( ( ( ( ( Summer vacation, every kids dream right? That's exactly how I felt, until I found out that I was being shipped to Florida for the next two weeks. No, it's not the good kind of Florida either; I am being sent to stay with my grandparents in a retirement home. Wait, I'm sorry, an "elderly village" as my parents delightfully put it. They tell me it will be good for me, bonding with my grandparents and all. Yeah right. Why would any sane person want to stay with a bunch of old people whose deodorizer smells worse than any form of body odor? My parents tell me that I will have a good time and probably meet a good boy down there. If you hadn't figured it out, I am a boy myself. That's right. I like other boys; I'm gay. I'm out to my parents and my best friend Addie, but that's it. My parents took it very well that their only child was gay, I am very thankful for that. They have given me my space to grow sexually. Now that I think about it, my ex-boyfriend Robert knows as well, but fuck him. The bastard cheated behind my back last fall and when I found out I dumped his ass on the curb. I have been happily single ever since. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, my name is Eric, Eric Hunts. I have sand colored, highlighted hair and blue eyes. My ex-boyfriend told me that I had the best body at our school; he would know, the fucking slut. Oh well, I refuse to be hurt by another bastard ever again. They told me that I never know what could be in store for me down there, that I may have an adventure. What adventure can you have with someone over sixty who gets their main source of entertainment from watching the Wheel? I'll tell you who will be having the adventure, my damn parents. They are going on a big two-week cruise in the Caribbean. The assholes say that they need some time to themselves and that this would be the honeymoon that they never got to have. It's not my fault that they didn't have a honeymoon, yet I am the one being punished for it. "It's just not fair Addie. They always punish me with shit like this." I whined to Addie on the way to the airport. She had volunteered to go with my parents and me to the airport. She wanted to see me off I guess, a final farewell before my departure to hell. "I mean, I'm a good kid, right?" I said, pleading with her to agree with me. "Sure you are." She said with a chipper smile. "Um... there is that one time where you... uh..." she said with a contorted look on her face, as if she was actually straining to think of a good deed that I had done. "Oh! I know, how about that one time when you helped that kid in the wheel chair. Wait, he ended up at the bottom of the stairs, never mind." She said with an I-didn't-mean-to-bring-up-something-so-bad look on her face. "We're almost there honey." My mom called from the driver's seat. "You better be gathering up your things, sweetie, that you brought along with you to occupy yourself on the flight." She said, I noticed her sickeningly sweet smile reflecting at me in the rearview mirror. She's such a bitch. "That's true son. You know how you are when you don't have your game boy on a long trip." My dad added his two cents into the mix. The bastard is always doing that. He thinks if someone doesn't know his opinion on every subject that the world may just shut down. People tell me that I look like my dad, but I sure hope they're wrong. I don't want to have to try the same pathetic attempt to keep hair that he uses; comb-overs are a futile way to hide baldness. Ugh... and those glasses. My parents are such dorks. I hate them for ruining the first two weeks of summer for me. They're assholes, but, as my memory recalls, my grandparents aren't that bad. Actually, the last time I went and visited them I had some amount of fun. But I was also seven the last time I went to see them, so I could have sat there and watched the seven hundred club with them and thought I was having the most fun of my life. I just hope that it wasn't my pathetic seven-year-old mind making up the amount of fun I had. "I won't, trust me." I said, rolling my eyes. I haven't played with my damn game boy in two or three years. They are total dumbasses. "Do you own a game boy?" Addie whispered into my ear. "Not in a long time." ( ( ( ( ( The rest of the car ride was uneventful and, if at all possible, aggravating. Simply due to the fact that my parents kept looking at me with a smug look on their faces that screamed 'you're fucked for the next two weeks, have fun' and I hated it. "Have you gotten his stuff loaded up onto the trolley, dear?" My mom questioned my father with a worried look on her face. I stuffed my suit case full with ultra fabulous clothes, because even if I am going to be in dead-wood Florida, I still need to look my best. My dad was struggling with the thing, it had to be heavy. I had packed several books, along with at least thirty outfits. Did I mention that this thing was freaking huge? "I've got it." My dad said just as the vein over his right eye started to pop out. "What did you pack in this thing kiddo?" my dad questioned me as he finally managed to get the suitcase onto the cart. "Just what any typical teenager would." I responded putting on my large vintage big-lensed style sunglasses. I am very into fashion. I made my way through the terminal door, working my stuff, strutting it for all the guys out there. I am definitely going to get laid on this 'vacation' even if I have to hire one of those damn male escorts. "You're going the wrong way sweetie, your loading port is over here." My mom stopped, motioning me toward my gate. I rolled my eyes at her and brushed my highlighted hair out of my eyes. I can't wait to get away from these dumb fucks. The only person that I am truly going to miss is Addie, she is my bitch, we do everything together. She was the first person that I ever came out to and she was so awesome about it, she really encouraged me to come out to my parents. She also hooked me up with my first boyfriend, the bastard. We got to the gate, where airport security won't let you any farther unless you have a ticket, and this is where the goodbyes started flowing in. My mom started first, of course with the tears. "Two weeks without seeing my baby." She balled, throwing her arms around me in a motherly death grip. She laid her head on my shoulder and I could feel the warmth of her tears soaking through my shirt. "Quit mom, you're gonna ruin my shirt." I silently scolded into her ear. She stood back and smiled, looking me up, then down. "My baby is almost grown up, I am really gonna miss you Eric. I just want you to know how much we love you." She said, putting her arm around my dad and squeezing him as if to reassure herself. "We really will miss you son." My dad chipped in with his little crooked smile. "Well, it was your guys' damn idea. So I hope you have fun on your honeymoon." I said, a little more bitterly than I intended to. I turned to Addie and this is where my eyes started welling up. I have never gone two weeks without seeing her. She even tried to convince her parents to let her come with me, but they wouldn't let her. We did everything together, so two weeks without her is going to be really hard. I remember this one time when we were six, she was going on vacation to the Bahamas and I threw such a temper tantrum that my parents agreed to let me go. To bad those don't work now or I would be throwing one right in the middle of this damn airport. "I'm gonna miss you bitch." I said throwing my arms over her shoulder. "I don't know what I'm gonna do without you for two weeks. Have we ever been apart this long?" I asked her pulling her closer to me. "I don't think so. I am gonna miss you so much. My first two weeks of summer are not gonna be any fun with out you. Who am I supposed to scope out hot guys with, right?" She said her voice cracking from the tears that she was trying to fight back. I chuckled into her ear. She buried her face into my shoulder. "We'll talk every night. Thank god for the miracles of modern technology. I'll call you every night on your cell." I barely made out what she said through her muffled voice. "Okay, that's a deal." I said kissing the top of her head. "All passengers on flight 209 to Tampa, please report to the terminal for loading." I heard a nasally voice report over the intercom. "That's me." I stated as I pulled from Addie's embrace. "I'll see you in two weeks baby." My mom said, her voice straining against her tears. "We'll miss ya bud." My dad added as he gave me a final wave. "Call me when you land, okay?" Addie asked as I pulled out the handle on my suitcase. "Sure." I said as I flipped my hair back and proceeded through the security check and then onto the plane that was about to take me to my summer hell. ( ( ( ( ( "Would you like some complimentary peanuts sir?" A lovely young stewardess asked me and she bent down a little too far to reveal some rather disgusting cleavage. Breasts are so gross, especially when they are falling out of a horrendous orange polyester suit. "No thank you." I said as I readjusted my sight forward to stare at the shockingly old in-flight movie. "And I'm gay." I whispered into her ear since it was so close. She straightened herself back up, pursed her lips, and continued down the aisle to 'service' some one else. This is going to be a five-hour flight with absolutely nothing to do. It's times like these I wish that I had that game boy, but I am almost a grown man, surely I can find something to keep myself occupied for the time being. "What is your name sweetie?" This rather old woman asked, with my luck she was seated right beside me. I hope she falls asleep soon, I don't want to be stuck having to talk to her for this whole flight. "Eric, and what is yours?" I asked figuring that I might as well get the small talk and pleasantries over with sooner rather than later. I mean, I do I have to scope out some hot guys on this plane, you never know who I may run into once it lands. "Eleanor James. You know, I have a grandson about your age." She said as she pulled a book out of her purse. She was a little woman, very frail looking. She stood at about five foot four, and you could tell her age by the deep creases that indented her face. But all in all she was your typical cute old lady. "You do?" I asked, liking the sound of this. Boys fascinate me, what can I say? Straight, bi, or gay, they were always on my mind. "Yes, his name is Jackson Main. He is a wonderful boy, so well behaved and polite. You know, he makes top marks in his class." She said as she started digging around in her immensely large purse. "That is very good. I am sure that he would be quit charming to meet. Are you going to visit him, Mrs. James?" I asked very politely, trying to come up with as much small talk as I could to tire her out, that way she would hurry and shut the hell up. Old people can be so aggravating, unless they are giving you useful information, which happens on rare occasions. "Why yes dear. His father and mother, my daughter, live in Tampa near the Shady Springs retirement center. Which is fortunate for me, that way I can socialize with people my age, while they are off doing their own thing. I really would hate to keep them tied up for a full three weeks." She giggled and she finally retrieved what she was looking for in her over sized pocket book. She pulled out a miniature photo album. "What a coincidence, that is where I will be staying for the next two weeks." I said overenthusiastically, propping my head on my hand feigning my best look of interest. "I bet I will get to see you almost everyday. My grandparents live at Shady Springs." I added. "That is so good. You and my grandson would get along perfectly." She said with a delighted smile plastered over her wrinkled face. She flipped open the album that she had been holding and turned to a page somewhere deep with in the book, to where a very handsome boy graced the pages. "Is that Jackson?" I asked, practically having to force my tongue back into my mouth. This guy was gorgeous. He had golden brown colored hair that complimented his baby blue eyes. His features were strong and sharp, something that I like very much in a guy. He was absolute perfection, well as close as you can get anyway. "He is so hot." I stated, not thinking about what this elderly woman would think about a boy lusting over her grandson, me and my mouth. "Are you one of those queers too?" She asked sounding just as sweet as she had a moment ago, as if she had not been affected by my revelation at all. "Uh... yeah. I guess you could say that, Mrs. James." I said very unsure what I was getting myself into. "Well so is Jackson, according to his mom he just loves boys. I don't understand it. But he is my grandson and I love him anyway." She said as she closed the photo album and placed it back into her ridiculously over sized bag. I truly liked this lady now, she knew what she wanted and what she cared for and didn't. "Please call me Eleanor, Mrs. James makes me feel so old." She said primping her hair. I like this old woman, she was kind of sassy and very socially accepting. I wish all people where like her. The world would be a better place. "Maybe he can show you where all the gay kids have their shindigs." She said with a smile plastered over her face. "Yeah, but could you not mention this to my grandparents if you ever meet them? They don't know about my, uh, preferences." I asked her while turning to her with a very pleading looking in my eyes. "You can trust me honey." She said as she fished a travel pillow out of her bag and placed it behind her head. ( ( ( ( ( The rest of the trip was spent with Eleanor napping while I did my best to scope out hot guys, but I was thoroughly disappointed with the outcome. The plane was filled with nothing but families, mainly with younger children. My only thought was that they had to heading to the most magical place on earth, to be young again. "We are about to land in the Tampa airport. Please place all trays in their up right and locked positions and fasten your seat belts." A woman with a very nice sounding voice announced over the intercom. The landing wasn't rough at all, unlike the time that I'm sure is waiting for me in Florida is going to be. I was supposed to meet my grandparents by my gate, but when I arrived, Mr. and Mrs. Senile were nowhere in site. I took out my blackberry and looked through my phone book for the number to my grandparents' cell phone. As I pushed the send button, I saw them come up the escalator, my Gram digging in her purse for what I am sure was her cell phone. I hit the end call button, but she still proceeded to dig around in her pocket book. She then looked up and spotted me, a smile spread across her aging features. My Pap followed her lead over to me and I pulled my sunglasses up into my hair, pushing my bangs back to keep them out of my eyes. "Is that my little Eric all grown up!" My Gram exclaimed wrapping her arms around me and pulling me close to her. "Get off the boy. He's just off the plane, he don't feel like bein' smothered." Pap scolded Gram. She proceeded to back off of me and they both took a good look at me. "You have hippy hair son. Why the hell are you not cutting it?" He asked, his voice deep and rough sounding. I guess it was his years in the military that made him appear so gruff. That is one thing I always admired about him. "It's how everybody is wearing it Pap." I responded, defending my hair. "Well you look like a damn sissy. I bet if everybody was jumping off a bridge you would follow 'em." Pap added sounding more like a stern father than a grandpa. "Leave him alone Herman." Gram scoffed at him. Though Pap doesn't like to admit it, Gram had total power over him, so he followed her lead. "So how was your flight?" She questioned as we made our way over to luggage pick up. "Good I guess." I answered. "I met this interesting lady. Her name was Eleanor James. She said that she had a grandson that lives close by where you guys live, Jackson Main?" I said with a smile spreading across my face at the recollection of Mr. Hottie. "Why we know him, don't we hon?" Gram told me as I lifted my suitcase off of the return belt. I wish that I wouldn't have packed so much, it was heavy. "He volunteers at the main office sometimes." She grinned. "He's a good boy, and damn smart as well." Pap added his two cents, just like dad would have done at this point. I guess that's where dad gets it. "He helps me and Gram out all the time." "Cool." I simply said, outside I was calm and surly as always, but inside I was jumping up and down screaming. My grandparents liked him, I liked him, so everybody liked him. He'd better take an interest in me. We made our way out of the airport and to my grandparents black SUV. Pap helped me load my over packed suitcase in to the back of the big rig, and then I sat my self in the back seat behind him. ( ( ( ( ( "And this will be your room." Gram finally ended the tour. When she started it I thought it was a stupid idea, because I had been here before, but I guess everyone's mind needs a refreshing. "Thanks gram." I said. "If you need anything let me know." She stood up on her tiptoes and gave me a peck on the cheek, then left the room closing the door on her way out. I turned around and scanned the room. It was a light shade of blue with a full size bed on one wall, it had a T.V., a dresser and a closet full of hangers that I was assumed I could use. I started to unpack my stuff, all the while thoughts of Jackson danced around in my mind. God that boy was a work of art. I bet he had a damn good body too, something good for me to lick all over. "Pap, I'm gonna go for a walk, is that ok?" I asked as I slipped my flip-flops on. "Hell yeah, just be back before dinner. Your Gram'll get pissed if you are late for dinner. She is stubborn as hell, you know that." He said and I gave him a thumbs-up to let him know that I got him. I walked down the path of Gram and Pap's little apartment thing. I guess this place wasn't so bad to live at. Each couple or person that lived here had their on little bungalow type thing, like a mini-house all their own, equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen/dinette thingy. In total there were twelve of these little homes in a semi circle, all with at least one vehicle parked in front of them. And at the front of the semicircle were two large buildings on either side. The one on the right was the main office and the one on the left was an activity center, kind of a recreation room type deal, I guess where seniors could socialize, as Eleanor had put it. I decided that my best bet for finding Jackson was to go into the main office, so I followed the sidewalk along the curved street to the main office. I walked in to see this young woman who looked o be around my age sitting behind the desk. "May I help you?" she said with a smile in a peculiarly happy voice. It was almost creepy. "Umm... yeah, is Jackson, um, Main working today?" I asked barely containing my anticipation to what the answer would be. I hoped he was. "I am so sorry, he's not. He's picking up his grandmother at the airport." She informed me. "He will be in tomorrow. But for now, can I help you with anything?" She continued with that annoyingly chipper voice. All I could do to keep myself from cussing her out was to turn around and walk out. There was nothing else to do so I went back to my grandparents' place. ( ( ( ( ( "Rise and shine Mr. Sleepy Pants." Gram said as she pulled the curtains, letting the sunlight pour in. I looked over at the clock and, much to my horror, it read eight thirty. It was summer; no one was supposed to know that eight thirty even existed during the summer. "To early, must sleep." I said pulling my pillow over my head, incapable of forming complete sentences at this ungodly hour. "Go away." I stated simply and closed my eyes. "No sense in wasting daylight Eric." Gram said as she grabbed my covers at the foot of the bed and pulled them off of me. Thank god I had decided to leave my boxers on last night. I usually sleep naked and it would have been very embarrassing to have my grandmother see me completely in the buff. "What time did you go to sleep?" "Around ten." I reported. I did go to sleep at ten because there was nothing good on TV, I had already called Addie three times that day, and the recreation room was closed, so there was absolutely nothing to do whatsoever. But just because I went to sleep at ten that doesn't mean that I couldn't sleep until eleven or twelve. I pulled the pillow off of my head and decided that I might as well do as I was told, that way I wouldn't have to hear Gram bitch at me. I stood up and stretched. "That was a decent hour, then. Well, your Pap has made a big breakfast, eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, and biscuits." She said as she started making my bed. "Thanks Gram." I left the room still in my boxers, needing to go to the bathroom, that way I could piss and take a quick shower. When I got back to my room, my bed was made and I went over to the closet to pick out a hot outfit. I knew that Jackson had to be volunteering today; he would surely be showing Eleanor around. I decided to go with a rocker look, a pair of camouflage shorts and black tee shirt with a rough looking eagle holding drum sticks in its talons. I slipped on a pair of my leather flip-flops and then ran some smoothing cream through my hair and I was set for the day. "Took you long enough. You're worse than a damn girl. Lucky I had your Gram wake you up early 'cause breakfast just got finished." Pap said as he placed the skillet of fried eggs on the table. I took an empty seat at the table and proceeded to fix my plate. I don't really like eggs so I made myself a bacon biscuit and quickly ate it, then chased it with a glass of orange juice. I wanted to get out of there and see if I could catch Jackson. "Do you mind if I go to the recreation room?" I asked. "Not at all sweet heart, but I'm sure there will be nothing in there that will interest you." Gram answered. "I'm sure I can find something to hold my interest." I said thinking about Jackson and how much I had become infatuated with him. True, I promised myself to never let another guy hurt me the way that my ex-jackass had done, but I am a teenage boy after all. I got up and left the table. I made my way out the front door and started toward the main office to see if Jackson had checked in that morning, but I was distracted when I saw Eleanor go into the recreation room building, she was being followed by a tall slender looking boy with golden hair that caught the sunlight perfectly. He was wearing what I assumed to be the 'retirement village's' required uniform of a light blue polo and sandstone colored shorts with pleats in the front. I really hoped that this was the uniform, because I couldn't handle it if he had no sense of fashion. I changed my direction to that of the recreation building. It was a short walk, and when I entered the building I saw Eleanor looking around at the card tables and there behind her was her hunk of a grandson. "Look who it is Jackson." Eleanor said when she caught me standing in the doorway ogling her grandson. "It's that nice boy I was telling you about, Eric." She said with a smile. "You were right grandma; he is easy on the eyes." Jackson said with a soothing voice, it was as smooth as butter and I loved it. "Hi." I said meekly, trying to hide my blush. What the hell am I doing blushing? I don't blush. "You must be Jackson." "That would be me." He said crossing the room and offering me a handshake. I took it and found out that he had the softest hands I had ever felt. It turned me on to no end. "Th-that's good." Wow this boy had me really messed up and I think I kind of liked it. He laughed at me. "It is good. My grandma tells me you're gay, I'll have to take you out tonight and show you the town." He said with a smile and then he leaned into my ear and whispered "You'll have to get out of this retirement village, there is sure as hell nothing to do. There wasn't anyone to do until you arrived." He kissed me on the cheek. Wow this boy moves fast. I like him. ( ( ( ( ( "Hey Pap." I said as I wondered in around five. I had spent a wonderful day getting to know Jackson. I went with him and Eleanor on her tour of the facility. He told us about his school and how he had recently broken up with his boyfriend because he just didn't like him anymore. He said that he had never truly loved his boyfriend, but now he just wanted to play the field. "Do you mind if I go out tonight with Jackson?" I asked him. "Down here for a day and you are already going to leave us out to dry. I sure as hell don't blame you. Get the hell outta here." Pap said as I turned to go down the hallway to my room. "Wait, where the hell are ya going? Now I can't just let you run off and not know where the hell you are." He told me. "We will probably go and catch a movie and then eat somewhere." I told him as I went and changed into an awesome pair of jeans that were a light color and distressed in all the right places. I pulled on my brown leather belt and decided that I should wear my red polo with white horizontal stripes. "Okay, just be back before midnight and call if you need anything." My pap told me as I slipped on my second, dressier looking, pair of leather flip-flops and I was out the door to meet Jackson. I walked up to the main building to where I saw Eleanor and Jackson in his car waiting for me. I pulled my sunglass down over my eyes and I began to run to the car. I hopped in the back and we were off to his house where he would freshen up, as he put it. ( ( ( ( ( "Wow you have a really cool bedroom." I said as he showered in his bathroom. He had left the door slightly cracked, that way he could talk to me. His bedroom was awesome, it was decorated great and he had all the latest stuff, like a plasma screen TV, a cool digital camera hooked up to an insane computer, and what looked to be a closet full of high end retail. "It's nothing really." He said as he shut the shower off. I was setting on the edge of his bed when he came out of his bathroom, dripping wet with a towel wrapped gently around his waist. He sure knew how to turn someone on. His body was perfect; he had a broad chest, perfect pecs, and a killer six-pack that I could imagine myself having a field day with. He also had my weakness, a treasure trail; I have always loved that about guys. "Do you need me to push your eyes back in your head?" He taunted, then turned and dropped his towel to reveal the most fuckable ass I had ever seen. "If you keep doing this, you are going to have to beat me off with a stick." I told him as I stood up and grabbed his naked ass. "Not yet, I would like to at least buy you a drink first." He said playfully, slipping on a pair of boxers over my hand. I pulled my hand off his ass and let him continue getting dressed. ( ( ( ( ( "Yes, I will have the sesame chicken." I told the waiter at this local Chinese restaurant. "And I'll have the same." Jackson said as he handed his menu to the waiter. The waiter jotted down the orders and we were left to talk. "So tell me about you ex-boyfriend." That was one thing about Jackson; he dove into topics that were uncomfortable and I liked that about him. I'm sure if he was put in the right position he could make anyone uncomfortable. "Well, his name was Shawn. We were together for about a year, and then last fall he started cheating on me and I found out sometime last month and I dumped his ass. Since then I have vowed to never let another guy hurt me. Because the world is filled with jackasses like him and I don't particularly care if I ever meet another one like him in my life." I told him. "Well that sounds very nasty. I don't imagine why any boy would ever want to break up with you. Seems to me that you are every boy's fantasy." He said with a cocky smile spreading across his face. "So is this a date?" I asked, nervously playing with my chopsticks. To be honest, I really didn't know what I was doing here. I believe that he is the first boy to ever have me on edge, someone who actually had control over me, complete power. I didn't like it. "I guess you could say that." He said looking at me and then straightened the lapels of his jacket. Maybe I should have worn one of my blazers, he was more dressed up than I was, and I can never be out done. But his answer put a smile on my face all the same. "You food is served." The waiter told us in broken English as he placed our plates in front of us and then left. We both dug into our food, carrying on our conversation. "So how did your boyfriend take you just out of the blue breaking up with him?" I asked him since he had the balls to ask me basically the same question. "Well, he was kinda heart broken. At least I think so, but he said that there was someone else that he kinda had feelings for and he was wanting to pursue them. SO I guess it wasn't all that bad. I would almost say it was a mutual break up." He said as he popped a piece of chicken into his mouth, he didn't seem to care about it all that much. "So am I just a summer fling?" I blatantly asked, because I wanted to know where I stood with him and his agenda. I wasn't positive what would happen on my end of the deal, I guess it will be one of those wait and see type of deals. "Wait and see. So far I like you, I'd even go so far as to say that I really like you. After my grandma went on and how much we have seemed to click, it's really hard to say. I may be looking for a fling right now, but you never know what it could possibly turn into." He told me and proceeded to take a sip of his soda and then wiped his mouth. "I feel the same way, just a fling maybe." I told him, snapping my chopsticks and getting large smile out of him, just what I was wanting. ( ( ( ( ( The rest of that week we continued to go out until Friday night when I had to go out with my grandparents to dinner. Other than not seeing Jackson that night, it wasn't a total bummer, plus we had plans for Saturday night. His parents and Eleanor were going to their beachfront house for the weekend. I don't know what he had planned for the evening, but I sure as hell know what I wanted to happen. That's why at seven o'clock I showed up at his front door step Saturday night with a cheap ass bottle of wine that I had managed to sneak out and buy from some dumb ass convenient mart place. Oh well, anything with alcohol in it was bound to get you somewhat buzzed and anything can happen when you are buzzed. "Surprise!" I said putting the bottle at my side after I presented it to him, I then leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the kissing thing started on Tuesday night after our date. He pulled me in, sat the bottle of wine down on a table that was by the door, put his hands on my waist and pulled me in to kiss him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and our make out session started. He was such a great kisser, he knew precisely when to nibble on my lip, he knew exactly the way that I liked my tongue massaged as we were kissing, and he knew the perfect time to pull back and just lean his forehead onto mine, all the while staring deeply into my eyes. The boy was perfection, nothing more, and definitely nothing less. "I'm making chicken lasagna, and this wine should go excellently with it." He said, picking the bottle up and taking my hand, leading me into the kitchen. He got two wine glasses down out of a display cabinet, while I uncorked the wine, trying to be careful not to break anything. He poured us each a glass, then handed me one. "Here's to a great first week, and to what may come." He said lifting his glass, I followed suit and then took a drink. It was vile stuff, I should have known better than get some cheap ass wine from a quickie mart. He started laughing at the awful look that I had on my face from the vinegary tasting whine. "That stuff was horrible." I told him, setting my glad down on the counter. "You should have known better than to get a cheap bottle of wine." He playfully scolded me as he turned around to check on our meal. "Go sit in the dining room." I picked my glass up and made my way through the archway into his dining room, where I found that he had the lights dimmed, two candles lit, and two place settings. I took the seat opposite the doorway, that way I could see him carrying in the dish that he had prepared. He sat the lasagna down in between the two candles, and proceeded to spoon it out onto my white plate. It looked so good, so cheesy. "I hope you like it." He said as he sat across from me and spooned himself out a helping of the delicious meal. "I do." I said taking a second sip of my whine; it didn't taste so bad with the food. The meal was quiet with both of us just staring fondly at one another. If anyone would have been watching they would have said that it was cute. "So what's for desert?" I asked as I laid my fork on the table bedside my plate, then placed the napkin that I had in my lap right beside it. "Well it's a surprise. You'll have to close your eyes." I closed my eyes. I heard Jackson get up from the table, I then heard his breath blowing out the candles, and then he grabbed my hand. He pulled me up from the table and lead me out the side archway and then up the stairs. I knew what he was doing now, but I didn't want to spoil his surprise, so I didn't say anything. "Okay, open your eyes." He said, and I opened my eyes. His room was filled with candles, the lights were off, and his bed had white rose peddles on it. I know this may sound corny to some, but to me, at that moment, it was incredibly romantic. He turned me around and I saw a look in his eyes that I had never seen anywhere before. "I know we haven't known each other but a week, but I feel like we belong together; that no matter who I date or what I do, that I will always think of you, that I can't be complete without you. I know that in my short seventeen years of life that I haven't spent much time trying to find Mr. Right, but I know that when I met you, I found him. Originally, all I wanted from you was a fling for the time you would be here. Nothing but meaningless sex and someone to shoot the shit with, but as we talked, I grew to know, to respect you. I know I may be selfish in asking this, but will you stay the summer with me? I need to know what will happen; I need to know what it would be like with you beside me." He said looking deeply into my eyes, one hand cupping the side of my face while the other brushed my hair out of me eyes. "I-I-I-I don't-t know Jack-Jackson." I said. How could you turn some one down after a speech like that? "I mean, I have my parents, I have Addie, I have my own damn life. I can't just give it all up like that. I really don't know Jackson. I mean, I really like you too and of course I would love to know where we could go, but I honestly don't know if I could give up a whole summer for someone that I just met." He looked disheartened and he took his hand off of my shoulder. "All I can promise you right now is that I will think about." He looked a bit happier. "That's all that I want is for you to think about it." He said placing his arms on my shoulders. "Good, I will. " I said with a smile starting to spread across my face. "But weren't you gonna feed me desert?" I playfully asked looking at him. He answered me by pressing his lips gently against mine, taking it slow, not really wanting to rush things, I guess. He started backing me up towards the bed as our kiss deepened and turned into something more passionate. He was rubbing his hands down my back and then grabbed the bottom of my shirt and slowly began to raise it up in the heat of the moment. We broke the kiss only long enough for him to lift my shirt over my head, ruffling my hair. We continued the kiss as I sat back on the bed pulling him down. He placed his knees on the bed, and it sank down with his added weight. He crawled on top of me while I ran my hand down his stomach, feeling every bump where his six-pack was formed. I started lifting his shirt running my hand underneath it. My hand went up to his nipple and started tweaking it. Jackson was now straddling me, and I could tell that the tweaking was driving him crazy. He broke the kiss, straightened up, and peeled his shirt off, and then dove right back into our kiss. Our hands were exploring each other's bodies for the first time and I was excited to no end; I definitely had a huge boner. His hand landed at the top of my pants and he started to undo my belt buckle. He broke our kiss and looked at me with a wild eye signaling me to follow suit, so I undid the top button of his jeans and started unzipping them and, much to my surprise, he wasn't wearing any underwear. His cock flopped over onto my hand; I was in heaven. He stood up and removed his pants in one fell swoop, then proceeded to pull my pants and boxers off. He lay back down on top of me and our kissing continued with added grinding. My hands ran all the way down his back, grabbing his ass when I reached it and pulling him closer to me, if it was even possible. He actually broke our kiss, and started making his way to my neck, sucking and nipping at every part of me until he reached his destination. He licked and kissed my neck, every minute sheer ecstasy, he moved down until he stopped and started working on my nipples, first flicking his tongue on the right, then the left. All the while, he was sending me into a state of bliss I hadn't visited in a while. He licked his way down my stomach and stopped just short of my dick. He brought his hand up feeling up the length of my cock, stroking it a couple of times. He started licking my balls and I was in heaven. He took his tongue up the underside of my cock and licked it 'til the very tip. He placed his lips over the head of my dick, first taking that in, swirling his tongue around its head, teasing me to no end. He then plunged down on my rock hard dick, effortlessly taking in the whole length. His throat contracted around my member, sending shivers through my body. He quickly pulled off and started teasing the underside of my cock with his tongue again. He dove down again, trying his best to send me over the edge, and I have to admit that I was almost there. After a quick minute of his powerful mouth, I could no longer hold back and I spent myself in his mouth, him sucking it down like it was his favorite food. "Oh my god, you are amazing." I told him as he crawled back up to me and started kissing me. I could taste myself on his tongue, and that was enough to get me excited again. I broke the kiss, because I had the intention of returning the favor that he had just done for me. ( ( ( ( ( I ended up spending the night at his house; of course I called Gram to let her know. He was the best guy that I had ever met, and I knew that I didn't want to lose him. I guess that's why I was lying in his bed with his arms wrapped around me that night, thinking about how great he was, and how lucky I was to have met him. His warm embrace was all that kept me calm then, as I was wracking my brain with solutions on how I could get everything I wanted. That was a lot, since it included still having Jackson, not spending the entire summer with my grandparents, not hurting Addie in the process, and my parents being ok with it all. Then it suddenly came to me; why should I have to give up my life this summer to stay with him? Why couldn't he come and stay with me this summer? I mean, my school had scheduled two and half months off for summer vacation; I could spend an extra two weeks here with him and then he could come and stay with me for four or five weeks. That's it, that's the solution. We could be part of each other's lives. I just hope he goes for this, but in the mean time I needed more sleep and I loved his warm embrace, so I let myself drift back off into dream land. ( ( ( ( ( "Good morning, handsome." Jackson whispered in my ear. My eyes fluttered open to see his beautiful baby blues staring at me. I smiled. I stretched in my bed; it was still hard to believe that I had managed to talk him into my plan. I had spent the past four weeks staying with my grandparents, and when I told them why, they were totally cool with it. Go figure, right? Everything has worked out so far; we have been at my house for a week now and Addie has told me several times that if he were straight, she would so do him. "Good morning." I giggled as he placed his lips over mine the way that I had become accustomed to in the past few weeks. I broke the lip lock, wanting to make sure that we didn't get too carried away, since my mom was just downstairs, more than likely fixing us breakfast. Oh yeah, as for mom and dad's second honeymoon, it wasn't that romantic. Dad stayed seasick the whole time, and that kept them mostly confined to their room. I am so glad that they went on that cruise, it lead me to Jackson. "What did you do that for?" He asked, looking at me puzzled as I went to the bathroom to relieve myself. "You know better than I do what that would have turned into." I told him as I flipped the waist band of my gym shorts back up and flushed the toilet. I walked back out into my bed room to see him sprawled out on my bed smiling at me, and it's scenes like this that made me fall for him. I wouldn't say that I loved him yet, I still believe that it's too early in our relationship to really know if I truly love him, but I know that it's working its way there. "So what do you want to do today?" I asked him, pulling on a tee shirt and a pair of khaki shorts. "Let's go to the park, call Addie, and make her come too. She is so much fun." He said with a grin; I was so happy to see my new boyfriend getting along with my bitch. "Okay." ( ( ( ( ( "So you're sure you don't like girls?" Addie asked Jackson for the hundredth time. "Postive." He said, leaning over and giving me a kiss on the cheek. "I'm telling you, all the good men are taken or gay." Addie sighed as she leaned back on the park bench. We were sitting on picnic tables watching a few of our male friends play basketball on the court. "Who's this?" I heard someone ask, someone I had hoped to never hear from again. "Get the fuck away from me Trevor." I told my ex-boyfriend in a calm voice. "I'm his boyfriend." Jackson chimed in putting his arm around my waist. "Leave us the hell alone." "Not by a long shot." Trevor smirked at Jackson. "Eric we need to talk." "I'm not talking to you." I told him with a firm tone in my voice. "Please baby, I want to give us another chance. I know I did you bad, but please, I love you." He said, sounding just as pathetic as the night that I had broken up with him. He is such a self-centered ass; I pity the next man that gets him. "Didn't he just tell you to leave him the fuck alone?" Addie said getting up. She was a tough bitch, she always knew exactly how to handle situations like this one. She stared him down. " Aren't you gonna answer me? Did he not tell you to leave him the fuck alone?" She repeated herself; she only did that when she was pissed. "Ye-yeah, he did." Trevor stuttered. "Then why the fuck are you still here? He will never take you back, you selfish prick." She said getting up in his face. "I don't have to take this shit." He said, putting his hands up, gesturing that he was giving up. He walked away. "Yeah, turn and run you little pussy." Addie yelled after him. "That guy's such an ass. He asked about you every day while you were gone. I even told him about Jackson." She said sitting down beside me. "Thanks Addie." I gratefully said, giving her a hug. "We're bitches right." ( ( ( ( ( "I'm gonna miss you." Jackson said as we lay in my bed, basking in the after glow of what we had just done. He looked deeply into my eyes. "I am too." I told him, I had been thinking about this night for the past three weeks, his last night here with me. "Can't you come live with your grandma?" I asked him for the billionth time. "My parents won't let me." He told me. "So what are we gonna do, just break up?" I asked, I had been racking my brain for weeks now, but my solutions have never worked out, or I hadn't thought them through enough. "Fuck no." He said kissing my forehead. "We'll figure it out." "That's what you've said for the past two weeks. Well guess what Jackson, you leave tomorrow and all we are doing is laying on my bed, while I bitch about you leaving." I told him, getting upset at the lack of solution that we had. "We can maintain a long distance relationship. We'll split up school breaks, you can come see me and I will come see you. Plus, I will be graduated in nine months and I already have early acceptance into Yale. New Haven isn't that far away. What, an hour or so? See, we can be together." He said caressing my cheek with his finger. "The time that we get to spend together will be much more special with things this way. Haven't you heard? Absence makes the heart grow fonder." He lifted my head to meet his eyes which I had clearly been avoiding. All it took was that one look from him to know that we would be alright, that we would make it work. "Okay." I said, softly kissing his lips. "That will work." I planted another kiss on his lips, only this time it turned into something more heated. I guess we were ready for round two. ( ( ( ( ( "I'm gonna miss you." He said giving me another kiss. I was still holding his suitcase; we were outside the familiar loading gate that I had to use not so long ago. My parents, Addie, and I had all come to see Jackson off, as well as his grandmother. When our kiss finally broke, everyone was looking at us with teary eyes. "I love you." I told him; I finally knew that that was what I felt for him. Love, not lust, and that is what I had always wanted to feel for him. "I love you too." He said initiating another kiss. After what seemed like a second, the familiar annoying voice came over the load speaker. "All passengers that are on Flight 205 to Orlando, please board at this time." "I guess I have to go." He said taking a step back. "I hope you have had a good time." My mom said, teary eyed, giving him a hug. "Come back anytime you please son." My dad said clapping him on the shoulder. "Bye." I simply told him, looking at him as he smiled through his tears at me and then he turned and walked through the gate. I watched him disappear around the corner and my heart sank. I was really gonna miss him, hell I was already missing him, but I knew that everything would turn out alright. ( ( ( ( ( Epilogue My holidays couldn't have been better, with him by my side. He came to my house for his fall break and I went to his on mine. Mom, dad, and I spent thanksgiving with his family in Florida; while he spent half of his Christmas break with us. I knew that the love we had was strong, but every time I saw him I knew that it was still growing. I had a feeling that it would always be growing. I look back now to the beginning of the summer and see that what I wanted to do, have a summer fling, wasn't meant to happen. I couldn't have a summer fling. I'm not a fling type of guy. But I guess you know that now, seeing how we have been together for almost a year now. Jackson is going to be graduated next week and I am going to see him do it. I am really happy that he is starting at Yale in the fall, that means that he will only be a short drive away from me. Plus, when all my friends ask me about him, I can say, "Yeah, I have a Yale Male." I am so excited. So life is good; I can't complain. I have been dealt a good hand in life. All I can say is that I hope that I never have to look for a summer fling again.
