For the first three years of high school, he pretty much floated away during the summers, going to the beach or even staying overnight at the `rents summer retreat. He loved surfing, swimming and even jogging up and down the coast. Mostly, to him, summers, the shoreline and surfing became his passion, solely because in his estimation, a guy with his chiseled looks, set on top of a surfboard and cruising a wave, it was like putting himself on a pedestal, displaying his hot bod, which in turn Jay figured all this would be a magnet for any hot guy scoping him out! Like, right after it dawned on him, liking boys more than girls, he sought after sports where he could be among guys like himself. Fortunately, he had an inclination to take up building of his bod, instead like some, allowing it to go to waste. Even though Jay looked down on guys who didn't take care of themselves, it's not that he had a loathing for them. Sometimes the attitude paid off, encouraging a guy to get himself in shape. Whenever some of his buds would put down a guy, long distance, conferring with each other, how an injustice it is for a dude to be `fat', Jay would often remark, "Ever think you could help, instead of talking malicious about him?" Always, one had to come back at Jay with, "Since when did you start loving fatso's, Jay?" Of course Jay laughed it off, but sarcastically. In reality, he felt compassion, wanting to talk to the dude, maybe talk some sense and sensibility about eating habits. Right up his alley, it was part of his course work at college, nutrition. However, instead of walking off and talking to a dude, in his estimation of having to drop quite a few pounds, to reach a stealth condition, himself a good role model, Jay took to surfing with his buds. At night though, it was a different story. Last year of high school, after their beer party on the beach, around a blazing fire, one of his buds dropped him and his surfboard off at the family summer setup of buildings, an odd shaped triangle, attached to a long rectangle, the sand its front yard. On the back side of the house, which was really the front, a driveway led to the house, one of the longer routes to a home, which would tell a passerby this family had money! Arriving, Jay's buds would often comment on the downsides of having a big brother at home on the weekends, based on the younger brother's reviews. Jay had mixed reaction where it came to his brother dropping in for a weekend. Depending on the mood his 27-year old brother was in, he could be casual, or strict. Left parentless by a catastrophe, the last big hurricane which ripped through the coast 5 years ago, Jay had to admit, it better his brother was left to his rearing, instead of an aunt and uncle, which the family had several `older' sets. He thanked his lucky stars Jared was over 21, which made it possible for him to become his legal guardian. Five years ago, Jay was 15. Now, at 20-years old and a year of college under his belt, Jay looks back on all those tribulations. Worst part of his life, which he attributes his older bro with pulling him through, was at 18, that dreadful summer when surfing the Oregon coast, out of his comfort zone, his board an obstruction. It wasn't until he woke up in the hospital 3 days later Jay realized the impact of the accident. At first, his main concern was his board. As reality set in, Jay realizes, "Hey, I can't move my legs!" Mortified, his surfing buds looked on, no words to describe their remorse. "I can't move my legs... I can't move my fuckin' legs!" Clearing the room, Jared issued a brash, "Get out," to the assemblage. Pulling the sheets up over himself, Jay looks down at his hairy legs, "Fuck, Jared, what's wrong with my legs!" The past few years had been tough for both of them, but Jared knew Jay had had as difficult time as himself, with the untimely death of their parents. Now, faced with a new tragedy, all Jared could think of doing, was hugging his brother, with words, "Everything is going to work out. You'll see. I'm here for you, Jay," he pet his brother like he was a pet dog. Why should Jay doubt his brother? True to his knowledge, Jared has been there for him, even with the responsibility of finishing up college and dealing with the family business, a chain of marine stores. When he was 15, Jay cried almost consistent with the events surrounding his parents' deaths. Since then, he had gotten himself together, after Jared set him up with a psychologist. Making such headway in pulling himself together, from once a week, to once a month, he cut his visits to his shrink's office. It wasn't until after his surfing accident, inability to get around, the psychologist making house calls, Jay realized his shrink and brother were having relations. When he informed Jared he wanted to make his home at the Fire Island beach house, his older brother was reluctant, thinking it would cause Jay to spiral backwards. So attached to the sea, the sand, the whole aura of the ocean, even though he could not always be on top of the waves, it had been Jay's choice of habitats to live within. They had the loot, so it was no imposition to renovate the shore house, making it wheelchair compatible. The only place which was not feasible to accommodate, was the loft. It had been Jay's room whenever the family came together there, his hiding place, his secret compartment away from the family and where he could sequester himself in a hidden world. Full computer access, he could surf the beautiful men websites, chat and if he felt inclined, arrange hookups with other surf dudes. The architect claimed the shape of the house put the framed in loft at risk, to add any kind of elevator structure, so everything was carted downstairs and with some modifications, the master bedroom was converted into a suite, bedroom, study and rec room. Even though Jay figured his chances of surfing again `zero', he collected surfboards for decoration. Two years later and after a year at the local college, an hour's drive from the beach home, Jay was looking forward to his summer. To put a downer in his plans, Jared stops by one afternoon, "We've got to talk, Jay." "Does this have something to do with you being home early?" Jay replies, zipping around the kitchen, getting some lunch for himself. "Oh, want a BLT?" "Sure," Jared replies, sitting at the kitchen island. While getting lunch ready, Jay says, "That's right, Jare, put on a show for me!" "How'd you know I was trying to make you hard, bro?!" He sat on a stool, but Jared was feeling the summer heat up already, taking off his dress jacket, taking his tie out of the loop, pulling it from the collar. "Slow down, will ya?" Jay laughed in between watching the bacon sizzle. "Oh, y'mean like this?" Jared slowly works the button of his shirt. "Oh damn," Jay is so disappointed, "why the fuck you have to wear a tee shirt, bro?" Laughing, Jared replies, "Why else... To tease the living shit out of you!" It helped both were gay, which panned out nicely in their early years. Born of different mothers, seven years apart, it was as if it hadn't been the case. They got along, especially after the first time the family went `camping'. For the parents, they stay in a cottage, while the boys roughed it in a tent, not far into the woods. It was one of the fun times the two had together, discovering much about being gay. Their parents had hired `Ahmed', an ecology-minded sort of man in his early thirties. Sleeping in the tent meant for a family of 5, Jay and Jared had a `room' all to themselves, the other for their gear and a place for Ahmed to sleep. It was during one of those nights Jared, lying awake in his sleeping bag next to Jay, whispers, "Is Ahmed doing what I think he's doing?" Holding his finger to his lips, Jared made Jay stay hushed as they worked their legs out of their sleeping bags. Within minutes they had crept to the canvas sheet dividing the sectioned off room and peered through a crack. Drawing in his breath all at once, Jay made a sound, which prompted Jared to put his hand over his brother's mouth! Reason for Jay's gasp of breath, there was Ahmed, as Jared predicted, hand gasped around his stiff woody, jerking off. A coat of sweat flanked his hairy bod, face crinkled up, which from Jared's knowledge, because he's been jerking his cock since early teens, Ahmed was getting close. All the time, Jared didn't take any chances, keeping a hand over Jay's mouth, but his other hand had a firm grip elsewhere! Perhaps Ahmed was stroking slowly, hurrying it up, which is why he gave little regard to making sounds, because as he came, he belted out a little tune of satisfaction, white creme erupting from his 9c and shooting all the way up to his chin! His hand was down his pants, cramping things a bit, so Jared, on his way to a hot orgasm, let go of Jay's mouth, a faint "Behave yourself," following, with the dire need to free up his stiff shaft. Of course, Jay had seen pictures of guys holding their stiff cocks, but live, it was taking on new meaning, "Oh man, you're like so `big', bro!" Too much in the throes of relieving himself of his hard shaft, especially after the display Ahmed put on, Jared couldn't hold back, shooting his load, right out onto the tent floor, gasping for air as he vocally expressed what he felt. "It look like you have fucking hot time!" No one could be more surprised than Jay. There, holding the flap up, separating the man from the boys, Ahmed stood, commenting with his British accent, which made Jay smile with laughter. More was on his mind, Jay, with intense curiosity, because he and Jared were, "Ahmed, are you gay?" Honestly, it struck Ahmed, "How could you tell I am not straight?" From then on, Jay was a little jealous because he was not the ripe old, legal age, of 18. He was also a bit angry at his brother for switching up the sleeping arrangements. Whereas he had to sleep with the kitchen set up, Jared wanted to try his first time at sleeping with a man! Back to his future, right now Jared was stripping, but also nervous about saying, "By the way, I've decided to stay at the main house..." "With my shrink?" Jay guesses. They always joked about that camping trip, when Jared first fucked a guy, "No, Ahmed, idiot!" Jared replies. "I wonder what ever happened to Ahmed?" Jay says, assembling the BLT's. "I wanted to make it painless, but there's no way of doing it..." Jared tries cushioning the blow, failing. "I know." "You know?" "Of course, Jare. What do you think, I'm an idiot? No, don't answer that. So, when are you moving out of the beach-house?" "Why does it like you're trying to get ride of me?" "I'm not, but like I think it's time we both got independent. I'm pretty much self-sufficient, except getting to and from college and... I'm kind of rusty on getting to the jon to pee in time?" "There's always..." Jared knew it taboo to go there... "I'm not having one of those fuckin' things stickin' out of my cock!" Jared smiles. Getting the message, Jay says, "Quit playing me up. When are getting the hell outta here?" "Most of what I own is already at the main house," Jared replies, stripping his dress shirt off. "Aren't you going to go all the way, bro?" Thinking they were still on the subject of him moving in with Paul, or rather Paul moving into the family mansion with him, "What?" Crunching lettuce between the bread, "Well, I'm not surprised that you've probably been all the way with Paul a dozen or more times, but in case you're wondering, I was talking about your tee shirt?" "This is not about a free strip show, bro. Have you been listening to what I've said?" "Sure I have. I also know the reason why you've been putting bags of money into the beach house, that... I guess I'll be seeing you on the weekends?" Jay knew his psych didn't work weekends, a perfect time for Paul and his brother to do their visitation thing. "No. I'll be living at the main house and visiting `some' weekends?" Jared let the subject hang, after putting it in Jay's court. Having grown dependent on his 27-year old brother and even though sometimes he wishes he had his freedom, Jay dishes out, "Who's going to do the laundry? Who's going to shop? How am I going to get around?" with final desperation, "You've always taken care of me, Jare?" Using his hands to gesture, Jared says, "It's time we've started... Moving apart, but it's not like I'm leaving you high and dry. This isn't going to come about for a couple of weeks... Until I can find someone." "Find who?" Jay wheels right around the counter and with precision butts his chair up to Jared's legs. "You've always taken care of me. Who's going to want to take care of a guy who's legs don't work?" "I don't know, Jay. Can you at least work with me here?" Instead of doing so, Jay's answer is rolling his chair right past his tee-shirted bro, over to the glass door, opens the screen and moves out onto the deck. Sitting there for a moment in reflection, Jared curses, "Fuck!" Picking up the sandwiches, grabbing 2 cans of beer, he follows Jay's lead. Out on the shaded deck, he sets the plates on a table, "C'mon. Have your lunch." "I'm not hungry." "Then why did you bother getting us lunch, idiot?" "I'm not an idiot, idiot!" Jay badgers back, a dead stare out onto the ocean. A pop-tab of a can of beer breaks his gaze. "Eat. Drink," Jared places the can of open beer in front of his brother. "Sure. You're going to get me drunk and then what's the next thing you're going to lay on me?" Jay picks up the can and starts guzzling it. Grabbing the can, Jared replies, "In moderation, bro?" "What do you care? All you want to do is run off with Paul and leave me here with some nurse." "Did I say I'm hiring a nurse?" "No," Jay finally addresses his brother, and the issues, "but it's prolly going to be some old person who asks me every afternoon," he mimics a nanny, "Tea, dear?" "You're so cynical, bro. Who helped pull you out of the rut after your mom and dad died? Who was there for you day and night after your accident? Do you think I'm going to leave you with someone who doesn't share an interest in your welfare?" "I dunno," Jay didn't honestly know his brother's mind. "Money talks and you know how the economy is. Well, for a hefty salary, someone will be caring, but I'm not leaving it to that. Anyone I... We hire, will work on a trial basis." "Oh, so you `are' allowing me to have a say in it?" "Of course," Jared says. "I'm not going to be the one living here most of the day with someone?" "Oh, they're going to be living in?" Jay starts opening up. "Depends. I don't know who the agency has available," Jared replies. "Agency?" "Uh, yeah. Paul knows of this agency who has," he almost slipped and said, `nanny', "people who house sit with other people." "I don't know," Jay again hashed it out, "you have always been there for me, Jare." Moving his chair close, Jared wove his hand in under Jay's arm, "And I still will be. Anytime, day or night, you call me and I'll be there for you." "Right here, next to me?" Jay says, facetiously. "Why would you call me, idiot, if I'm right here next to you?" Surrendering, Jay replies, "Moot point!" "All I can say is, it'll take time. Time getting someone and time to see how it all turns out." As they ate, the idea grew on Jay. Up until now, he's been cooped up in the main house, commuting through his first year of college. Now, at the summer beach-house, being remodeled to become his permanent residence, Jay says, "Okay, but I get the final say in who it's going to be?" "Agreed." "And a guy?" "Okay," Jared okays it, "but not real cute!" It made both smile, Jay reasoning, "I don't think we can be that choosy. I mean, an ugly dude can be just as trusting?" Finishing up lunch, Jared asks, "What's on for dinner tonight?" "I've been eating out of an ice chest for a week. When is the new refrigerator coming?" Jay questions his older bro. "As soon as they can find some cute deliverymen to bring it!" Jared replies. "Great," Jay doesn't refute it, "so, we're having pizza. Your treat!" "Isn't it always `my' treat?" Jared says. "Um, like you have a job and I don't?" "What happened to the allowance I've been giving you, bro?" Jay smiles, says, "Saving it for a surfboard?" "You're pathetic!" "I know," Jay says, "but maybe someday they'll get going with this stem cell research stuff and discover something for me?" They've hashed over this before, Jared saying, "Maybe I should have the architect build a room for your boards!" "Really? It wouldn't be any trouble?" The way the brothers looked at each other, could tell they were both shooting off their mouths! "Jare?" Jay had pondered over, staring into the waves. "What?" Jared prepared himself for the next `leaving' question. He was zonked off topic by, "Do you think mom or dad would have felt any different toward us, if they knew we were gay?" "Matter of fact," Jared takes a swig, "I've asked myself the same question." "And what did you come up with?" "No regrets." Taken aback, Jay asks, "What do you mean?" "It doesn't matter now. They didn't know the difference and I don't think we need to go racking our brains thinking if they would or would not have loved us the same." Again, slipping his arm into Jay's hand, "meaning, let it go?" "If you say so." Since acquiring his spinal injury, last week of high school, Jay has relied on his brother for providing the nurturing care his parents would have rendered. Accepting the answer, he says, "Aren't you hot in that shirt?" "What makes you think that?" Jared looks down upon himself, seeing the point Jay was making, his white tee shirt thoroughly soaked through. "Because, I can see your sexy bod through it?" Jay picks out on of Jared's nips peeking through the sweaty shirt, giving it a tweak! "Owch, bro!" Laughing his ass off, Jay replies, "Yeah, I know, wouldn't want to be the cause of you stiffening up, huh?" In a joking mood, coupled with the effects the beer and heat, Jared says, "If you're hinting, bro, forget it. I stopped giving you blowjobs in high school. Remember?" Instead of heartily laughing, Jay was silent for moment. Then, with sore emotion, "I wonder if a guy will ever touch me there again?" It was a touchy situation, Jared replying, "If you want, we can try?" "Not in the mood, really?" "Or too afraid to find out if you've still got it, bro?" Jared presents. Jay retorts, "Like, I can still pee, doofus?" Goofing, Jared says, "Right, like I used to find out in the middle of the night?" "I couldn't help it. How was I supposed to know how long it would take me to get out of bed and into my wheelchair and to the jon?" "Good thing `one' of us was smart enough to come up with keeping a jug next to your bed?" Again, it haunted Jay, the melancholy feeling of Jared's help, both day and night, sticking by his side in time of need, "What am I going to do without you?" he leaned over the side of his chair best he could, barely touching Jared's shoulder with the side of his head. To throw Jay off course, Jared asks, "So, the plumbing still works good, does it?" Knowing why Jared was asking, Jay was all exciting, "Be nice to find out before some hot dude in a wheelchair rolls by?" "Leave that," Jared instructed Jay, when he went to fetch their empty plates. "You're really going to do me, bro?" Jared, pushing Jay into the house, cautions, "Don't get your hopes up, just in case you can't `get it up', bro!" "I just thought of something." "What?" Jared asks, closing the screen door behind them. "Well, I didn't `just' think of it, but thought about it right now, that probably I'll never be able to fuck a guy again?" On the bright side, Jared says, "Hey, let's see if I can get you hard. From there, a guy can jackknife himself over it?" "Brilliant, Jare. See how much I'm going to miss you?" "Yeah," Jared agrees, "the brains of the family!" "Um, are we just trying out sucking or if I get big, are you going to..." "Now bro, don't push it, huh?!" A year later, Jay finally thinking about the possibilities of getting it on again with a guy, it felt so awesome, he says as Jared helps lay him out on the bed, "I think I felt something." "Really?" Jared thought immediately about Jay's legs. "No what you're thinking bro. I meant I think I felt something `between' my legs?" "Oh, because the doctor said..." Jay cuts in, "Yeah, that's the problem. He was too sissy to mention anything about sex?" "Yeah, what a shame he was straight. Would have been nice..." "Uh, could you shut up about that, idiot? We're here for me and not some cute hunk-of-a-doctor?" Jay laughs as Jared slips his hands into the shorts. "Hate to tell you this, but I don't see much happening?" Jared knelt there on the bed. "Are you going to suck me through my briefs?" "What? And work myself up for another thirst-quencher?" Jay had nothing to impair the movement of his arms, placing them behind his head, just like he did before his accident. Since then he has rarely tried making himself big, almost like he lost an interest in having sex at all. Before this time he's had blowjobs from a steady flow of 2 or 3 guys from high school. Once he gave an older football team member a blowjob, but had never had anal sex, not even as much as a finger touch him `there'. "I hope this is as good as when we were kids?" "Maybe we should try to 69?" Jay comes right back with, "Maybe you should just concentrate on keeping me hard, bro?" Jared hoped for the best. Whatever kick his brother had felt before, it wasn't showing. Holding Jay's cock up and letting it flop down, in a totally flaccid state, he says, "I'll never forget the time you made me measure us, just to see if you were bigger!" "Yeah," Jay wears a big, toothy smile. Knowing the facts, like who could forget, he rubs it in, "I forget. Which one of us were bigger?" "Shut-the-fuck-up, you know who was bigger!" Then things got serious, Jared placing both hands on the sides of the bed, outlining Jay's torso. Slowly he lowered his bod. "Hey, aren't you going to take your clothes off?" "We're doing you. Not me!" "I know, Jare, but just seeing your meat and... You know how I like a hairy man?" "Very well," Jared tosses the line back sarcastically, dismounting the bed. "Yeah, get rid of that funky tee shirt!" Jay watches, laughing when Jared can't almost pull it from sticking to his back. "Got a pair of scissors?" Jared jokes. "Got my bare hands!" Jay replies. It then startles him into recognition, "Hey, bro, you think I can get back into going to the gym?" "We're waiting on the doctor's opinion, remember?" Jared replies, unbuckling his belt, unzipping. From where his eyes were stationed, Jared's face, at the sound of the metal zipper, Jay's eyes dash downwards, "Nice package, bro." "You act like it's the first time you've seen it!" It threw a downer into Jay, him saying, "Last time we did anything was right before Memorial Day, about a year ago?" Stepping out of his pants, Jared says, "Y'know, I think it would be good if we left the past behind and got on with our futures?" "At least you've got one!" This time, not even shucking his briefs, did it jar Jay out of the funk he worked himself into. Slowly, Jared began prying balled up fists from Jay's eye sockets, "Hey, why are you being so tough on yourself?" As soon as one hand was pried loose, working on the other, Jay turned to placing it back crying out, "Go ahead. Go out and get yourself a life and forget about your loser of a brother!" Finally, taking both wrists and pinning them to the bed to the sides of Jay's ears, Jared reasons, "No one could have predicted your surfing on the west coast and having an accident. Had any of you or your buddies surfed the cove?" "No," Jay pouted. "Well then, who would've thought there were rocks right below the surface?" "I know," Jason replied quickly. After all, he's been over the accident time and again in his head, always with conclusion, "one of us had to take the fall." "And hasn't every one of your friends visited or called you since?" "Almost every week. They feel guilty it was me and not them. That's why." "No!" Jared drills it into his brother, "They called you because they care about you. You were a tight group." "You got that right," Jay sarcastically throws back at Jared, "`Were'. Right now surfing is a thing of the past for me." Not falling prey to his brother's downhill spire, "Don't you think you should move on to something else?" "Dah, my legs don't work?" Staring his bro in the eyes, Jared replies, "Like, dah, your brain stopped working too?" First Jared's heard of it, Jay says, "I hate college. I don't want to study business. Business was dad's thing. Um, can I have my arms back? At least they work... and by the way, I still have feeling in my stomach?" Jay half-cracked a smile. Looking down between, as if Jared hadn't felt the tip of his cock and low-hangers on Jay's stomach, "You're getting a nice bed of hay there, bro?" With hands free, Jay pushes on Jared's head, "And what's keeping you from licking it?" Pushing his finger into Jay's deep sinkhole, Jared says, "You mean this cave or down here?" "I think I felt something," Jay says. Thinking it a revelation, Jared tells him, "It was my hand on your cock?" "I had a feeling," Jay replies, "on account of your face isn't anywhere near it, dah?" "I guess I'll have to do something about it?" "Never mind," Jay says, covering his mushy meat with a free hand, diving right between his brother's legs. "Watch it bro, or else you're going to give me a royal hardon!" Intentionally Jay wanted to feel his brother's hanging garden of Eden on the back of his hand, meant to instill a reaction, saying, "At least one of us are!" "Look," Jared turns his right shoulder into a projectile, "move your arm." Seeing it coming, his brother's right shoulder crashing towards the bed, Jay scoots his arm out of the way, "Want my pit instead, do you?" "Like, `ewe', you know I'm not a pig like your friend, Corky?" "Corky's not my friend. None of them are. The guys from high school, they all like, up a deserted me. I only know a couple of guys from college." "Oh c'mon now, bro. Don't me that fuckin' sad luck attitude? What group of seniors would give up a barrel of loot to go to the prom, instead, renting out a section of plane space to fly," Jared gets dramatic, "all the way out to the west coast... I mean, if that's not gratitude, bro?" "Okay, okay... Cancel that last thing I said." Flicking the locks of hair from Jay's forehead, "You'll make new friends," Jared says, parking the top of his shoulder in Jay's hairy pit. "How am I supposed to fuckin' accomplish that, cooped up in this house all day, especially since you'll be spending all your sweet time with Paul? I wish I never met him!" "Never met Paul? Give me a break, Jay and stop pinning your unhappiness on him? Dammit, if it wasn't for Paul you may never have pulled out of the slump you were in?" "Okay," Jay realizes the close association and bonding between his psychologist and self, "I take that back too, but why did he have to have you for a boyfriend and not me?" "It's a professional code of ethics. I'm not his patient, but if it matters, Paul thinks the world of you," tries soothing Jay, along with rubbing his hand up and down his brother's bod, from mid chest, to treasure trail and back. "We're finished here. When are you going to order pizza?" "We're not," Jared sits up, then turns around, kneels, places his knee over Jay's bod. "We're getting out of this stuffy house and into the world." "Can't we just order out?" Jay confronts his bro, resisting being pulled out of bed. "I'll win, you know?" Relinquishing to the power of being pulled to a sit up position and sitting on the side of the bed, Jay says, "I gotta pee." Things got a little zany again, Jared telling Jay, "Put those muscled arms around my neck," he slouched down for a piggy back. "What happens if I can't hold it?" Jay says, his front cemented to Jared's back. "We should be okay as long as your shaft doesn't find a wormhole, bro!" Walking rather hastily to the jon, Jay says, "I want to stand and do it." "You miss and you're cleaning it up!" "I've gotten better at it," Jay replies, `standing' there, his brother hugging him from the back. "Hurry up though. You don't know what you're ass is doing for my pubes!" Jay could hardly go, smiling at the thought of Jared's hard luck, his cock lying right in the crack of his ass, "I think I feel something back there." "Just hurry and fuckin' go?!" Squeezing the last little big out, it always didn't work that way, "Oops!" Retracing his steps to the bedroom, Jay glued to Jared's back, "Like oh my god, don't tell me you peed on my ass?" Jared exclaims! "I can't help it. Sometimes it doesn't all come out when willed, Jare?" Setting Jay on the bed, Jared turns around to look at him, saying, "You look clean." Peering in the mirror, he couldn't see anything, but sure enough `sensed' it, "I'm taking a shower. Do you want to come?" "No. I'll only get jealous watching you jerk off." "Here, read this," Jared throws a magazine on Jay's stomach. "I'll make it quick." Quick he did, because right now Jared was no way in the mood of thinking up something hot to jerk off to. In less than five minutes he reported back, a towel wrapped around his waist. Underneath the magazine was Jay's face, snoring! % One week before Jay's surfing accident, Jake Lasko's father, who owns the Thrifty-Fil gas station, left on a fishing trip. Out of college for 2 weeks, Jake said he would have no problem finding someone to fill the gaps when he cut out for a few hours. Since his brother had hinted about him finding some responsibility in a job, Jay had no problem working at the gas station after school. A deeply religious man, Jake's father closed his station on Sundays. This day became the transition between his father's leaving and Jake taking over the family business. Monday morning, Jake didn't forget, but rather his watch stopped working correctly and after some morning surfing, realized he would not have time to rush back to the house and on to the gas station, opening at 8am for the morning crush. By misfortune though, something really terrific happened. To Jake's amazement, there was never a lull in the traffic line at the pumps. Jumping from one side to the other, he couldn't even break for lunch. He had never gotten handouts before, but some sweet lady gave him a bottle of water. Reeking of sea water, touched off by sweat, when she left the pumps, Jake took 5, using the bottled water to `shower' himself. Little did he know, out in the street, it was like cameras focused on him, droplets of water coasting down his bod, causing brakes to screech! Two businessmen offered him part of their McBurger lunch, which in mind, Jake thought an even tradeoff, a burger vs. free eye candy. When he finally did have time to at least sit, when Jay rolled around after school, "Not busy?" Just two minutes ago, Jake had time to sit, "Not busy? Not busy? While you've been in your mundane world at school, it's been a zoo here! I can't recall it ever being this busy on a Monday!" Suddenly their attention is called to the street by honking horns, cars passing through. Jay, eyeing Jake up and down, asks, "When did you have time to change?" "That's just it. You know how I get in some surfing every morning?" "Right," Jay replies, still staring up Jake's hot bod, featuring the zany pattern of his bikini suit. "I knew I had to be at the station at 8 this morning, but forgot to watch the time. If I had stopped at home to shower and change, I would never had made it in time to open. What choice did I have?" Seeing Jake in his bikini briefs, nothing else, Jay says, "I think I can see the big draw!" "Fuck you! We're not the only cheap station in town, you know?" Jake refutes. "Maybe not, but what other station in town, cheap or high tag, has a hot guy in a bikini pumping gas?" "You're crazy, dude. Go back to your mundane existence!" As he says it, a car runs over the chiming hose. To both of their amazement, it's Coach Brickman, from the high school. "Coach!" Jake greets him as the window unrolls, sticking his hand in the window to greet his former soccer mentor. "You're looking good, Lasko!" Coach says, obvious to both guys, he's checking Jake out! "Still working out, surfing every morning and night," Jake replies. Coach said a faint hello to Jay, but then, since it was his after school job, got busy filling Coach's tank. "Amazing what a year of college under your belt to do for a guy!" Alone to himself all day, it's the first time Jake feels comfortable to say, "Under my belt? How would you be meaning that coach?" It wasn't until the end of last year, at the ripe old age of 31, Coach Brickman saw fit to come out. It was either that or allow the practice of hazing guys, simple because they were gay, to continue. After his incident, many other closeted faculty came out, which most students, faculty or administration found it commonplace. It came to be, only a small minority sneered at the mass exodus out of the closet. "Not the way it sounded," Coach stole a glance to Jake's packed bikini briefs. To get him off the hook, Jake says, "Yeah, well if you did, you prolly weren't the only one. I'm going to have a rough time telling my old man how business almost doubled, when he gets back on Friday!" "Yeah," Coach throws a downer into their joy, "you're dad wasn't too thrilled about a third of the high school faculty catching `the sickness!' Hey, you ever come out to him?" "You're joking? Come out to my `almighty' father? Nah. At home it's still a mundane existence. I keep things under wraps," Jake replies, eyes never leaving the conversation to detour around the environment. Finding Coach cute as hell, Jake says, "Got an idea." "What's that?" "I hitched to the station this morning from the beach. Why don't you stick around for five minutes and give me and my board a ride home?" Jake stands there, smiling and hopeful. Listening to every single word, Jay sarcastically, but with well-meaning says, "Like, it's not the first time I've pumped gas, Jake?" After about 5 `don't forgets', instructions for Jay, Jake was on his way. With him being gone, Jay thought about stripping down to his briefs, but they weren't exactly the same type Jake had on, meant for being hidden, not like Jake's, swimming and other sporty stuff. After 6 o'clock, things got slow, just in time for the trickle of business to grind to a halt. Knowing the routine, having worked the station when Jake's dad was there, it was a cinch for Jay to lock up, jump in his second hand mustang Jared `allowed' him to purchase, drop the key in the mail slot at Jake's house and have the evening free to himself, which after dinner, it was waxing his board. With prospects of surfing the Oregon coast, Jay wanted make sure he was ready! Ready or not, when the weekend hit, Friday night when Jake's dad took a look at the bank deposits, Jake instantly became a financial wizard, raking in as much as if his father were gone for almost two weeks. With other thrift gas stations in town, going beyond the `bottom line', turned Jake into a genius. Regardless, Jake didn't take all the credit for himself. He allowed Jay to take some of the glory, which meant more than a paycheck for his surfing trip. First time away from home for a cross-country trip, Jared insisted on going, but promised to view the surfing from a distance. In fact, it was Jared who noticed Jay getting thrown off his board and not immediately surfacing. All Jay could remember afterwards, was a sharp pain to his back. He didn't even know it was Jared who reached him first, some others right after. His board, it was released and at the time, Jay was the main issue of concern. One of the other surfers, next line, had his board available to ferry Jay into shore. They carried Jay all the way up the beach, to the road, on the board. Within 5 minutes the EMT vehicle and 2 police cars had responded. Spending a month in Oregon, Jared flew back and forth twice a week, carrying on with the marine business long distance at times. It put a dent in his social life, but in the long run he was grateful because he had not seen the complications which were about to turn their worlds upside down. With high school graduation, 58 of Jay's friends gave up the money they would spend on the prom and chartered a jet flying out to visit him. Most were totally devastated, even though warned about what to expect, seeing Jay lying there, encased in medical gear to cushion his now fragile life. Even though, he was not too coherent to recognize them, they were glad they made the trip. He was well-liked in school. Athletic, Jay not only participated in soccer, weight training, running and the yearbook committee, he is credited, by his love for surfing, with initiating Coach Brickman's request to form a surfing club. Even though it was too late in the year for him, he was happy the sport would be represented in the fall. It was this sweet little remembrance which made him smile. "Hey, you awake?" Jared shook Jay's shoulder, holding the magazine above. "Huh?" "Pizza. Remember?" Jared refreshed his bro's mind. "I was just thinking about something," Jay still carried a smile on his face. "Did the scene involve Paul Wagner giving you a b.j.?" "I wish!" Jay replies. "More like, how I tried to get Coach to set up a surf club and now there is one." Kneeling at the side of the bed, like he was going to pray over his brother, Jared says, "I'm glad some of me rubbed off on you." "Oh? Like how would that go?" "You're so kind, thoughtful, caring about others and..." "That's nice," Jay interrupts. "What happened to your kind gesture about taking me out for pizza?" Nicely arguing, Jared putting the blame on Jay for falling asleep, Jay claimed it was because Jared was taking so long to jerk off in the shower, "I hope you didn't clog the drain!" % Copyright 2013 T.
