Life after Mike      Chapter 5


The early morning hours were very quite, as Paul woke, got out of bed and

They said good-bye and as they both turned to leave they both realized that

Paul went in and asked mom what she wanted for dinner and she said let's
order Pizza, they ordered it and when it came they ate and paul cleaned up
the little mess that was made. his cell rang and he looked and it was
Jerry, he walked down the hall and into the bedroom and over and laid down
on the bed, they talked for what seemed to be hours, and in fact it had
been, Paul looked at the clock and it was 10:30, He said that they need to
hang up and that he needed to get to bed because of school tomorrow, they
each said good night follow by I love you, and they hung up. Paul went down
the hall and into the living room and saw that mom had fallen asleep in the
chair. He gently woke her and told her that she needed to go to bed, He
escorted her t her room and them to the side of her bed, he kissed her on
the cheek and said good night mom I love you.

She laid down and said I love you too and was asleep in a matter of
minutes.

Paul went into his room and left the door open in case she needed him in
the night he got undressed and climbed into bed, he said a small prayer, he
asked for od to watch over mom and protect her from harm, then he said Mike
you look in on her as well. he laid down and fell alseep after a few
minutes.
