Hello! You are about to read a work of fiction about gay high school students finding out what gay life (including sex) is all about. If you find this material offensive, go elsewhere. If you are under 18, go elsewhere.

This is the tenth installment of Collision. I'm sorry it took me a while to write, but it's here now. By the way, thanks for all the wonderful comments I've received in the past. I really do appreciate them. I'd like to thank especially in no particular order BJ and Eric Adam for helping me continue the series, giving me drive and threats to continue it. And now

Collision, Part X

By Joey E

Brett finally went back inside his house, never saying any thing to his parents in the living room as he passed by to go upstairs to his room. He was devastated to say the least. He had felt like he just lost his best friend, which he practically did. He couldn't believe Pete reacted that way. He collapsed on his bed and threw his face into his pillow and let out deep sobs. Memories, good and bad, plagued his head from childhood, growing up with Pete, and it didn't do him any good to think about them.

Suddenly, he felt a hand on his back. He turned around, tears in his eyes, to see who was there.

"Ryan?" he asked, wiping the tears off his face.

"Brett...." was all Ryan could say as he sat down on the bed next to him. Brett moved over, and Ryan laid down next to him. He hated seeing Brett like this, a big guy, in so much pain. And he wanted to make sure that the pain went away. So he wrapped his arms around Brett and held him tightly. Brett started to tear up again and Ryan just held him tighter.

"I thought you might need me in this time," Ryan finally said, kissing Brett on the back of the neck. "Eric called me, and told me to rush over to your house. He sort of told me why. He tried to come over here first, but your parents said you weren't home then. So when he got home, he called me and told me you really needed to see me."

Brett, who was laying in front of Ryan just pressed Ryan's arms closer to his body . "Thanks."

"Where is he now?"

"Who knows?"

"He did go over to Eric's and Eric came out to him too," Ryan said.

"Oh shit!!"

"Yeah, it should be an interesting night ahead of us. Where's he gonna stay now?" Ryan asked.

"I don't know. His shit is still here. What am I going to tell my parents?"

"Well he's only here for the weekend right? He could make an early trip home."

"You know, I'm thinkin' that's what he'll probably do."

Just then, there was a knock on the bedroom door. Ryan let go of Brett and quickly stood up.

"Come in," Brett said.

Pete appeared in the doorway. Brett gasped. Ryan turned away and looked into a corner of the room.

"I'm just here for my stuff. I'm gonna leave now," Pete said, softly.

Brett just nodded to him. Pete came in, gathered up his things. Ryan glanced back at Peter when his back was turned. But was too late at turning when Pete turned around.

"What?" Pete asked, looking directly at Ryan.

"Huh?" Ry asked, not feeling too friendly to Pete right now.

"Why were you lookin' at me?"

"Aw, leave him alone," Brett said, groaning.

"Forget it, Brett. I can handle him," Ry said. "Pete, Brett's a great guy. He's a great friend, one of the best you'll ever find. And you want to throw that all away because of one little thing. You're crazy, man. You're absolutely crazy."

"Ah, shut up, what do you know?" Pete asked, with an edge to his voice.

"A lot more than you," Ry said, in a low controlled tone.

"Oh really?"

"Guys, shut up!" Brett yelled.

"No, YOU shut up! Ryan yelled. "What's wrong with him? Why don't you want him as a friend? He's still the same person, he's still the same Brett. Only you're too thick headed to believe it!"

Brett was shocked at Ry's reaction. He just kept quiet and watched.

"No he ain't! HE never will be, as long as he's a freakin' faggot," Pete said, glaring at Brett.

Brett jumped off his bed and stood right in Pete's face. "Get out of here."

Peter turned around, grabbed his bag, and walked out of the room. They both could here him saying bye to Brett's parents and finally leaving.

Ryan saw the weak look in Brett's eyes again, and grabbed him to give him a strong hug. Brett kissed Ry on the cheek and pulled him as close as he could.

"God, why does it have to be this way?" Ryan asked. "I'm sorry if I talked to your friend that way. I don't know what came over me. I just felt so pissed off that I..."

"It's okay, Ry. I understand. It's okay."

Ry took a quick glance at the alarm clock. "Shit! I have to be home, it's midnight! You sure you're okay?"

"Yes, I'm all right," Brett said, letting Ryan go.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure," Brett said. "You go on home. I'll be okay. I'm awfully glad you came by though. You don't know how much you mean to me, Ryan."

Ryan looked Brett in the eyes. He smiled and gave Brett a hug. "If you need me, just call me. Okay?"

"Sure thing, bud," Brett said, kissing Ryan on the lips. "Now go on home, before you get in trouble!"

Ryan left and went home. His parents were in bed, but there was a note on the kitchen table. It read..."Dan called. He wants you to call him back whenever you get in.."

That's funny, thought Ryan. He didn't even know that Dan had his phone number. But, he took the cordless phone, and went out to the garage so no one would wake up.

He called and someone picked up during the first ring.

"Hello?"

"Dan?"

"Yeah.."

'You called? It's Ry."

"Oh, hey, Ryan."

"What's up?"

"Well, the reason I called was because, well, I had a bit of a problem," Dan said.

"What was that?"

"My bro caught me and Joe makin' out in my room tonight."

"Oh, how old is your brother?"

"14. It's better now, but I'm still a little scared. Joe freaked. That's mainly why I called you."

'Where is Joe now?" I asked, in shock over this whole night.

"He's home. He left shortly after. He didn't say much. I didn't think it was that bad, but he freaked and went home."

"Shit. I hope he's all right."

"He should be," Dan said. "I just didn't know what to do though about Joe. So in a panic, I called you."

"That's all right, man. I'm sorry I wasn't home to talk to you. But I had an equally catastrophic evening."

"Oh, shit. Well, Ry, what are you doing tomorrow?"

"I have no idea. Why?"

"Well, I wanted to know if you wanted to come along with Joe and I and hang out with us? I think us fellow homos need to stick together more."

"Good point," I said, agreeing. "Well, I'll see what I can do. Call me tomorrow afternoon, and maybe we can arrange something."

"Cool, I'll talk to you later, Ry."

"See ya, " Ry said.

Ry went up stairs and crashed into my bed, falling asleep almost instantaneously.

"RYAN!" yelled his mother from downstairs. Ry jumped up in his bed. He looked over at his radio clock which said 12:00 PM.

"Ryan? Are you up?"

"Yeah, mom," Ry yelled back.

"Phone's for you."

"Okay," he responded, getting up to get the phone. He picked it up.

"Okay mom, I got it," He said. He waited to say hello until he heard his mom hang up.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Ry. It's Dan. So you still want to get together today?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah...that's right. Sure. Sorry, man, I just woke up."

"Oh, sorry, didn't mean to wake you."

"No, no that's okay."

They talked and planned to meet at a local diner to eat lunch/breakfast in about an hour. Ry was hoping Brett would be free to go along too. He got off the phone and called his boyfriend. Luckily, he was free, and willing to go.

Ry went over to pick up Brett at his house. "Hey studly!" Brett said, getting into the car.

"Hey, Brett. You ready?"

"Yep. How are you?"

"Pretty good," Ry answered, putting the party wagon into gear and drove off.

"How are you from last night, man? You okay?" Ry asked, taking Brett's hand and holding it.

"Yeah, I'm okay I guess. I mean, it hurts me a lot if I think about it. But I'm just glad I have you, man. I love you, babe."

Ry just looked at Brett. He was shocked to hear that come out of Brett's mouth. While he was expecting it for some reason, he was still shocked.

"Wh-h-at did you just say?" Ry asked.

"I said, I love you," Brett said, with the most sincere look on his face.

"Wow. I don't think you ever told me that before, Brett."

"Well, now I said it. I love you."

Ry held Brett's hand tighter. "I love you too, Brett. With all my heart. I love you."

They stayed silent the rest of the way to the diner. When they got there, Joe and Dan were already outside the diner waiting for what they thought would only be Ryan. But they were a little surprised to see two faces in Joe's car.

"who's that?" Joe asked.

Dan looked, trying to make out the face, but couldn't. "I don't know. Maybe it's his boyfriend."

They both stepped out of the car. "SHIT!" Dan gasped. "That's Brett!"

"Brett, the quarterback?" Joe asked.

Ry and Brett walked up to them. Dan and Joe just had surprised faces.

"Hey Joe and Dan, this is Brett. Brett this is Joe and Dan," Ryan said.

"So, that is why you were watching him so closely," Dan said. "I thought it was just because you had a crush on him."

Brett and Ry both blushed. "Well, shall we go in?" Brett asked.

They all went in, Joe and Dan both asked for smoking. So, they all went to the smoking section.

"You play the freakin' sax and you both smoke?" asked Ryan.

"Yeah, well, he got me started," Joe answered.

Dan punched Joe jokingly. "He's lying."

There was an air of awkwardness to start out with. Brett sort of felt like the outsider, even though he knew both of them through school. Joe and Dan were feeling a little uncomfortable because of this big jock sitting with them. And Ryan was feeling a little uncomfortable because everyone else felt uncomfortable.

"So, Joe, what did it feel like to be walked in on?" Ry asked, finally trying to break the ice. Unfortunately, Ry wasn't known for his tactfulness at times.

"What?" Joe asked, looked completely freaked. "You told him?" he asked Dan.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, I didn't know who else to talk to! You ran off in a panic!" Dan said, raising his voice a little.

"Yeah, well, I didn't know what to do. First Ry catches us, and then your brother? Who next? Your mother?" Joe asked.

"Probably," Brett said, softly to no one in particular. Ryan punched Brett lightly. Dan looked over at Brett, taking one look and then breaking out into a fit of laughter. Joe looked at Dan as if he were crazy.

"You think this is funny?" Joe asked.

"Oh, come on, Joe, lighten up. It was only my brother, man. He's cool with it. Relax...."

Joe shut his mouth, but still looked a little tense. Dan stopped laughing, and the silence was resumed. Finally the waitress came by to order. Joe was sitting on one side with Dan, and Brett was sitting with Ry on the other side of the booth.

"So, how long have you been together?" Brett finally asked.

"About two years. We were always close friends, and then one night..." Dan started saying.

"All right, I think they get the picture," Joe said.

"Joe, man," Ry said, "Lighten up! It's okay. We're all in the same boat here."

"I just feel so uncomfortable sometimes. I just don't like talking about these things out in public."

"Even if you're boyfriend is here with you?" asked Brett, quietly.

"Yes. He does," Dan said. "I don't blame him though."

"Well, you know what guys?" Ry asked. "I've been thinkin, we should go to Philly on a Wednesday night. There's this club that has an under 21 night. And we're all over 18 aren't we?"

"Yeah, we are," Dan said. "I think I've actually heard of it."

"How do you know all of this shit?" Brett asked, smiling.

"I have my ways," Ry said with a smirk on his face.

"Oh really?" Brett asked, smiling back.

"Oh yes," said Ryan still smiling.

"Well, then is it settled? Will your parents let you out?" Brett asked Dan and Joe.

"I'm sure they wont' be too thrilled, but I can convince them. What about you?" Dan asked Joe.

"Yeah, I'm sure I can convince them," Joe said smiling.

"How about you?" asked Brett to Ry.

"Of course! I'll just tell my parents that I'm spending the night with you, if that's okay?"

"You can spend any night with me, babe," Brett said, softly, looking intensely into Ryan's eyes.

So the newly formed foursome finally made it to Wednesday without any major trouble. They all thought the day would never end. Finally, Brett pulled up to Joe's house.

"Now, you are going to school tomorrow, aren't you?" his Mom asked, as Joe was going out the door with his backpack full of clothes and books for tomorrow.

"Yes mom, don't worry!"

"Okay, honey, be careful!"

God, thought Ryan, it almost sounds like she knew that he was up to something.

Surprised, he found there to be another person in the SUN.

"Look who decided to come along," Brett said, pointing to the back when Ry hopped in. Ry turned around and was surprised to see Eric.

"Hey ERIC! You coming with us?"

"Yeah, I decided, what the hell? It might be fun! I've never been to a gay bar!"

"Neither have we," Brett said, putting the SUV in gear and they were off to pick up Dan and Joe. They were both over at Joe's house, so it was easy to find them, since Joe lived about two miles away from Ryan.

They all were headed to the city, about a half an hour away, with Brett Driving and Ryan being the co-pilot. They amazingly found it with ease and headed towards the club from the parking lot they parked in.

"Are you ready?" Brett asked Ry, as the stood outside the door to the club.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Ryan responded. "Are you ready?"

"Yep!" Dan replied, smiling. Joe smiled too.

They climbed up the stairways. Let me explain how Woody's is set up. It's a gay club in Philly. Wednesdays night is All Ages night. There are two floors to the club. There's a downstairs with two bars, a main one and a side one, and also a café too. Then upstairs, there is an upstairs bar, and the main dance floor with two bars inside the dance area. During All Ages night, the kiddies (under 21 crowd) are kept in the dance floor area, and they just sell soda and water at the bars there. So, that's where the foursome is headed.

What Brett, Eric, Ry, Joe, and Dan saw, blew their mind away. They were let in, all with proper ID, and it was about 11PM when they got inside. They saw guys their own age and older. They saw two guys making out at the bar. They saw couples, holding hands, dancing together on the dance floor. They felt like they were in heaven.

Dan pulled out a cigarette. Joe lit it for him. Brett and Ry noticed.

"I would do that for you, babe, but you don't smoke," Brett joked.

"True. But it is the thought that counts," said Ry, watching a cute boy walk past them. He was brought back to the present with a slap on the head from Brett.

"You're supposed to be looking at me!" Brett laughed.

"Sorry, Brett. You are mine. And I'm yours. I know, but I just can't help looking, man!"

"It's okay, babe. Have fun, but don't act on any impulses unless they're directed towards me. By the way, you wanna dance?" Brett asked, feeling the urge to bust a move on the crowded dance floor.

"Sure!" Ry said, starting to move towards the dance floor. Suddenly, he felt Brett take his hand. Ry reacted in shock, but Brett calmed him immediately.

"It's okay, babe. Remember where you are!"

"They look happy together don't they?" Eric asked Joe and Dan.

"Yeah, they do. Really happy." Dan was sitting down on a stool, and Joe was standing in front of him, Dan's arms wrapped around him.

"Hey, do you dance?" Eric asked Joe and Dan.

"He does," Dan said. "I don't!"

"But you're gay, you supposed to love it!" Eric joked.

"No, no, I'm white and I'm butch," Dan said with a smile. "I can't! But you go ahead Joe. Dance with Eric. It'll be fun!"

Joe gave Dan a slightly worried look, but went with Eric, looking back at Dan all the time. Soon, the music engulfed Joe and he was soon more focused on the music and dancing. Eric was impressed at how little Joe moved his body around the floor. In fact, it sort of turned him on. Joe was looking at no one in particular as he closed his eyes to feel the music better. However, when he opened them, he was acutely aware that Eric was watching his every move. He felt relaxed though and just smiled at Eric to which Eric smiled back. They had moved closer together, since the dance floor was getting more crowded. Occasionally, they would bump into each other, and apologize. However, it became apparent to both of them that each were turned on by the other. Joe had never seen anyone dance as seductively as Eric, putting his whole body into the movement. Finally, Joe accidently bumped into Eric, as he was turning around in his dance. And Eric just grinded into Joe harder. Joe found this strangely amusing and quite erotic, as he had never experienced this before.

Soon, if you'd ask them, it's not clear to either of them why it happened, but Eric had his arms around Joe. And they were grinding to the music, Eric's hard cock pressed up against Joe's tight virgin ass. It was hot. And didn't go unnoticed by quite a number of people.

"DAMN!!" Ry exclaimed to Brett still on the dance floor and dancing the night away. "What the hell is with Eric and Joe?"

"I don't know, but I hope Dan doesn't see it," Brett said.

"If he hasn't seen it yet, he's blind," Ry said, sadly. "I know how Eric can be."

"Yeah, I know!"

"Well, what should we do? Should we try to break it up?"

"I don't know," Brett said, leaving the dance floor. Ry followed him, his hand in Brett's. "But I think we should find Dan."

Dan saw it all right, he was over in the corner, smoking his Marlboro Menthol Light Cigarette, looking confused and hurt. Brett and Ry practically ran over to him. When they got there though, they didn't know what quite to say. So they just looked at him.

"Did you see that?" Dan said, with tears in his eyes, pointing out to the dance floor.

Brett and Ryan shook their head yes.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" screamed Dan above the pounding bass line of the dance music.

"Dan, man...."

"I'm gonna go right over there and beat his ass!" Dan said, getting up to walk over.

"Dan, wait!" Brett said, holding Dan back by the arm. "You can't just beat his ass. Eric is a strong guy, he'd kill you!"

"Well, then what am I going to do?"

"I'm not sure man, I'm just not sure."

They stood at the bar, each ordering a coke. Dan was standing on the end. Just as he was looking over to see what Joe and Eric were doing, he caught a glimpse of a beautiful, cute face looking at him out of the corner of his eyes. Dan turned his head and looked more closely at this kid. Yeah, he was cute all right, Dan thought. 5'6", maybe 130lbs, brown short hair, blue eyes, dressed in a t-shirt and cargo pants.

Ryan and Brett looked at Dan to make sure he was okay, and saw this look on Dan's face. They both looked in the direction that Dan was looking, and noticed this cute young face looking back at Dan and smiling. The face started coming closer and closer, as he made his way closer to the bar. This kid was gorgeous.

"Damn, who's that?" Brett asked, smiling at Ry. Ry jokingly hit him in the head.

To his surprise, the kid started talking to Dan right away.

"Hi,: he said.

"Uh, hi," Dan. answered, not knowing what to say.

"Your first time here?" the kid asked.

"Yeah, man. What about you?"

"Oh no way. I'm over 21 man. I come here every now and then," the stranger said.

"Really? You look like you're no older than 18," Dan said, smiling at him. He looked him up and down a couple of times now that he was next to him.

The guy blushed, and said, "Thanks."

"By the way, what's your name?" the kid asked.

"Dan, how bout yourself?"

"I'm Dave," he said, sticking out his hand to shake hands. Dan immediately shook hands with this hunk of man. The lingering handshake said it all on both sides of the parties.

"Hey Dan!" Joe yelled out, coming near them. Dan immediately broke the handshake.

"Well, it's about time you got here," Dan said, looking a little more than upset at Joe.

"Sorry man, I was having fun!"

"Yeah, I'll bet you were," Dan said, looking directly at Eric, who was coming up behind Joe.

"Well, I gotta go to the bathroom. I'll be right back," Joe said.

"I'll come with you," Eric said, following Joe. Ry and Brett just held each other, watching this whole disaster take place.

Dan returned his attention to this new kid named Dave. "So, who was that?" Dave asked.

"Oh, that was my boyfriend, Joe," Dan answered kind of roughly.

"He was your boyfriend? I wouldn't have guessed man. He looked like he was with that other guy."

"Yeah, well, I thought he was my boyfriend until tonight...now I"m not sure," Dan said, looking down at the bar.

"Well, man, do you dance?"

"No, I can't"

"Oh, come on, I bet you're a good dancer.." Dave said, pulling Dan by the arm.

"No, no...."

"Come on, man, for me? Dance with me," Dave said smiling at Dan.

"Oh, all right," Dan said, finding it hard to resist this cute guy begging him to come on to the dance floor with him. It was sufficiently crowded, so Dan wouldn't be that conspicuous.

"You know Brett?"

"What?" asked Brett.

"I think this could become a very interested and twisted and ridiculous evening," Ry said, holding Brett's hand.

Well, what did you think of this part? I didn't turn out the way I had planned it to. I hope it was adequate enough though. Please send any comments to SNJBoy76@aol.com Thanks! By the way, please let me know if you think this series is dead or it still has more life in it. Thanks!
