He was wearing a black cowboy hat and his medium blue T-shirt which showed every muscle he had in his upper body. The jeans, of course, were his signature Wranglers with a blue braided belt capped off by yet another huge buckle. Those jeans showed off every curve and bulge in his lower body. On his feet, of course, were his standard black dusty cowboy boots that made him look like he had just come in off the range from a round up. He was wearing a cologne I didn't recognize, but it didn't matter. He smelled good enough to devour. "I told you that you don't have to knock! Just come in," I reminded him. "Yeah, I know, I am just nervious as shit. I am about as shaky as a heifer giving birth," Cutter quipped. I burst out in a huge laugh. He shot back defensively, "Shut up, Cole! You know these people, and I don't. What if they think I am some hayseed or something?" "Shit, dude, that's what you are! A hayseed from Wyoming," I replied. Then I saw that the joke I tried to maked hadn't helped any in chasing away his tension. "They won't think that, I promise. They will love you just like I do. Come on in and follow me. I have something that will settle you down a bit." Cutter followed me straight to the kitchen. I opened the cupboard next to the frig. I pulled out a bottle and handed to to Cutter. He looked at it, then opened it and took a large draw of the whiskey inside. "This is our personal supply," I said. "If anyone else wants anything, they can bring their own. I've got two bottles in here, so it's more than enough." "Thanks, Cole! I needed that. I feel better now. And thanks for doing this, too." "No need to thank me, dude. It's a party! Besides, we really need to thank the 'rents for the party." Cutter and I went and started the music just as the doorbell rang. Both of us headed to the front door and opened it, and there stood Max and Rory. I stepped back and let them come in. They both stared at Cutter like he was from another world. "Max ... Rory ... this is Cutter, my next door neighbor and new friend," I said. Cutter, being nervous, just raised his hand and said, "Nice to meet you guys." "Nice to meet you, too," they said as they hurried past Cutter and into the kitchen to find a hiding spot for their own bottle. Cutter turned to me and said, "I don't think they like me very much. They probably think I am a hillbilly. Maybe I should have borrowed some clothes from you." "Oh, no, you don't. Remember what you told me up at the cabin? You're you, and you don't change for anyone. So don't go pulling that crap with me now. You're you, so damn it, be you! Screw them if they don't like it. Besides, they are fine! Don't be so paranoid," I admonished Cutter. He got a small smile on his face. "Thanks, Cole. It means a lot you saying that." "No problem, man." I said as I extended my fist and bumped fists with the cowboy. The doorbell rang again. It was Rob and Keenan along with their girls, Karen and Mandy. We all greeted each other and hugged. I made the introductions to Cutter. They were more sociable toward Cutter than Max and Rory had first been, especially the girls. Just as I was finishing that set of introductions, Andy and Steve, the twins, walked in with Kristen and Mary. It turned out I did know their new girlfriends. It always seemed when one twin dumped a girl, the other one did also, and likewise, when one had a new girl so did the other one. It was weird. Cutter at this point was looking a little nervous and was obviously not sure if anyone cared for him or not. But when we finished up with the latest round of introductions, Steve put his arm around Cutter and said, "I think it's time we get something to drink. What do you say?" Cutter just shrugged his shoulders and didn't resist one bit. All of the girls seemed to gather in one area of the living room chatting about whatever they had on their minds. The boys congregated in the kitchen either sitting on the counter or leaning against one of the cabinets. After a bit, everyone seemed to be getting along fine. Cutter at last seemed okay, and people were slowly getting to know him. That made me happy. We ordered pizza, and it arrived about an hour after the party started. I got busy putting it out in the dining room when Cutter came in. "How's it goin'?" I asked. "I don't know ... they all seem nice and friendly and all ... I'm just not sure if they like me." "You're fine," I said supportively. "If you say so," Cutter said, but he still didn't seem all that convinced. By then the vultures smelled the food and invaded the dining room. We were about half done eating when Kimmy and Cammy arrived. Kimmy came up behind me and wrapped her arms around me in a huge hug. When I turned around her lips met mine. We had a nice little kiss. No one thought anything about it, except for the odd look that suddenly clouded Cutter's face. When I introduced them, Cutter looked shocked when I said Kimmy was my girlfriend. What seemed even more shocking to him was that Cammy immediately began sticking to him like glue. Her slut side was coming out and she was obviously moving in on her prize for the night. As the evening wore on, everyone seemed to be getting along well. Cutter was finally fitting in. Kimmy told me she was not drinking and that her and Cammy couldn't stay the night. She said they would leave around one. While Cutter seemed to be joking and getting along with everyone else, he had become very short with me and even seemed to ignore me. Whenever I came into a room, he either didn't acknowledge me or he left and went someplace else. When I was in the kitchen alone with Keenan he said, "Cutter seems cool! He should fit in fine. But, dude! You got to do something about the way he dresses. Can you say `hick'?" I shook my head and walked out. I think Keenan knew I was pissed. I looked around and everyone seemed to be doing their own thing. Cutter seemed to be missing, but I didn't think much about it right away. I was talking with Max and Rory. They really liked Cutter so far from what they told me. I decided I had better go in search of Cutter and find out if something was wrong. I looked about everywhere—the backyard, the garage, and the last place I could think of was my room. I thought maybe he needed a break. Without thinking, I opened the door and took two steps into the room before I froze dead solid in my tracks. I literally could not believe my eyes. I'm not sure I even blinked. Cutter was lying naked on his back in the center of my bed. Now, if that had been the only thing I saw, I would have been more than happy. Instead, Cammy, the slut, was straddled over Cutter's hips and midsection. She had herself impaled on his very hard, stiff cock. In my state of confusion I couldn't move for a second. I just stood there with my mouth wide open and looking stupid, I am sure. Cammy never missed a beat. I am sure she knew I was there, but the slut just kept fucking him. Cutter's eyes met mine. At first I did not know how to read them. It seemed like I was seeing shock, then hurt, then anger, and even sorrow. When I finally came to my senses, I turned and made a hasty retreat. I closed the door behind me. Once out in the hall I leaned against the door and took a deep breath. All I could think about was that I had lost him. Cutter was not gay, after all. Even if he wasn't gay, though, why that slut? Of all people, why her? First, I felt so hurt. It was the same hurt I felt when Randy left, but then that hurt feeling began to turn to anger. I went out the back door. I went back to the side of the shed. I lit up a cigarette and slid down so I could sit quietly next to the building. No one would find me there, and I didn't care if they missed me. To be continued...
