Now that I've said that, I'd like to add that chances are you didn't stroll by this site and pick a few titles because you thought it was some clean comedy or hetero-erotica stuff. Chances are you know what you're doing, and by giving that statement earlier, I am not responsible for your activities despite my warning. This is a novel styled story so you won't see much sex for a while, but I promise that as the story builds up you'll see that it was all worth it. This story contains boy/boy sex, some is consensual, some is forced and the rest is just a mix of persuasion/force going into consensual. The characters are minors in high school, ranging in age from 14 to 18 (in the story only the characters from 15-18 actually have sex.) There is cussing, detailed descriptions, the human body, yada yada, and everything that makes life enjoyable and painful all at once. This is completely and utterly fiction and it is also my work, therefore you are not allowed to try to publish or call it your own. I encourage you to share it with others but remember that Plogo Cicero created Life. If you have a comment or just want to send your ideas to me, contact me through plogo.cicero@gmail.com. If you're bored and just want to see what I'm up to, then go ahead. Do me a huge favor and put the subject of the email as "Life: ..." replace the '...' with whatever you want. For example: "Life: Comment on Jack Michello" or if it's a general question just put "General Question". I like to organize my emails into folders and I think everything is easier to go through- especially because this is my first story on Nifty and it certainly won't be my last. I don't know how to do italics on this 'notepad' so I put some of his thoughts in parenthesis. Teaser: After four years of Juvie, Jack Michello can now try to live and settle with some issues in a new family. While he and his once close little brother dodge each other and smash heads, Jack has to settle issues with his stepfather. As if things weren't difficult enough from the amount of adjusting he would have to do, Jack has to start his junior year of High school. He befriends and protects a kid, makes a new friend but also puts himself in harms way when he joins the boxing team at school. After trashing the star kid, he becomes the punching bag or in this case the thrusting one. Times like these make it difficult to face his sexuality. Can Jack hide his feelings towards his father, brother, or stepfather... or his past in Juvie, or even his sexual feelings for a multiple of guys? Will he admit that he's gay or will he force his feelings away and endure life as a jaded person? Who knows? Well, you will if you read on. ^_^ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 1: Freedom I stepped out past the gates and narrowed my eyes to catch a glimpse of a plane overhead. (I wonder if it's her), I thought while I closed my eyes and allowed myself to feel the pulsing heat on my wet face. It felt like I was waiting there for hours, and as the time passed in the smoldering heat, more and more of the water in my bottle was being wasted on my back and unkept hair. "Where the fuck is she?" I mumbled as if anyone could hear me even if I shouted. I was standing outside of the Timothy Hawkshire Juvenile Center, a huge kid's prison that stood out in the middle of nowhere. (At least it felt like the middle of nowhere) If you were one of the lucky guys- aka the 'suck ups' there, you'd be able to work outside of the prison. Of all my years here, I've only been let out about four times. The wardens would drive you a couple of miles where a small town let Juvenile Kids work for a fraction of the minimum wage. The pay was shitty but being out was the real joy. I looked over at the drowsy officer in the booth nearby, every few minutes his forehead would smack the plastic window. He would jerk upwards, cuss at me, and then go right back to his nap. I couldn't help but stands there and watch the moron, after another bout of smack, and 'slim ball', 'pisser' and other words (that I considered either lame or made up) he looked up past me and pointed out an approaching car. As soon as I saw that she didn't come alone I frowned. Goddamn it, did she have to bring that jerkoff? I mouthed a bit of cusses lifted my duffel bag (of few possessions). Mom stayed in the car and for a second I just stared at her small frame, then I switched focus to the tall, broad shoulder man stepping out of the passenger seat. "Hey Jack!" His loud deep voice bellowed forth, making me grimace with automatic disapproval. He held out his large hand and smiled at me. "Sorry, I forgot your name." I muttered, staring him down and wondering if maybe he'd crack. Just when I thought I saw a hint of nervousness, he flashed an obnoxious grin. "It's Richard but call me Ric." He said lifting his hand an inch higher. I looked down at his hand and finally shook it, purposely putting a bit of umph into it. "You've got quite a grip there Jack. I need some strong hands at my shop; do you think that you'll be up to it?" "I dunno." I shrugged (or tried, the bag was putting a strain on me. I wasn't a small guy or anything but I was tired and it seemed to add pounds as the time went by). "Maybe. I guess I'll need a job now that I'm out." As if to ruin any bit of normalcy or quiet chaos, my mom's loud, high pitched voice shrieked through the half opened windows, "HURRY UP JACKIE, YOUR BROTHER MISSES YOU!!!!" "I'm surprised he even remembers me." I mumbled and walked past Ric before he could comment on what I had just said. Once seated in the back with the bag on my lap, I leaned over to Mom. "Can't you just call me Jack like everyone else?" She responded quickly, "NO, I'm not like everyone else, I'm your mother. I can call you whatever I like. Besides, Johnny likes his nickname." "But his doesn't sound like a chick's name." "Name one woman who has-" "Jackie Kennedy." Ric laughed at my quick answer, so I turned sharply to him. "And what's so funny, huh?" He didn't answer; instead he just leaned back while Mom turned the car around and started back to the airport. The ride to the airport was dull, and the plane ride home was even more boring. I managed to get a seat close to the window but there was a noisy little two year old brat who kept kicking the back of my seat. I dealt with it for a while and after the kid's mother quieted him down I managed to sleep the rest of the trip. I don't remember exactly how I got off the plane but when I woke up, it was while Ric was driving into the driveway of a 'suburban looking' house. (Well, that's probably 'cause it is the suburbs, idiot.) I turned my head to look back at the narrow lamplight street behind us. I stepped out with my bag in one hand; I turned to look at the street. A whole bunch of houses lined the circular street, and they all looked the same. Even the houses off in the distance (past a separate road that connects these streets) looked the same. The only differences were the cars in the driveway or the toys left out in the open. One house even had a gnome and another had Christmas and Halloween lights- which was bizarre because it was later August. "Jack!!" Mom called me, her voice made me jump and drop the bags. Once I turned she was pointing to a shadowy figure in the doorway. "Come on, Johnny." She tried to coerce him. Eventually he stepped out and looked at me. I hadn't seen Johnny since he was ten, and throughout my four years of Juvie he never even bothered to call or send a letter. I wasn't about to tackle him or wait for a hug, instead I picked my bag up and walked towards the doorway. "Excuse me." I muttered beneath my breath. He looked up at me through his big, glossy blue eyes. I remembered then how alike we were. His eyes were brighter and lighter than mine, which was more of a steel blue. Mom said I took after my dad, while Johnny inherited her 'baby blue' eyes. Our skin tone was the same, except for a few 'puberty marks' on his skin. I was a tad bit against squeezing pimples, so I just wash my face and let nature take it's course- but by looking at his forehead it nearly made me laugh to imagine him in the bathroom cussing the woes of puberty. He had freckles and I didn't, he had dimples and I didn't- he had everything that made a kid cute while I had more of a mature look. (Even a 14 I looked older than I was). I was around five feet eleven and he was just four inches shorter. I could tell thought that he'd probably outgrow me. The thing that made it obvious that we were brothers was the curly mop of rich brown hair. I realized that I was standing in front of him, staring and saying nothing. "You're not transparent. So, can you just move?" Mom yelled my name but I didn't budge. I knew Johnny wanted nothing to do with me so I figured that might as well give him what he wanted. But when he frowned and his bright blue eyes showed a hint of sadness I immediately felt guilty. He stepped back and let me through but before I could even get past the door I was pushed in and turned around. Looking up I saw Ric's angry and flushed face. "How dare you speak to your brother like that?!" Ric bellowed. I tried to shrug him off but he was far too strong. "After all those years-" "Exactly. After all those years." I shouted back. I didn't continue though, I was pissed off now and even angrier because this asshole was actually handling me. I looked over at Johnny who was looking down. Mom had her hand on his shoulder. He deserved it... they both did. "What is that supposed to mean?" He shook me once, enough for me to look back at him with an even more furious look. "I've been away for four years and not once did he visit. Obviously I don't have a fucking brother!" Ric stepped back, placed his hands in his pockets and sighed. "No swearing." He muttered. I knew I had at least won this battle. From his reaction I figured that Mom didn't bother to tell him that Johnny didn't give a shit about me ever since I went away. Everyone started to leave the room one by one, first Ric, then Mom, then Johnny. I just sat down on the closest chair and started muttering a list of cusses until someone walked up to me. At first I thought it was Johnny but when I looked up I was staring at lively green eyes. They belonged to a kid who was about fourteen. (So Mr. Asshole has a kid, huh?) The boy had dirty blonde hair and a band aid on his cheek. He was chewing a wad of gum, and looked like an annoying cow. The gum slipped out of his mouth and onto the carpet, with a frown and look of disappointment he picked it up and tossed it in the wastebasket at the corner. Despite appearing the age of my brother, he looked really... large. He was a few inches shorter than Johnny but had broad shoulders and was really muscular for his age. "I'm Henry." His cheerful voice suddenly shook me out of observation. I was pretty sure it was a forced, fake cheerfulness but I didn't bother to say anything about his 'superficial' habits. "Jack." I muttered. "I know." He said with a grin as obnoxious as his fathers. "I guess we're step brothers now. Um. Dad told me to show you your room. You get to sleep in the attic." He kept babbling on and on and instead of engaging the pint-size 'Ric' I just followed him quietly. Who the hell would think attics were cool? They were like a private storage place, an overhead basement, or even a large closet. Once there I actually liked it. It was irregular in shape but that's what made it cool. The attic was painted in a watery light gray, which made everything else look pretty cool since the color scheme was black/gray. I couldn't help but smile. I was finally away from those white and off white rooms, the hard beds, the dull sheets, and the virtually empty areas. The bed was full sixe and the sheets were steel gray while the folded blanket was black with gray stripes. I had a desk and a laptop, and- "What the hell does Ric do for a living?!" I blurted out while I trailed my fingers on the computer. "He doesn't work for the mafia or something? sports? drugs?" Henry started to laugh. "No, he used to be an accountant with grandpa but when gramps died, he decided to give the company to Uncle Dan. He still has a lot of money from his accountant days and from gramp's will. Nowadays he's just working at his carpentry shop like he had done in high school." "Why the hell would he do that? If he's loaded like you say why bother work at all?" "He never liked being an accountant; it was his dad's dreams. He liked building stuff and making things. I guess that's why he's so lenient with me about football." I listened to the kid go on and on again about his love for sports and being grateful that his dad was letting him play so long as he got a B and didn't get into trouble. "Once in a while he'll come home with those profession books and try to persuade me into law or something." He shrugged. "I'm just fourteen, it's not like I have to think about any of that. I'm just having fun you know? So, what are you into?" I looked up at his green eyes and felt ashamed. "I dunno." for most of the time I was in Juvie, I just wanted to get out. I never bothered to think of what I wanted to do with myself once I did. "Eh, you'll figure it out. Hehe, I can always bring up that profession book." I was hoping that the kid was joking. There was no way I was going to sit down and read about lawyers and accountants and shit. "I gotta go get my stuff ready for training tomorrow." Henry opened the door and walked down the steps, then shouted "Night" once he was down at the bottom. The next few days were okay, I stayed in my room mostly but Ric or Mom would drag me down to go with them to the zoo or beach or something. Henry and I went for guides/walks around town and played some video games when we were home. It was okay hanging out with the kid because I was only three years older than him (well, almost. My birthday was coming up in a few days). It wasn't like I had to deal with some ten year old kid... which was how Johnny was acting. Johnny and I still avoided each other, which put a strain on Henry's relationship with him. I swear, each time Johnny walked by Henry's room, Henry would go into a bout of sadness like he missed the prick. I stopped hanging around the boy, it wasn't like we were best buds, plus staying in my room was far better than dealing with Johnny's hissy fits and punk attitude. After a full week of relaxing and lounging around, Mom came up to my room and told me that school was starting soon and that I would be starting the 11th grade in the same school that Henry and Johnny were starting 9th grade in. I would have to go with them each morning on the school bus until my 17th birthday when I could actually drive the small distance. "Great, I get to hang around with a couple of brats." "I thought you liked Henry." "He's okay, but every time Johnny sees us he starts acting like an ass." "Watch your mouth." "It's true." "But I still don't want you to swear." "You never used to care before." There was a pause. I used to cuss all over the place before Juvie, and she just swore back, even Johnny swore and yet here she was trying to reprogram me almost 17 years too late. "And look what happened." She said. There was an even longer pause and it was broken only by Henry shouting. "Dad says Dinner is ready!!!!" --------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope you enjoyed the story so far. In the next chapter, you'll get introduced to some new characters, and poor Jack will get introduced to some new feelings. Till next time!!!
