especially thought the wall sized windows on both sides of the room were exceptionally breathtaking. He dropped the bags down in front of the closet. As soon as he turned, the guy in the navy was half sitting on the edge of the bed with his upper body lying down. Chad was about to head out when he heard the guy asked where he was going. "I assumed that would be all for your luggages, sir. If you need more assistance, a butler and maid will be present shortly." With his hand covering his eyes and his index fingers massaging the sides of his forehead, the guy in the navy replied, "I'm a very particular, lonesome guy, and I don't like being surrounded by a lot of people." Chad figured out why he came in the hotel entrance alone, sat down, then waited until his bodyguards were gone until he proceeded upstairs. "Please value my privacy. I have spoken to your manager and he has agreed for you to be my assistant for as long as I am here." "With all due respect, sir, it's not part of my job description to look after hotel guests" Chad replied. "Then I assume, you don't need the money to pay for your rent while you audition for say, a modeling job?". The guy in the navy suit was still at rest at his previous position. "Sir, I don't understand. I wasn't looking to be a, or how did you-" "You're an extremely good looking guy, sorry if my assumptions were incorrect, but I assumed you wanted to become a model." "No, sir". "Really?.. An actor perhaps?" "Y-yes .. sir". The guy in the navy suit suddenly froze. He got up from sitting, stood up and said, "Not bad." He then walked towards the bedroom door and headed to the bar by the room's kitchen. He poured himself a glass of wine. He then walked over by the window and gazed upon the unfortunate weather outside the hotel. As Chad came out of the bedroom to head outside, the guy in the navy suit said, "I need a massage before I went to bed. It has been a long day." After Chad got out of the penthouse he hurriedly headed to the manager's office and asked what was going on. "Look, Chad, don't you know who that guy is? I thought you wanted to become an actor?" a short, chubby, man said. He was Chad's manager and the hotel's current supervisor. Every guest and employee complaint was his problem, but his main job was to filter anything unimportant for the head manager, and especially, the hotel's owner. "What? I do, but what's that got to do with me? Who is that guy?" Chad was more interested than ever. "That young fellow is the guy you want to meet! He is a very important guest. Ahh, fine. He is the most powerful man in the entertainment world. He's the equivalence of Oprah Winfrey, except, he's more low profile. But the guy is a billionaire! I hear a rumor that he's planning to buy Warner Brothers, Fox Network and Apple. Well, not Apple, but I thought that might make him sound more interesting than he already is. He currently owns the biggest agency in the entire world!" Chad was speechless. He knew what this meant. An opportunity has been laid out in front of him and maybe, just maybe, he might be able to score a representation. Though he was not a five star quality masseur, he thought that he might be able to get to know the guy, especially, the guy has asked him to serve him for his full stay at the hotel. Chad grabbed a massage table and other various equipments for massaging. But before he went back up the elevators, he went to the receptionist whom he became close friends with. Her name was Brie. There might've been a requirement that only beautiful people would be employed at Hotel Plaza Anthenee because Brie was also gorgeous and tall. She had porcelain skin and red hair with straight bangs. Though she might've passed to become a model, she had no interest in being one. She was from Toronto, Canada and she migrated because her dad was sick of a disease on his right leg that prevented him from walking. Growing up, she was very fortunate. She did not need to work and her parents supported her all the way through her path to get a masters degree in Journalism, which Chad envied from her the most. Unfortunately, because of her dad's sickness, most of their fortune had been devoted to getting medical attention for her dad. Hence, she had to move back in with her parents and contribute to the medical bills. She worked as a full time writer for the New York Post, but she thought that she could get more money by having a part time job, too. Chad admired her attitude towards everything in her life. Brie had basically put her life on hold so that she can help out and be with her parents. "You know the last guy who checked in? What's his name and how long will he be staying?" Chad asked Brie. "You know that that kind of information is confidential, Chad" Brie replied. "I know, but, here's a note from Mr. Reed. He says that I'm apparently responsible for him for the whole night because he loves his privacy and blah blah blah." After reading the note, Brie confirmed with Mr. Reed, the manager, by calling his desk, and then gave Chad the information. Chad learned that the guy in the navy suit was Lester Michaels, the current top guy in the world's biggest entertainment agency, WME Entertainment (William Morris Endeavor), and he would only be staying in the hotel overnight, the next afternoon at the latest. Because Chad was expected in the penthouse already, he was given his own keycard for cleaning and restocking purposes during Lester's stay. It was the only time that a bellhop was to be in charge in assisting a guest at Hotel Plaza which made Chad very excited, also adding the fact that it could be a start of something big. There was nobody in sight when he entered the penthouse with the massage table. Chad figured that Lester might just be changing in the bedroom or in the bathroom so he set up the massage table in a room which was used by the hotel's owner to relax and meditate. Although the main purpose of the room was to calm, it didn't fail to express a very luxurious feel. The room was big and had huge windows that ran from wall to wall. Most of the city was definitely seen from such a good location level. He lit candles and turned on calming music after he finished setting up the place. In his head, he was thinking of how he would handle conversing with this powerful agent. He was at a loss as to how he would even start so he can subtly ask for a representation at his agency. After all, Lester already mentioned that he looked good, which was, superficially, a requirement to be successful in the entertainment industry. Lester appeared at the door a few minutes after Chad set up the room. It seemed like he just came out of the shower as his hair and body was still damp. Lester proved to be worthy of a perfectly tailored suit. His naked body was slightly bigger than Chad's but it was of equal beauty. Chad was amazed by this man, mainly because of his recent gain of knowledge that this man was the real deal. Lester quietly walked towards the massaging table and generously showed his whole naked body by taking off the towel that wrapped around the lower part of his body. He then climbed onto the table and was definitely exposed. He then lied down on his stomach and put his head onto the whole that was meant to hold it. Chad felt a bit uncomfortable as this guy was very naked. He gently put a towel on Lester's butt and began massaging his lower back. "Why so quiet .. uh, what's your name again?" the agent asked. "Oh I'm sorry, sir. You can call me Chad." "Chad ...?" "Oh, it's Chad White." The next couple of minutes remained silent and was purely relaxing. Chad had many thoughts in his head, specifically composing words that he could use to ask about the man's job. He needed to be cautious as not to throw off the massage. After all, most people that were often involved in such a high profile job did not like talking about work while relaxing. So Chad decided to save the question for later on. Although, he thought to make small talk as to slowly build up a conversation so that when he asked, it wouldn't throw anything off. "I'm sorry about the weather, sir. It must be devastating to postpone a trip because of the blizzard" Chad started. The agent took long to answer as if he was just awaken from being asleep. "Ah, it is." "If you don't mind me asking, were you on your way for a vacation? To escape from this cold weather that we got here in the US?" "No. I just came from a business trip in Italy. New York is my home." Chad wondered why this man was staying at a hotel while he was in his hometown. He thought it was strange, and he wanted to ask more questions but he decided not to as the reasonings might be too personal. After massaging the man's lower back, Chad then began to massage his neck and shoulders. Suddenly, Chad felt something up his left thigh and then up to his butt. Lester was caressing him, and to Chad's surprise, he jumped back from Lester. Lester got up from the massaging table while wrapping his lower part of the body with a towel. "What ... were you doing?" Chad asked, startled. "I'm sorry, it has been a long day." "I don't think that's a good reason to be .. to be .. touching someone who's giving you service, sir." "What if I want a different type of service? After all, I did pay." Offended, Chad took all of his equipment and stormed out of the room and out of the penthouse. While in the elevator, he realized that the man must be homosexual and had more than a massage in his mind. He quickly shook off the thought, but the feel of the man around his thigh remained and it almost made him aroused. It has been a couple of weeks since he last had a sexual intercourse with anyone as he became very busy with his priorities. His last one was also a one night stand with a waitress. He never thought to being bisexual or gay as he often enjoyed having sex with ladies, but to his surprise, he almost enjoyed being caressed by a good looking man. Again, he quickly shook off the thought and pretty much just blamed it on the fact that he had not done it for awhile. As the elevator opened in the empty main floor, he noticed his friend, Brie. Being close friends with Brie, he thought to tell her about it, but he decided not to. He continued on to put away the massaging equipment and made a decision to just come back in the morning to get the massage table. Chad changed into his street clothes, put on his coat and headed home. All while thinking about what just happened. ***** The next day, Chad came into the hotel for his next shift. As expected, his schedule for the day was to assist Lester Michaels. The event of last night became clear to his mind. Though weary of the situation, he knew he needed to apologize for storming out and to let Lester know that what he did was clearly inappropriate and was against hotel regulations. He changed into his uniform and headed back up the penthouse. As the elevator door of the penthouse opened and Chad walked out, he bumped into Mr. Reed. "Oh good morning, Chad. How are things?" Mr. Reed greeted. "Everything's great, sir. Thank you for asking." "I bet it is! Here, Mr. Michaels left this for you" Mr. Reed handed Chad a big brown envelop with a sticky note on top of it that read his name. "Don't worry, everything is taken care of. We are very pleased with your performance, Chad, and we'd like you to stay here for awhile longer. However, we are also very aware of your priorities and we are sure that we will not be the ones holding you back. Take care, Chad." Chad remained ambivalent as Mr. Reed went down the elevator. He slowly opened the brown envelop and read the note that came with it: Chad, I would like to apologize for my behavior last night as it was well inappropriate. In exchange of your excellent service, I would like to offer you an opportunity that I am sure is extremely rare. Please accept my invitation for you to visit my office here in New York for a meeting. Then maybe, we can talk about business. Sincerely, Lester. Chad was speechless. He did not expect anything like this. He has been waiting for an opportunity to come for him to only ask an agent for a possibility of a representation. And here, in his hands, was a letter that may lead him to his long sought after opportunity. Reality kicked in when he realized that Mr. Michaels may have something else in mind when he wrote the letter, which included the address of the office. Worriedly, he quickly took the elevator and headed towards Brie. "You look like a guy with a very intense mission, Chad!" Brie greeted. Chad hurriedly showed Brie the letter and watched for her reaction. "Wow, Chad! I'm so happy for you! This is like, the letter that you've been waiting for!" She then went around the reception desk to hug Chad. "Should I do it?" Chad asked. "Of course! What else is there to think about?" Chad glanced at the paper, now on the reception desk. "Oh wait. What was he apologetic about?" Chad grabbed Brie's right arm and dragged her around a corner. He looked around to see if anyone was around, but it was way too early for guests to be coming out of their rooms. Chad then told Brie what had happened. "Oh my God, are you serious?" Brie exclaimed. "Keep it down, Brie! So, I don't know if he's sincere and if he would really give me the opportunity that I've been waiting for." The two were silent as they looked at each other. Then Brie finally broke the silence after a minute. "Chad, take it. Firstly, it is not everyday that a huge agent would offer you an opportunity like this. Yes, of course, I believe in your talent and you could probably gain a representation, but with all my respect for you, any representation that you gain on your own, will probably not be as big as this one." Brie continued on to say, "and secondly, he might be sincere with his apology. And I will be crushed to see you lose an huge opportunity out of false thinking." After a couple of seconds, Chad finally broke his silence. "You're right. Thanks, Brie. It'll all work out! And it's here in New York. I won't be far." The two hugged and Chad ran out of the hotel, smiling, and headed to his apartment to change his clothes. He was about to embark on a journey that was not only vague to him, but was truly a very risky one too. ***** I hope that you enjoyed the story!
