"Stop whinging and come on!" Jamie grabbed Shane's hand and pulled with all his might. In reality, Shane could very easily have resisted Jamie's efforts but he generally did whatever Jamie asked him to do. He couldn't help himself when it came to that boy. "What do you think he wants?" Shane honestly didn't want to hear anything that Matthew had to say, regardless of how important it was. "I think he wants to make friends. Listen; all this time, he has always called you Carter. Now all of a sudden, he calls you Shane. Aren't you in the least bit curious as to what's changed?" Jamie continued to pull Shane along the street by the hand. "It's not really that big of a change." Shane was pouting. "Can't we just go to yours? I seem to remember you promising me some bonking." "And I won't let you down unless you let ME down." Shane huffed and puffed all the way to Matthew's house, right up until the moment Jamie pressed the doorbell. They waited a few seconds and were greeted by a middle aged woman in a tight fitting pink dress. "Hey Anita. You look lovely. Big plans?" said Jamie by way of greeting. Anita smiled. "Why, yes. Neville's taking me out for a whole night. Dinner, spa, hotel. The works." She giggled. "Shall I shout for Matt?" Jamie nodded and the woman shouted up the stairs. Matthew came down and looked at his mother before wolf-whistling at her. "Very nice, Mother." "Thank you, darling." She fluttered her eyelashes. She was acting as giddy as a schoolgirl. "I'll be upstairs. You boys play nice." Matthew turned his attention to the boys. He smiled at Jamie and said "Hey," before he looked at Shane. Shane scowled. "Hi, Shane." Jamie jabbed Shane in the side with his elbow. Begrudgingly, Shane offered a surly "Hi." "Come in the lounge. I don't want anyone hearing this conversation. I haven't told my parents about me yet." The three made their way into the lounge. Jamie jumped into his favourite seat facing the front window. Matthew picked the one opposite. Shane chose to remain by the door. He didn't want Matthew to think that he was accepting his hospitality. He was determined to be as miserable as possible. "I'm glad you both came," Matthew began. "I'm not," said Shane, his arms folded in front of his chest. Jamie shot Shane a menacing look. He turned to Matthew. "How were your results?" he asked. Shane rolled his eyes. This was not supposed to be a social call. "Eleven A*'s. Yours?" Shane rolled his eyes again. "Eight A's and two A*'s." Jamie beamed. That was one of the things Shane loved about Jamie; even when he was just smiling, he was beaming. "I knew it." Matthew smiled. "What about you, Shane?" Shane could tell that Matthew was trying to be nice, but Shane still had a cloud over his head. "I got what I needed." Matthew took the hint. "I guess I should get to the point. I thought we should clear the air." Shane snorted. "Clear the air? You told my boyfriend you wanted him to dump me in favour of you. How clear can the air really get?" "Shane. Behave," Jamie admonished. "You're on his side?!" "I'm not on anybody's side! I want this all sorted out so that I can have my boyfriend AND my best friend!" Shane almost threw himself onto the settee with a great huff. "First, I want to say I'm sorry to you, Jamie. I shouldn't have messed with you like that. It wasn't fair to you, or to Shane, and I'm really sorry." "Thanks, Matty." Jamie gave his cheeky smile. Whenever that smile was directed at Shane, it made him want to do anything for him. Directed at Matthew, it made him murderous. "And Shane." Matthew tore his eyes away from Jamie, clearly with some reluctance. "I'm sure you understand why I did what I did. Jamie is great." Jamie mumbled through his teeth "Not helping," in an almost sing song voice. Matthew laughed, his head dipping down as he did. "I guess you're right. Sorry, Shane." "Hmph." "Anyway. What I did was deplorable. I shouldn't have kissed him. I shouldn't have asked him to be with me. I shouldn't have said any of the stuff I've been saying about you for the last month. I know that forgiveness takes time, but I hope that one day we can be friends." Had Shane not already vowed that he would hate Matthew until he day he died, he would have accepted the apology there and then. As it was, he didn't want anything to do with Matthew. "I don't need friends like you." Jamie buried his face in his hands with a sigh. Matthew rose from his seat, a cocksure look on his face. "Really? Because if it weren't for friends like me, your Dad would already know about your little secret." Jamie's face darted up. "What do you mean?" "When you two were smooching down the music corridor, Mr Carter appeared, looking for Shane." Shane jumped from his seat. "What?!" His heart rate doubled. "I guess he wanted to find out your results. I saw you two kissing from that little alcove. He was coming down, shouting your name." Matthew was speaking calmly; even matter-of-factly. Shane, on the other hand, was hyperventilating. "What happened?" "I intercepted him and told him that you had already gone home." "And you couldn't have LED with that piece of the story?" Shane said, laughing at his beating heart. He slumped back onto the couch, his hands shaking. He sat, thinking about the fact that they had come so close to being found out and realised that it was altogether too easy. "Jamie, he's gonna find us out." Jamie came over and sat on Shane's left. "What do you want to do?" "I don't know. Maybe we should talk to my Mum." He could feel Jamie ruffling the hair on the back of his head. It felt nice; comforting. "Maybe we should involve MY mum too. It's about time they met." Shane rose. "Thanks for saving me today." He offered his hand to Matthew. Matthew took the hand and shook. "Anytime." ---------------------------------------------- Jamie clicked his phone closed when the pair reached Shane's house. "My mum can't come. She's got patients all afternoon." "Just the three of us then." Shane shrugged and opened the door. "MUM?! Where are you?" "Upstairs! I'll be down in a tick." Shane guided Jamie into the kitchen. "Do you want something to drink?" Jamie nodded and Shane started to bustle about in the fridge offering various drinks. He had started pouring two glasses of Coke when they both heard a huge resounding crash from the hall. Shane dropped the bottle on the floor mid-pour and the pair darted to find the source of the noise. Jamie feared the worst. The pair burst into the hall, and they saw it. Diane was lying on the ground at the foot of the stairs, her arms and legs splayed out awkwardly around her. She was surrounded by shards of porcelain. "Mum!" Shane darted forward to her side, dropping onto his knees. "Shane! Don't move her! We don't know how badly she's hurt." Jamie moved to Diane's side. Shane moved away, tears in his eyes. He started babbling. Jamie decided he needed to take charge. "Shane. Go in the kitchen and get me a metal spoon." Shane seized on the simple instruction. Panic did the strangest things to people. "Diane?" Jamie shouted. "Diane?" Nothing. Jamie pulled out his mobile phone as he moved to check Diane's pulse in her wrist. He dared not touch her neck in case it was fractured or worse. He dialled 999 and listened to the ring as he counted off Diane's pulse. "Which service do you require?" asked a voice on the phone. "Ambulance please." Jamie's voice was calm, a stark contrast to Shane who emerged from the kitchen brandishing a tablespoon, wild eyed and teary. Jamie took it and placed it under Diane's nose and watched her breath steam up the metallic surface. "North West Ambulance. What's your emergency?" "I have a forty-six year old woman who has fallen down the stairs. She is breathing and her pulse is steady but she is unconscious." Jamie looked carefully around her head. "She has a small gash on the crown of her head, but there's no bleeding." "What's the address." Jamie told her. "An ambulance will be along shortly." Jamie hung up the phone. Shane was still crying and kept moving to touch his mother. Jamie needed to keep him focussed. "Shane. I need you to go and get a brush and move all these shards away." It was a pointless task, but it was the first thing he could think of. Shane ran off. After a moment, Jamie heard Diane stir. "Diane?" "Jamie? What happened?" Her voice was a little weak. "Don't move; you've had a fall. The ambulance is on it's way." "My head hurts," she said lamely. "I know." Jamie smiled. "I can't stay like this. My arm is killing me. I need to lie down properly." "Sorry kiddo. You could have some breaks and I don't want to aggravate anything." The flashing blue lights and piercing screech of the ambulance announced the arrival of help no more than a few minutes later. In that time, Diane's mind had become clear enough to tell Jamie that her arm was agonizingly painful. It was also more than just her arm. One leg appeared to also be broken and the tenderness in her ribs caused some suspicion too. Jamie allowed the paramedics in and proceeded to keep Shane out of their way. Shane was to ride in the ambulance with his mother so Jamie took Shane's phone and told him he would meet him at the hospital. Alone in Shane's house, Jamie could breathe again. The last fifteen minutes had been agonizing to him as well as to Diane. He flicked through Shane's phone and found his father's number. "Gerry? It's Jamie. Let me preface this by saying that everybody is going to be fine..." ----------------------------------------------- A few hours later, Jamie stepped out of the cab in front of North Manchester General Hospital and wandered into the A&E department. Unfortunately, as he wasn't family, the nurses wouldn't let him through. He used Shane's phone to call Gerry again. A minute or two later, Gerry came hurrying out to greet Jamie. Before Jamie knew what was happening, he was in mid-air. Gerry had swept him up into a great bear-hug and was dangerously close to cracking some of Jamie's ribs. 'At least I'm in the right place if that happens,' Jamie mused. "Shane told me what you did." Jamie tried to speak through the lack of air in his lungs. "I didn't really do all that much." "The doctors told me that you did everything right. You've kept her arm from further damage, and they said there's a small fracture in one of her vertebrae. If you hadn't kept her immobile, she could have been much worse off than she is!" He was still squeezing Jamie. "Gerry...can't...breathe..." Gerry put Jamie back on the ground and Jamie sucked in a lungful of air. Little spots appeared before his eyes. "It was what anybody would have done," he said after a minute. "Come on. She's being casted at the moment. She's got a broken leg and a few cracked ribs, but they say she'll be right as rain." Gerry led Jamie through the hospital to wait in the room soon to be inhabited by Diane. Shane was sitting in the corner, ashen faced. Jamie was about to run over and comfort his boyfriend, but checked himself. Gerry was still in the room. "Gerry, was that YOUR Mercedes I saw parked in the Ambulance bay?" Gerry's eyes went wide. "Shit!" He bolted from the room. Once Jamie was certain he was gone, he dropped the bag he was carrying and moved over to Shane, taking his hands in his own. "Are you okay, baby?" He kissed Shane's knuckles. "What? Oh, yeah." Shane shook his head like a dog. "Hospitals weird me out, that's all." Jamie stroked Shane's cheek. At that moment, the door flew opened. Jamie's hand darted away from Shane's face. Jamie turned to see that it was just a team of orderlies wheeling Diane into position. "Mum!" Shane jumped up and bolted to her side. "Hello, Shaney Baby." Diane looked like something out of a Hitchcock movie, bandaged and casted to the hilt. She seemed to be in high spirits however. "This morphine is fanTAStic!" Shane laughed. "Where's my Gerry Baby?" "He's moving the car before he gets a ticket," Jamie provided. "He shouldn't be too long. I brought some PJ's and night stuff for you." Jamie pointed to the bag on the floor. Barely more than a minute later, Gerry came bursting through the door. "Di. How are you feeling, love?" "Like a hot air balloon. It feels like somebody is trying to pump me up." "I meant your head. Nobody has mentioned it to me." "Superficial wound. No damage to my noggin." Diane turned to Jamie. "Jamie, dear. Would you take Shane to get some air before he faints." Jamie looked at Shane who had visibly paled and seemed to be swaying on the spot. Jamie placed one hand on either of his shoulders and guided him out into the afternoon sun. They took to a bench out of sight of the entrance. "Better?" asked Jamie. Shane nodded, still looking a little wan. "Aww, come here my darling." Jamie pulled himself into Shane's body and felt Shane start to relax into him. For a long time, they just sat there in each other's embrace. Shane was regaining some of his colour. Jamie suddenly had an idea. "Come with me." He grabbed Shane's hand and guided him back into the hospital. They meandered through the hallways until Jamie found what he was looking for. The less used part of the A&E wing. Jamie pulled Shane into one of the cleaner looking rooms and removed his shirt. "What the hell are you doing?" "I'm making the hospital a happy place. Let's put some good memories in it for you." Jamie unbuttoned Shane's jeans and took a handful of his dick. "You remember what made our first time so hot? We could so easily have been caught. A teacher, or another student, or anyone could have walked in." "Actually." Shane grabbed Jamie's arse and pinned him to the wall. Jamie wrapped his legs around Shane's trunk. "That WAS kind of hot." He pressed his lips to Jamie's and used his tongue to beg access, which Jamie was only too happy to grant. For a few minutes, all they did was kiss, Shane writhing against Jamie and their tongues battling for supremacy. Before long, Jamie's hard dick started to pain him as it was still confined in his jeans. Shane put him back on the ground and freed Jamie's throbbing member from it's denim prison before drawing back the foreskin and slurping it into his warm, moist mouth. Jamie closed his eyes and tipped his head back against the wall, enjoying the feeling of Shane's talented lips working up and down his shaft. His tongue played across the sensitive underside of Jamie's dickhead causing Jamie to moan lustfully. Jamie could feel the familiar tinglings beginning, but didn't want their sexscapade to end prematurely, so he grabbed a handful of Shane's hair and gently pried him away. "My turn." He pushed Shane onto his back and kissed all around his lover's belly button. It always amused Jamie that Shane was an 'innie', and he derived much pleasure from dipping his slippery tongue into the crevice before kissing down the treasure trail. "Mmm. That's good." Shane sighed happily. Jamie pulled Shane's jeans and boxers down to reveal his eight inch baton. He could see it pulsating and a little spot of pre-cum hovered delicately at the tip. As was his custom, Jamie kissed the tip of Shane's dick, using his lips to take the drop of nectar into his mouth. He took Shane firmly in hand and moved down to his balls. He took the right ball into his mouth and tongued it delicately before allowing it to slowly slip from between his lips. Shane started to squirm when Jamie took the left ball and gave it the same treatment. Done with Shane's marbles, Jamie pressed his face firmly into the underside of Shane's tool and used the full surface of his tongue to full effect. He ran from base to tip in one sweeping move, causing Shane to gasp. Jamie took Shane into his mouth and took it in, right to the hilt, burying his nose in Shane's pubes. He used his throat to send electricity coursing though Shane's body. Shane moaned louder and louder. Jamie pulled off and stared at Shane lying on the ground breathing heavily. He lifted Shane's shirt over his head and proceeded to nibble his nipples. He moved back up to Shane's lips and the two kissed fervently, rubbing their dripping shafts together. Both were moaning furiously. Shane rolled Jamie onto his back, his hand roaming down his chest before he grabbed both of their dicks and began to work them. Their moaning intensified and Jamie began thrusting his tongue deeper into Shane's mouth. Feeling the dam burst, Jamie dug his fingers into Shane's back and pulled their bodies tightly together. Everything tensed and he almost shouted out in ecstasy as he released shot after shot of hot, sticky cum between their semi naked forms. Shane almost immediately inhaled sharply and dumped his own load alongside Jamie's. He cried out as the first volleys blasted from his steely rod. As the fourth and fifth shots poured out, Shane returned to Jamie's lips and the two made out with gay abandon. Lying there in the afterglow, sticky and sated, Shane started to run a finger through their mixed deposits. Jamie played with Shane's hair while he waited for his breathing to return to normal. Shane grabbed a nearby tissue dispenser and started to clean Jamie up. Jamie giggled at the tickly feeling of the soft tissues. "Sometimes, being the bottom is a messy business," said Shane, chucking the tissues in the bin and retrieving Jamie's t-shirt. Clothed again, the pair lay on the floor, Shane's head resting on Jamie's chest. "Shane? Why do hospitals bother you?" Shane paused a few seconds. "When I came to visit my uncle Tom after the thing with my Dad, he was in bad shape. I guess, in some way, I associate coming out to Dad with ending up in here." "You're his son. He may not like what you are, but he wouldn't go as far as that with you." "Maybe." "And if he tries, I'll kick his arse." Jamie giggled. "Oh, I can just see that!" Shane started to tickle Jamie. "How are you going to fight my Dad, when I can floor you so easily?" "Mercy!" Jamie almost screamed. Shane stopped tickling him and pulled him to his feet. "Come on Shaney Baby. I'm starving." "I'm not surprised. You must have shot everything you ate in the last week just then." Jamie moved to the door. "Hey, Jamie?" Jamie turned back. "Thanks for this. You really are a great boyfriend." "Come here, you big lug." The two embraced. "I love you, Shane." "I love you too." Jamie's stomach growled then, announcing the end of their rendezvous. ----------------------------------------------- Benjamin Garrett sat in the CCTV control room of North Manchester General Hospital and hit rewind for the fourth time. As he watched the young pair walk into the ward and begin to strip each other, he rearranged his leaky cock and pulled out his phone. He scrolled through his contacts and hit 'call'. "Kyle, you've got to see this! Control room. Yeah, that's the one." A few minutes later, Kyle burst into the room. "Hey babez. What's up?" "Look. It's the tape from ward 1F." Ben rewound the tape and he and Kyle watched a very impressive show. About halfway through, as the pair were writhing against each other on the floor, Kyle looked into Ben's crotch. "You're really enjoying this, aren't you?" Ben looked at the impressive tent in his trousers and blushed. He turned and saw that Kyle was in much the same condition. "You wanna help each other out?" Kyle looked unsure. "Benji, we've been through this before. I don't want to risk our friendship." Ben rolled his eyes. "Well, I'm going to knock one out. You're welcome to stay." He pulled out his throbbing dick and started to whack away. After a few seconds, Kyle sat down next to him and did the same. When the young men in ward 1F performed their grand finale, Ben hit rewind once more. ----------------------------------------------- That night, Gerry sat around the dining room table with Jamie and Shane dolling out slices of pizza. Normally, they would not eat take-away, but Diane was the resident chef. The most Gerry could manage was tomato soup. Gerry was more than happy to cater for Jamie tonight. In theory, he had saved his wife from permanent injury and had taken care of Shane all day. He was a remarkable young man, and Gerry was very happy that Shane had chosen him as a friend. "It really is a shame about the vase." Jamie lifted his slice to his mouth and bit down. Gerry sighed and looked at the pile of porcelain shards on the kitchen counter top. It had been a family heirloom, almost two hundred years old. Unfortunately, Diane had been carrying it when she lost her footing on the stairs. She had told Gerry that she had been day-dreaming about their little rendezvous the night before and wasn't paying attention to the stairs. "At least it was insured. Still, I would have preferred the vase to the money." Jamie suddenly started from his chair, a little noise escaping his lips and he pulled out his phone. "Excuse me a second." He moved away from the table and flicked his phone open. "Hey sweetie." Gerry pulled out another slice of pizza, wishing that it wasn't so greasy and looked at his son. "You okay? This whole thing with your Mum." "Yeah. She's going to be fine. I was just worried about the head wound." "Dodged a bullet there, didn't we?" Jamie clicked his phone closed and came back to the table. "Matty wants to know if we want to have a drink with him next weekend before college starts." "I don't know. With my Mum, and all." "It's not for another week. You can think about it." Gerry was pondering something. When Jamie answered the phone, he had said 'Hey sweetie.' Gerry had assumed that he had been talking to a girl, but it was this lad named Matty. Problem the Donovan-Samuels boy. 'Is there something I'm missing?' Gerry wondered to himself. He shrugged and went back to his pizza. "Well!" said Jamie, clapping his hands together. "Pizza was great, but I have something I need to do." "D'you need a lift?" asked Gerry. Jamie looked a little awkward, like he was embarrassed about something. Something flickered in his eyes and he said "If you don't mind. I need to pick up my Dad." "No problem. Where is he?" That look of embarrassment crossed Jamie's face again. Shane was the one who spoke. "The Duck on the Water." Suddenly Gerry understood. ----------------------------------------------- From his position in the front seat of his Mercedes, Gerry watched Jamie walk into the pub, pulling his wallet from his back pocket, and he watched when two minutes later he emerged with a middle-aged man hanging off his shoulders. Jamie dumped him in the back seat, and within seconds, the man was asleep. Jamie climbed into the passenger seat and buckled up. "So, yeah. That's my Dad." Gerry didn't say anything. He could see the pain in Jamie's eyes, and instinctively wanted to help the young man, but he had no idea how. He pulled up outside Jamie's house and helped get Johnny Lawrence inside. He could contain himself no longer. "How often does he do that?" Jamie couldn't meet Gerry's eye. When he had been a prosecutor, he had seen that look many times. The child who is afraid to rat out his parents. Gerry's heart was breaking. He pulled Jamie into a hug and felt the small boy shake. Gerry silently vowed that he would help, and he had an idea how he was going to do that. ***************************************************************************** I hope you enjoyed this.
