Chapter 23: Hangin' out

“You want to come over my house, after school?” Asked Jamie.

I looked at him, raising an eyebrow, “After school?”

Jamie giggled, before glancing about, “Not for
that.” He whispered.

I faced the whiteboard and let out a loud sigh, causing him to giggle again.

It was the following day at school, and the time had just passed 2:45, indicating that we had about a half-hour left until we were free. The lesson itself wasn’t anything too strenuous, so we had a nice and easy afternoon.

“I know.” He began, lowering his voice, “It’s what I want too.”

I nodded, scribbling down something that the teacher wrote on the board.

I felt Jamie tap me lightly, “We could always try your house...”

I turned to him straight away, giving him this look that made him blush lightly.

“What?”

I shook my head, “Just the way you’re...
scheming to get me into bed.” I teased.

He blushed again, “I’m not...” He lowered his voice, “
Scheming.”

“Uh huh, try talking your way out of this one, Keller.” I joked.

He gave me a sideways glance, “I love how you’re making out that
I’M the one who ‘needs’ you.”

I smiled, playing along, “Because you do.”

He licked his lips, “We’ll see.”

*

What are you doing?” I asked, feeling the blood rush to my cheeks.

I was standing in Jamie’s bedroom after school. As usual, I had gone back with Jamie so he could get changed, before we met up with the guys later on. Sam was over at one of her friends’ houses, but Jamie’s parents were at home, removing any chance for us to be together. I could manage that, and then Jamie started to strip out of his clothes, but it was when he removed his boxers did I find it hard to think of anything else.

He shrugged, “I feel like changing my underwear.”

I stared at his nude form, his perfect erection jutting out from his groin. It was almost calling out to me, begging me to touch it, to hold it, to...I forced my eyes to look up at his face. From his expression I instantly knew what he was trying to do. “You’re such a tease.” I called out, pretending not to be bothered.

He shrugged again, before he walked across the room, over to his drawers. I watched as he bent over, pulling the draw open to retrieve some boxers. My own budding erection throbbed in my trousers at the sight. My cheeks flushed again from staring at his sexy ass, but my view was obscured once he picked a pair of boxers, stood up, and faced me. I noticed him glancing at my tented groin, as he headed over.

“Oops.” He remarked, as he ‘dropped’ his boxers on the floor, metres from me. He faced away from me and bent over again to pick them up.

I always rolled my eyes in the movies, whenever the women would bend over, flashing their behind, but it was no laughing matter when Jamie was the one bending over again. He turned around, flexed his dick at me. I stood up. “Fine. You win.” I said, as I walked towards him.

He giggled, “No...No, that isn’t how it works.” He began, walking backwards.

“Sure it is. You win, ok?”

He shook his head, “No, you said I need you.”

I sighed, giving him my best, ‘I need you’ look.

“And that isn’t going to help you either.”

I reached out, placing one hand on his warm shoulder, “Jamie...” I all but whined.

“Nope.”

I sighed again, looking down at his erection, “I could help you out with that, you know.” I said softly.

He flicked his head towards his computer, “I got some good bookmarks that I’ll...look at later.” He smiled, “Perhaps I’ll send you the good ones when I’ve...finished.”

My head shot up, looking at him, “I can’t...do that...not with Connor there!”

“And that’s my problem...how?” He teased.

I opened my mouth to reply, but was interrupted.

“Jamie!” Came Noah’s voice downstairs, causing us both to jump.

“Yeah, Dad!” He shouted back towards the door.

“We’re gonna head over to Aunt Kelly’s house. You good staying here, or do you want to come!?”

Jamie walked over to the door, unlocking it and opening it slightly, “I’m staying!” He shouted down.

“Ok, we will be back for dinner, see you later. Bye Matt.”

“Yeah. See you guys later.” He replied.

“Bye!” I shouted back, as I shared a look with Jamie, before he closed and locked the door.

I heard the front door close downstairs, so I headed over to Jamie’s window, careful to only pull up one of the blinds, not wanting the whole world to see a naked Jamie. I looked out of the window, watching as Jamie’s parents entered the car, before it pulled out of the driveway, “Oh, how the tables have turned in my favour.” I remarked in my posh accent, before I turned around, looking at Jamie as he sat naked on the bed.

He looked up at the clock, “Is that the time?” He remarked, as he reached for his boxers.

I walked over and snatched them up, “No.”

“No?”

I nodded, before I hooked my fingers under my jumper, pulling it up over my head. Jamie watched me intently as I sat down next to him, placing a hand on his hot thigh. I looked up at his face and kissed his shoulder tenderly. He continued to watch me as I ran my hand across his back. I smiled at the way I caused goose bumps to appear on his skin, the way his small hairs on his arms would stand up.

I got up off the bed and quickly removed the rest of my clothing, leaving only my boxers. I faced Jamie, who was then lying back on the bed, his head on a pillow. He had his feet flat on the sheet, with his knees up slightly. I let my boxers drop to the floor, as I climbed onto the bed. Jamie focused on my erection and parted his legs, letting me crawl up between them. I nestled myself on top of him, with our chests pressed together. The heat coming from his body was crazy!

Jamie stared at me for a second, before he reached out, pulling my face towards his. I parted my lips and wet them slightly, before they came into contact with Jamie’s. I exhaled through my nose, relaxing in that one position I could hold forever. Jamie’s lips moved against mine, as his tongue entered my mouth. I flicked my tongue against his as he pressed his hips up off the bed. I moaned softly as he caressed my ass with his hands.

Jamie pulled back, breaking the lip lock. I stared at him for a few seconds, before he rolled us over, placing him on top. He smiled down at me, straddling my waist.

“I win.” He whispered, as he leaned closer once more.

I nodded, closing my eyes, “Yeah. You win.”

*

I lay my head on his chest, as he ran his hand through my hair. There was something so amazing about the afterglow of an orgasm, especially when I lay next to Jamie. It was as though someone had entered my mind and put all and any qualms to rest. It was as though that same person let me bask in the presence of everything great and wonderful.

Jamie kissed my head, sighing softly, “I love you.”

I raised my head and looked at his face, “I love you too.” I said, before I let my head rest back against his chest. “Just please don’t do that again.”

“Do what?” He asked, as he twirled my hair around his fingers.

“All the teasing.” I said, “It wastes time.”

He laughed at that, “Yeah? I thought you liked it.” He joked.

I looked at his face, “I don’t when it’s stopping us.”

“Ok I won’t do it again. Only if you’re sure though. I wouldn’t wan-“

“I’m sure.”

He laughed again, “Ok.”

I nestled closer to him, closing my eyes. I shifted my head slightly, placing my ear right above his heart, and listened to the sound of its gentle, rhythmic beating.

*

I smiled as the sun shone warmly onto my face. I turned and looked at Jamie, watching as the bright rays reflected off his dark, golden locks. As usual he looked stunning. There were times when I’d see him at school, amongst everyone else and I’d just marvel at the way he stood out from everyone else. It was as though he had this ‘aura’ of energy, of love that I could see. It was his brilliant personality that first attracted me to him, but it also kept me yearning for more. Not in terms of wanting more sexually, but just emotionally, and physically. I wanted to spend more time around him, be more open with him. I wanted to reach out and hold his hand, or brush those stray hairs that obscured his eyes...

“It’s rude to stare.” He commented, while looking straight ahead.

I smiled, “I can’t help it.”

He faced me, giving me this look, before he leaned close, “I love you.”

I grinned, “I love you too.”

Jamie winked at me, before he looked ahead again, as we walked in silence for a while.

“I was talking to Connor yesterday, about the prom and stuff...” I began, capturing Jamie’s interest, “He said we’ll go as a group.”

Jamie nodded, “That’s a good idea.” He said, “If they’re up for it.”

“Yeah...” I said trailing off, thinking about everything that Connor had told me.

“What? Did he say anything else?”

“He said...He said that if we can’t go together, you and me, then he wouldn’t go with his girlfriend, if he has one.”

Jamie was silent for a moment, “He’s a great guy.” He said, looking at me, “A really good friend to us.”

“Yeah, he is. “ I paused, “He always has been a good friend.”

“Yeah, and Max seems to be ‘warming’ up to the idea of us being together.”

“Mm, I think he’s getting there, it’s just that he gives off this...”

“Vibe?”

I nodded, “Yeah. This vibe that he’s still not very comfortable about it.” I glanced over at the lake as we walked by, “But he’s getting there.”

“It’s going to take a while longer I think.” He shook his head, “Everything takes so much time...”

“Yeah, it does.” I thought for a second, “What about your mum? How’s she handling it?”

He smiled, “She’s doing really good. She doesn’t talk about it, but she’s talking to me more and more, so that has to be a good thing, right?”

I nodded, grinning back, “I’m glad things are working out for you.” I said, “I guess your dad’s still the same, still as awesome as ever?”

“Awesome? Yeah, he is.” He replied, “It’s like it doesn’t bother him at all. As though me liking guys doesn’t change a thing.”

“Well, does it?”

He looked at me, “I don’t mean it in a bad way, I’m talking about...you know, how parents have this plan for you. Like you go to college and stuff, marry a woman, have kids...”

“Yeah. I know what you mean.” I replied.

*

You know, if you two would rather...hang out with each other, that’s cool.” Suggested Ayo, looking at Jamie and me.

I was about to reply but Connor cut me off.

“I think they’ve done enough ‘hanging out together’ for one day, don’t you, Ayo?” He said with a small laugh, without looking away from the TV.

Jamie and I blushed madly, while Ayo looked at him.

Connor turned to us, a grin on his face, “What?”

The time had just gone 4:37, and we were over at Connor’s house. While I had initially told them after school that we’d meet them a little later, as Jamie had to get changed and stuff, I didn’t anticipate that it would have taken over an hour. Of course we didn’t tell them the reason for the delay, but it didn’t take them long before they made their own assumptions.

Jamie and I managed to recover from that, “Erm, we’re fine here, with you guys.” I replied.

Ayo smiled at us before he went over and sat next to Connor, “Yeah, I think you’re right about them. I think they’re all ‘hanged out’ for toda-”

“Connor! Dude!” Called out Jamie.

They laughed at us. That carried on for a while, and while Jamie and I never outright denied, or confirmed what we had gotten up to, they both had the same idea. And to be honest, it felt...good. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t too hot on the idea of sharing our sex life with them (notwithstanding the small chat I had with Connor), but it was the fact that they knew, but didn’t really care about it that felt good. Even the teasing felt good, it was another way of them showing their acceptance. And I couldn’t have asked for more.

“Where’s Max?” Asked Jamie, “He not coming over today?”

“Yeah, he’s just caught up for a while. He said he has family over or something.” Replied Connor.

“That sucks.” I added, knowing all too well how family can just show up uninvited, and in turn screw things up.

“Yeah.” He said, looking up at the door as Terry appeared, “Hi Dad.”

“Hi guys.” He said, “Would you two like to stay and have dinner with us?” He asked, looking at Jamie and Ayo.

Jamie looked at Terry, “I’ll call my parents and ask if it’s ok.”

Ayo nodded in agreement, “Yeah, me too.”

He clasped his hands together, “Great! We’re having some beef burgers.” He began, “Do you both eat beef?”

“Yep, sounds great.” Replied Ayo, with Jamie nodding.

“Ok, dinner won’t be ready until about half-five, so just chill until then.” He said, before he paused, “Do you know if Max will be coming later?”

Connor nodded, “He should be, I’ll give him a call.”

I turned to Connor, “A special occasion today?”

He shrugged, “I don’t think so. Mum said a few days ago that she was going to invite you guys around.” He said, as he stood up, walking towards the door, “I’m just gonna go call Max, see if he’ll make it.”

“Sure. I’ll call home.” Said Ayo.

“Me too.” Added Jamie, as they pulled out their phones.

Seeing as I didn’t have to call anyone, I picked up the TV remote and went channel surfing for a while, stopping on some football game. I looked over at Jamie as he hung up his phone.

“Yeah, I can stay.”

“Cool.” I said, as I patted the seat next to me.

He came over, sitting next to me.

I turned my attention to the game on the telly, “You liked it when we went up to see Chelsea, didn’t you?”

He nodded, “Yeah, I really enjoyed it.” He smiled, “Are they playing again soon?”

“I dunno. I’ll ask Connor when he comes back.”

We didn’t have to wait that long before he arrived, giving us the thumbs up, “Yeah, Max will be here later. Said he wouldn’t miss my Mum’s cooking for anything.”

I laughed, “Damn right!” I said, “Con, are there any soccer games coming up?” I asked, causing Jamie to elbow me softly.

He nodded, “Yeah, we got one in about three weeks, a Liverpool game.”

“Are they good?” Asked Jamie.

I smiled at him, “Yeah, they’re alright.” I replied, looking at Ayo, “You up to going down to London?” I asked.

“Sure, sounds good.” He replied.

Jamie looked at him, “I thought you supported Arsenal.”

I laughed, “Yeah, he supports Arsenal, he just doesn’t wave it about with all us Blues fans around.”

“Yeah, all you hooligans!”

“Hey!” Called out Connor, “Watch your language!”

“Yeah, watch it!” I added, with Jamie now in hysterics.

We joked about with each other for a while after that, with Connor and me teasing Ayo, or Jamie asking us various questions about Football, or the League. Some of them were really cute too, causing me to give him these little looks, before he’d get annoyed with me delaying the answer. Max arrived shortly thereafter, before we headed down to the dining room to eat.

Jamie sat opposite me, next to Max, while Ayo sat on my right, with Connor at the head of the table. It was great to be hanging out with the guys like that, all of us together, sharing a meal. It reminded me of Connor’s birthday, when we ate out. And just like the time before, there was tonnes of food. The burgers that Amanda had made were huge, along with a big serving of fries, and even a little salad on every plate.

As soon as we sat down we all started to tuck in, refilling our teenage stomachs. As I started to take my first couple of bites, I glanced over at Max, noticing how pleased he seemed. There was definitely something else going on that was keeping him amused.

“Why are you so happy?” I asked, smiling at him.

“What? Can’t a guy be happy?” He grinned.

“Sure he can, I just wanna know your secret.”

He raised his eyebrows, “Secret?”

I nodded, noting the other guys taking an interest. “Yeah, like why you’re happy. What’s your method?”

He smiled, “The ‘method’ is that I have a girlfriend.”

Jamie immediately began to laugh at that, followed by the rest of us.

I clutched my stomach and drew in some air, “Yeah, don’t think that one will work for me.”

Max flashed me a toothy grin, “I didn’t think so.”

Jamie patted him on the back, “So a girlfriend, huh?”

Max nodded, taking another bite from his burger.

“Anyone we know?” He asked.

“Mmm.” He replied, as he swallowed, “Sarah.”

My eyes widened, “You serious?”

“Yeah.”

“Wow.” I remarked, looking over to Connor and Ayo, seeing what their reactions were, but instead saw them both giggling away. “And just what’s so funny?”

They laughed again at that.

I looked over at Jamie, “I thought we’re supposed to be the ‘giggling’ couple.”

He held up his hands, “Don’t let me stop you, Honey.” He joked, causing Max to chuckle at that.

I shot him my best, ‘next time we’re in bed, I’ll show you who’s Honey’ look, but he just grinned at me.

“But Sarah, already?” Asked Connor, “Didn’t she just stop seeing Dean?”

He shook his head, “They broke up a while ago, just didn’t tell anyone much.” He replied, “Besides, we’re only just dating.”

I grinned at him and took another bite out of the burger. There was no denying that Amanda’s cooking was amazing, to say the least. During my stay at his house, I had been spoilt rotten with the meals I had gotten. Terry wasn’t that bad a cook either, but it was his wife who excelled at that!

She was kinda like my mum in that regard. Actually I remember them both going on this cooking course thing when Connor and I were like eight-years-old or something. They’d always be over at each other’s houses, burying themselves in the kitchen and making stuff for us to try out...I was starting to miss her. But it was funny, or perhaps freakish would be a better word, at how those ‘happy’ memories were quickly being eroded, following the events that had happened during those weeks. And it scared me.

I didn’t want to think of my mum as the teary-eyed, red faced, shouting woman who kicked me out of my home. No, I wanted to remember those good times. The times where we’d sit together and talk, read a book together, or even the times where she’d take me out to the theatre when Josh was younger, just so she could show me that I still mattered to her. But as I sat there, surrounded by friends, and Connor’s family, I couldn’t help but wonder if I’d ever sit like this again with my parents.

Sure, I expected that I’d eventually return home. Surely they’d want me back...right? I wondered if I still mattered to my mum, if she’d ever go out of her way to show how much I meant to her. At that point in time, the only thing that seemed to matter to her was that ‘Matt’ was straight, or that he ‘appeared’ straight to everyone else.

“Yeah, man, I wanted to go as a group anyways.” Said Max, “That’s what last year’s guys did.”

Ayo nodded, “I think it’d be better if we go together.”

“We have to get one of those Limousine Hummers!” I added, looking at Jamie, “They’re pretty awesome.”

“Yeah, definitely.” Nodded Connor, “We HAVE to get one of those!”

We finished eating about ten-minutes later, at which time we headed upstairs, after thanking Amanda and Terry for the dinner of course. We stayed up there for a few hours before Ayo announced that he’d better head home, as the time was nearing eight o’clock.

“You sure? It’s only eight.” Asked Connor.

“Yeah. I need my sleep, and I got some school work to do for tomorrow.” He replied, causing me to mentally check whether I had any work left to do.

“Yeah, me too.” Said Jamie. “I’ve got some English to do.” He added, yawning.

Crap! I did have some work to do, another redraft of some damn English essay.

Jamie giggled at the look on my face, “You just remembered?”

“Yeah.”

“Well you better get to it, boy.” Remarked Jamie, standing up, “I’d better be heading off then.”

Ayo stood up too, “Yeah.”

Connor joined them, “Hey, Dad said he’ll drop you guys back, if you want?”

“You sure?”

“Yeah.”

Max patted his belly, “A free ride, yeah, I could do with that. With this belly and all.”

I laughed at him, “What belly? There’s nothing of you!”

He shook his head, standing up, “I can feel it, all that meat.” He said looking at Connor, “Your mum is too dangerous, trying to fatten me up like this.” He joked.

We got a laugh out of that, mainly because of how great a body Max had. He had to be going crazy if he seriously thought that it was changing in shape! With the jokes over, we filed down the stairs, watching as they went out of the door, into Terry’s car.

“See you guys later!” Called out Connor.

“Yeah see you!” I said, turning to Jamie, “Bye, Babes.” I called out, before I realised what I said.

The other guys looked at me, giggling to themselves.

I ignored them and smiled at Jamie again, “Love you!”

“Love you too!” He called back, over the sound of them laughing.

Max waved, “We’ll catch you later. See ya!”

“Bye!”

“Bye.” I replied, as Connor closed the door. He turned around and faced me, “’Love you too’, isn’t he the sweetest thing?”

“Shut up.”

He laughed and placed an arm around my shoulder as he pulled me up the stairs, “Come on, we gotta go get that essay done.”

*

About an hour later I sat back from my computer, flexing my fingers.

“All done?” Asked Connor as he looked up from his bed, on his own computer.

“Yeah, pretty much.”

“Good. I thought you were gonna poke a hole in that or something. Your fingers were on fire!” He remarked as he looked back at his display, “Hey, I’m gonna take a shower, want me to leave it on for you?”

I shook my head, “Naah, I’m good. I’ll have one in the morning, thanks.”

He nodded and walked out of the room, his towel in hand.

I looked back at my laptop and stared at my wallpaper for a second, before I went off to check my emails. I really didn’t expect Jamie to have sent me the bookmarks as he suggested, but he actually did. I opened the email.

Here, I just used this one, it’s really good! ;)
- Jamiexxx

Once I managed to get the thought of a jerking off Jamie out of my head, I looked at the link he sent me. I minimized the window and clicked on it, with my hand ready to close the lid in case someone walked in. The page started to load. I was a little bit concerned at first when I saw Snow White’s face appear, before I realised he’d given me a link to the Disney website. The damn cheek of him! I typed back a message to him.

Haha, very funny, Goldilocks. Wait until I see you tomorrow.

Matt xxx

I sent the email and logged off the website, rearranging my erection just as Connor emerged from the bathroom.

He saw me move my hand back to the keyboard so he looked at me, “Uh, if you want the room...” He said, grinning.

I widened my eyes, “I wasn’t...”

“Yeah, right.” He giggled, as he removed the towel, standing there in his boxers.

I glanced down at my computer, as I copied over my coursework onto my pendrive.

“I don’t care, you know. Just say and I’ll leave you alone.” He said, as he climbed onto his bed.

I pulled out the drive and shut off my computer, “It’s your room, man. I can manage.”

He nodded, grinning at me, “I thought the shower was a little slippery.”

I blushed at that, thinking of a comeback, “It’s better than finding used socks under your bed!” In truth I’d never seen one, but it was worth a shot.

Connor blushed madly, shaking his head, “No you haven’t.”

Clearly he was guilty of that at one point in his life. I just laughed at him, “Sure thing, dude.” I replied, as I stood up and walked over to the door, “I’ll be back in a bit.”

He nodded at me, as I walked out of the room, heading for the bathroom.

I quickly went to the toilet, washed myself up, and brushed my teeth, before I walked back into his bedroom. I slipped out of my clothes, and turned off the light, as I climbed into bed.

Connor rolled over and faced me, “You take sooo long in the bathroom.”

“What? No I don’t. You take longer, especially when you have to do your hair.”

“Yeah, but you do nothing to yours, and it still looks good.” He replied.

He was slightly wrong there, as I
DID take care of my hair, but I didn’t have to use gel, wax, or straighten it or anything. Just a brush, and a little patience, and I had my look. I pulled the cover up me, “Lucky genes.” I replied, before I reached down, picking up my trousers, and retrieving some toilet tissue I had collected, “Here.” I said, throwing it up to him.

He looked at it, “Dude!”

“It might stop your poor mother from having to handle those retched socks!”

Connor grinned, “I wouldn’t worry about her handling my socks, I’m scared about her handling your sheet!”

“My sheet?” I asked, “My sheet is
spotless!”

He shook his head, “I bet it is, I mean with all those dreams you have about Jamie.”

I blushed, “Uh, what dreams?”

He sat up, “
Oh Jamie, oh yes, oh yesss...!” He whispered, while doing these ‘rocking’ motions.

“I don’t do that!” I whispered back, trying not to get too loud.

He stopped giggling, “You keep telling yourself that, mate.”

'I don’t do that in my sleep, do I?' I asked myself.

“Relax, I was kidding.” He smiled, “But you HAVE giggled in your sleep before!”

It was time for me to turn the tables, “Yeah, I remember that dream. It was Jamie and me in my room at home. We were both naked and h-“

“Matt!” Cried Connor, “Innocent little ears here!”

I laughed at that. We spoke for a while longer before we called it a night. I rest my head on the pillow, and closed my eyes, thinking about my blond beauty. With the image of Jamie’s smile on my mind, I drifted off to sleep.
