Subject: College/Confusing-life/Second Chance Chapter 2

Disclaimer: This story deals with a realtionship between men and there
lives. If this offends you or you are not of age to read this then DON'T


Thanks to everyone who wrote me after the last chapter. My post are going
to be more delayed then i was hopeing. I am working more now and am in
the process of trying to get a new and better job so please bare with me.


Second Chance Chapter 2


We walked inside and met our friends who where already there waiting on us.
we where seated at a table and where all talking about things. Something
struck me as odd though. There were only 5 of us in our group and GG got a
table for six.

"GG, is someone else coming?" I ask him.

"Oh yea, inivted someone else" He said no chancantly.

"Who?"

"Just a guy that I met online" he said as his phone started ringing.
"Speaking of that is him he is waiting outside let me go get him" He got
up from the table and when outside to get his friend. I was sitting with
my back to the door and didnt' see him walking back up. The only thing
I notcied was the looks of shock on the other guys faces. I turned around
and I saw him. GG's Frined was Paite.

I got up and walked away from the table and outside and just started
walking I heard some of my frineds yelling for me but I didn't pay much
attention to them.  A few minutes later GG caught up with me.

"Babe, what the hell is wrong with you" he asked.

"I thought it was fucking obvious, what the hell do you mean inviting him?"

"I did it becuase, I am tired of seeing you misrable and withdrawn from
everyone can't you see that he still loves you and as much as you don't
want to admitt it you still love him to, but your so god damn stubborn you
won't admit it or let anyone help. That is why you havn't had a
realtionship that has lasted becuase he is the only person you would let in
and i was trying to get the friend that we lost back" GG said to me half
shouting it.

" You had no fucking right, how would you react if i brought Sam to dinner
with us, damn well knowing that you are still in love with him and would
give anything to get him back, you would act the same way. You are right I
do love him still and always will, but he doens't want me back if he did he
never would have left in the first place." I said and walked off. I ended
up walking to the park that was close the the resturnat and sat at a talbe
that no one could see me and just started bawling like a baby.  All the
emotions and feelings that I had put away came back and over took me.
Everyone was right I did want him back and would do anything for that to
happen.  After I finally stopped crying I called Lex and ask if she could
come pick me up and take me back home. A few minutes later I saw her car
pull up and I went and got in.

"Hey babe" She said

"hey" I said not looking at her so she couldn't see my face and see the
tear stains and red eyes.

"Babe, whats wrong your being to quite" She ask as we started driving.

"Nothing"

"Then why are your eyes all red and do you have tear stains down your
face. You either tell me whats wrong or we are going to keep driving until
you do." She said matter of factly

" GG, invtited Paite to have dinner with all of us tonight, and forgot to
tell me that he invited him"

"Oh , and your crying becuase, hello you have wanted Paite back ever since
the minute he broke it off"

"He had no right to do that?"

"Babe, he is sick of seeing you misrealbe and depressed, hell we all are
even your mom can see it, why not talk to him and see how it goes. Babe, i
know he loves you still and we both know why yall broke up, that two bit no
good pieice of what trash skank named Len, and if it wasn't for him yall
would still be togeather."

"I know, I am just scared of getting hurt again" I said as my cell phone
started ringing. It was a number that I didn't know.

"Hello?"

"Dustin"

"Yea, who is this"

"Promise not to hang up on me when I tell you?"

"Promise"

"Its Paite and I was wanting to know if me and you could talk, I have alot
of I need to say to you and I should have said it along time ago and
stopped being so damn stupid. There is only one thing that I am going to
say to you on the phone and that is I do miss you and have missed you since
the day I left. There is alot more but I dont' want to say it on the phone,
is there somewhre we can talk?"

A really really long slience (had to put it in for emphatis)

"Can you come by my house later?"

"Yea, you still living with the frat bois?"

"yes, how did you know where I was living?"

"A little birdy named CJ, what time is good?"

"Say about 30 minutes?"

"See you then" click

" Who was that and why do you look like your going to be sick?" Lex ask

"Paite" I said staring stright ahead

"Do you have your cigrettes with you?"

"yea why"

"Becuae, you better smoke a few before we get to your house and yes you can
smoke in the car just raise your window down?"

Well about 10 minutes later we got back to my hosue and my roommates
girlfrined was outside

"your back early"

"I will explain later but I need a big favor"

"Whats up babe?"

"can you and Shane disapper for awhile?"

"yea but can i ask why,?" She ask looking and me funny

"Paite is coming over and will be here in about 15 minutes" I said

"OooooooooooooooooKKKKK, Shane we are goign out to eat and then to the
movies and we are leaving now" She yelled into the hous at him and came and
gave me and big hug and kiss.

"good luck babe"

I went inside and cleaned up my face and strigthend up the livign room a
little bit. about 10 minutes after I went in the door bell rung.

"here goes nothing" I said outloud.

I went and opend the door and there he was. It had been over a year since I
was this close to him and my stomach did a couple flips before I said
anything.

Chapter 3 will be out soon, possbly really quick. But here is a preview of
things to come:

Chapter 3: Paite lays it all of the line....The first date in over a
year.....Cam and CJ return?
