Nor do I have any knowledge as to their sexual orientations. So, that said. Enjoy! ____________________________________ "Never thought you'd make me perspire. Never thought I'd do you the same. Never thought I'd fill with desire. Never thought I'd feel so ashamed. Me and the dragon can chase all the pain away. So before I end my day, remember.. My sweet prince you are the one" ____________________________________ I had never really been very good at talking to people, so this was indeed a first for me. Talking just felt so... Natural around Chester. It was an almost unnerving sensation, really... To have been so closed off to everyone for so long, and then suddenly being so comfortable around a complete stranger. We'd only been sitting down for about ten minutes, he with a burger and fries, and me with... Well, nothing. I didn't feel like eating. To my great dismay, it turned out that Chester was married, and that his wife was pregnant. I knew right then and there that I hated that bitch he was married to. "Y'know.." Chester said from behind a half-eaten hamburger that was held up before him "I still don't know your name." "Oh. My name's Scott.." I replied quickly. i hate my name, and it showed as my gaze was dropped to look down at the laminate surface of the table we sat at. "That's a cool name," "Cool? Hardly. I hate it." "Try being named Chester," He said with a smirk.. "Personally, I like that name" In all honesty, I liked a whole lot more than just his name. But he didn't need to know that, now did he? "Well, then you're pretty damn weird." Chester half-laughed as he said it. He put what was left of his food down onto the paper it had come wrapped in, and crumpled it up. It was dropped onto a corner of the brown tray that he'd received. "Hey, Scott.. I gotta get goin'. I've got a show tonight" Chester said, standing up. I got up as well, my heart having sunk at the news that he was going already. But then.. " Say.. Howsabout you come to see us at our show tonight?" By now he was pulling out both a pass and a ticket to the concert, holding it out in offering. Brows were raised in a questioning manner that was to die for, and I just nodded and took the two from his hand. "Sure. That sounds great." I nodded, trying not to look overly enthusiastic. Chester smiled (And I almost melted), and told me what time and where it would be, and all the other little things I'd need to know. I honestly couldn't wait. [ Moving on! ] At around 6:30, I arrived where I was told to, and made my way backstage. I was a little early, I knew.. So I figured I'd stay in one place for now. I hadn't changed my clothes; didn't want to look too enthusiastic about coming, after all. So there I was, arms folded across a mesh-clad chest, one combat- boot laden foot perched against the wall with a bending of the knee. Head tilted backwards so that I was looking blankly upwards. I was pretty much zoning out, when a rather... Annoying voice brought my attention back downwards. "..Are you Scott?" She asked, peering at me stupidly. "Yea, I am. Why?" My arms dropped from my chest, falling to my sides as I stood upright once more, pushing myself off of the wall. "Oh.. I'm Chester's wife. He told me to go look for you.." She said, matter-of-factly. "Are you, now?" I grinned lightly, tilting my head backwards and cracking my neck almost silently. You bitch, I cursed her in my thoughts. "Ya.. My name's Samantha," She smiled a genuinely sweet smile. It was a strange feeling, I had... I despised the woman for being married for the guy I wanted to screw senseless, but at the same time... She was so damned nice. It kind-of sucked that I couldn't just tell her to choke and die. So I figured I'd just be nice, as well. "Nice to meet ya'," I nodded lightly, with a half smile that wasn't entirely fake. As said, I adapted to situations rather easily. She giggled softly, and then began talking "Chester's been all excited that you were coming," She nodded in confirmation, while I felt myself blushing. "I can't see why.." I smirked and shrugged, trying not to let on that I was almost flattered. Even though I knew Chester was hopelessly straight, hopelessly married, and... Damn you, Samantha. Damn you straight to hell. "All right, well, I'm gonna go see my husband before the show starts. I'll talk to you later" She smiled again, while I pictured myself choking her for mentioning 'husband' to me. It was like she knew. "Okay. 'Later," And she was gone. I went back to zoning out, though it couldn't have been for long. In what seemed like a few minutes, those who I presumed were the rest of the band walked by, followed by Chester, who simply cocked his head upwards in a way of saying ''Hello''. I didn't do anything, because I was strictly against any sort of body-language. At least... When it was in a non sexual context. Then came Samantha, who ran up behind Chester and kissed his cheek, saying something to him that I preferred to pay no attention whatsoever to. I noticed her heading towards me, to which I grimaced inwardly. I didn't want to talk to anyone, right now. I would've been much happier just oogling over Chester. ______________________________ All right, I know. Still no action. But I've got something really good in the works, fear not. But! I need suggestions. How do I get rid of Samantha? E-mail me with your suggestions. Watchitcrumbie@aol.com As always, your comments are more than welcome. 'Later!
