I promise you," Billy said as he hugged his younger brother Chris tightly. "Now, let's get back inside. Didn't you say that Jared wanted to check out Big Surf?" Chris forced a wan smile. "Yeah, but first, did you get it?" "Yep. It's perfect, just like you ordered." When they got to the doors in the mall, Jared came over to them. "Are you okay?" Jared asked Chris. "Yeah, I'm fine," Chris said softly. Jared gave Billy a quizzical look, which Billy answered with a shrug. "Billy said he'd drop us off at Big Surf. Where's Gordie?" "He said he had a couple of things to do before tonight. I gave him directions to your house." Jared paused as Chris gave him a dirty look. "That's okay, isn't it?" Billy nudged Chris in the ribs when he didn't say anything. "It's cool," Chris said grudgingly. "Why wouldn't it be?" Jared flashed him a smile and Chris could almost forget the jealousy he'd been feeling. Almost. After all, Billy was probably right, he didn't have anything to worry about. Try as he might, Chris just couldn't stay mad at Jared for long. Chris smiled back at Jared, and Billy was relieved to see it was a genuine smile. "All right, you two. Let's get you to Big Surf." They headed for the door, then Chris stopped. "Wait, I want to say goodbye to Corey." He looked around the Food Court, but couldn't spot him. "Where is he?" "Oh, yeah!" Jared snapped his fingers. "He met a friend of his and said they needed to take off. I think they're hot for each other." He said to tell you they'd see you tonight." "Cool. Let's go." ***** ***** After a quick stop at Jared's apartment, then the Christy resident for the boys to grab their swimsuits, Billy drove them to the waterpark, leaving them with the warning to be ready to go at 5:00. Chris paid their way in despite Jared's protests, and the boys went in, changed and laid their towels down on the sand, then jumped in the artificial lake. After splashing around for several minutes, attempting to dunk each other, and attempting to body surf the waves that gave the park it's name, Jared glanced over at the waterslides. "Hey, Chris," Jared swam up to his boyfriend, "let's try the slides." Chris shook his head. "You go ahead. I want to get some sun." "Okay," Jared said, then started swimming in the direction of the slides. Chris watched him go off, then headed back to where they left the towels. As he headed back up the sand, picking his feet up quickly to keep them from burning, he noticed a couple of guys from school sitting next to his towel. One he thought he recognized as Peter Norville from the football team. Peter was 5' 11", had medium length blond hair and blue eyes and a well muscled build. And Chris couldn't help noticing that Peter had a large bulge in his trunks. The other boy, Skip, was well known as the class clown. Skip was the same height as Peter, had long brown hair the sometimes covered his entire face; except for his large nose; brown eyes, and was extremely skinny. "Hey dude. Wus up?" Skip smiled as Chris sat down on his towel. That surprised Chris since most of the kids from school ignored him since he came out. On his guard, he returned Skip's smile. "Jared and I are just enjoying the sun and the water." Peter laughed. "So it's true? You and Jared are a couple now?" Chris felt his face turning red from more than the sun. Just what were the rumors going around school before it let out for the summer? "Um, yeah. I guess you could say that." "Cool!" Skip said. "So are Peter and me." Then Skip glanced at Peter, who nodded. "Listen, we've been thinking about coming out. Do you think that the four of us can get together and talk sometime? I know you two haven't been out that long yourselves, but anything can help." Not believing what he had just heard, Chris stared at them. "You mean . . . You and Peter are . . ." Skip laughed at Chris's discomfort. "Yeah, we're gay. Just like you and Jared. We don't want to intrude or anything. We just thought that it'd be cool to have some gay friends." "Sure," Chris said, mentally shaking off the shock of the admission. "Tell you what. Today's Jared's birthday and I'm throwing a surprise party for him tonight at my house. Why don't you two stop by?" "Speak of the devil . . ." Peter said in low voice, jerking his head towards the water. Chris looked in that direction and saw Jared swimming towards them. Before Jared could get out of the water, Chris turned back to Skip and Peter. "Listen, the party starts at six. My address is . . ." "I know where you live. I've followed you home from school a couple of times trying to get up the nerve to talk to you. We'll be there." Then Jared was beside Chris. "You'll be where?" Skip gave Chris an embarrassed look. "I was just telling Skip and Peter about that competition you're going to be in next month." Jared gave them all a wide grin. "Cool. They just called surfers only. Why don't we get some lunch?" That sounded good to everyone, so they headed up to the snack bar. Once again, Jared tried paying, but this time, both Skip and Peter insisted on paying. They sat at a picnic table where they could watch their stuff and talked. To Peter's embarrassment, Skip told Chris and Jared how he and Peter had first found out about each other. "That's cool," Jared said. "I can't ever imagine doing something like that, but it sounded like fun." Chris had to agree with Jared. It sounded like Skip had had a wild time with Peter, Tom and Alex. "Hey, I have an idea," Jared said, then paused as the p.a. system announced the free swim, "why don't we double date tonight? Chris and I have some company coming over tonight, but we can catch a midnight movie or something." Peter, Skip and Chris all exchanged glances that were lost on Jared. Finally, Peter spoke up. "That sounds like fun, but Skip and I already have plans for tonight. Why don't we catch a movie tomorrow, instead?" "That sounds good." Chris agreed. "Well, I don't know about you three, but I need to get back in the water." With that, all four boys ran back to the lake. They spent the next three hours swimming and horsing around, until Skip realized what time it was. "Shit, dude! We got to get going! I promised my mom that I'd do the yard before she got home." Skip and Peter got out of the water and headed into the dressing room. Jared swam over to Chris and leaned over to whisper in his ear. "Man, who would have ever guessed that the three hottest guys on the football team are gay?" Chris laughed and pushed Jared away, then started swimming away. Jared laughed and chased after him, dunking Chris when he finally caught him. Chris bobbed back up to the surface, shaking water and his wet hair out of his eyes. "Let's hit the slide," Chris suggested as he got his wind back. Jared smiled. "I'll race you there." ***** ***** Both boys were dry, dressed and waiting for Billy right at five o'clock, just like he warned them to be. They stopped by a coffee shop on the way back to the Christy's house and grabbed some coffee to go. Finally, they got back into Billy's car and headed home. The house was dark when they walked up to the front door. "Where's you're mom and dad?" Jared ask Chris as he unlocked the door. Chris didn't say anything as he pushed the door open and motioned for Jared to go in first. Jared hit the light switch. "Surprise!" Jared stood there in shock. Standing around the living room with huge smiles were Mary and James, Corey and someone that Jared didn't recognize, Gordie, Skip, Peter, Tom, Alex, and Phil from Air Skate. "Happy birthday," Chris said from behind Jared and pulled him into a hug. "I bet you thought I forgot about it." Jared was speechless, then he turned around and returned Chris's hug. "Well, yeah. Kind of. But I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. Thanks, babe." Then he leaned in close and kissed Chris. They could hear Billy groan behind Chris, and someone else cleared his throat. "That's sweet, Jared, but you do have guests, you know." Corey said, a smile on his face. The boys separated and walked into the middle of the living room. ***** ***** The party was a complete success. Mary had spent the day while the boys were out making Jared's favorites, lasagna, green beans and fresh baked bread, as well as the cake, which she had decorated in a skateboard motif. Three hours later, Chris was busy talking with Corey and his friend, Steve. Corey had just finished telling him a humorous story about the time he had done an article on the 25th anniversary of Stonewall and a run in he had had with an overly aggressive drag queen, when Chris looked around, trying to spot Jared. Mary and James had already headed back to their bedroom, Billy was talking with Skip and company. But Jared was no where to been seen. He excused himself from Corey and Steve, went to the hall closet and pulled out the package that Billy had picked up for him. He held the small box in his hands and smiled. Chris was just getting ready to check bathroom and his bedroom when he heard Jared's voice coming from the back yard. His words were muffled, so Chris couldn't hear what he was saying. Chris walked into the kitchen and to the back door. Jared was standing facing away from Chris and Gordie was standing in front of Jared. Chris felt a sinking feeling in his stomach as Gordie gave him smile, then lent over and kissed Jared. Chris dropped the package he was holding and ran back inside the house, slamming the door behind him. ***** ***** Jared pulled away from Gordie, shocked. "What the hell did you do that for?" Gordie gave him a self-satisfied smile and shrugged. "I still love you, Jay. I've had a lot of time to think about how I screwed up and I want you back. I want you to come back to Indiana." They heard the door slam and Jared turned around in time to see Chris running through the kitchen. "Get the hell out of here! I'll deal with you later," he said harshly, then headed back to the house. As he neared the door, he saw the package the Chris had dropped and picked it up. It was wrapped in silver paper and the card on it said "Happy Birthday, Jared. The one true love of my life." Jared felt tears welling up in his eyes as he realized what Chris must be thinking. Carefully, he unwrapped the package to reveal a small jewelry box. Inside the box was a bracelet. With tears blurring his vision, Jared lifted the bracelet from the box and read the inscription on it. "Jared, I will always love you. Chris. July 11th, 1998" "Oh, man," Jared groaned to himself. "What has Gordie done?" He put the bracelet on and went inside. ***** ***** Chris ran through the kitchen, the livingroom and the hallway, slamming his bedroom door behind him. Both Billy and Corey stood up. Corey motioned Billy to sit back down. "I think I can handle this a little better than you can, Billy. No offense, but I know what he's going through." Billy shrugged and sat back down as Corey went down the hallway and knocked on Chris's door. "Go away!" Chris shouted, his voice blurred. "Chris, it's Corey. Let me in, please. You need to talk about this." "Just leave me alone!" Corey sighed and leaned against the wall. "Okay. But I'm gonna stay out here all night and sooner or later you're going to have to talk to me." Chris didn't say anything else, and Corey was about to knock again when he heard the sound of the lock on Chris's door being turned. The door swung open. As he stepped into the room, Corey had to let his eyes adjust to total darkness. When he was finally able to see a little from the faint light of the streetlight down the block shining through the window, Corey pulled out the desk chair and sat down next to the bed. "What happened?" he asked softly. In the shadows, he could tell that Chris's body was shaking as he cried. "They were . . . they were . . . kissing!" Chris finally got out between sobs. Corey let out a low whistle. "And you caught them." "Yea . . . yeah." Corey got up, sat on the edge of the bed and gently stroked Chris's hair. Chris responded by sitting up and wrapping his arms around Corey in a fierce bear hug, nearly crushing all the air out of him. Chris buried his head in Corey's shoulder and gave in completely to the pain that he was feeling. Corey just held him tightly and let him cry himself out. "Thank," Chris said as he regained his composure. Corey handed him a handkerchief. "No problem." "It's just that I love Jared so much! Then when Gordie showed up, I was so afraid I'd lose him, and now I have . . ." Corey held Chris tightly again and started stroking his hair. "You don't know that yet." There was a knock on the door and Jared walked in. He glanced embarrassedly at Chris and Corey, then turned back to the door. "Jared, wait." Corey said, letting go of Chris and getting up off the bed. He walked over to Jared. "Stay with him. You two need to talk." He whispered to Jared, then walked out the door. The door closed quietly behind Jared, who just stood there. Chris laid back down and faced the wall, his back to Jared. "Chris . . ." Jared began, tears coming to his eyes. "I'm sorry . . . I don't . . . I don't want Gordie. I love you!" There was no response from Chris's prone figure, so Jared went over to the bed and sat down where Corey had been sitting. Slowly, he put his hand on Chris's shoulder. Chris flinched away from him. "That's not what it looked like to me," came Chris's muffled response. Jared laid down and tried to snuggle up against Chris's back, but Chris moved farther away, pressing his body up against the wall. Undeterred, Jared moved up against Chris again, knowing there was nowhere for Chris to go now. "So you didn't stick around long enough to see me push him away and tell him to leave?" "No." "Well, I did," once again Jared tried to put his hand on Chris's shoulder. This time he didn't flinch. "If I knew he was going to try that shit, I wouldn't have invited him over. Of course, if I had known about this party, I wouldn't have invited him for that, either." Chris rolled over onto his back so he could look at Jared, who moved back to give him some room. "But I thought you said that you loved him?" Jared smiled and leaned over to kiss Chris. Chris tensed up a little, but soon melted into the warmth he always felt whenever he was next to Jared. When they broke off the kiss, Jared laid back down, resting his head on Chris's chest and started running his hand across Chris's broad, cloth covered pecs. "Loved. That's the key word. Yes, I loved Gordie, but after what he did to me, I can't love him that way again. I LOVE YOU now." And he held up his wrist so Chris could see the bracelet. "Thank you. This is the best birthday present I've ever gotten." Chris lifted Jared's chin and kissed him, their tongues wrestling. Breaking off to catch their breaths, Jared smiled up at Chris. "Does this mean I'm forgiven?" Chris laughed and gave Jared another quick peck. "Of course. I'm sorry I over-reacted. Do you forgive me?" "Well, for the over-reaction, yes." "There's something else?" "Yeah, there is. And I don't know if I forgive you for it, yet. You lied to me. All that stuff about wanting to learn to skate and telling Skip and Peter about the competition, it was all to cover up about this party, wasn't it?" Chris shifted uncomfortable. He had hated lying to Jared about that, but he couldn't think of any other way to keep the party a secret. "Yeah. It was. I'm sorry I lied to you. Next time, I'll just ruin the surprise. Now am I forgiven?" Jared answered him by grabbing Chris's belt buckle. Chris sighed. "Oh, yeah." Once the buckle was undone, Jared grabbed Chris's t-shirt and pulled it off over Chris's head, with Chris leaning up to help. The shirt off, Jared worked Chris's shorts off while licking and kissing Chris's now rigid nipples. The shorts unbuttoned and unzipped, Jared yanked them down, taking Chris's boxers, releasing his semi-erect cock. Slowly, he wrapped his hand around it, getting a moan of appreciation from Chris, then worked the foreskin back and forth over the swelling knob, getting Chris fully hard. Once the eight inch monster was fully hard, Jared lowered his head, engulfing the head and first four inches in his hot, wet mouth. With his tongue teasing the sensitive skin under the foreskin, Jared relaxed his throat and took all of Chris into his mouth and worked his muscles on the length that was in his throat, before slowly raising his head back up, only the repeat the process all over again. After five minutes of that treatment, Jared could tell that Chris was ready to cum. He pulled his head off of Chris's dick and started licking his balls, while stroking his dick. Jared felt Chris's body tense, then felt the pulsing of his dick in his hand as Chris shot off all over his chest and Jared's hand. "Come here, babe!" Chris said as he pulled Jared up so they could kiss some more. "Let's get you naked. I want you to fuck me again." Jared laughed as he started striping. While Chris liked getting fuck, Jared knew that he preferred doing the fucking, so he wasn't about to waste this chance. Soon, his lithe body was uncovered, his six inch boner sticking straight out from his sparse blond patch. He climbed back up on the bed and positioned Chris on his hands and knees with one hand while the other opened the night stand drawer and pulled out the lube that Chris kept in there. Jared squeezed some of the fluid on his fingers and started exploring Chris's exposed ass, his fingers finding and teasing the puckered hole, rubbing around it. When he felt Chris relax, he pushed on finger into the hole, causing Chris to gasp and tighten up, wrapping Jared's finger in his tight, hot, moist love tunnel. Feeling Chris relax again, Jared slowly moved his finger in and out, then added another. Chris was squirming around, Jared's fingers causing his flaccid dick to become hard again. Finally, he couldn't stand it any more. "Do it, Jared. Fuck me." Jared leaned over Chris's back and without another word, placed his stiff dick up against Chris's hole. While nibbling on Chris's ear, he slowly pushed his way in until he heard Chris moan. He gave Chris a moment to get used to the intrusion, then pushed the rest of the way in. "Oh, man," Chris groaned again. "That feels great." Jared didn't need any more encouragement. He pulled almost all the way out, then pushed back in. Both boys were moaning and groaning, sweat dripping off their bodies. Fifteen minutes later, Jared moaned and clutched Chris's body tightly to his own. "Oh, gawd, Chris! I'm cumming!" With that he shot off his load deep into Chris's ass, which pushed Chris over the edge and he shot all over his sheets. Satisfied, both boys lay side by side, snuggling. Once they caught their breath, the got dressed and went back out into the living room. Everyone was gone except Corey and Steve, who both had huge smiles on their faces. "You two are extremely noisy, did you know that?" Corey asked. "Good thing your parents are cool about you two." Chris and Jared sat down on the couch. Jared glanced into the kitchen. "Where's Gordie?" Steve glanced at Chris to see how he was taking the question. The smile on Chris's face belayed any fear he and Corey might have been feeling about Chris's reaction. "He left soon after you went back to Chris's room," Steve said. "If I never see him again, it will be too soon." Jared said vehemently. "I wouldn't worry about that. Corey really laid into him about that stunt. I've never seen anyone look that scared before." Steve said. "Remind me, Corey, never to get you mad at me." He smiled. "We'll see," Corey smirked. "But as soothing as my chewing him out was, I think that you two need to get even with him." Chris and Jared smiled. "Just what do you have in mind?" Chris asked. Corey laid out the plan he had come up with and everyone laughed. "Shit, Corey," Chris said respectfully once Corey was done explaining everything. "I never knew you had that devious of a mind." Corey returned his smile. "That's because there was never cause to turn it to you." Well, that's it! Sorry it took so long to complete, but real life kept getting in the way. I hope you enjoyed it!
