This is my first attempt at making a story that's sci-fi. I've been writing for a while, but nothing like this so bear with me please. This story will be loosely based on True Blood, with references and some appearances of characters from the show and books. I do not own these characters and as disclaimer, all rights of true blood and references to the books belong to their respective owners. Any other suggestions/ideas apart from that belong to me. Hope you guys enjoy.

Suggestions, feedback, comments of all kind are welcome. Please let me know what you guys think. Travisderon@gmail.com

I think its super cool that this website exists for people to express themselves through their writing in an atmosphere free of fear and judgment for the most part. Growing up reading these stories made it easier for me to identify and become comfortable with the idea of being a gay man. So do what you can, donate. Chapter Three- Faemily Reunion

He smiled, "Where should I begin?"

I was caught off guard. I didn't expect it to be this easy to get information out of Eric. I half expected for him to give me the run around ending in a riddle I'd have to solve on my own. So him being so forthcoming with the information I needed, made me more than skeptical of his motives. Even so, he was the only one capable of giving me the answers I needed.

"Before we go any further," I started to walk closer to him. "What do you have to gain from helping me?"

"Nothing at all."

I scoffed, "Yeah and I'm a mythical creature."

"But you are." He pointed out.

I shrugged, "How do you know that. More importantly how did Pam know that? She seemed to know what I was just by smelling me, same as you. If I didn't know any better I'd think that you've been exposed to...my kind-"

"You mean faerie?" He finished for me.

"That's what I mean! How do you know what I am? I don't even understand it much myself, yet you, a vampire, seems to know more about what I am than me. How?"

He stood up and walked towards me. He was towering over me, not menacingly, just merely looking down on me like he was trying to see something deeper.

"You're like her, but you're nothing like her. Stronger. Your smell is more alluring than hers."

He raised his hand to caress my cheek; I slightly leaned into the touch.

"Who is "her"...do you mean...Sookie?"

He simply nodded.

"Then that means she was a faerie like me?"

Again he nodded.

"But you're different." He mused.

"Different?"

He grabbed my hair and yanked my head to the side softly, as he leaned in and sniffed my neck. I shuddered slightly as I felt is tongue flick across my neck.

"Sookie didn't possess nearly as much faerie blood as you seem to have. It's literally radiating off you. That's why Pam was able to smell you so easily. That's why that vampire before attacked you. Your smell is unlike anything they've smelt before. Most of the newer vampires don't know about faeries, as they tend to avoid us and with good reason." He flicked his tongue across my neck again, eliciting another shudder from me. He released me with a smirk. I looked down at his pants to see them bulging a little more than before. My desire for Eric was unlike anything I've ever experienced before. I could feel it fighting to consume me completely. It was like every nerve in my body simultaneously exploded with tiny fireworks every time he touched me. It was intense.

He sat back down at his desk, leaving me standing in front of him.

"As you've noticed, faeries have an attraction that is hard to deny. It's like an allure to all mythical creatures, especially vampires. Faeries and vampires have had a...tumultuous past. There have been wars ragged between faeries and vampires, as well as a love story here or there. Faerie blood is magical to vampires, not only does it taste like the sun-" A look of recognition flashed on his face for a second, almost like he was reliving something. As quickly as it came, it was gone. "But it allows us to walk in the sunlight, though it's temporary. It also makes us act...drunk for lack of a better word."

I stared at him in disbelief. "So why tell me all of this? Are you planning to drain me dry, just so you can walk into the sun?"

"If I wanted to drain you dry, I would've done it the first time we met."

I tried to read his mind to see if he was telling the truth, but I couldn't. It was like darkness every time I tried. Silence was all that I could hear. In some ways it was a relief, because I could relax and not have to worry about hearing any personal thoughts. On the other hand, it just made him seem more dangerous. I couldn't hear anything, and with a vampire who knows more about me than I do, that could prove to be a problem.

"I can't read your thoughts."

He shrugged, "Sookie never could either."

"This Sookie, who was like me, how well did you know her?"

He looked down at the floor with an unreadable expression.

"Okay, forget that question. What ever happened to her?" Maybe if I found out what happened to her, I could find some way to see images from her life or something. Since we both are faeries, there's got to be some residual energy left over that I can maybe tap into somehow. It was a longshot, but still worth it.

"I don't know." He stood up and walked around me. "After the Hep V vampire threat was taken care of, Sookie severed all her ties to vampires and pursued a normal life. She married and had children. I never saw her after that. She was human mostly. I assumed she lived out her human life in its entirety."

I could tell the conversation was over after that. After all, he'd given me all the information that he was willing to share.

I stood up and walked towards him, his back was still to me. I carefully placed my hand on his shoulder and turned him around. What I saw before me was a completely different man than before. Eric looked visibly affected by what he had told me. I imagine that there's more to the story, more than he was telling me about his past with Sookie a lot more, but I wasn't going to push him on it, and I knew he wasn't going to talk more about it.

"Eric..." I turned his head so that I could look him in the eyes. "I don't know how to thank you. I know you have your reasons for helping me out...I just..." I looked down at my feet.

"Nikolai." He whispered in his rough baritone voice. It was like a melody to my ears.

What I felt for Eric terrified me, especially after what he told me about vampires and faeries. But, I wanted to feel it, whatever it was...I didn't want it to end.

"Just shut up and kiss me already!" I threw my arms around his neck and pulled his face to mine. I could see the slight smirk on his lips before I pressed mine to his.

The feeling of the tiny fireworks on my body built into a crescendo to the point where my whole body felt like it was consumed in flames. It wasn't painful, far from it; it was like reaching a level of complete and total ecstasy that one can only dream of. Kissing Eric, feeling his soft lips caress mine, the feeling of this sharp fangs nipping at my lips in a playful gesture was sending me soaring with feelings I've never experienced before.

He used his vampire speed and strength to push me back to the desk and knock down all the contents before laying me down, and crawling on top. I could feel every contour of his body as it pressed against my own. I could feel the hard flesh of his manhood pressing into mine, exciting moans of pleasure from me.

Using his speed, he sat me up and slipped my shirt over my head. He took a minute to admire my body, before pressing his lips to mine again. I could feel warmth flowing all throughout my body. It reminded me of the time the vampire attacked me, and I used my light on him. I reached my hand between Eric and I, my hand glowed with the same light and pushed outward except this time instead of blasting Eric, I pushed him slightly and he went flying back into the wall of his office. If he hadn't been a vampire, I would've worried about his safety, but I knew he was fine.

He even smirked slightly. I quickly closed the distance between us and with my glowing hand, ripped off his shirt and discarded it. Feeling this power flowing through me, only intensified my desire for Eric. I could see his fangs bearing in excitement. Before I could react, he switched positons, slamming my back into the wall. I swear I heard the sound of the wall breaking, but I felt no pain, if anything I was turned on more. He hungrily kissed my lips and lifted me off the floor. Instinctively I wrapped my legs around his waist as we kissed like to hormonal teenagers. Using his speed again, he slammed me against the opposite wall. Again I could feel it crack and break under our pressure, but I didn't care. The only thing that mattered was Eric and how much I didn't want him to stop. I threw my head back in ecstasy and moaned out. He looked at me as if asking for permission. I nodded slightly, as he leaned in and bit my neck and suckled. As he hungrily feed from me, I could feel the build up from our pleasure explode as I simultaneously released myself in my pants. It was like the feeling was intensified and prolonged. I could feel the pleasure rushing over me in waves and I became enveloped in it.

Eric broke his hold on my neck and quickly kissed me with passion, while moaning into my mouth.

Suddenly the door flung open, and in the doorway stood Pam.

"Well I guess I was wrong, the little faerie boy knows how to party." Pam stated while smirking.

"Pam." Eric sneered.

Pam seemed unaffected, "Oh please I came to see what the fuss was about. If you hadn't noticed you two are making quite the ruckus." She looked around the room, "Judging from the looks of it, it seems someone turned out to be quite the prize." She eyed me. "Eric always gets to have all the fun with faeries."

"As you can see Pam, everything is fine."

"Be that as it may," She walked into the room, "the smell that your little faerie boy is emitting due to your little fun session, is making all the vampires out there go koo koo for faerie puffs."

"I'll handle it Pam. Anything else?" Eric grumbled over his shoulder.

She just stared at me for a moment, cocking her head to the side as if she were studying me. "You're different than that other faerie girl. I like you."

I regarded her too, "Yeah well I hope you don't mind if I haven't made up my mind about how I feel about you."

She raised an eyebrow, "Color me impressed." She turned towards Eric, "I really like this one." She smirked once more in my direction, before turning to leave.

Eric turned back to me, "I think its best-"

"I get it," I interrupted. The last thing I wanted was to cause trouble at his job. "I'll go."

He released me, and I started to walk past him when he grabbed my hand. "Wait." He bit his wrist and drew blood.

I looked at his wrist and grimaced, the last thing I wanted to do was become a vampire.

He seemed to read my thoughts, "It doesn't work like that, you have to be near death to turn. Drinking my blood will heal your neck, and allow me to find you if you're ever in trouble."

"Kind of like sensing my emotions?"

He nodded, "Exactly. I'm not going to make you drink, you can deny me, but if you're ever in trouble I wouldn't be able to help you. It's your choice."

He was offering to help me in a way that went beyond just giving me information. I was sure that from what I knew about Eric, that he didn't seem like the type to offer his blood to just anyone. If it meant that he would be able to sense me, and that I would be connected to him in some way, then I was all for it. There may come the time when I would need Eric's help, so I conceded.

Slowly I leaned forward and placed my mouth on his wound and sucked his blood. His fangs popped out again, as he moaned in ecstasy. I never thought about how it would feel from his point of view to have someone sucking his blood for once, but from the look on his face he was enjoying it as much as I was.

I expected his blood to taste gross and repulsive to me, but the more I drank, the more I wanted. It was like a drug, every bit as alluring as his touch and his kiss. I had to stop before I became even more addicted to Eric than I was already becoming.

I released his wrist, and watched as it closed up in a matter of seconds as if he had never bit it before. I've never seen a vampire heal before, it was pretty cool.

He retracted his fangs and went to a closest to retrieve a new shirt since the other one had been ruined.

"I'll walk you out to your car since your smell intensified and might cause a few problems with the vampires of the club. Once you're gone, I'll make sure none of them follow you, but for your safety, you should just go straight home."

I nodded, "Straight home, got it." I wasn't planning on going anywhere else honestly.

I grabbed my shirt and slipped it over my head. Once we both were presentable, Eric opened the door and motioned for me to go first. He followed closely behind with his hand resting on the small of my back.

Pam was right, no sooner than I had walked out, all eyes were on me. The vampires in the bar all bared their fangs and looked to me like I was a fresh meat. I'd be lying I said I wasn't nervous or scared for my life, but Eric's hand on my back felt comforting. I knew that he wouldn't let anything happen to me, and Pam was loyal to him so that was two vampires I had on my side at least.

"Who's the boy?"

"What does he smell sooo good?"

"Come, let us have a bite."

"Oh please you all act like you haven't smelt a good human before." Pam scoffed. "Nothing to see here. Why don't you go back to drinking my overpriced drinks and underpriced humans before I throw you all out."

Eric smirked. "Well put Pam."

"Screw that, I have to taste that boy!" One vampire shouted out. He was a heavy guy; I've never seen a fat vampire before. He looked to be in his late 30s when he turned, balding on the top of his head, with scruff on the sides of his face. Despite his size and harmless appearance, he was still a vampire and possessed all their qualities.

Faster than I could follow, the vampire made a move towards us. Using his vampire speed, he lunged at me. Before he reached us, there was an explosion of blood as what was left of the vampire rained down from above.

Pam was standing in front of us, covered in vampire goo. She didn't look to happy.

"Now that I'm all covered in blood and ruined a perfectly good dress, is there any other fucktard that wants to fuck with me in my bar?" She glanced around, all the vampires backed up slightly. "I didn't think so."

I felt like I owed Pam a thank you, but I knew she did it more for Eric than for me so I kept quiet.

"Let's go." Eric pushed me forward slightly.

We made it out to my car thankfully without any other incident.

"As promised, I'll make sure they don't follow you but-"

"I know, go straight home. Got it." I sighed.

He opened the door for me, and motioned for me to get in. I did, and he closed the door. He leaned in and gazed at me intently. "I will see you again soon Nikolai Bennett."

I swallowed hard, while trying to resist the urge to lean forward and kiss him again. I smiled weakly, "Yeah."

I started the car and started backing up. I could see in my rearview Eric's frame as I drove off into the distance.

As I promised, I went straight home. As soon as I entered the front door, I was bombarded by my siblings' thoughts. It appeared that whatever "high" they were on from the previous night, was still in effect as I looked around the transformed house.

There were flowers, lights, and silk drapes decorating the house. I could have sworn I even saw a waterfall in the foyer...where the hell did they get a waterfall?

"Brother!" Nickola exclaimed as she rounded the corner. She was dressed in a cream silk floor length dress that had a cap that cascaded down her back and dragged on the floor behind her. Her short hair was slick and framing her face. She looked extremely radiant, almost like she was glowing.

She embraced me. I hugged back awkwardly. She embraced me harder and pressed the sides of our heads together. Suddenly she leaned back and grabbed the sides of my face, and stared intently into my eyes.

Immediately I realized what she was doing and shook off her hands. "Nikola!"

Her eyes glossed over as a euphoric look crossed her face. "My my little brother, you have been quite busy with the Vampire Eric."

I blushed brightly. "You weren't supposed to see that."

"You were broadcasting his image since you walked into the door. It wasn't until we hugged that I saw everything. I didn't even try, it just...happened."

If I was broadcasting, and Nikola read my thoughts without trying, then it seemed our powers were getting stronger somehow.

"Nikola where is Nikolette and Nikolas?"

She waved back and forth, as if she was swaying to music that only she could hear. "Listen."

I gave her a confused look. The only thing I heard was silence, at first, but suddenly there was music like some kind of string instrument, a harp maybe? Where was it coming from?

Nickola began to prance around me, draping her silk garments around me as she moved.

"You must change brother and join us!"

Before I had time to debate, I was glowing in this warm bright light. Once the light faded, I looked down at myself. My clothes had been changed. I wore the same cream silk material as Nickola, but I had pants and form fitting vest. My hair was framed in a white flower crown-like halo and flowed down my back.

Looking around the house again, it was like I was seeing it through different eyes. It seemed like we were somewhere else. The sun was shining despite it being night time, and there was a small meadow with beautiful flowers and trees with this weird glowing fruit.

"What is this place?" I asked Nickola.

She danced around me, and was soon joined by Nikolette and Nikolas who appeared in a flash of light and was dressed similar to Nikola and I.

"How did you guys...where did you come...I'm so confused..." I murmured.

"Open your mind to ours brother. We will share it all with you!" Nikola sang.

I calmed myself and did as I was told. Almost immediately I was bombarded with all these new images and sensations. I was hearing sounds, seeing images, feeling the wind and light on my skin. It was sensory overload but I felt completely in control. I could see how they traveled with their light, and how they discovered this place.

So this is what they have been doing since I've been away all day; exploring their powers.

Even though I saw it all, it still didn't explain how or why this was happening to us. I could feel their joy through the link and it stirred something in me, but at the same time I was apprehensive about what this all meant for us, especially after talking to Eric.

I hadn't even told them about all of that. I tried to use the link to let them see everything from my conversation with Eric...well not everything. I left out the non PG13 material.

I could see on their faces that they were seeing and understanding the images that I was sharing. It began to dawn on them what being a faerie means for us.

"Why did he help you with this? What did you give to him in return?" Nikolas questioned. He would be the one to bring that up.

"I don't know that he has a hidden agenda, but I'm not stupid. I don't trust him one hundred percent. What I do know is that he offered to help, and he did!"

Nikolette spoke up, "Nikolas calm down, I'm just as apprehensive about the vampire as you little brother, but Nikolai is right, he has been forthcoming with valuable information that has served us well. Besides, Nikolai hasn't informed Eric that he has brothers and sisters, so we are safe at the moment."

"And I never would. He found out about me by accident. There's no reason for him to know about you all, and I wouldn't put you in that kind of danger."

Nikola placed her hands on Nikolas' shoulders, "Be at peace little brother."

Nikolas visibly relaxed.

"What is this place?" I looked around again.

"We don't know." Nikola responded, "We were dancing around the house enjoying the freedom of our light after last night, and suddenly we were all glowing and we blinked and we were here."

"Then we had the urge to go back home, and the same thing happened. It's like magic." Nikolette held out her hand and it glowed with light, "And we can move freely between this world and our own."

"Yeah but-" I stopped midsentence. It was brief, but I could have sworn I felt someone else's mind. "Did you feel that?"

They all nodded.

"We aren't alone here."

Nikolette grabbed Nikolas and I and pushed us behind her with Nikola.

"Stay behind me. Whatever it is, it's coming from right in front of us."

We all focused our powers in the area, but whatever it was, was blocking all four of us at the same time. It was powerful and it scared me. I knew that it couldn't be a vampire, because we wouldn't be able to sense it, and it couldn't get here...wherever "here" is.

"We know you're there, so you might as well show yourself asshole!" Nikolas shouted out. I gave him a look.

Suddenly a light flashed in front of us, almost blinding us. Slowly it faded to form the figure of a man that we all recognized and hadn't seen in years. We all came from behind Nikolette to stand next to her, our eyes wide in shock.

There was no way that he could be here.

He smiled, "Come now Nikolas, that's no way to speak to your father."

So that's chapter 3. Sorry it took so long to get out. Originally the chapter was way longer, but I felt it was kind of overkill so I left some stuff out for the following chapters and decided that this would be a good stopping point for chapter 3. I hope you all are still rocking with me and keep reading and emailing me (travisderon@gmail.com). I like hearing from you all no matter what. The story is going to get a lot darker, and for those who didn't get their fill from the Eric/Nikolai scene, there will be more to come and more sex at some point. After all what's a TB spin off without sex? J Thanks for reading!
