Date: Wed, 26 Sep 2001 01:09:16 EDT From: WhtWindWIf@aol.com Subject: Realtionships & Memories (Epilogue) RELATIONSHIPS & MEMORIES (Epilogue) Welcome to the last part of the story. I did promise one final thing for you. You do want to know what happened to Jason and Marcus. I'll tell you, but I'll tell you much more. I will tell you what happened to all of our characters. And thank you for reading the story. Let's start off with the basic characters: Steven: Always a great friend of Jason. He was always there when Jason needed him. He eventually got a job and was able to hold a small two-bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side of town. He discontinued boxing and instead chose other sports and was soon found by a scout who offered him a chance play major league baseball. Currently he lives in Beverly Hills... and still single. Beverly: Sweet Beverly, more perceptive than most people realized. Although she needed help with most of her classes she found her niche in organic chemistry. She excelled high above everybody else in this field and became a student teacher. That was another field she became interested in: teaching. She pursued a teaching degree in Chemistry. She married after getting her Master's Degree teaching at Berkeley University. She still keeps in touch with Jason, but never told him that she once had a crush on him. Marcus: Our lovely star of the show. Marcus and Jason, Jason and Marcus- those names will always be together. Both of them will always have each other. I want to express one thing about relationships. Not just this one, but all. Before one scratches below the surface of human life, the world would like you to believe that people live happily ever after. Can that continuous happiness ever be achieved? No. Marcus and Jason do have their rough times; they've fought in their lives, but they have always overcome their differences, no matter what. Their love never decreased, if anything it increased with each passing day. Marcus finished college and was offered a well-paying job in his field. He turned it down because he came to the realization that he didn't want to do a job that he didn't find fulfilling. It was purely by chance that he got a walk-on role in a movie. He took the job, and although the pay was little, he enjoyed it. He was discovered a few months after the movie came out and had another chance to be in a movie. Although it was a short role, it paid more, and with his good looks, he continued to be featured in movies. In many of them he was the main character, and although they weren't the best movies (none of them broke any records at the box office) Marcus had found his place. By then he decided not only to act in movies, but also to become a director; and he directed several successful movies. And what about Jason? Our hero. Our wonderful hero. He and Marcus lived together. Jason, with his wealth, bought the house that the party was held in. He redecorated most of it, but kept the master bedroom the same. Although Jason didn't have to work again, he decided to begin to write. He discovered that one of his other talents was writing. He wrote and published a few poetry books and a couple short story fiction books. Most of the books sold rather well, and one made the top ten best sellers' list. He decided to write his autobiography, which also sold well. Continue reading to the end to know how everything works out. The other characters: Stan: Do you remember Stan? Although it's true we never actually see him, it's still nice to know what happened to him. After college he married his high school sweetheart. They divorced after six months. Stan got a job in data processing and is miserable. He married again and is still unhappy, but he knows he cannot get divorced again because it would ruin him financially. (Don't you just love it when bad things happen to bad people?) Mr. Laster: Our one line professor of History class also has a short story. Harry Laster began to tire of teaching and retired. A year later he felt compelled to go to a concert featuring Matchbox 20 and became a groupie following them around the country. No one has heard from him in three years. Speculations spread saying he had a heart attack in the shower, and others give the laughable proposal that aliens resembling Elvis had abducted him. Man in the Park: The teenage attempted rapist doesn't have a great life. His parents (yes, he still lived at home) found out about his activities and he was banished. His only means of income was selling his body on the street. Eventually he was turned onto drugs and now he's fighting a losing battle. No one knows for sure what happened to him. Kenneth: Formerly Justin's lawyer, he took care of Jason's financial situation. For many years he served Jason well and his salary was twice the normal price for this type of job. Nothing much happened after he had retired. He handed over all the paperwork which had been updated and included a projected forecast of Jason's wealth. They both bade farewell and Kenneth lived the rest of his life in Northern Italy. Mark: Our clerk at the bookstore didn't have anything spectacular happen to him. He was promoted several times and eventually owned and operated the store. Perhaps the only other thing that he'll remember about his job is one day a middle-aged man trying to recapture his youth came in and after a short conversation they had a night of passionate sex. It was unlike most one-night stands either of them had. The man claimed he was a Matchbox 20 groupie. Billy Corban: Keeping with tradition he continued to terrorize gays and be the asshole he was. He was eventually arrested for beating up an innocent gay coming out of a local bar. Even prison couldn't change him, and in seven years he was back committing his hate crimes. He was thrown back in prison for an even longer sentence. (And you know what happens to guys in prison...) Nathan: Not much is known about Marcus's friend. It turned out that Nathan was once Marcus's lover. They had spent nearly a year together before they realized it wasn't working out. Secretly Nathan was trying to win back Marcus. That's when Jason appeared and knew his chances were getting narrower. That was the only reason Nathan seemed cold toward Jason. I don't want you to think he didn't mature; he eventually realized Marcus and Jason were meant to be together. Nathan found his own love, married, and they now live in Europe. Francis: Although Francis had a reputation of moving fast he did settle down with Mike (the one he was with at the party). They were an adventurous pair that always tried new things. Nathan had found a mate who had the same spirit for living life to its fullest. This would include sky diving, white water rafting, and hiking in very rough terrain. Nothing stopped them in their quest for adventure. The only downside was that they never slowed down to take time out to enjoy the stillness that life also offers. But all that matters is that they were happy. Jason and Marcus got married. It was a glorious wedding on a glorious day. Steven was Jason's best man, and Nathan was Marcus's best man. It was the happiest day of their lives and the whole day was just indescribable. All you ever need to know is Marcus will always love Jason. And Jason will always love Marcus. They were always meant to be. The End If there is anything you like to ask me about the story feel free the e-mail me at WhtWindWif@aol.com. -WhiteWolf
