I ran inside, threw my stuff down and immediately called Chris. It rang once, which seemed to take forever. Finally, Chris picked up before the second ring. I thought I was going to fall through the floor, I was just so anxious to talk to Chris again. I hope I never have to spend a day away from him again. "Hello Mr. Messerre, I have an offer you can't refuse." I said to Chris in a deep "sales pitch" voice. "What would that be Mr. Phone person." Chris said. "I want you, yes YOU, to meet me, yup, I said ME, at Wellingger Creek in an hour." I replied. "Well, I don't know, I'll have to talk to my boyfriend before I do anything too drastic here." Chris said, as if I were trying to sell him something. "Well, you are talking to the right man for that." I said sarcastically. "Did you have fun while I was gone Chris?" "Well, fun, no. But I did manage to stay busy. I helped Melanie paint her room and went shopping for school clothes." Chris replied. "Oh, that's cool. I managed to get kissed in my sleep, or at least my apparent sleep." I said. What's that?" Chris asked. I could tell he was getting worried. "Well, I was just waking up and that Charlie guy was waking up too. He startled me, so I closed my eyes and acted like I was still sleeping. He talked and said something to the affect that I was cute. Then he rubbed my cheek and kissed me." I explained "...And you didn't stop him! Blake, that's bullshi..." "Then I pushed him off and told him how much I was in love with my best friend back at home." I finished, smiling, even though Chris couldn't see it. "Oh, ohh, I'm sorry." Chris said sympathetically. It's ok Chris, I would have probably said the same thing, or something much worse." "Yeah, but I still feel bad for even thinking it..." Chris continued. "Chris, really this doesn't even compare to me following you around seeing if you were cheating on me. Just don't worry about it, really!" I said. "Well, you do have a point there." Chris said in an unusual tone. "But still Blake, are you sure?" He asked. "Does a bear pee in the woods!? Yes, I'm positive, I'll see you at the creek in 45 minutes, ok?" I replied. "Yeeesss Blake, I'll be there." Chris said, probably rolling his eyes. I'm really glad I told Chris about the Charlie thing. It's better for him to hear it from me, than from Charlie next weekend, or in some over round-about way. I'm also glad that Chris at least did something this weekend, and not just sit at home. Sometimes he's the "hard to motivate" type. I have the strangest feeling he's up to something, some kind of surprise. It's probably all in my head, but it's nice to think. I decided to go down and talk to Rosa; I hadn't seen her since we came back. I walked down to her quarters and knocked on the door. "Just a second, I'll be right there," Rosa said in her usual cheery voice. "OK Rosa." I screamed back through the door. A few moments later, Rosa was there at the door with a big smile on her face. "Hello Blake, how you been?" She asked. "Really good, we got back about 20 minutes ago." I told her. "I'm glad you came to see me Blake, I need to talk to you." Rosa said to me. "What about?" I asked in a concerned tone. "Well, come in, take a seat." She said. I followed her in, I hope she didn't plan on me staying long; I had to meet Chris in about 20 minutes. "Blake, I don't mean to make you feel bad, but I think you should know." Rosa told me. "Know what?" I asked. Her tone making me uneasy. "I saw you and Chris, well, kissing last week. I really suspected it already, and I feel ok with it. You are a son to me Blake. I just want you to know I accept you and Chris, I can see you truly love him." She confessed. I had a lump in my throat, just from the sheer thought of her seeing us kiss. I was glad she was comfortable with it though. But it was awkward hearing someone tell me that, I had never planned on being confronted about my sexuality. I always seen it the other way around, it was just really unsuspected. "Well Rosa, I'm really glad you feel that way." I said with a forced smile. "It's really ok Blake, but one thing. I don't know if you should tell MR. And Mrs. Yestler, they might not take it quite as well as I did. She was right, my parents would accept it, but things would certainly change. I'd lose a lot of privileges, and have to stop seeing Chris as much; just for the fact they would think we were having sex. What is it with gays and sex? I mean, yeah, I'm sure it feels wonderful, but I want my first, hopefully Chris, to love me, and for I to have the same feelings towards him. I'm sure Chris and I are in love, but that still doesn't mean it's the right time for sex. Although we've been friends for a long long time, we've only been dating for a little over 2 months. I can't see sleeping with him yet, we still have a lot to learn about love, and surely we haven't learned it in the little amount of time we've had. "Yeah, you're probably right Rosa, I don't plan on telling them any time soon either." I said to Rosa. "OK, and Blake, be careful. Don't do anything risky until you know this is what you want." "Rosa, I'm not going to do anything at all yet, but this IS what I want. This is what I've wanted for a really long time. I gotta get going though; Chris and I are meeting at the creek. I love you Rosa." I said get up and giving her a big hug. "Alright, alright, you go and see Chris. Talk to you later Blake." Rosa said as I exited her quarters. Rosa's House, which is off the back of ours, is probably bigger than our guesthouse. She has always meant a lot to this family, and she always will. I ran into the house and fixed my hair, put on a new shirt I had gotten at the mall awhile back, and put on my brown Sketcher sandals. I grabbed the car keys and closed my bedroom door. I got in the Impala and was off to Wellingger Creek. On the way there, I started thinking about Charlie. I was actually looking forward to seeing him again. I missed his company; he was a cool person to hang out with. I arrived at Wellingger creek about 10 minutes early. Hopefully Chris would be there in a few minutes. I could hardly stand waiting another minute to see him. I heard a car coming up the road, and it turned into the parking lot. I couldn't see it yet, because there were a few trees that lined the parking lot in the way. As soon as I seen it was a Malibu, I knew it was Chris. He drove upand parked a few spots away from my car. He got out, closed the door, and just leaned up again the side of the car. He smiled over at me, and started to walk towards me. I smiled back and just stood there looking at him. He was so cute; there was no denying that. He was about 10 feet away from me, when he started to run towards me! My first instinct was to run away. I turned around and ran into the woods towards the creek. Chris was screaming "I'm gonna get you" like I was a baby or something. I jumped over the creek and continued running into the woods. The direction I was running in would take me right to where Charlie and I were just last night. I doubt that I could run the 7 miles it was to that place, but at least I knew where I was headed. I finally ran out of breath and Chris tackled me to the ground. He rolled over on top of me and just stared. He looked at me directly in my eyes. He held the stare for about 30 seconds before he kissed me. After making out for what was probably close to an hour, I pushed him off. "C'mon Chris, let's get out of the leaves, I'm getting all itchy everywhere." "Well, I'll scratch all those little itches for you." Chris said as he tickled me a bit. We both got up and started walking further into the woods. I told Chris about the little bit of drinking Charlie and I did in the woods the night before. He just laughed. "Why didn't you invite me along?" He asked. "Well, I would have asked him to come pick you up, but I didn't want to be a pest." I replied. "A pest?! Yeah, Blake, you are always a pest to me." Chris said. "I know." I said cutting my eyes over at him. We both just snickered a bit at the thought of actually pestering each other. I don't think that Chris and I ever worried about that. We enjoyed each other's company no matter what. It was funny how you could grow up your entire life and not get tired of one another. I believe Chris and I knew where our friendship would lead eventually. We were too good of friends, I wonder if any of your school friends noticed that? It's something I always feared. My friends would figure out I was gay always made me nervous, but lately I really didn't care. I knew I would always have Chris in my life. Chris and I were just walking and enjoying the tranquility of the forest. It was so peaceful, I wish we could do this more often. "Hey Chris, have you ever thought about telling your Mom about yourself?" I asked. "Well, I definitely plan on it, but I don't know when. I want you there with me, that's for sure." "Yeah." I said trailing off. "Why, do you plan on telling your Mom and Dad?" Chris asked back. "Well, not anytime soon, but Rosa...well Rosa told me today she seen us together last week or something. She said she seen us kissing. We had this like big talk about it. She understands 100% though, and supports us.She warned me about telling my Mom and Dad though. She's right too Blake, my parents will not be perfectly fine with you and I dating." "Yeah, I can sort of tell." Chris said. "I'm just really scared about my parents finding out, I don't want to lose you Chris." I said. "Look." Chris said taking me by the arm. "You will never lose me Blake. I love you with all my heart, and nothing can keep us a part." I would give my life up for you, I would live right here, in the middle of the woods with you if that's what it took to be with you. I can never ever live without you." Chris said. He kissed me lightly on the lips, I was a little too upset and nervous about my parents finding out to really get into it. He brushed my cheek, and it forced a tear out of the corner of my eye. He wiped it away and kissed over both my eyes. It was so sweet, the entire moment we were having made me moan. "What was that for?" Chris asked. "Nothing Chris, just enjoying the moment, you are the best. I love you." "I love you too." Chris replied. Those three words have meant nothing to me until now. They mean something different to everyone. But to me, they meant having Chris in my life forever. The one person I've always wanted, and now finally have. No one could understand what this feeling is like. It's just a total feeling of happiness, the feeling you've always wanted, but never knew you could have. I have it, and that makes me feel like crying at times. "So, you gonna tell me what that moan was for Blake?" "What moan?" I asked. "The little moan you let out when I kissed you." Chris said. "I told you, I was just enjoying the moment." "Yeah, enjoying it in more ways than one." Chris replied, patting my groin. I pushed him off me. Not really sure why, just a reflex. "What was that for?!" Chris asked. "It's just not the time for groin patting, sorry Chris." I said with a snicker. "Well, when is that time going to come?" Chris asked. This was something I was afraid of. I mean, I wanted Chris, BELIEVE me I wanted him. But it was just a weird situation. Imagine growing up with someone your entire life, maybe seeing that "area" two or three times while sneaking a peak. And now, you have that same person you've grown up with asking you when you can hold it, feel it, and suck it. It sounds so degrading, that's why I don't want to do it. I don't want to "degrade" our relationship. Sound Crazy? Maybe it is, but that's how I feel. I want to make our first time right, and once again, this isn't the time. Hopefully Chris would realize that too. "I don't know when that time is going to come, but it most certainly isn't now. I love you Chris, but our first time is going to be perfect, ok?" "OK." Chris replied. "Now, we should probably head back to your house." I said "Ha, my house? Who said you could come over?" Chris asked. "Oh shut up, lets go." I said knocking Chris on the shoulder. We headed back towards the car and drove to his place. Chris was rubbing on my leg, which gave me something to try and hide. Sometimes I think Chris liked teasing me more than pleasing me, but that was ok. He went about it in such a way that it teased and pleased me at the same time, hehe. We pulled into Chris' driveway and I noticed his Mom's car was gone, so Chris just pulled all the way up to the doors. After Chris struggled for a minute with the key and the security system we walked into the living room. "Blake, I really gotta use the bathroom, just go up in my room, I'll meet you there in a sec." Chris said. I started walking up the stairs and into the hallway when I heard Chris' phone ring. I'd answered it numerous times before, but I knew if I didn't run, the machine would get it. He has is set up for the 2 ring answer. Somehow I don't seem to be fast enough to get the phone in two rings and by the time I reached the door the machine was on. ...You've reached Chris' room, I can't get to the phone right now, so please leave a message and I'll get back to ya... "Uhm, yeah. Hey Chris. This is Charlie, sorry I didn't get to call earlier, but I just wanted to tell you that I tried everything I knew to get Blake to cheat on you. He passed; he's really a great guy. Good luck man." ________________________________________________________________________ Well guys, there's chapter 4. There's my first cliffhanger, hehe.
