Supernatural: Outer Beings

"I don't know who you are, but I'm seriously not in the mood." Chalis growled, levitating a bit off the ground.

The man just kept walking towards him in the hotel room, which was littered with broken glass and shards.

"Who are you?" I asked, "What are you?"

"I'm the one who brought Dean back."

Chapter 30: He's back

24 hours earlier...

Sam and I stared at each other, unsure of what to say. He didn't look all that different, but I knew that the looks of things weren't all they seemed.

"You're silent, this is a change." Sam joked.

"I missed you so much." I said, "I was so worried."

"I was half expecting you to be mad again." Sam said.

I frowned, "You're breaking my heart." I said.

"Chalis..."

"No, you need to hear this...I love you and you keep disappearing and I keep thinking you're dead and..."

Sam put his hand on mine, "It's not easy, I don't know what you expect me to do." He said.

"I need you to let me in." I said, "I know you're doing dangerous things..."

"How..."

"I just do." I said, looking around, "I'm exploring this whole part of my life that you don't know about, that you can't know about and I can't help but think you're doing the same thing."

"There's nothing to share." Sam said coldly, taking his hand back.

"I can feel it, you've been up to something." I said.

"Why do you always have to know everything? Can't you just be..."

"Oblivious?" I asked.

"Can I finish my own sentences?" Sam asked.

"Whoever you're becoming, I don't like him." I said.

"You said you had information about Dean." Sam said.

"I did a spell." I said.

Sam looked at me angrily, "What kind of spell?" he asked.

"I astral projected." I said, "To Hell."

Sam sat up in his chair, "You did what?" Sam asked, "Do you know how dangerous that is? That's stupid!"

"And you've been doing something smarter?" I asked.

"I didn't astral project to Hell!" Sam said.

"I saw him." I said, "He screamed."

"Shut up!" Sam stood, "You..."

I sighed, "He screamed. You can yell and scream at me all you want, but I swear on everything that I love that I'm getting Dean out of that...Hell hole!" I said, standing and leaving.

"I'll be in Illinois." Sam called out.

I lifted my hand and gave him the finger.

-

"Dude, you're seriously spacin if you think Led Zeplin's cooler." Martin said.

"Tupac's the best, then Led, then Bob." John said.

"Okay, now I know you're delusional." Martin said quickly.

I walked in and slammed the door, not bothering to say hit to either guy.

"You're thing with Sam didn't go good, huh?" John asked.

I looked at him angrily, "Of all the...he's such a...Why is he like that?" I asked.

"He's in mourning." Martin said.

"You don't even know him!" I frowned, "He's...a jerk."

"It's only been four months." John said, "Give him time."

"Something big is about to happen, I can feel it." I said, "And we don't have time for this."

"What is it? A vision?" Martin asked.

"I'm not Phoebe!" I growled.

"You do have visions." John said.

"Duh!" I said, "Look, I'm going in the next room...first person to come gets a shrunken head."

"Is he serious?" Martin asked.

"Yeah." John said.

I went into the room and closed the door. My anger was at its boiling point and I sat down in a circle I had made. I closed my eyes and began to try and feel anything new in the world, any minute little thing. Something was happening. Dean. In a box. I felt him, I felt his spirit right before I felt something really bad hit me. I screamed in pain.

"Little boy, playing with forces you don't comprehend." A voice said, "What say you?"

"Suck it!" I groaned.

I felt my body surge with energy, then stop. The energy was pure evil. I could feel it spread through my body and I quivered as I heard the knocks on the door. There was banging and a crack as Martin and John crashed into my room.

"What's wrong with his eyes?" Martin asked.

John didn't hesitate to stomp away the sand that made the circle, then bend down and take my head in his hands, "Chalis!" he yelled.

I could hear him, but I didn't say a word. The power was overwhelming and my mind raced with the images I had just witnessed, "Dean." I mumbled.

"What about Dean?" John asked.

"He's back." I said.

"From Hell?" Martin asked.

I tried to stand, but almost fell, "Something..." I said, "The psychic energy...something wants me to see it."

"Why?" John asked, "Wait, so, Dean got out of Hell?"

"That is so cool." Martin said.

"Coolas...ty..." I mumbled, "Something in my head."

"Is he okay?" Martin asked.

"I don't know." John said, turning back to me, "Chalis."

"All the voices, they're saying something..." I said, "A name."

Martin (So, Dean's alive? How fucking awesome!)

"Yes, he's alive, can we move past it?" I asked.

"Huh?" They both said.

"Martin's fascination with Dean coming back." I said, "He just said it."

"I just thought it." Martin said.

"We need to get you somewhere." John said.

"We have to go to Illinois." I frowned, "Dean's grave."

§

I stood in front of Dean's grave, in shock at the whole.

"He dug himself out." John said.

"You...how'd you know?" Martin asked.

Suddenly, there was a voice in my head. Someone was looking for the name, the Coolio demon guy. A woman was looking for the demon.

"What is it?" John asked.

"You can't hear it." I said, "Somebody's looking for the demon."

"What demon?" Martin asked.

"The demon that got Dean out of Hell." I said.

"How do you know a demon did that?" John asked.

"I don't know." I said loudly, "It's like a little buzzing, a little...I just know."

"Ever since yesterday, you've been a little out of it." John said, "Maybe you just need to rest."

"Oh God." I said.

"What?" John asked.

"That poor woman." I said, "Her eyes...she...Remind me not to invoke that demon."

"What?" Martin asked.

"A woman's eyes just got toasted." I said, "Hell of a sight."

"Are you serious?" John asked, "You sound like it doesn't even shock you."

"She messed with the dark arts." I said, "She knew what she was in for."

"Are you hearing yourself?" John asked.

"We have to go." I said.

"Where?" Martin asked.

"The Hospital." I said.

§

"Who are you?" The blind woman asked.

"You tried to invoke him." I said.

"I tried to see him." The woman said.

"Dean is alive, isn't he?" I asked.

"I've seen him." She said.

"Ironic." I said sarcastically.

"Chalis." John said.

"You are a psychic too? I can feel you." The woman said, "I have met you before."

"Yeah, you have." I smirked.

"When did you two meet?" Martin asked.

"She worked with my dad." I said, "And Bobby."

"He's with them." The woman said.

"Something big is coming." I said, "Something big and evil."

"I don't know." She said.

"I need to find them." I said.

"I don't know where they are." She said.

"I do." I said, "They...the voices."

"You can hear." The woman said.

"Hotel, not far from here." I said, "Thanks for your time, lady." I said, leaving.

§

At the tacky motel, I walked in by myself. Martin and John thought it was best to keep lookout. I was looking through all the broken glass and bent down, trying to get any kinds of psychic reading, but I stopped when I heard a crack.

"Be careful, you might cut yourself." Ruby said.

I stood and waved my hand, causing her to fly against the wall, "Where have you been? Why didn't you tell me about Dean?" I said, "I do like the new body though, how Wildfire."

"Sorry, Lilith is a bitch." Ruby said as I let her down, "And thanks. How did you know Dean's back?"

"I just do." I said, "You can't let them know I know."

"I'm supposed to be on the way to meet Sam." She said.

"Where?" I asked.

"Diner." She said, "We're probably going to talk about what brought Dean back. He probably thinks I know."

"And you don't?" I asked.

"No." Ruby said.

I moved up close to her, looking into her eyes, "Okay then." I smirked.

"Something's different about you, boss." Ruby said.

"Everything is different about me." I frowned.

Ruby looked at me uncertainly.

"You have to go." I said, "Can't be late."

"I've been helping Sam." Ruby said, "With his powers."

"It's you?" I asked.

"Yeah." Ruby said.

I tilted my head, "Please leave." I said.

Without another word, Ruby was gone.

"Are you okay?" John said, "Who you talking to?"

"Nobody." I said, feeling something a bit odd, "Wait outside."

"What?" John asked.

"Do it." I groaned. As he left, the door shut and a man stood in front of me.

"I don't know who you are, but I'm seriously not in the mood." I growled, levitating a bit off the ground.

The man just kept walking towards him in the hotel room, which was littered with broken glass and shards.

"Who are you?" I asked, "What are you?"

"I'm the one who brought Dean back." The man said.

"You're the demon, Coolio?" I asked.

"Most cannot say my name." the man said, walking directly up to me, "I am no demon. Do not fear me."

"I don't." I said, "Then what are you?" I asked.

The man smiled.

I frowned, "No." I said, "In all the years I've...why now?" I asked.

"Good things do happen." He said, disappearing.

John and Martin burst through the door.

"What happened?" John asked.

"A miracle?" I asked.

-

As Dean, Bobby, and Sam stumbled back into the destroyed hotel room, I sat in the middle of the room, crying.

"Chalis?" Bobby asked.

I stood and walked over to Dean, who looked surprised to see me. I was just as surprised as we stared at each other. I brought my fist around and punched him in the face, then left.
