Chapter 12: The Sweet Escape It had been a few weeks since Dean had come for me and I was offically sure that my chance to kick Andrew's ass had passed. I was anxious to get out of the house, making me investigate creepy things. I had seen all types of things, but now I had my sights on two local vampires. The vampires in question were not as big or muscular, but they were old. Maybe one to two hundred years old. They were a married couple, married for all eternity. Must have been hell! I walked through the cemetary, my pumas clunking against the the hard ground, and I shined my flashlight into the night, trying to avoid traps. I stopped at one crypt, noticing a dim light shine from it and I grabbed a cross from my messenger bag. I adjusted my jacket and sat my bag against the ground, pulling out what I need. I snuck into the crypt, shining the light into the distance. " Hello?" I said into the dark crypt, " Any weird or unusual things? Come on! I need to kill something." I pouted. I kept my stride, making it halfway in before the door slammed shut! I turned quickly to see a vampire grinning at me, " Finally, I am a guess, rudeness." I smirked. Just then I heard something move and pulled another cross from my jacket and aimed it on the other side of me, and in the face of the other vampire. " A hunter?" the male growled, " This is going to be fun." " Ya think?" I said cockily. " Not the fighting. The part where we rip you up and bathe in your blood." the female smiled. I chuckled to myself, " I bet you sweet talk all the boys." I said, " Why couldn't you be like the vampires that eat cows? Now they are good dead things." I said, causing them to hiss at me. The female spun around and kicked me so hard that I flew backwards through the crypt door! I sat up and saw them smiling at me, " That felt like my last relationship." I chuckled and rose to my feet, " Me fallin on my ass and all." I said, noticing that one of them had vanished. The woman had disappeared and I rolled out of the way just in time to avoid her fist, then I continued to roll to my bag. I immediately grabbed holy water, but one of them caught my foot! I looked back to see the female vampire pulling my leg, so I kicked her with the other leg, then threw the holy water in her face, causing her to scream in agony. I took the opprotunity to grab a crossbow from my bag and I aimed it at the female, but before I could shoot, the male vampire kicked me and I dropped it! He threw me to the ground and leaned into my neck, but he stopped when a gunshot echoed through him. He disentegrated and looked up to see Dean and Sam, " Oh shit!" I groaned. The female vampire ran at them but I chucked a bottle of holy water straight into her throat and she disentegrated! I looked at them bitterly and Dean smiled, " Come on, you know you're happy to see me!" he joked, then Sam jabbed him in the ribs, " Us." he corrected. " Yeah, I'm in heaven." I said, walking past them. I walked back home, which was about four blocks, without saying a word to either guy. Inside, I was happy to see them, but there was also the worry that came with seeing them. As we stood in front of my house, I noticed they had parked in the driveway. Must have givenn the neighbors quite a bit to talk about. " So, what? You're not gonna talk to us?" Dean asked angrily. I shook my head, " What's to talk about?" I asked. " You left your backpack." Sam said out of nowhere " I know. It was empty." I said, rolling my eyes, " I have more of them." then I gestured to the closet full of them. Dean cleared his throat and Sam looked as if he was supposed to say something, " I'm sorr..." he started. " If you say 'I'm sorry'," I interrupted, " I'll knock your teeth down your throat." I said, not kidding one bit. " So, you're not gonna let me apologize?" Sam asked impatiently. " Could you be any more rehearsed?" I asked, " And why apologize?" " Because." he said, pausing, " Maybe you were right. Look, something's happening and we need to..." " Winchester men." I said, causing both men to look at me, " Always dictating. I thought it was sexy at first, but now it's a bit annoying." I frowned. Dean scoffed, " Wow, don't censor yourself." he joked, " Sam's right. We need to get out." " Wow, when did you turn into a bitch?" I asked. Dean's eyes shot open, " That mouth has a mind of its own, doesn't it?" he said indifferently. " Look, that doesn't change the fact that something big and evil is coming." Sam intervened. " Big evil, huh? What can be so scary? I mean, I've been to high school and I must say that it's hell." I said, walking to the kitchen, " You think in hell I'll have, like, eternal high school?" " Who said you were going to hell?" Sam asked. " Who said I wasn't?" I asked, " and where in the hell have you two bitches been anyways?" I asked sourly. " Finding things out...apparently I'm some kind of...thing." Sam said dejectedly. " Boo hoo, poor me, I see the future and the sides of good and evil are trying to recruit me, whatever do I do?" I smiled, mocking him. " This is serious." Sam said angrily. " Wait...is the world gonna end? I should post that on Myspace." I smirked. " I might have to kill Sam!" Dean shouted, causing bot Sam and I to jump. There was an awkward pause and I happily broke it, " Could be worse. We could replay our whole love triangle out again." I said, trying to make them crack a smile. " What's with you?" Dean asked, " This new attitude is...it's..." he said, searching for the words. " Unexpected." sam said, " Dean, can you leave us alone?" he asked. " So one of you could kill the other, a.k.a Sam? Not a chance." Dean said, sitting on a stool next to the counter. I pointed to the door, " Sam, come on." I said, walking out, Sam right behind me. I walked to the couch and slid down. Sam sat across from me and I rolled my eyes and sighed, " So, what? You want to apologize for the heartbreaking?" I asked. " To be honest, you weren't as innocent in this as you would like to think." he said harshly. I frowned, " I told you. If it wasn't for me telling you, you wouldn't have known! I was honest about a kiss that was in the heat of the moment when he thought he was going to die." I said angrily, " And I left." " You left. You ran away. What is this really about? I mean you left. I didn't make you." he said impatiently. I sighed in frustration, " YOU LET ME! You didn't come after me or anything." I said finally, causing him to look at me regretfully, " I wanted you to say that you loved me above everything else and that we could work it out." " So you left and I was supposed to come and get you. I love you and you know it, but we don't have time for all this! An army is rising and we have little time." he said urgently. " You love me?" I asked. " Do you love me?" Sam asked. " What does that have to do with anything?" I asked, shifting in my chair. " Do you love me?" he asked. "Yes." I smiled, "Sam, I'm scared." I said, letting it slip. " Really?" he asked. " Yeah, but I'm getting over it." I said, shifting back into my cocky tone. " Are you coming with us?" he asked. " I have one more thing to do, but I'll meet up with you and Dean in the morning...I had a vision." I frowned, " Dean, locked in a bank with...things. The guy, he's not bad...be careful." I said, watching him enter the kitchen, " And." I said, watching him stop, " You're gonna get laid." I said sadly. " Did you need a vision for that?" he smiled at me. I looked away from him, " Not by me." I said, not meeting his eyes again. He knew what it meant, but he said nothing, he just left. I let out a sigh of relief and headed upstairs to my room to prepare for Andrew. It was six thirty in the morning when Andrew twisted the door knob and entered the house, realizing something was wrong. He'd seen the Winchesters leave and knew there was a chance to pull of his plan, this would be the time. He snuck around the living room and stopped at a wire at his feet. He chuckled at its simplicity and turned to the stairs and climbed them, two at a time, dodging paint cans being thrown. " I'm a vampire, do you honetly think a paint can'll kill me? I'm..." Andrew gloated, catching my foot in his mouth. " So dead." I answered, kicking him again, knocking him down the stairs! He rolled down and slammed against the wall, turning red in the face. " That could've killed me...again." Andrew said, wagging his finger, " Not cool!" I smirked, " Really? I thought it was a ten. You need to work on your dismount, looked like it hurt." I said, descending the stairs. " Your traps aren't working." he smiled. " Who said they were traps? More like lessons. I'm not stupid enough to think I can kill you, hell, I'd be lucky to dent you, but guess what I learned." I said quickly, " I'm all for teaching." I said, punching him in the chest, then kicking him in the balls, " First lesson, don't play fair." I said, kneeing him in the face, " Second rule, use what you have to kick someone's ass." I said, reaching into my pocket and pulling out a stake. The stake was laced with holy water and I jammed it into his ribs, " Last." I said, lowering to meet his face, " Never go for the kill when you can go for the hurt. Here endeth the lesson." I said, snapping the cord and setting the timer. I looked outside and noticed that sunlight had begun to creep upon us. I smiled for the first time and headed to the door, " Already missin you." I said, walking out of the house and hopping into the Impala. " What happened?" Sam asked, looking at the opened door. I smiled and looked at my stuff in the seat next to me, " Thanks for gettin my stuff. You wanna drive?" I smirked. " What're you talkin about?" Dean said, twisting the keys and starting the engine. As the car started, the house blew up and the boys jumped, but I didn't. I looked around, " It's not the place I grew up." I said, tapping Dean's seat, " Can we go before the police get here?" I asked. He nodded and skidded off as the neighborhood stared at the house in awe. I stared back in horror. That house was the last link to anything I was or hoped to be. I blew up my past. I looked forward at Sam and Dean, who seemed to have glued their eyes to me, but I just smirked and asked, " So, where are we going?" Hope you liked it, if you did, tell me.
