Thanks Rick Now read on and hopefully enjoy: Holidays by the Sea The last chapter ended: This was followed by a boy's dorm performing some act that did not make a lot of sense, and that received a few `boos' from the crowd before they got through. At the end of it one could not be sure if the applause was because the audience were trying to be polite, or because they were happy it was over. And so it went on, each dorm doing something that was good, fair or bad. Finally it came time for J's dorm to do their act. Chapter 161. "And last, but certainly not least we have the boys from K block. I might just add that although J gave the boys a gentle shove in the right direction, these boys have done what you are about to see on their own. They have purposely kept J out of it because they wanted to do something for him. And I think you will find that J was right to let them go it alone this time." Andriotious said. Quite where he had got the "K Block" from is anyone's guess, but the rest of his introduction had left no one in any doubt which group was about to perform. The sixteen boys got up from their seats and filed onto the stage and then most of them went straight off of it waving good bye as they passed through the joint in the curtains at centre stage. These curtains had remained closed for the rest of the acts as none of the other groups had thought to make use of the props available. The two remaining boys were dressed in similar style. They both were barefoot, and had blue jeans and a pastel coloured T on. Timothy's shirt was a pale blue while Ossie's shirt was a lemon yellow. "Good evening ladies and gentleman, fellow campers, distinguished guests and any others not yet mentioned." Ossie started. "We have put together an act for you tonight which we hope reflects in our amateurish way, something of what we have learned this camp." Timothy continued. "For us in J's dorm, this camp has been one of new discoveries." Allan said as he stepped out from behind the curtains. "Even before we were assigned to our dorms, J was in charge looking after us and he got us to look at things from a new perspective" Ossie said. "A perspective that made us change our attitudes towards ourselves and our fellow campers." Timothy added "We were freed from our constraints by his example and help, and we learned to accept people as they are and for whom they are." Alex said, making his appearance from behind the curtain. The curtains then drew apart revealing the rest of the group, most of whom were standing underneath a platform that looked like a black box. To the right of the group was a grand piano at which Andrew was seated; looking side on to the audience. In front of the body of the piano were two chairs, one had Neville already sitting on it, and Allan left the group at the front and moved over to sit on the other chair. Now it became apparent that all the boys had blue jeans and a pale coloured T shirt on making it look a bit like a uniform. Max and Clifford stepped forward to join Alex, Ossie and Tim on the front line. Then in unison the whole group said, "This is our way of saying thank you to J and all the team who have helped us to have a truly great holiday." Neville put the flute to his lips and began to play the opening bars of "Ode to Joy" as a solo. At a given point Andrew and Allan joined in then Lawrence stepped out from behind a concealed screen on the raised platform. He was dressed in the body stocking they had been leant by one of the girls and under the ultra violet light the whole outfit glowed. Lawrence began to dance to the music while Clifford stepped one pace forward and in a loud voice recited, One more year, one more camp. Got off the bus, spirits a bit damp. For you see, we've been there before And so we expected nothing more. Nothing would be new, we knew As planned the rest of the group stepped forward and joined Cliff in speaking the last line of the verse. They all stepped back and Tim stepped forward: Our names were called for our dormitory and suddenly it was a different story. It was not what we thought we could expect Our leader was showing us some respect. This was something new, we knew. The same procedure was followed for the last line of each verse. Alex moved forward for the third verse: Sitting there, first time in our dorm Gathered round so we could hear the form Special rules for each of us to obey Not just now, but each and every day Definitely this was new, we knew And Ossie had the honour of doing the fourth verse: To show respect, to each other To treat the others like a brother Tease, but not mock, laugh with -- not at Help, encourage, smile and back pat Oh yes, this was all new, we knew. Finally Max stepped forward and looked directly at J: And so it continued from day into day Friends together going the same way. Consideration for all was all it would take For us to have, and to eat, our cake. Yes, we knew, for us this was true. As the boys stepped back from reciting the last line of this final verse, Lawrence disappeared behind the screen again and the three musicians played out the final bar of the song. The three musicians stood up and Lawrence ran to the front of the platform and all the boys bowed to the audience. As they straightened up, the audience burst into a thunderous round of applause punctuated by wolf whistles and roars for more. Andrew sat down and began to play "Greensleeves" and Lawrence moved back under the black light to dance once more. Andrew only played two verses but it gave everyone in the audience the opportunity to concentrate on Lawrence's seductive dance. The glow of the reflected light accentuated all the curves and shapes of Lawrence's body and left no interested observer in any doubt as to the size and shape of the various parts of his anatomy. J was not the only guy in the audience who felt a bit of a tingle in their nether regions as they watched. And there were a fair number of girls who also got a bit moist while watching. This time when Lawrence disappeared behind the screen, he came down off the platform and quickly pulled on a pair of jeans before joining the rest of the boys at the front of the stage. The audience was still cheering and clapping when Spiro got up and climbed the stairs up to the stage. The boys took a final bow and then with huge grins of proud exuberance on their faces they began to leave the stage to go back to their places. "Hold on guys, I would like you back on stage please and also if J could come up here, please." Spiro stopped the boys, The ones that were still on the stage stayed where they were, but a few of the boys who had already got down to the auditorium floor took off to get J. Chuck, Thomas. Mario and Sean almost pounced on J and lifted him to their shoulders to carry him as a hero onto the stage. J was glowing scarlet, but inside he was also very proud and happy. He knew he had achieved something in days, which others with years of practice and trying had failed to do. There was a bit of a wobble when the bearers tried to mount the steps up to the stage and they quickly decided it was safer for J to let him down and allow him to go up the stairs on his own steam. When the boys were back on the stage, Spiro began, "I had been told that this act was something different. But in all the years of running these camps, I have never seen a group of teen boys put on such a polished and well rehearsed act. Well Done!" And he began to give them another round of applause which the rest of the people present joined in with. "The camp before this one also had a good young dorm leader on it and I decided that there needed to be some recognition of leaders who go the extra mile. For that I introduced an award for the best dormitory. This is going to be an ongoing thing and each camp there will be an award for the best dormitory. The leaders who are not directly involved with the dormitories all voted making a unanimous decision that this camp the winner of the best dorm award goes to these young men you see on the stage before you. J would you come here please?" Spiro called J forward. J was embarrassed but knew that he would make things look worse if he refused and so he stepped forward to receive the trophy that looked identical to the one he had been presented with at the end of the last camp. It was only as he looked down at the inscription he realised that though they were identical, they were not the same as Spiro had organised for the awards to be engraved and he had one for each age group. Now J would have two trophies' to take home in his luggage. Albeit he would only get to take the miniatures home with him as the floating trophy would remain on display in the reception office. Spiro gave J his miniature and then each of the boys also got given theirs with their name engraved on it. When J looked closely at the trophy, his eyes welled with tears for Spiro had listened to him and although J had not asked it of him, Spiro had used his foster parent's surname on his trophy. What J did not know was that Spiro had been in conversation with both Jeff and John Brackley before getting the engraving done. "Next year, I hope to have even more awards that you campers can try to achieve, but as it is still in the early planning stage, I am not going to even give you an idea of how they will work, but if you are fortunate enough to join us here again for another camp there will be something new, something different. Now please go back to your dorms and get some sleep as you have a long day ahead of you. I hope you have all enjoyed your time with us this year and will be able to come and join with us again next year. Thank you all for being wonderful campers and not giving me and my staff too much trouble. Bon Voyage!" Spiro dismissed the campers. As he did this, J held the trophy aloft and the room burst into applause once again but not for long as the campers began to move out and return to their dorms. The girl who had leant Lawrence the body stocking came up to the front and going straight to Lawrence said, "You had better keep that stocking as you look so much better in it than I do. If I took it back every time I wore it I would have a problem because I would be thinking of you and how sexy you looked dancing up there and I would be in a constant state of arousal and unable to function." "Are you sure?" Lawrence asked. "I love it. I never knew how much of a turn on these things could be, but I can feel every part of my body as it pushes against the stocking and am glad that I have somewhat baggy jeans to wear over it." "Yes I mean it. Keep it and think of me when you wear it again." The girl replied. Lawrence got a huge smile on his face and then put his hands on either side of the girl's head and held her there while he gave her a kiss to thank her. Just then her dorm leader called to her somewhat impatiently and the girl had to make a dash for it. Lawrence realised that the encounter had happened so quickly he had not had the chance to learn her name. Later enquiries in the dorm would reveal that no one knew her name. And with that, J led his boys in a triumphant procession back to the dorm with them all singing, "We are the champions" and passing the trophy between them to hold it aloft as they went. Well I hope you liked the final concert. There are not that many more chapters to go now. Thank you for reading this far and I hope you enjoy my story right to the end.
