I will get around to the sex, but it won't be until later. But I hope you will stick around and read it,you might actually like it. _______________________________________________________________________ Chapter I -- New Neighbors. I hadn't had a very good year; school had been bad, mainly due to my best friend moving away to a new school. That had upset me more than anyone else around me knew. He had been the first boy that I ever had a crush on. Ever since we were little I always had a crush on him. When I finally got up enough nerve to tell him my feelings for him he turned me down, practically crushed my heart when he said that. He could have freaked out or even beat me up, but he didn't. We had been friends for far too long for that to affect him, thank goodness. We were still friends and emailed each other about once a week. That doesn't replace having him here though; I can't play video games with him or try and sneak a feel while watching movies late at night. I think he caught on to that, but never tried to stop me. Damn I miss him. My thoughts were like this on a cool summer day when I was writing in my journal and feeling miserable about myself and how I would be doomed to be alone for the rest of my life when they happened. I lived in a cul-de- sac and the house, which oddly enough, once held the boy of my dreams, was right across the street from me. I saw a moving van pull up in front of it. At first I was angry; no one should ever live in my friend's house again. No one in my mind would ever be worthy of it. I decided to continue to write in my journal and act like no one was over there. It was when I heard youthful voices that I looked up and saw three boys. The youngest was probably ten, the blonde one, very gorgeous, was my age and the one who had to be the oldest, was probably sixteen or seventeen, he was Asian and well built, he was obviously adopted, but the blonde caught my eye. "New neighbors!" the voice behind me said. I must have jumped a foot, I didn't hear her at all, "Sorry." She laughed. "Yeah right." I said back. "Why don't we say hi, it looks as if she's a single mother too, maybe we could help her move?" "I...uh, I don't know." "How would it look if only I went over there and you didn't? Bad first impression I think." She said in her voice that suggested I do it. It was one octave away from a direct order. I wasn't going to win this one so I gave in. Now all I had to do was control my nervousness and not make an idiot out of myself. The blonde turned out to be Brit and his hair constantly fell in front of his eyes, which seemed to drive his mom crazy. The youngest one was Alex, but he preferred Lex and the cute Asian boy was Brandon. I wanted so bad so say something more to Brit, but I couldn't seem to get passed hi with him, he was very quiet. Not the shy type of quiet mind you, but the `Get away from me' quiet. I couldn't help but look at him, he was beautiful, and he had the brightest blue eyes I had ever seen. It seemed to take forever to unload all of those boxes and furniture; all of us were tired and starving. The mom's ordered some pizzas and I once again tried to make conversations with Brit. No good, I couldn't get passed yes or no with him. A perfectly good afternoon had been wasted, one which I could've stayed in my own house and be depressed and self-loathing. On our way back I managed to catch Brit before he went back into the house. "Say, I have some video games in my room if you wanna..." "I thought you would get the hint," he said annoyed, "I'm not interested, so stop asking me alright? Why do I always get the freaks?" With that said he slammed the door on my face and left me standing at the doorstep. To say I was in shock was an understatement. Walking back to my house I thought about my behavior today. Had I been that obvious? Or was he just really sensitive to it? Maybe I wasn't that subtle about it, after all I stared at him quite a bit. Might not have been too hard to catch onto what I was thinking. Was it a bad sign that the first day of summer started out so bad? I woke up early the next morning, made a pot of coffee, the smell always woke mom up. She preferred it that way, said it was always better than any alarm clock that could be bought. After mom left for work I thought it was going to be one of those `me' days, all alone and left to think. I was planning on either sketching or writing, but as it turned out, the television drew my attention and I vegged out until almost noon when a knock came at the door. I had a hope that maybe Brit changed his mind. "Hey." said Brandon. "Oh, hi come on in." I said. "Expecting Brit?" he said. "Sorry, I didn't mean anything by it." "It's alright, that's one reason why I came over, the other one was to see if the offer of the video game extended to me too." Brandon said. "Yeah." "I have to explain something about Brit," began Brandon, "he isn't a bad guy he's just frustrated is all. You see he keeps getting hit on by boys and he doesn't like boys. You just turned out to be the straw that broke the camels back is all." "So you saw the whole thing?" I asked rather embarrassed. "Not really, he was grumbling about it later and I caught most of it. He really is a decent guy once you get to know him." "I'm starving, you want some lunch?" I asked. "I'm very hungry, sounds good to me." "All I have is peanut butter sandwiches and sweet tea. Mom hasn't been to the store yet." I told him. "Sounds good to me." In between bites we talked about the latest games and I filled him in on the neighborhood. "Can I ask you a question?" Brandon said. "My scar?" I said to him. "How'd you know?" he asked me. "It usually comes up sooner or later; I don't mind talking about it." "A couple of years ago," I began, "my mom's old boyfriend had picked me up at school. Had I known he had been drinking I wouldn't have got into the car with him. He had been driving rather recklessly when he turned got distracted by something across the street, he swerved and hit a light post. I got tossed out of the car and got a piece of fiberglass stuck in my neck." "How'd you not bleed to death?" Brandon asked. "It was a streak of gook luck actually, it didn't hit any major artery in the neck, plus it was in there such a way that it actually prevented me from bleeding. In a way it saved my life." "Well, it looks cool. Can I touch it?" "Sure go ahead." I said, "Everyone thinks it's cool, but no one wants to go to the trouble of getting one." When Brandon touched the scar it sent chills through my body, the scar was more sensitive then the rest of my neck. I couldn't help but shiver, because it felt good. The truth was it got me excited, it wasn't any type of sexual touch at all, but I had never been touched before, sexual or otherwise. I was getting turned on and had to squirm and try get my crotch in a more comfortable position. Out of the corner of my eye I started at his eyes, they were large and deep brown, he had full lips and they looked to be so soft to kiss. "How about another game of Soul Caliber II?" Brandon asked. I agreed and most of the afternoon was spend playing games, he went home about two o'clock and mom came home shortly after. "Glad to see you made a friend." Mom said. "Yeah." I said back. The rest of the evening I had my mind on Brandon, but old fears kept on creeping into my mind. Was he straight? If he wasn't would he even be interested? Would I get my ass kicked if I told him? So much to think about. ___________________________________________________________________________ Please email me and tell me what you think, I love input and I will write back.
