So here it is... a new chp in Circle the Noun. JMH http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adultwritingworkshop/ ********************************************* Once he calmed down, Greg went looking for his cell phone. Not sure what he was going to say, he called Josh. "Hello?" Josh's voice came after the third ring. "Dad... it's me... Greg." "How are you buddy?" "I feel so lonely here." "I'm sorry Greg. Nothing would make me happier then to take you back home with me." "I know dad... it's just everyone seems to want me to hate you." "Do you hate me?" "No... besides Nathan, you are the only person I still trust." "Well you know me better then most people do so if you say I'm a good guy I must be," Josh joked. "Yeah..." Greg said, feeling his spirit rise. "They just say that you are a cheap wad." "They are talking about money issues," Greg heard his adoptive dad sigh. "Yes..." Greg replied nervously. "It's ok Greg. Now that you know... do you think I have been stingy?" "No... you always made sure that we had want we needed." "Thanks Greg. Can I ask you a favor though?" "Sure." "Don't tell Nathan and David what you know about the money." "Ok... but why? I don't think it will change them." "I know but I like them thinking they are just normal kids." "Dad... we are not normal." "I know... all three of you are exceptionally good kids." "That's cause you are such a great dad," Greg said whole-heartedly. "Thanks Greg." "So when do you think I can come home." "Well your mother was able to get back some visitation rights and she is going to share them with us." "Did she beat up my dad to get them?" "No... luckily that was not necessary. But there will be one change, your mom will be moving is with us." "Oh man... how could you let that happen. She'll going to make your life horrible." "We'll survive. It was the only way we could have you spend the whole week with us." "Ok... sorry I am making your life miserable." "Not at all. Things might be difficult but we hope everything will be ok in the end. How is your dad?" "Don't know. I've not been talking to him," Greg was proud to say. "You need to, Greg. He is your father and he does love you." "Well he is making a mess of my life," Greg complained. "But you are talking to me." "Yeah, but none of this is your fault." "A part of it is my fault Greg. I kept on loving uncle Robert," Greg heard his dad say sadly. "I know... you should be the man you love," Greg struggled to say; his eyes were starting to water up with tears. Hearing Josh finally say he was still in love with Robert hammered in the final nail in Greg's fear that Josh and his dad were finished. "I still love your dad and you Greg, never doubt that." "And I love you too dad," Greg cried. "Then can I ask you another favor?" Josh asked. "Yes." "Take it easy on your dad and try to talk to him." "I don't want to. I want to hate him." "I know..." Josh sighed. "... but try for me." "Ok," Greg replied in an uncommitted tone." "I know you will do your best. You always have." "Thanks dad." "Thanks for still calling me dad," Josh said back. "You will always be my dad. My father is an idiot for doing this." "Hey... be nice," Josh chuckled. "I can only try," Greg chuckled back. "I know... take care Greg." "Bye dad." Greg kept the connection running listing to the sound of his dad's breathing. It seemed both of them didn't want to end contact with each other. Finally Greg heard Josh say a final "I love you" before ending the call. Greg waited five minutes before turning off his phone. He then thought about all that Josh told him. Josh had been right; Greg needed to talk with his dad. If he was going to have any say about his life he needed to talk with the man with the most power. Taking out a piece of paper, Greg wrote down a list of "demands". When that was done Greg got up and left his room, heading for the dinning room and his father. "Dad?" Greg said when he arrived in the room. Strangers, Emily, and his dad filled the long table except for one seat. "Greg... so you finally decided to come down," Andrew said with a hint of irritation. "I told you my daughter could get him to come down," The middle age man Greg had seen in the hall grinned. "Emily didn't convince me of anything," Greg was quick to correct. "Then why have you chosen to grace us with your company?" Greg's dad asked. "I want to talk to you dad about the living arrangements." "Well take a seat so we can talk." "No... I would prefer to stand," Greg stuttered. Being under his father's glare was sucking away his backbone rapidly. If he didn't say what he wanted fast he might never get it out. "Fine," Andrew said as he threw his napkin on his plate. "First... I don't want to hear anyone bad mouth my other dad. You are not getting me to hate him. All you are doing is showing how small all of you are." "That's fine with me. I won't say anything bad about Josh but the others who live here are free to say what is on their mind... as you are right now," Andrew replied. "Second... I want to go to my old school." "No deal. I have already paid your tuition. I'm not going to shell out several thousand more dollars for you to just go to a public school." Seeing that this was not a fight he could win, Greg went to the next demand. "I want to be able to bring whoever I want over to my room... including Nathan." "Fine," Andrew said as if it were not a major issue. "I just hope you use the freedom to bring a boyfriend home one day." That stung but Greg continued. "Finally, I want all of us to go into therapy." "What?" Andrew replied in a tone that he took offense to the idea that he of all people needed therapy. "I want you, dad, me, and any of the other's from our old home to go into therapy." "I still don't see why." "Because dad, you might have broken away from the rest of the family but I have not. I want you and dad to be able to talk to each other on friendly terms." "He's not your dad," Andrew said flatly. "Yes he is... you might have left him but he still takes care of me." "I didn't leave him, He left me! I invited him to live here with us but he chose that whore Robert!" "I know, but that is no reason why the two of you can't try to be friends." "No." "Dad, I must insist." "No." "Then you better keep me locked in my room cause I will just run away to Josh every chance I get. He at least is willing to be civil." "You've been talking to him," Andrew finally realized. "While you've been giving me the cold shoulder you have been talking to Josh!" "Yes." "And it was he that talked you into this therapy idea?" "No... this is my idea and my demand." "Well I can say one thing. Me leaving Josh has given you some balls. Alright, I'll go into therapy." "Thank you dad," Greg said as he started walking out of the room. "Wait... don't you want to meet everyone?" Andrew said, offended. "They're your friends not mine, dad," Greg said as he continued to leave. When he got back to his room, Greg fell back on his bed and sighed. He couldn't believe what he just did. He had never talked back to either of his dads in his life. It felt good while scaring him at the same time. He just had to tell someone about what just happened. Emily was down stairs but he was in no mood to talk with her. Then Greg remembered what had just happened. His father had agreed that he could have anyone over he wanted. Wanting to test out this new power, Greg went for his cell phone again and called Nathan. ************************************************************* After three trips between his house and Glenn's, David was finally settled in. All his clothes, his computer, stereo, cds, and school stuff was now in the guest room. Ashley helped him put his clothes away in the dresser and closet, making fun of his underwear and jockstraps in the process. Once that was done, David went to the airport, picked his dad up from his business trip and took him to Glenn and Kyle's place. "Ok David, what is this all about?" Mike asked once he sat down in the living room. Kyle and Glenn had politely excused themselves to the patio. "And why are we meeting here?" "I have some things I want to tell you." "Alright... what?" "I'm gay." "Glad you finally could admit it to yourself enough to tell him," Mike grinned as he got up from his seat and sat next to David, giving his thigh a good squeeze. "Well I also have to tell you that I'm in love... have been so for years." "It's Nathan... I know, you lucky dog. You better hope he is gay. I can't tell with him." "He is gay or at least open to some physical male bonding." "Great... have you had a go with him yet?" "If you are asking ... have I had sex with him then no. Nate is just trying to figure out what he is right now." "But who better then you," Mike said excitedly. "That's just it, Nate has found a person to be with." "What... who... and why have you not yet scared the guy off yet." "Because Nathan likes the guy and so far he seems to be treating him nice." "But you want to be with Nathan. It is just like a sport, you have to fight hard if you are going to win." "No dad, it is not like a sport. I don't care about myself. All I want is for Nate to be happy." "But you can make him happy. I know you can son." "Yes, but maybe the other guy can make Nate happy as well. Am I to try and ruin their relationship and happiness just so I can have a go?" "Yes... you are either a winner or a loser. As far as I'm aware, Nathan wins regardless of whom he ends up with. The only issue is are you or the other guy going to be left holding the bag." "Dad... I'm not like that." "Then tell me David, how are you going to win the love of your life if you are going to play dead." "I'm not playing dead. That is why I brought you here. I have moved here." "What... I leave home for a week and the whole house falls apart." "You have no idea, dad," David sighed. "I have moved here so I can have a chance with Nate. He needs to be able to see me as something other then his brother. Sharing a room with him sort of defeats that process." "Maybe so but this is a little extreme," Mike said a little flabbergasted. "Dad I just need to be away for awhile... apart from Nate just in case." "Just in case what?" "Just in case I never see him again after I go to college. I need to get used to not having him around. I also need to see if I can fall in love with anyone besides him." "I understand. I know you are leaving home soon but was hoping we would have this last year together." "Don't worry dad, I'll be around. Nate and I agreed that we need to talk a lot with each other." "Well son, I have always felt you should be free to make your own decisions so if you think you need to do this it is fine with me." "Thanks dad," David said before giving his father a hug. "So what else has been happening while I've been gone?" Mike asked with a smile, not having a clue how much he had missed. When David told him all that had been happening, Mike had a dark look on his face. "Are you mad dad?" "Mad... no, just disappointed is all. Disappointed that Andrew is acting out, disappointed that Robert could not stay away from Josh but most of all disappointed that I told Robert not to try and get Josh back in the first place." "You told him that?" "Yep... over twelve years ago I told him he needed to move on and get over Josh. Well, he did hold back from trying to get Josh into bed but asking him to try and not be so close to Josh was a mistake." "Dad, you..." David said surprised. "Yes I know... I never admit to making mistakes. My mantra has been to live life without regrets. It took me years to see it but Robert and Josh were really meant for each other." "I know... that is why I think Andrew is so bitter." "You are most likely right... still, twelve years is a good run, straight, gay or otherwise. Josh will be 40 soon. Andrew got the best years of Josh's life." "What do you mean? Josh still looks great." "That he does still the wrinkles will come, the hair will turn more gray, sex drive will become dependent on pharmaceuticals." "Feeling your age dad?" David chuckled, laughing at the self-pity his father was showing. "Yep... now don't laugh but your old man has been on viagra for two years now." "Really... the great sex machine is now on the pill." "Hey... I can still get it up without it. I just can get it a little harder and more often with it... nothing wrong with that." "I'm sure Patrick appreciates it." "That he does," Mike grinned. Patrick, Josh's half brother was still the bright eye bushy tail red head he has always been and David's father loved him for it. The hair was now dyed and the bald spots removed by hair transplants but he still acted like a sex maniac around Mike. During their the length of their twelve year relationship the two of them tired every single fetish, position, and role playing act they could think up with. David was sure that his father had some new sex game circling in his head as a way of making to Patrick his long business trip. "Dad... why have you never married Patrick." "Well is it legal here in Kansas?" "Nope... that did not stop Josh and Andrew though." "And you saw what happened to their marriage." "Yeah... but I am sure Josh will now marry Robert as he should have always done." "True... but still I don't see the point," Mike sighed. "To prove that you love him." "I do that each time we are in bed together." "I know but still a wedding would be nice..." "You are still a romantic. When you get to my age you will see that how you act counts for more then some silly hetero tradition." "You married mom." "And except for you... that was a mistake." "Is that why you won't marry Patrick? You think that since you marriage with mom failed marrying Patrick would doom the relationship." "Hey... I thought I was suppose to be the philosopher in the family?" "You are dad, but some of it rubbed off on me," David grinned. "So you think I should really marry Patrick?" "If you both want to. I think it would be cool to call Patrick dad instead of uncle all the time." "Patrick would be really happy for you to say that to him," Mike smiled as he felt a tear build up in his left eye. "I'll think about it... but only because I think it will tickle Patrick if you called him dad." "Alright... it was nice to talk with you dad." "Same here... I'm going to miss these chats. Soon you'll be living your own life with a guy in your arms. You will be turning to him for advice instead of your old man." "Hey... I'll still turn to you." "I know you will but it won't be the same. Another person's opinions will mean more to you then mine as it should be." "I just hope it is Nate," David sighed as he rested his head on his dad's shoulder. "Well here's to hoping," Mike said as he wrapped an arm around his son's waist and gave him a hug. ******************************************************** "Greg... Nate and his friend are here," Emily said after she knocked on Greg's door. "Ok!" Greg shouted back excitedly. He jumped off the bed, unlocked his door and pulled both Nathan and Philip inside, closing the door in Emily's face. "You are not letting Emily in here?" Nathan asked confused. "Hell no," Greg said as he went back to the bed "What is she doing here anyway?" Philip grinned, liking Greg's new attitude. "She lives here believe it or not. All this time I thought her family was half normal but turns out her dad is gay." "Why did she never tell you?" "I don't know maybe she believes that everyone would think she was a lesbian or something." "She does have the stereotypical attitude," Philip laughed. "No... most lesbians I have know tend not to be such gossip hounds," Nathan said. "True... but look at the rest of her... most guys can't stand her and the few girlfriends she has she treats like peons." "Including me... but no more. You're looking at the new and improved Greg," Greg beamed with pride. "Well tell me about the new Greg," Nathan laughed as he hopped onto the bed next to him. "Well I finally stood up to dad. Told him I didn't want him bad mouthing your father around me." "Good for you!" Philip cheered. He wished he could have stood up to his dad. "You mean the name calling has already started?" Nathan sighed. "Yep... and it was Emily who started it. That is why she is off my very short friend list." "Well then just add my name to it!" Philip grinned as he joined Greg and Nathan on the bed so Greg was sandwiched between them. "Good but you need to know the rules." "Ok." "First... you need to know I am a bit of a whiner. I'm really working on it but you have to put up with it once in a while. When that happens just do what Nathan does," Greg explained "And what do you do when your brother gets whiney?" Philip asked Nathan. "I usually give him a piece of candy to suck on," Nathan smiled. "Good... I'll just need to have a supply of blow pops with me at all times," Philip chuckled. "That'll work," Greg agreed. "Second if you are a guy friend, which you are, I'll expect a lot of hugs from you until I get a boyfriend that is." "Fine with me," Philip said before pulling Greg into a hard hug. After Philip let go of him, Greg let out a relaxing breath before turning to Nathan. "Well I have to say one thing Nathan... he gives good hugs." "I know," Nathan winked. "Anything else?" Philip asked. "Yes... one more thing as I am somewhat of an artist, as my friends I expect you both to model for me." "Hey... we already did that," Nathan laughed. "Yeah but I want to do a group picture, specify you and Philip together. I've never done a male couple before." "Well we are not sure if we are a couple. We're still trying to figure things out," Philip explained to the great relief on Nathan. "Awwww, come on. The two of you look good together. Can't you at least pretend for my sake?" Greg pouted. "Well Nate... do you think we can give Greg a show?" Philip asked while wiggling his eyebrows up and down. " "If you're up to it," Nathan laughed. "Oh I'm not up yet but I'm sure I can get there real soon," Philip smiled evilly. It might have been that he had never done a nude sketch or the fact that Greg was really curious about the remaining parts of Philip he had not seen yet but after much cajoling and help from Philip, Greg was able to talk the two of them to strip down to nothing. He had Philip sit Indian style in the middle of the bed with Nathan sitting in his lap, his calves wrapped around Philip's back. Philip had to wrap his arms around Nathan to insure that Nate wouldn't fall off. To add a final touch, Greg and Nathan rest his forehead on Philip's. "Perfect... now all you have to do is hold still," Greg grinned as he began to draw. That turned out to be very hard to do. Between the kisses they would give each other and the two hardons that popped into view the two of them were laughing most of the time. Greg also had the problem of concentrating. Greg felt and treated Nathan like a brother but seeing him naked and erect could not help but give him a boner. Fighting his urge to pull down his pants and jack off, Greg hurried to finish the sketch. It was near the end that he had to make a decision... to keep or exclude the boner's Nathan and Philip were throwing. They stood in view for all to see but Greg didn't want to embarrass Nathan in drawing them. Greg struggled with it for almost three minutes as he worked on other parts of the drawing. In the end though the need to be true to what was really happening over rode his embarrassment. Taking a bit of artistic licenses Greg drew the top of Philip's dick resting against the shaft of Nathan's. When he was done, Greg took a moment to admire his work. It was erotic without being tawdry, showing true affection between the subjects. Both of them might have said they were not a couple yet but pictures don't lie... there was feeling between the two. "I'm done," Greg finally declared, happy with his work. "Good," Nathan sighed as he allowed himself to fall back onto the mattress. Greg watched as Philip's eyes never left Nathan's dick. "Greg... can we use your bathroom," Philip asked as he licked his lips. "Sure... I think I have some business to take care of as well," Greg replied as he looked down at the tent in his pants. "Come on hon... you've been taunting me with that cock of yours for the past 45 minutes. Time you let me have it," Philip said as he pulled Nathan off the bed. "Bye Greg," Nathan blushed as he was led to the bathroom. "Bye Nathan," Greg smiled as he headed for the bed, already working his pants off. "Not a couple... my ass," Greg said to himself as he freed his cock. Between looking at his sketch and the moans coming from the bathroom, Greg had all the stimulus he needed to keep himself hard. "Come on Nate, just give it a lick," Greg heard Philip encourage. "I've never done this." "It's ok, you don't have to." "No... I want to. I just don't know how to do this." "Just run your tongue across it," Philip encouraged. "Ok... like this" "Oh yes that's nice." "Oh my god..." Greg told himself. His brother was giving head one door away. "It's getting hard," Greg heard Nathan's voice say after a moment of silence broken only by the random moan from Philip. "It likes you," Philip chuckled back. "Let me show you." "Oh man..." Nathan's sigh came out. "See how to do it now. You need to suck and nibble on it... oh yes that's it Nate. You're a natural. "My brother is a natural cock sucker?" Greg couldn't help but laugh.
