Date: Sun, 5 Sep 2010 18:07:50 +0000 From: Chris Killey Subject: The Lonesome Road - Part One (MM / BB) The boring stuff: This is a work of fiction involving unprotected sex between individuals of high school age. If your not of legal age to be reading material like this then leave now. The lonesome road. I woke up early that morning, the dim sun shining through the crack in my curtains and the cry of the gulls as they swooped down for their own catch of the day. Rubbing my eyes with a weary yawn I look at my alarm clock beside my bed, 6:30. Ugh, great, once again I beat my alarm clock to it, I will never get back to sleep at this point. Dragging my weary feet off the soft, warm heaven of the duvet and mattress and onto the cold, hard floor I shuffled my way to the curtains and threw them open to look at yet another overcast day, what a surprise. Its not like you get much variation in such an isolated village near the Irish sea, its either rain or clouds, summer lasts for a couple of days if we're lucky here, or at least that's how it seems. Shaking myself off I looked out over the glorious sea view my bedroom window afforded me and groaned. Another Monday, great... Walking into the bathroom adjoined to my bedroom I had a quick shower before leaning on the sink examining myself in the mirror. I should probably take this opportunity to introduce myself, I'm Kyle, Kyle Jameson, I am 6" and comparatively athletic meaning that I am fairly slim with a few pectoral muscles, a lightly defined six pack and two small biceps. I am 16 years old and I live in a middle of nowhere town in a middle of nowhere place by myself. How? I hear you ask, well that requires some explanation, a couple of years ago I grew sick of the big cities and my parents with their high paid jobs and no time for their only son. So I took the initiative and filed for emancipation, it was a fairly simple process with no regrets or sorrow on both sides and me receiving a comfortable sum of money from my parents every year to live on as part of the deal. Oh and I'm gay. The local high school is fairly small with a student body of approximately 3000 and a faculty of 115 including caretakers. It's name shall ever be etched into my mind for it was the final chain that held me down and prevented me from finally being who I truly wanted to be. Free. St. James' was a two story building with about 100 classrooms, a small library, a gym and an assembly hall, It is a late Victorian era building with gargoyles around the rooftops but it's flat sides that have been modernised with pebbledash. The halls are a dull grey colour and the uniforms consist of a black blazer, black trousers or skirts for girls and white shirts with red ties. As you can tell it isn't a fun place to be. My tale begins as I left off with me dragging my sorry ass out of bed, brushing my teeth and dressing myself before I meandered downstairs, my eyelids still heavy with the lack of sleep from the night before. Grabbing some cereal I ate quickly before grabbing my bag and walking out of the door. The crisp morning air hit me hard, as it always does on these cool autumn mornings. In the distance the waves crashed upon the rocks adding another element to nature's grand symphony. Grabbing my bike I hit the roads. Cycling around this early was the only way I could see this picturesque town without the glares of the residents. I think this will require some explaining as well. Because this is a small coastal village everybody knows everybody, now that wouldn't be such a problem if I lived with a normal family and didn't draw attention to myself. But that would be boring. I was something to be gawked at, the fact that I was 16 and living by myself in a seaside bungalow was strange enough by itself but the fact that I had more brains than half these idiot's inbred spawns combined didn't help my local standing! Thank god they didn't know I was gay, something tells me that they would try and run me out of town if I let that bit of information slip. Now you may be thinking what the hell this ignorant bastard is talking about, well let me put it this way, with my upbringing, I learned quickly to look after myself. I had to, no-one else would do it for me. This means that I am quite callused when it comes to making new friends and you would be right, I keep myself to myself and work on my schooling, as I said, once that was over I was free! As I finished my cycle around the small village I made my way to school. Passing through the ancient wrought iron gates I shuddered, as I do everyday, as I felt the gargoyles glaring down at me. Little did I know that this day would be the start of a new life. As I readied myself for the first class, English literature, took my usual seat at the front of the class. It wasn't a case of me being a nerd; it was more of a case of no one else sitting there. The teachers, Mrs Hill, a tall, fierce woman with raven black hair and rectangular glasses. Nobody in the school liked her but I adored her, she was the perfect teacher and perhaps the only other person in this god-awful village that I compared to mentally, came in shortly afterwards and began telling us about our new individual project. "Now class, as you know I have been pushing you to read some of the great classics now I have some exiti...." Just as she began speaking there was a knock at the door, a tall boy, about 6' 3" came in. His hair gleamed like sunlight on a field of barely hanging down to just past his ears, he was wearing the uniform but I could see that he was well made underneath it, with big, powerful shoulders and obviously defines arms. He flashes a killer, perfect smile and came over to the teacher, handing her a letter. Reading through it she nodded a couple of times and smiled at the new boy, reaching out to shake his hand. "Perhaps Kyle will have some competition then after all," she said to him grinning. "Class, this is Jensen Hope, he will be joining us from now on. Glad to have you with us Jensen, take a seat next to Kyle here" She said motioning at me. Jensen looked me up and down, said nothing and took a seat right next to mine. There were three other seats on the desk but he took the one right next to mine. Mrs Hill carried on explaining that we would be working in partners over the next term to compose a novelette. It could be any genre and any setting, the only limit being our imaginations. Rolling my eyes I looked about the room to see the class talking excitedly to themselves, pretty much ignoring Jensen and me. Sighing I turned to face the cute boy beside me. Before I could get a word out he held out his hand and said in an American accent, "Hey, I'm Jensen, pleased to meet you. If you will excuse me for saying but you don't look like you're from around here, and well so far every local kid I've seen has either been too obsessed with the fact that I'm from America or they have avoided me entirely, is everyone here like this?" At that moment I felt all the barriers I had raised over the past 16 years of my life just melt away, at last someone who at least thought the same way (at least partially) as I did. I must have looked thicker than a brick just staring at him because he began to lower his hand sighing. Fearing I was loosing my chance at some form of friendship I grabbed it urgently and shook it a couple of times before introducing myself. "Hey Jensen, I'm Kyle, Kyle Jameson. Pleased to meet you. I know what you mean about the locals though, they tend to treat me as though I'm some sort of extra-terrestrial. Hey how would you like to work on this project with me, we gotta stick together..." I blushed and turned away as I began gabbling at him, my normally cool composure, nowhere to be found. "Hey, don't sweat it mate, I'd be the same if I had to live here with this lot by myself. Your right, we do have to stick together, how's about we meet at lunch and discuss it." I tuned to him and smiled coyly, god I was an idiot around cute guys! "sounds good" I grinned at him. Little did I know what I had let myself in store for! ____________________________________ Thanks guys for reading, this is my first attempt at a story on here, I do hope to carry this on but I would like to hear from you and get your thoughts on this.
