......"Fuck" I said after seeing his message

I was on my way to meet with some friends. And one of them was bringing her
new boyfriend. She seemed to always do this too.  Every time we got
together she showed up with someone new. Like to show him off or
something. And I hated that. I was tempted to flake on them. And now
especially since Monkie was here in my neck of the woods.
