If this resembles work by others or stories in real life, that is merely by coincidence, nothing more nor nothing less. All acts of sexual congress in this story performed by those under the age of eighteen was performed with their consent. We knew everything about each other, became inseparable, and he was no longer the new kid. It was three months later, and he became a part of my social circle, and everyone began to like him, even Ali. She was always pestering me to make a move, but I just guess I was afraid of rejection, waiting for him to make the first move. Besides, I was beginning to think that Benjy was starting to work out that whenever I played with the sleeves of my hoody or sweater, that I was getting nervous, and I only did it around him. "I just don't like penguins. I mean, they're creepy! How can you find them cute? Ew. No. Gross," Benjy said, among our inner circle of friends. "Oh, no, they're adorable! I just love their little waddling! Oh, I wanna adopt one. Is that possible? I think I should. It's happening," Ali declared. "Hey, any you guys goin' to the Hangout tonight?" asked Victoria, who always insisted people call her by her full name because Vicky sounded cheap. "What's the Hangout?" asked Benjy, so sweet and innocent. I was fiddling with my sleeves already. "It's this party place everyone goes to on Friday nights, out near the woods. We all go there, except Kayden, and tonight is Friday" replied Victoria. "My mom doesn't let me!" I lied. "Doesn't let you? She'd practically push you out the door and hand you a crate of beers just to get rid of you. Seriously, Kay, you should go. There's gonna be a bonfire tonight, too. Plus, Archie's stealing some booze from his dad's shop, so we'll all be set." I had to admit that I liked getting drunk, other than the awful aftermath; the hangover. "Sure, I'll come," I finally said, a grin loosening across Benjy's features. I knew that if he wasn't there, it would be boring, and I was pretty sure he felt the same way. "Great! Ali, you're dad can drive you, Kay and Benjy out there tonight, right? Everyone else'll meet you guys there at nine. Seeya!" Victoria bid goodbye, standing up and walking off. We were all sitting on a table in the farthest side of the quad, at school. "Righty, I'm off," Ali spoke so carelessly. "Ali, it's lunch, you can't just leave," I reminded her. "Sure you can, it's called ditching. Ever heard of it? You climb over the fence and walk away, it's that simple. You coming?" "Yeah, I will, I'm not going to P.E next lesson." "Good, Kay. Benjy, you comin'?" "Won't I get in trouble?" he asked, his face a little cautious. "Nahh, they don't give two shits." "Why would they give two?" he asked, forcing me to giggle a little. My sense of humor wasn't the best, or the easiest to get. I was one of those kids with the horrible laugh, and an awkward face when I did. Although, I had a dark humor, like, I couldn't stop laughing when I heard the joke 'What's the difference between a chicken and a Jew?', to which the answer was 'Chickens don't scream when you put them in the oven.' I mean, I knew it to be a dark and very anti-Semitic joke, but it was funny whether I liked it or not, however disgusting it was. So, don't think that I love Nazi's or hate Jews, because I'm not a judging person. I'm fine with it all. "Just come!" Ali ordered, dragging him away from the table while I followed, still playing with my sleeves. ------------------------------------- "Kay, did you ditch school?" asked my sister, after finding me in the house too soon. "Yeah, Lydia, I did. But I had P.E., besides, I'm going to the Hangout later." "Oh, good for you. Don't worry, I won't tell mom." "Wait, Lydia, can I ask you something?" I asked her. "You just did; but sure, what's eatin' you?" "I like this... person, and I don't know if they like me back," I told her. Lydia was the person anyone could turn to for advice, because she really was a great sibling. "By person, you mean a guy, don't you?" she guessed. As soon as she said that, I felt this horrible, surprising pain in my lower stomach, and it made me worried and shaky almost instantly. I was outed. "Uhh...," I replied. "Oh, stop acting like I don't know, Kayden. Ever since you were a kid, I could always tell. But mom was a bit stupid, she doesn't know. Besides, I heard your friend Alison calling you GayKay, so that was when I really knew. Anyway, let me guess, you like a guy and your not sure if he's... well, not straight," Alison told me. "Uhhh, yeah..." I was still freaked out and shaky, and practically terrified. "Well, you'll need to find out. Ask him, or make him seem like he has to spell it out. Try getting him to say it, or try making a move, see what his reaction is. Wait a minute, is this that new kid down the street that you don't shut up about? Benjamin?" "Yes," I replied simply, closing my eyes in horror. "Oh, that's so cute. But yeah, he's got to be. He's really effeminate, and he has a dip-dyed fringe. Plus, who wears woolly jumpers these days? Now, I don't know stereotypes, but that kid is either a bad heterosexual or a stereotypical homosexual. I can't tell you what to do, but do something like touch his hand or kiss him, see what he does. If he rejects you, forget about it and pretend like you were too drunk to remember the next day. Always worked for me! And what a better place than the Hangout? Lost my virginity there," she said, leaving my room. I decided to get dressed early, and wait for Ali to come. I wore a dark green jumper, grey skinny jeans, and all-black Converse. After styling my hair till it was perfect, I just spent my time laying on the couch and watching some episodes of The Vampire Diaries or Once Upon A Time. I was in a sloppy romantic mood, like all my crushes made me feel. I heard an unexpected knock at my back door. I knew something was wrong, because no one ever knocked on my back door, unless they were being secretive. When I opened it, I saw Benjamin. He was wearing another knitted woolly jumper, blue this time, and had white jeans and luminescent blue Converse. "Benjy?" I asked. His hair was styled again, blonde and blue. It was puffy and big, and fell across one eye. He was definitely kissable, and I couldn't help but play with my sleeves. He noticed that, and suddenly pushed forward, so close to my face. I felt him breathing, his breath sweet like blueberry candy. It reminded me of the blue-raspberry bon bons I would buy on the weekends when watching old shows. His face was so close to mine, his eyes looking directly into my soul. Before I could say a word, his statuesque lips were pressed against mine. They were soft and delectable, and I returned his kiss. Benjy placed his arms around my neck, and mine were around his waist. All of my body was buzzing, butterflies were bursting through my stomach, I had never been kissed. Well, by a boy, at least. When I kissed a girl, I was younger, and wasn't very interested in it. But, when I kissed Benjamin, I felt right. I felt his warmth pressing against me, and I knew he had to be mine. He broke apart so suddenly, and, after looking behind me, hurried out of my back garden. "Well, I think you have your answer," Lydia said from behind, as she stood in the hallway, watching it all, and I was left, dazed and glorified, immensely shocked. ------------------------------------- After the kiss Benjy and I had shared, I became quiet. Well, quieter than usual. I stayed in my room until I ^@d heard Ali braying loudly on my front door. But I just stayed still, lying on my bed, until Ali stormed her way into my house, ignoring my sister's yelling at her, and climbed into my room. ?What the Hell, Kay?! Get up! My dad and Benjy are waitin' in the car for you, so hurry the fuck up!? Ali screeched, before leaving my room and retreating back to wherever it was that she came from. ?Kay, you may as well go out, now that you know. I mean, give it a go. The Hangout is a great place for getting it on,? Lydia advised, closing my door after Ali had left. I stood up then, realizing what had happened. It finally struck me, that I did have my answer, and that the impossible was possible. So, I stood up, fixed my hair in the mirror, put my black beanie on, and headed out. When I got outside, it was really cold. Like, really cold. The snow was beginning to fall in Great Britain (it ain't GREAT for nothin'!), it being early January. So, I rushed into the back seat of the car, next to Benjy. ?Finally, Kay. God. You took your fucking time. Drive, dad,? Ali spoke, as the car began to move. ?Hey,? Benjy said, without looking at me. ?Hi.? ?So, Kayden, I hear your no longer a depressed emo kid,? Ali's dad, Robb, said, and quite rudely so. He was usually like that. I knew that he either had Aspergers, or he was always drunk. ?Where'd you hear that?? I asked, hearing a giggle from Ali. ?Ugh,? I sighed. ?No, he's still a depressed fucker,? Ali said. The car ride to the Hangout was short and quiet. I didn't speak, and Benjy didn't take his eyes away from the window. It was just Ali and her dad, making fun of people they saw and creating/spreading foul, untrue rumors about random people. When the car finally stopped, it was at the beginning of a large field. It had a stone path that led up to the start of a forest, and I could see the fire from the car window. ?Go on then, get out, yah pathetic bastards!? Robb said, pushing Ali out of the slow, but still moving, car. I hurried out after that, and Benjy did to. While we were unloosening our seat belts, our hands brushed each other, and I noticed him looking at me. My friend, not my new friend. He hadn't been that for at least three months. Now, he was my romantic interest. He touched my hand, taking it in his, before he left. By the time we were out of the car, and after Robb pulled away, Ali was halfway down the pathway shouting ?Ali's here, boys! Come get her!? Benjy and I walked side-by-side, and started off very silently. ?Look, Benjy, about earlier,? I began to say, if it wasn't for grabbing my hand. Then, he began attacking me. Although, it wasn't a violent attack. He dived onto the grass, yanking me down to the ground. He was lying on top of me, as we lay on the grass, and he began to kiss me. This time, it wasn't a passionate kiss, it was a sexy kiss. His tongue was included. It entered my mouth, exploring it, and I returned his snog. It was amazing, honestly. His tongue was fiddling with mine, and I had time to bite his lip. Not hard, of course, but playfully, sexily. He liked that. But, he broke the kiss again, rolling off of me and lying beside me. ?Sorry,? he said. ?It's... it's fine.? He took hold of my hand right there, and I couldn't have been happier. His hand was soft and sumptuous, and was now entwined with mine. I couldn't even have dreamt something more romantic, and I had dreamt of some very romantic things involving Benjy and I. ?What does it mean?? I asked him. ?It means I like you, Kay. More than a friend. I know you like me too.? ?How did you find out?? I asked, sitting up to look at him. ?The night we met, I wasn't asleep on your shoulder. I heard it all,? he said, flashing a gorgeous grin. ?And having a dip-dyed fringe is not gay! It's sexy!? he told. ?It is,? I confirmed, making the move I wish I made that night. I climbed on top of him this time, pinned him by his arms, and began kissing his neck. He breathed across mine, which made me tingle. My neck was a total turn on spot, and he found that out, when I let out an erotic sigh of pleasure. Slowly, I moved my lips up his neck, reaching his lips, and began kissing him over and over. This time, my tongue explored his mouth. I could taste the blueberry on his tongue, and it was great. Over the night, we just stayed there. We dared not to go anywhere else, and spent the night looking up at the stars and kissing. Soon, the minutes turned to hours, and with hours brought dawn, and a lightening sky. And a bright, golden orange sky that begged for someone to kiss under, which, obviously, we did. After the sun has risen, we just stayed there, refused to move, and fell asleep in each others arms, in the same position as the night we met: both of us on our sides, holding hands, with our legs wrapped up in each other, spooning romantically. It wasn't until we heard Ali screaming our names from the forest that we decided to separate, parting with a kiss, to meet up with Ali.
