Both guys stood there, wondering how Knapp knew. "How did you..." "The look on your faces is all I need to know!" Knapp said, followed by a giggle. "Hmm..." As the two reported to the pool, they wondered. "Are you sure your room isn't bugged, Kyle?" "Nah. Knapp would not stoop that low." "I don't believe his story of how he `knows'." "Me neither, but what other possible suggestion can there be?" "Well, those doors aren't soundproof." "True." "I'd say we take a listen in tonight, to his room..." "Yeah. See what our radar discovers!" "Oh my!" "What?" "Is that Ari?" "That's him. Why? Sorry you didn't wait to fuck me?" Alex gets all soft and serious. "Never. I'm on the level when I say you're the only guy in my life, Kyle." "I was only joking." "I know you are. C'mon. Introduce me." Through the double glass doors, the two walk, to the outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by a concrete wall. "Hey, Ari, meet my boyfriend, Alex." "Nice ta meet you, Alex," Ari took his hand and shook it. Then, turning to Kyle, he says, "Did you see your brother?" "We saw him." "Tough breaks about pool duty." "What do you mean?" "Knapp didn't tell you Marty called out sick?" "No. So, what's with that?" Kyle was kind of steamed. First, he knew what the message meant and the other is he wanted to work the pool with Alex tonight. With a quickened pace, he sought out Knapp, finding him at the bar. "Hey, bro, what's the story?" "Oh yeah. Forgot to tell you, Marty called out, so you have to wait tables." Devon was standing right there. "Oh yeah, well put Ari on table duty. I'm doing the pool!" Kyle responded, more dictating. Kyle just walked away. "So, who's doing table duty?" Devon asks. Knapp replies, "For now, little bro gets his way, but it's only out of the kindness of my heart I do this." Then he goes on and on, "Normally I wouldn't let anybody get away with shit like this... oh no..." All Devon can do is shake his head and smile. "And what are you smiling about?" "You're so cute when you're angry, you know that?" "I'm not angry." "Yeah, you are, but you're letting Kyle get away with it." "So, what would you have done, if it was your flesh and blood, Devon? Huh?" "Same thing. What are you looking at?" "You." "What about me?" Devon does a pirouette. "I bet you would look damn good in a waiter's outfit." "I like the bowtie without the dress shirt look." "How about the leather pants. Nice feel, huh?" "I could like the feel of leather." "Cool." Right then, Devon thought Knapp had something on his mind, but he dismissed it. "Tonight Ari can show you the ropes." "Want to introduce us?" "Just walk out by the pool and... oh shit!" "What?" "Now Ari's pissed." "So? He'll do what's asked of him, wouldn't he?" "You don't understand." "What don't I understand?" "Ari Carr's father." "Oh. He's the influential type?" "Yeah. Give's Eden a break on the tablecovers and napkins laundry service, dirt cheap. C'mon. I better handle this." Out to the pool the two went, before Ari came into the diningroom of Eden, to make a scene. "Oh good," Ari said, approaching Knapp, "what's this about me working the tables, and not the pool?" Smiling, Knapp says, "Oh there must be some misunderstanding. The three of you are working the pool and... and..." He looks at Devon. "Devon's waiting on tables." Adding backup, Devon says, "That's right." "Who's going to show Devon what to do?" "Oh, I used to wait on tables back home, at the pizza joint. No sweat," He brushed it aside. "But Devon," Alex says, "You used to deliver...." "Pizza too... yeah, that's it. When I wasn't delivering pizza, I was waiting on tables," Devon tries to coverup. Alex knew everybody was being conned, but allowed it to happen, since it's obvious his bud was trying to pull a fast one off, sticking up for the man he cared about. "Nice try," Knapp said, as the two walked away. "Which part don't you believe." "Delivering pizza - yes; the waiter business, well... Devon do you know how tough it can be juggling two tables or more?" "Wait - you didn't tell me I had to do juggling, Knapp!" Knapp looked up, rolled his eyes and prayed, "Lord, just help me get through this night!" "Wow! You're a religious guy, too?" "Sure. On Christmas Eve and Easter. Okay. This is what we're gonna do." Knapp went over and picked up his list. He erased a name and scribbled in another. "Tonight, Ari, Kyle and Alex are manning the pool. Mike, me and Dougie are manning the tables." "Where does that leave me?" Knapp smiles a toothy smile. "You're dancing the cube!" "Me? But I don't know how to dance." "Believe me, in two hours you will. Just give me a second here." Knapp goes to the bar, asking for his `book'. He thumbs through some pages. Devon walks over, as Knapp punches some numbers into the speakerphone. "Hello?" "Jazzy Jeff?" "Knaaaaaap... long time, no see... I mean hear. What's up?" they hear through the speakerphone. "Listen, I need a big favor." "Of course you do." "Hey, don't quote me no high figures." "Don't tell me... you're breaking in a new dancing boy who can't dance?" "How'd you guess?" "It's not the first time around on this `favor'," Jazzy says. "I know, so you know the pay." "Sure. As long as he's good in bed!" Knapp then realizes what he's said. "Nope. Tonight you get cash. How much?" "Un-uh. It's the dancing boy or nothing." "Suit yourself. Bye!" "Waaaaaiiiiiiiit a minute. How does $500 sound?" "How about stop ripping me off? $200." "$350." Jazzy Jeff bargains. "$250." "I'll be right over." The phone hangs up, with a press of a button. "Hey, thanks for saving me for you." "What are you crazy? After I take you tonight, nobody better mess with your ass, before or after!" "Okay, so what do I wear?" "Doesn't Alex have something he wanted me to wear?" Knapp questions. "That chintzy little G-string?" "If it was good enough for my package, it's good enough for yours!" Knapp quickly eyed the surrounding area, to make sure it was okay to grope at Devon. "Ooooooh... stop that or I'll start tenting." "Getting you erect for your costume.. heee hee.." "Oh, you don't have to worry about that." "You get the G-string from Alex and I'll see you later. I've gotta get shaking it up here." "But how will I know Jazzy Jeff when he shows?" Knapp informs him, "Look for a deep tanned guy with a sequinned outfit." First Devon headed towards the pool area. "Hey Devon, this is Ari." Shaking Ari's hand was enough to send some electricity through his system. What he saw was a nineteen year old guy, resembling a twenty-five year old Adonis, except for the dark brown hair, instead of a classic blonde. "You workout?" "Shows, doesn't it?" "I'd say." Six perfect sections filled out his stomach, with a thin trail of hair dividing them. "You should try it." Devon looked down at his own bod. Alex, in a joking mood, poured on the same audacity, "Yeah, you should really try one on for size, Devon." "I haven't heard any complaints about this bod!" True. No one in their right mind would complain about Devon Shears' six foot one inch, hundred and seventy-four pound bod. To add to his good looks, when home, he had blonde highlights added to his naturally brown mane. In reality, he really made a match with Eden well, as the perfect club boy. "By the way Alex, I'm here for the ah... outfit?" A little embarrassed to ask in front of Ari, Devon chose a lesser name for the apparel in question. "Oh, the G-string." "G-String?" Ari repeated. "Hmm... I'd sure like to see you in that." "See me?" Devon got bolder, "How about yourself?" "I dunno," Ari calmed down considerably, "I've never tried wearing one of those before. Yeah, I'll try one." "There's only one," Kyle let Ari know. "I guess I'll still try it." Devon looked for a way to get out of `cube dancing', so he played it right into Ari's hand, literally. Once Ari had it on, he loved the feel of it. "Feel's so free." "Good thing you patterned it after yourself, Alex!" Devon reminded him, looking down, between Ari's legs, hinting. "I'd say so," Alex replied. In the dark, Ari asks, "One of you guys mind cluing me in?" "I will," Kyle says, not holding back, "you've got a big cock and giant balls, which means my boyfriend totes around the same tackle." "Hmm... so no danger of my jewels hopping out of this sling, then?" "Everybody's built differently. Can't say they will or won't!" Alex says. Kyle jumps in with, "So, you like them, right Ari?" "It's super comfortable. I mean my cock and balls are just hanging like in a sling, not forced into it, like a regular pair of briefs." "So," Kyle continues, "if you want to buy a pair they're $75." "$75?" "Or there's a way you can get them free?" Kyle says. Devon and Alex saw Kyle's plan unfolding and Ari was taking it for what it was worth. Without further ado, Kyle spoke of becoming a cube-boy for the value of the G-string. Alex and Devon carried on with their conversation, off to the side, as Kyle does more convincing. "He does look mighty," and Devon uses his hand like groping, "hefty, in it." "Yeah. Too bad you missed me modeling it for Greg," Alex tells Devon. "That I'd like to see someday." "You'll have to ask Kyle." "Oh yeah. I forgot. You're chained down now." "You should talk, Devon!" "What do you mean?" "Oh come off it. Knapp has you wrapped around his little finger." The truth, and Devon seemed to like their relationship, evolving in this direction, but he faked it, saying, "Oh come off it!" "Like you don't like the way he treats you?" "Yeah okay," Devon finally confessed. "It turns me on, okay? What's wrong with it?" "Nothing. Just know where he's coming from and what's um...'expected'." "You're talking like he owns me. Like I'm his little pup on a leash." "And would that bother you, if you were?" Silently, Devon thought about Alex's statement. It's no surprise to himself of hearing about a `pup on a leash'. Secretly, he has kept these thoughts to himself and it excited him to hell, thinking of the way Knapp has treated him. "Hey, it's kind of new to me. Can we keep it a secret?" "So you like... Devon, please do me a favor?" "If I can." "Know what you're getting into before you're into it and can't bail out." "I know. I'll be careful." "Okay. So, what are you going to do tonight, now that you're not a cube-boy?" "I'll have to run it by Knapp." Speaking of which, straight through the glass doors, Knapp was walking with whom Devon summed up as Jazzy Jeff. "What's this Ari?" Knapp asks, seeing him donning the G-string. "I'm dancing tonight, instead of Devon." It wasn't only Knapp's eyes all over Ari, but Jazzy Jeff's eyes were moving like a scanner in a supermarket! "Even Jazzy spoke up for Ari, saying, "He looks real good in the sling-shot. He should pull in tons of tips." "When I need your opinion, Jazzy, I'll ask for it!" Knapp cursed him out. "Ari, get outta the G-string." "No." "No? How would you like your ass kicked out the front door, after I take back Eden's property?" Knapp meant the G-string. "I don't think my father would like it very much." "You know what Ari? I really hate the job your father does on our linens. I could do a better job washing them out in the toilet!" Ari's mouth hung wide open. Taking the G-String off, he tosses it in the pool, picks up his gear, putting his swimsuit back on and makes his exit. Jazzy comments, of Ari, without the sling, "Mmm-mmm... those there are a hot set of nuts." "Too bad," Knapp says, "You wouldn't be draining them tonight. Devon, fetch the G-string." Too late. Alex takes the dive into the pool, sinks under the surface and retrieves it. "Here we are." "Yeah. Okay. Thanks Alex. Here, Devon. You and Jazzy Jeff can get started with the dance lessons." Alex didn't like the tone of Knapp's voice just now, the way he talked down to Devon, the reason Alex fetched the G-string from the depths of the pool, his object, to break the spell Knapp was casting over Devon. % Copyright 2007 T.
