Jon and Matt
Chapter Five

Monday morning came too early for Matt as he hit the snooze button on his alarm. He’d set it for an hour earlier than usual. He planned to surprise Jon and meet up with him for the walk to school, even though Jon’s house was in the opposite direction.

When the alarm went off for the second time, he dragged himself out of bed and stumbled to the bathroom. He turned on the shower and brushed his teeth while the water was warming up. As the mirror steamed up, he stripped off the t-shirt and briefs that he had slept in, and climbed under the reviving spray. As he soaped himself, he peed out his morning wood and watched as it disappeared down the drain, mixing with the soapy water. Peeing in the shower was a quirk he’d developed a few years ago, and he idly wondered if other people did it to. He made a mental note to ask Jon sometime when they were hanging out.

His soapy hands felt good on his body, especially when he washed his crotch. As he soaped up his crack, he slipped a finger cautiously into his hole. He was surprised at how easily his well lubed digit went in, and he kind of liked the feel. He removed his finger quickly. This was only an experimental mission, and he really didn’t want to get all hot and bothered before school. In fact, once he had finished washing his hair, he turned down the hot water and let the cold spray have its effect on him as he danced around a little under the shower head.

When he had dressed and gone downstairs, he was surprised to find no one in the kitchen. Then he remembered that it was earlier than usual. He poured himself some orange juice and grabbed a bagel and some cream cheese. He thought of Miss Selwitz and smiled. After leaving a note for his parents, he was out the door.

Matt arrived at Jon’s house at 7:45 and tapped at the kitchen door. Shelley opened the door with a surprised look on her face.

“Matt, come in. Jon’s still upstairs. Was he expecting you?”

“No, I just thought I’d walk him to school.”

After ascertaining that Matt had eaten, she sent him upstairs to hurry Jon along. When Matt opened Jon’s door, Jon was just zipping up his pants.

“Damn, I just missed the good part!” Matt said, closing the door. Then he added, “Sorry I didn’t knock, I wanted to surprise you.”

“Well you sure did!” Jon answered as he scooped him into a hug. “What are you doing here so early?”

“I figured that walking you to school was the only way I was going to get a hug from my coach before the big test.” Matt grinned at him. “And it worked!”

Jon laughed at the satisfied look on Matt’s face. “All part of the service!” He said, taking Matt back in his arms and smothering his neck with gentle kisses.

As they moved toward the door, Matt put his hand on Jon’s shoulder, and spoke almost shyly, “Can I have one for the road?”

Jon was more than happy to oblige.

Shelley had Jon’s breakfast on the table when they got to the kitchen. When he’d eaten, he kissed his mom on the cheek and the boys headed for the door.

“Wait a minute,” she barked, “Don’t I get a kiss from Matt?”

Matt blushed as he dutifully walked over to her and kissed her other cheek.

“There, that’s better. Symmetry is my life!” She joked.

Maybe it was nerves, but Matt was in a silly mood. He was playfully shoving Jon and giggling and singing tv themes…anything that popped into his head. He was just happy to be with him. Suddenly, he stopped, facing Jon. He was having a hard time maintaining a serious expression. He looked right into Jon’s eyes and said,

“Seriously, I have something very important to ask you.”

Jon regarded him with a cocked eyebrow. He could detect the merriment in Matt’s eyes.

“Jon,” Matt began, “Do you ever pee in the shower? I’m taking a survey.”

Jon blushed as he laughed, “Why would you ask something like that. Man, your nuts, you know that?”

Matt’s eyes went wide, “You do, don’t you!”

Then he began dancing around Jon singing, “Jon pees in the shower, Jon pees in the shower!”

Jon lunged at him and before they knew it, they were rolling around, wrestling in the grass by the sidewalk, laughing uncontrollably. When Jon finally got Matt pinned beneath him, he looked furtively up and down the deserted street and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

“I thought you weren’t going to tease me anymore. Do I have to sick my big brother on you?”

Matt smiled up at him from his helpless position, saying, “Doesn’t look like you need any help!”

Matt must have gotten the silliness out of his system and they resumed the walk to school in affable silence. After a block had passed, Jon glanced over at Matt, and said,

“Sometimes I do.”

Matt gave him a funny look.

“In answer to your question.” Jon said matter of factly.

Matt giggled, “Me to.” As they approached the steps of the school.

The morning went quickly. Both boys were well prepared for the test in Mr. Hanson’s class. They finished quickly and were allowed to leave early, giving them time for a leisurely lunch period. They were both happy to be done with science for the year.

They were the first ones to the table, but were joined shortly by Stacey and Trev. Trev had a worried look on his face.

“What’s up?” Matt asked. “You look like someone just killed your puppy.”

Trevor groaned. “I don’t think I did too well on Hanson’s test. It’s one of my classes that Stacey isn’t in, so we couldn’t study together.”

Jon sympathized with him. “Maybe he’ll let you take it over. I did last year ‘cause I missed a week of school with the flu and I was behind in everything. I did really bad the first time around, but I managed to bring it up to a B the next time.”

“I could ask, but I don’t have an excuse like that, unless he’d accept young love as a sickness.” He smiled weakly at Stacey, who put her arm around his shoulder and kissed his cheek. Jon and Matt smiled at them warmly. They were two of the nicest people. They really deserved their happiness. Stacey regarded the two boys sadly, as though reading their minds.

She sighed, “I wish the world would grow up. I feel guilty being able to show affection in public when you guys can’t.”

Jon wiggled his eyebrows, “Don’t worry about us, Stace, We make up for it in private!”

Matt blushed from head to toe while the others had a good laugh.

“Hey,” Trevor announced. “I just realized, this is your one week anniversary. Got any plans?”

“Not really, Matt’s coming over for dinner, but that’s about it. I guess we don’t make such a big deal about stuff like that. I think we’ll just be relieved to get through all our tests.” Jon said, kicking Trevor under the table and giving him a slight wink. Unbeknownst to Matt, Jon did indeed have plans.

“By the way, Matt,” Jon said, trying to keep the excitement out of his voice. “Why don’t you ask your folks if you can sleep over. We don’t have any classes tomorrow.”

As Jon predicted, Matt liked the idea, and dug his cell phone out of his backpack and called his mom and made it official.

Matt was really dreading the social studies quiz, even though he was prepared. Jon gave him a playful punch on the arm. “Relax, you had the best tutor in the world.”

Sitting in Miss Selwitz’s room, Matt had a case of the jitters. He’d been over the material a hundred times with Jon, but he knew he sometimes didn’t test well, and he really didn’t need this to be one of those times. He was pretty sure he knew the answers to all of the questions, and answered them fairly quickly. Then came the part he dreaded. The essay portion. He read the first question, and opened the little green book and stared at the blank page and his mind went just as blank. A wave of panic came over him as he just sat there. He looked across the room at Jon, bent over his desk scribbling away. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Gradually, sentences began to form in his mind. His eyes snapped open and he began to write furiously before the words could elude him again.

Jon finished first. As he walked to the head of the room to hand in his test, he glanced anxiously at Matt who was bent over his work in deep concentration. Jon quietly left the room, but he didn’t go far. He paced outside the door for a half hour when finally the bell rang. He opened the door just as Miss S. said,

“I’m sorry Matt, you’ll have to stop.” Matt was the only one left in the classroom.

Matt quickly scrawled the last two words of his last essay and slapped the pen on the desk with a sigh. He felt completely drained as he clipped the little book to the exam sheet and wearily approached the desk. He gave Miss S. a tired smile and headed for where Jon was waiting by the door.

Her voice stopped him. “Don’t you want to know how you did?” She was saying as she took the answer key out of her desk drawer and bent over Matt’s paper.

Matt was torn. If he’d done badly, it might spoil his evening with Jon. On the other hand, not knowing might be just as bad. He decided to wait and find out. One way or another.

Jon and Matt sat in the front row and waited while she compared the answers on Matt’s sheet to the key in her hand. She smiled as she put the paper aside, giving Matt hope. He still wasn’t sure about the essays, though. Miss Selwitz began to read. Every now and then she nodded her head and smiled. Matt was about to explode from the tension. Jon reached under the desk and risked a comforting hand on Matt’s knee.

Finally Miss Selwitz clipped the book back to the paper and scribbled something on it. She smiled as she held it toward Matt who with some trepidation walked up to the desk to retrieve it with Jon on his heels. When the boys saw that she had written a triumphant A+ in bold marker across the top of the page, they let out a whoop, and began jumping up and down excitedly.

Matt came around the desk and bent down and gave a somewhat startled Miss Selwitz a hug. Then he turned to Jon and they locked arms and began to jump up and down again.

“Boys, boys, calm down! You’re giving me heartburn.” She laughed. “I’m running late for a meeting, so I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for your results, Jon, but about YOU I don’t worry! And Matt, I’ll be here all day tomorrow if you want to drop by for an extra credit assignment.”

As the boys were about to leave, Matt turned to Miss Selwitz. “I couldn’t have done it without Jon. He tutored me like a drill sergeant. He really deserves a lot of credit for getting me through this.”

Miss Selwitz put a hand on each of the boy’s shoulders and smiled at them knowingly.

“I don’t want to embarrass you boys, but it’s obvious to me that you’re very special to one another. I hope you have a great summer together.”

She discreetly left the classroom, closing the door behind her, leaving Matt and Jon beaming at each other. One more person knew. One more person was glad for them. They fell into an embrace that lasted a good five minutes before flipping off the lights and venturing out into the hallway. At the end of the hall, Mr. Jenks the custodian was mopping the floor. He paused in his work and waved at the boys.

“You guys have a great summer!” He called cheerfully.

“Thanks Mr. Jenks, I know we will!” Jon called back.

Matt wanted so badly to go straight to Jon’s house, but he had to change and pick up a change of clothes for tomorrow. He was also anxious to show off his test to his parents. He asked Jon if it would be okay to come over just in time for dinner. Jon thought that would be a good idea, because he had some chores to do, so they arranged that Matt would come over at 7:00.

“Hey!” Matt chirped as he waved his test in the air, “you held up your end of the bargain, it’s time I started keeping my promise to you.”

“Huh?” Jon looked puzzled.

“Let’s run to my house, you know, get some exercise.” Matt said as he started running.

He looked over his shoulder, and slowed his pace to a brisk jog so Jon could keep up. It was only about a quarter of a mile to Matt’s house, but when they finally came to a halt at the front door, Jon was panting for breath. Matt was breathing hard. He was a little more out of shape than he cared to admit. When their breathing had returned to normal, Matt took Jon by the hand and pulled him around the side of the house, and into the side door of the garage. When they were alone in the dim garage, Matt started to lean in for a kiss.

“Wait.” Jon blurted out. “I’m really gross and sweaty. I probably stink pretty bad!”

“I’m probably pretty bad to.” Matt agreed, laughing, “I don’t mind if you don’t. Actually, you smell pretty sexy to me!”

They embraced each other’s sweat soaked bodies with abandon, and as their tongues swirled around with each other, they were totally lost in the blissful closeness. When they both came back to earth, Matt sighed,

“Tonight’s going to be great.”

“Yeah.” Was the only comment Jon could manage.

“Come on in for a minute,” Matt insisted. “I want you to be there when I show this to mom.” He said as he picked up the all but forgotten test and headed for the door that led to the house.

When they reached the kitchen, Ann Barker was putting away groceries. She closed the refrigerator door and greeted the boys.

“So, how was your last official day of classes?” She asked.

“See for yourself!” Matt said as he thrust the test before her eyes.

“Oh Matt, you did it!” She noticed the look of pride on Jon’s face as he gazed at Matt. “The two of you actually pulled it off.” She stood there for a moment and finally commented, “I’d hug you both, but frankly it smells like a locker room in here. Did you guys run home?”

“Yup!” Said Jon, proudly. “Now that the test is over with, Matt’s going to boss ME around for awhile.”

“Well, I’m very proud of both of you. Consider yourselves hugged!” She laughed as she offered the boys a soda.

When they finished their drinks, Jon said he had to get going.

“See you at 7:00.” He said to Matt as he headed for the kitchen door.

“I just need to get cleaned up, and I want to show the test to dad. I can come earlier, if it’s okay.” Matt said hopefully.

“No,” Jon quickly answered. “I’ve got some things I have to do. Let’s keep it 7:00, okay?”

Matt forced a smile. He was determined not be one of those clingy boyfriends. “Okay, 7:00 it is.”

After Jon left, Ann suggested, since he was already hot and sweaty, that he mow the lawn before jumping in the shower. He figured it would kill some time, so he graciously agreed. As he made his way back and forth, cutting swaths in the grass, he couldn’t help wondering what Jon had to do that was more important than hanging out with his boyfriend on the last day of school.

“Maybe I’m getting myself worked up over nothing.” He thought, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that Jon wasn’t telling him something. He knew he’d be spending the whole night with him, but he still had the feeling that he’d been brushed off, somehow. Usually Jon would have said what he had to do, but this time he was vague. He was also disappointed because he’d hoped to spend some time with Jon before his family came home. It was almost as though Jon didn’t want him.

“I’m being ridiculous.” Matt thought to himself, but his heart wasn’t in it.

The shower felt good, as he cleansed his body and soothed his mind. He dressed, and put some stuff together in his overnight bag for later. As he came down the stairs, his dad was just pulling up in the driveway. He ran to the kitchen door to meet him, test in hand.

“Dad, check it out!” He said, thrusting the paper in his face.

“Wow!” Bill exclaimed, and picked Matt up in an embrace and swung him around the kitchen. “You did it! Matt, you did it!”

As Bill put him down, Ann grabbed him from behind. “Now I can safely get my hug!” She said as she gave him a good squeeze and a kiss on the cheek.

They all sat down at the kitchen table with a drink of one kind or another. Bill looked over the test, paying special attention to the essays.

Bill remarked, “It’s good she didn’t grade you on handwriting!”

“Hey, I was in a hurry.”

His parents were genuinely impressed with his insights and told him so. Matt was really enjoying the feeling of making them proud for a change. At least academically. It was a new experience for him. In the past, when talk of school work brought them to the kitchen table, no one was in a very good mood.

Matt glanced at the clock on the stove every now and then, willing the hands to move faster, and finally at 6:50, he picked up his bag, and saying goodnight to his parents, he took off for Jon’s.

When he arrived, the first thing he noticed was a lack of cars in the driveway. He walked around the house and tapped at the kitchen door for the second time that day. When Jon let him in, he was wearing an apron and went right over to check something in the oven. Whatever it was smelled wonderful.

“You’re cooking tonight?” Matt asked.

“Yeah,” Jon replied. "I hope you like it.”

“Where is everyone?” Matt inquired. “I didn’t see any cars in the driveway.”

“Well, my parents are at a wedding in the city, and they’re spending the night, and Sam, let me see, I think he said he was going on a double date and spending the night at Gary’s, so that leaves, now let me think…you, and me!” He said, beaming at Matt.

“You mean we’re alone? For the whole night?”

“Yup, just the two of us!”

Matt closed the distance between the two and planted a deep kiss on Jon’s lips. When they separated, Jon asked Matt to bring him the salt shaker from the dining room table, because he’d run out in the kitchen. When Matt opened the door to the dining room, his eyes went wide. The room was bathed in soft candle light that glinted off of the fine china and good silver. Crystal goblets sparkled next to a bottle of champagne resting in a bucket of ice. There was soft classical music playing on the stereo wafting in from the living room. A vase was set in the middle of the table with the most beautiful red roses that Matt had ever seen. Matt turned around to find Jon standing behind him saying softly,

“Happy anniversary, Matt.”

Tears welled up in Matt’s eyes as he turned away from Jon and slumped against the wall and sobbed.

“Matt, don’t you like it?” Jon asked in a worried voice.

“Jon, it’s beautiful, it’s just that…that I’m such a jerk.” He began to sob uncontrollably. “When you said you didn’t want me to come over early, I thought you were blowing me off. I thought maybe you didn’t feel like being alone with me before everyone got home, and meanwhile, you were here doing…doing all of this. I feel so stupid, so childish…”

Jon turned him around and took him in his arms, folding his head against his chest and stroking his hair.

“There now, calm down baby. It’s okay. I wanted to surprise you, but when I saw your face when I told you not to come it almost broke my heart. It’s not your fault.”

When Matt’s sobbing abated, Jon lifted his chin and looked in his eyes. “I’m so lucky to have a guy who can’t wait to see me.” He kissed gently at Matt’s drying tears.

Matt smiled at him, “I don’t know what I ever did to deserve you. I guess someone up there really loves me.”

“Us.” Jon corrected him.

When Matt returned from washing his face, Jon was taking a pyrex casserole out of the oven. He set it on the counter and smiled at Matt.

“Wow!” Matt exclaimed. “It looks great. What is it?”

“Chicken Cacciatore.” Jon replied. “Old family recipe.”

Matt giggled, “Oh? And what part of Italy are the Kents from?” he said poking Jon playfully in the ribs.

“Actually, mom’s mother is Sicilian if you must know.” Jon said with his arms on his hips.

Matt took a deep breath, inhaling the aroma of Jon’s creation with a new appreciation. He understood that Jon was sharing something very special with him. It wasn’t just food, it was a part of his heritage.

“Matt, look.” Jon said, pointing to a needlework sign hanging by the refrigerator, bearing the words: “Kiss the Cook.” Matt began smothering Jon’s face with tiny little kisses until Jon finally stopped him.

“Okay, enough! The food will get cold.”

The boys adjourned to the dining room. Jon pulled out a chair for Matt and slid it under him as he sat. He walked around the table and began rolling the bottle in the ice bucket.

“Where did you get your hands on champagne? Does Sam have a fake I.D.?”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he did,” Jon smirked, “But zees, monsieur, is zee finest non-alchohoique sparkling cider!” Jon fluted in the hokiest cartoon French accent that Matt had ever heard.

Matt laughed. “It’s just as well, I wouldn’t want to fall asleep on you again!”

“We’re definitely having coffee with dessert.” Jon dead panned, causing Matt to hang his head in mock shame amid a fit of giggles.

Jon presented Matt with a glass, and raised his in a toast.

“On the occasion of our one week anniversary, I don’t know how my life could be any better…here, tonight…with you.”

A stray tear escaped from Matt’s eye and ran down his cheek, splashing on the edge of his plate. Wordlessly, Jon reached out a finger to the little puddle and pressed it to his lips.

They softly clinked glasses and took a sip of the sweet tasting cider

On top of each dinner plate was a salad plate with an arrangement of field greens, thin slices of red onion, mandarin orange sections and almond slivers, lightly drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette. As the boys ate their salad, they stole glances each other. Neither one knew why they felt a little shy, like they were on a first date or something. It was sort of titillating in a way, to kind of catch up on the courting ritual that they had somehow bypassed in their whirlwind romance.

When they’d finished their salad, Jon took the plates and headed for the kitchen.

“Can I help you?” Matt asked.

“No,” Jon replied, “I’m going to pamper you tonight. If you want to spoil me on our second week anniversary, I won’t stand in your way.”

Matt laughed, “If we celebrate every week, we’re both going to gain weight.”

“Actually, this is a pretty healthy meal.” Jon said as he set the salad plates down on the sideboard and retrieved a small calorie counter book from his pocket.

He showed Matt some notes scribbled on the inside cover. “If I go easy on the pasta, the whole thing is less than 600 calories, which isn’t too bad if you’re celebrating something special, and I have fresh fruit for dessert. It sure beats pizza and coke.”

Matt stood up and put his arms around Jon’s neck. “You’re amazing.” He whispered in Jon’s ear.

After dinner, they lingered at the table savoring the dregs of the sparkling cider. Jon suggested they move in to the living room. He went over to the stereo and pressed a button. The CD changed to Hoagie Carmichael’s “Stardust.” Jon held out his hand.

“May I have this dance?”

Matt pressed his body against Jon’s and the two swayed back and forth to the music. When the song finished, Jon went over to the coffee table and picked up a gift bag and handed it to Matt.

“Happy anniversary.” He said smiling at his boyfriend.

“Jon! You shouldn’t have gotten me anything. I didn’t get anything for you.” Matt protested.

“Well, actually, this is for both of us.” Jon replied with a twinkle.

Intrigued, Matt pulled the bow off of the handles and pushed the tissue paper aside. When he saw what was inside, he laughed and looked back up to find Jon wiggling his eyebrows with a lascivious grin on his face.

Matt withdrew the tube of personal lubricant and, discarding the bag, took Jon by the hand and led him to his bedroom. Once inside, Jon closed and locked the door. Even though they were alone in the house, he felt it was symbolic of closing out the rest of the world.

They slowly began to undress each other. When they were finally naked, they took in each other’s bodies as though seeing them for the first time.

“God, you’re beautiful.” Jon whispered as he let his hands roam all over Matt’s chest and thighs.

They moved to the bed and lay down in an embrace. Matt slowly stroked Jon’s cock to its full hardness as he planted loving kisses on his neck. Jon felt so loved, so cherished. It was almost too much for him to comprehend. He kissed the top of Matt’s head as he cupped his balls in his hand, squeezing them gently. Matt let out a moan as he found Jon’s lips with his own and engaged in a long, passionate kiss. Both boys loved the feeling of their bodies pressing together. It was almost as though they were trying to climb in to each other’s skin.

Matt’s hand moved to Jon’s ass and began making lazy circular motions on his buttocks. He let his fingers trail up and down Jon’s crack. Jon took the hint. He broke the embrace and rolled over on his stomach and spread his legs apart. Matt whispered,

“Are you sure?”

“Oh yes.” Jon sighed.

Matt kissed the back of his neck and let his tongue glide down his spine. When he reached its base, he spread Jon’s cheeks apart.

“I’ve been doing some reading of my own.” He said, as he lowered his mouth to Jon’s cleft. He wasn’t sure how far he could go with this, but he had to try it. He let his tongue trail down Jon’s crack until it found its mark. Jon Pressed back as Matt gently licked his hole. Jon was clean, and Matt was surprised that he actually liked the subtle taste. He got a little bolder and pressed his tongue against Jon’s entrance and wiggled it around, causing Jon to whimper and wiggle his butt into Matt’s face. Matt was totally turned on by Jon’s reaction and before he knew it, he had his lips sealed around Jon’s hole and was kissing deeply. When he came up for air, he moved up to Jon.

“Just kissing the cook.” He whispered.

A throaty gurgle escaped from Jon as Matt retrieved the lube from the nightstand. He squeezed a generous portion onto Jon’s waiting ass and began working it in. He lubed his index finger, and gently penetrated Jon’s hole. He went slow, and eventually found his prostate. As he massaged it, Jon was moaning in pleasure, pressing back against Matt’s hand.

Gradually, Matt worked in a second finger. Jon drew his breath in sharply, causing Matt to freeze.

“Go on,” Jon relaxed. “It hurts a little, but I really want this.”

Matt continued his ministrations until he had three fingers in Jon’s stretched tunnel. Jon no longer seemed to be fighting him, so he felt he was ready. He withdrew his fingers and added more lube to Jon’s ass, and lubed up his dick. Placing the head at Jon’s entrance, he slowly pressed forward.

Jon grunted as the head popped past the ring. Matt waited patiently while rubbing Jon’s back. He moved in a little more, then a little more until his pubes were brushing against Jon’s butt.

“Just…stay like that for a minute…don’t move.” Jon moaned hoarsely.

“Are you okay?” Matt asked, a little worried that he’d hurt him.

“Yeah…just wait a minute.”

Matt did as he was told. He looked down between them and marveled at the fact that he was actually all the way in. Jon’s warm canal felt great hugging his dick, the muscles gently contracting around it. Finally, Jon whispered,

“Okay, go slow.”

Matt pulled out and slowly sank back in several times, getting used to the motion. Jon began to moan louder and louder.

“Are you okay?” Matt asked again.

“Oh God! Fuck me, Matt, fuck me!”

Matt needed no further encouragement. He let his upper body rest against Jon’s back and began to hump his cock in and out of his ass. The pain Jon had felt earlier was replaced with ecstasy as he met Matt thrust for thrust. He felt an incredible warmth spread from deep inside his body to the very tip of his cock. Jon bucked back against Matt, causing him to fuck him harder and faster while mindlessly biting at his neck.

Jon’s body went rigid as he impaled himself deeply on Matt’s cock. He shuddered as jet after jet of hot sticky fluid erupted into the sheets. As his ass muscles clamped down around the shaft of Matt’s cock, Matt drove himself as deeply into Jon’s ass as humanly possible and filled him with his juice.

Matt made a noise that sounded something like “uuuuhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnngggahhhh!” as he collapsed against Jon’s back and breathed heavily against his neck.

Matt began to soften, and pulled out of Jon. Jon rolled over on his back and let out a blissful sigh. He didn’t care that he lay in a puddle of his own semen, as he felt Matt’s offering trickle out of him. Matt collapsed next to Jon with his head on his chest, and the two just lay there for awhile, catching their breath.

Matt could hear Jon’s heart beating in his chest. He planted a soft kiss on his abdomen, and slowly raised up to Jon’s waiting mouth and they shared a deep kiss that lasted for about 5 minutes. They reluctantly got out of bed and cleaned up the mess, then they shared a long, hot shower, carefully washing each other with tenderness. Little was said as they dried off and returned to bed.

Jon snuggled into Matt saying, “I’ll do the dishes in the morning.”

Both boys drifted off to sleep knowing that in this place and in this time all was well.

All comments are appreciated, and all flames are cheerfully ignored.

Ok, ok, I can hear the groans from here. Some of you are probably wondering why Matt didn't say "Goodnight Jon Boy." I'm just an incurable romantic, I guess. Thanks to all of you that wrote. It means a lot to me. Those of you who didn't, well, I hope you're enjoying the story.

All best, Jonathan
