Part One:  A Page's Life – Chapter 11

Spring 2033

Yesterday was the senior's last day of finals and with nearly two-thousand less students walking around, it was harder for Page to avoid Dawson.  Page was never aware of just how often his boyfriend was always near him during school.  Page felt that everywhere he gazed, Dawson was there, matching his gaze.  Page knew he would have to talk to Dawson, but now was definitely not the time for the kind of conversation he was preparing to have with Dawson.  The wounds were still too fresh.  After the announcements were finished, the principal dismissed classes and Page actually went out of his way to avoid Dawson.  Page was relieved to see Ashley waiting for him in the parking lot in front of the school; another day avoiding Dawson down, fourteen days to go.

------------------------------------------------------

It was the Friday before John's birthday and knowing his husband would probably take off early to celebrate, Dustin, with Paris and Sidney in tow, stepped out of the elevator and on to the fifty-fifth floor of the Winfield/Caldwell-West Tower.  The elevator opens facing the north wall of the fifty-fifth floor.  Ahead of the elevator is a long, fifty-four-foot wide hallway that stretches one-hundred-eight feet to the northern wall of the building.  The hallway is flanked by glass walls on its sides, to the right, or east side, are conference rooms, including the large boardroom.  To the left, or west side, are the offices for the company officers and vice presidents.  Above this hallway is the LA on 56 restaurant, built into a loft on the fifty-sixth floor, giving the diners spectacular views of the floor and counterweight suspended below the fifty-fifth floor balcony.

Directly to the left and right of the three elevators is the entrance to the circular balconies that lead to Lauren's office on the same floor.  The large circular opening in the middle of the balcony is home to the large counterweight that keeps the building stable in the high-level winds and earthquakes.  Dustin was halfway around this counterweight and halfway to his husband's office.  Sidney and Paris were already at the west door to the Lauren's office, opening it and walking in, much to her dismay.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa; just where do you two think you're going," Lauren asked while moving in a frantic motion to get from behind her desk.

Before the boys could answer, Dustin walked in to the east door to Lauren's office and answered, "They're with me.  They wanted to see their dad's office."

Dustin and the boys walked up the steps in the south part of Lauren's office and into John's office.  John was sitting on a sofa in his office-lobby with Zach going over some plans when Sidney and Paris ran down the steps into that section of the office.

"Daddy," the boys yelled in unison as they ran toward the sofa.

John stood up to be embraced by his boys, hugging each one in an arm.  "Hey, guys!  How did you two get in here?"

"Hey, babe," Dustin called toward his husband.  "Thought we'd stop by to visit and see what our plans would be for tonight.

"Actually, you're here just at the right time," John responded.  "We were just about to leave for the day.  I wanted to go out with you tonight and then go out as a family on my actual birthday since it's on a Sunday this year.  You know, change things up a bit."

"Okay; I'll just bring the boys back home and call a sitter."

"That might take some time, though," John said, thinking of what to do.

Before John could voice an answer, Zach, who was now talking with the boys piped up, saying, "I can watch them."

John turned to Zach and asked, "Are you sure, I'm sure you have other plans."

"No, I don't have any plans.  I was going to go home and chill for the rest of the day."

"Zach, this isn't in your job description; you don't have to do this."

"Nonsense; I could use the company."

"Are you sure," Dustin asked.

"Positive."

"Okay," John exclaimed, "It's settled then.  Dustin and I will swing around to pick the boys up tonight.  Thanks, Zach."

John and Dustin kissed their boys goodbye and told them to behave before the men departed.

------------------------------------------------------

Zach took the boys shopping at The Grove, ending the day with pizza and ice cream from The Cheesecake Factory.  Evening came as Zach and the boys pulled up to his apartment and bounded up the stairs.  After getting a tour of the townhouse, Sidney and Paris went to the bathroom together while Zach went into through the clothes he bought.

"God; he's cute," Paris said with apparent excitement to his brother.

"He's a little old don't you think?"

"No; he's perfect.  Age is really just a number, Sid."

"Yeah, um, okay; tell him that."

"You're probably too young to notice, but he was staring at me this whole time.  I have to know if he's in to me, because I really like him.  I think I'm in love!"

"I'm not that much younger than you," Sidney mumbled back to his brother.

After giving it some thought, Sidney decided to tell his brother his brilliant idea, "We should try on our clothes."

"But we already did."

"No, we should show them off, you know, lik-"

"You mean model them?"

"Yeah.  At some point, get completely naked at call Zach to help you.  If he gets horny and starts groping ya, then you win, age is just a number."

"And if I lose?"

"The humiliation will be enough punishment for you," Sidney said with a smile.

The boys left the bathroom and found Zach in the living room flipping through channels.

"Hey boys; I was just trying to find something on the tele, but nothing good is on.  If you want to watch something, you're more than welcome to it."

"Actually," Paris said, "we have a better idea.  The boys told Zach about the fashion show; to Paris' delight, Zach was completely excited about the idea.

After ten minutes of runway action, Paris was ready to set the plan in motion.

"Okay," Paris said to his brother.  "I'm ready, are you?"

"Paris, I don't really have to do anything," Sidney reassured his brother.  "I'll just walk out the door, you count to, um, twenty, and call for Zach to help you."

"Okay," Paris said, lying on the bed.  "How do I look?"

"Slutty."

Paris rolled his eyes and responded, "Just go out there already!"

"You asked!"

"Go," Paris said, with a serious look on his face.

Twenty seconds after Sidney walked out of the room, Paris called out for Zach to help him with something.

Zach looked at Sidney, who shrugged his shoulders, got up from the sofa, and walked toward the bedroom.  When Zach entered the bedroom, he was definitely unprepared for what he saw next.  Paris was lying on his stomach on the bed completely naked.  Zach drank in the sight of what was, in his opinion, the most beautiful boy he has ever met willingly showing off his nakedness for Zach.

Paris smile beamed as the lump Zach swallowed seem to go to his crotch.

"Paris," Zach started, but paused, trying to gather his thoughts.  Before Zach could speak again, Paris got off the bed, completely revealing himself to Zach.  Paris grabbed Zach's wrists, looked into his eyes, and said, "It's okay if you like me, I like you, too."

Swallowing another lump, Zach responded very quietly, "Paris, I really like you, but we can't do this.  I could get into so much trouble with your dads, one of whom is my boss."  He swallowed another lump, enjoying the touch of this beautiful boy and added, "I would love to, believe me, but I can't risk my life here."

"What if I asked?"

"No!  Don't do that!  They'll think that I coerced you into doing it."

"Then what should I do?"

"Nothing."  A pause.  "Look; I'll look after you and your brother so we can stay close, if something takes off, then we'll go from there.  I just need a plan before I ask your fathers, `Oh, by the way, can I date your-' how old are you?"

"Thirteen."

"Dear God, I'm twice your age!"

"Don't worry about that, I don't care!  I really like you!"

"Okay, if it doesn't bother you."

"No, it doesn't; does it bother you?"

"No; but I am a little worried about your parents, though."

"Like you said, we'll take it from there."

"Yeah; whatever `there' may be!"

"Do you want me to model in my birthday suit for you?"

Zach, finally relaxed, chuckled and said, "No; if you do, I don't know if I'd be able to restrain myself any longer."

Zach watched as Paris teasingly dressed in a very slow manner, making sure he bent over to get each clothes item, completely exposing himself to Zach.

------------------------------------------------------

When John and Dustin came into Zach's townhouse, the boys bounded toward them with two large clothing bags in their arms.

"Ah, Zach," John said, "you didn't have to spend that much money on them!"

"How much do we owe you," Dustin asked with sincerity.

"Oh, that's okay," Zach said, throwing his hands in the air.  "It was my pleasure, really.  I haven't had as much fun as today in a very long time, so really, it was my pleasure."

"Are you sure, Zach," John asked.

"Very positive, sir."

"Okay, well boys let's go!"

"Zach," John said to him, placing a hand on his shoulder, "thanks for watching them.  Dustin and I really needed this tonight."

As John was turning to leave, Zach said, "Sir; if it's okay, I'd like to do this again sometime.  I really did have a lot of fun with Paris and Sidney, today.  I could watch them when school is out or whenever you need me to, if that's okay."

"Wow, did I hire an assistant or a babysitter?"  John looked at his assistant and decided that he was being sincere.  "Okay; why not?  I'm sure Dustin won't mind and the boys seem to really like you, especially Paris, I've never seen him this happy before.  Honey, is that okay with you?"

"I'm sure we can work something out," Dustin said, laughing, knowing this would free a great deal of his time.

"Okay; it's settled then.  I can't wait to see the boys again."

"Eagerness; that's one of the reasons I hired you, keep it up, Zach."

The men and boys said their good-byes and parted ways.  Zach felt as though he had met the love of his life; his heart was racing and he began laughing hysterically.  He now only need to convince John and Dustin of his completely insane and crazy plan; he decided at this moment that he would do anything to be with Paris, including risking his job.
