Mark and I were finally going to get some time to ourselves and at the same time we will be surrounded by our family. It was decided that we would take my van with Mark, Ken, Jeff, the twins, and me. Mom, Dad, Sam, Norma, and Sally are going to drive up in Dad's car. It's about a 3-hour drive up north. We spent the morning packing and getting ready. We went and picked up Ken and we put everything in the van. Dad came home at 3 o'clock and then Sam and his family showed up. We packed all their stuff in my van and soon we left. It was quite crowded in the van with the six of us and everybody's stuff. The weather was fine and we made good time. Jeff, Ken, and the twins did most of the talking on the way up. A three-hour ride for a 10-year-old is a long ride. The twins were really upset because they had to share a room with their parents and Ken and Jeff got their own room. "Why's it that we can't have our own room?" James said. "Mark and Mike get their own room and Jeff and Ken get their own room." "What did your dad say when you asked him, James?" I said. "He said that you and Mark are old enough to take care of yourselves and that Ken is old enough to take care of Jeff. He said it's against the law to have two 10-year-olds in a motel room together." "And then what did you say, James?" "He didn't say anything," said John. "I asked him why we could not all sleep with Ken and Jeff." "And what was his response, John?" "He said they only had a single and if we kept buggin' him, we'd stay home with grandma and grandpa." "I'm surprised you didn't ask to sleep with us." "I was going to but I didn't want to stay with grandma and grandpa." The twins, Ken, and Jeff kept jabbering on while Mark and I listened. We drove straight through except for one rest stop. We got to the resort and checked in. After we got all our stuff in our rooms, we went to dinner. We wanted to have some time to ourselves so we ate at our own table. "Do they have a weight room here?" "Yep, they do. Do you want to work out tonight?" "I'd like to, it will help me go to sleep." "I'll give you a workout that will help you go to sleep." "Are you going to give me a massage, Mike, like I gave you a few days ago?" "That sounds like a plan. After dinner we should go and find you some skiing equipment. We shouldn't have any problem finding what you need tonight. Tomorrow is another story. With the holiday and the fact that tomorrow is a Saturday, we might have a hard time finding equipment tomorrow." "Then can we go work out?" "Sure, and they have a hot tub to relax in after we work out." "But I didn't pack my swim suit." "I packed it for you." "Thanks, Mike, what would I do without you?" "What would I do without you, Mark? I can't imagine my life without you in it. For the next five days we're going to have fun. No police reports. No long talks in my dad's study. No school, no homework, no looking over our shoulders." "I hope you're right. But I'm still not going to let down my guard." "I hope you'll let down your guard tonight." "Tonight's a night that I don't ever want to forget. I guess I'm kind of nervous. That's one of the reasons I want to work out. Working out always relieves my stress. It also takes my mind off things. I just want tonight to be special." "Just go with the flow, Mark. You don't need to do anything if you don't want to." "But I do want to. I'm just afraid that I won't be good enough." "It's really easy, Mark. Just do what I do. If something I do for you feels good, just do the same for me. I know we have read about lots of things that we can do and I've tried some of them, but don't do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable." After dinner we went and rented Mark's equipment and we also rented cross-country skiing equipment. We stored our gear and went back to our room and changed into our sweats, with swimsuits underneath. We worked out for about an hour and then we spent about 30 minutes in the hot tub. We dried off, put our sweats back on, and went to our room. Mark locked the door and put the 'Do not disturb' sign on the outside handle. Mark told me to sit down. He took off my shoes and socks. Then he took off my sweatshirt. He slowly undid the drawstring on my sweatpants and I stood up and they fell to my ankles. I was hard as a rock and my boxer swimsuit was tented. I then had Mark sit down and I did the same for him. We then went into the bathroom and we removed each other's swimsuits. Mark kissed me tenderly and then we stepped into the shower. We carefully and completely washed each other. After we dried each other off, we went to bed. I then gave him the best massage I could. I'm not going to give you a 'blow by blow' description of what we did. Let's just say that I taught Mark everything I knew about oral sex and he was a good learner. We brought each other close to the edge a number of times, only to back off and build back up again. I taught him anal-oral sex and we did that when we got too excited. We put off the main event as long as we both could stand it. We made love for a good two hours before we finally exploded. Our lovemaking had moved on to the next level. It was very special. Something we'd never forget. I called room service and asked for a 7:00 AM wake-up call. I wanted to get an early start. I cuddled up into Mark's arms and fell asleep. The next thing I knew the phone was ringing. Mark picked it up. It was our wake-up call. We got up and dressed. Then we went down to breakfast. We were the first ones from our group there. After a few minutes Jeff and Ken showed up. "Can we join you guys?" "Sure," I said. "So, what's up?" "Not me yet," Ken said. "Jeff dragged me out of bed this morning. He said that he was ready to go skiing. I wanted to sleep a few more hours." "I hope he didn't keep you awake all night." "Actually he fell asleep watching TV and I had to put him to bed. How did you guys sleep last night?" Ken asked with a grin on his face." "They're probable all sore from doing it too much," Jeff exclaimed. "Jeff, that was uncalled for. Unless you want to have a long talk with Papa Greg, you better not ever say anything like that again," Mark said sternly. "I'm sorry, Mark, I won't say nothin' again." "He knows about you two?" Ken asked. "That's right and he's not supposed to tell anyone. I'm going to give you one more chance, Jeff. It's a good thing that you slipped in front of Ken and not the twins. If you had said something like that to them, the whole town would be talking." "I won't let it happen again. I promise. Don't be mad at me." "I'm not mad at you but I am disappointed. I thought I could trust you. Please, Jeff, don't let it happen again. You could be putting me in danger. Okay?" "Okay, Mark, I'll be good." We were all pretty quiet for the rest of breakfast. Mark and I went back to our room and got ready to go skiing. "Do you think I was too hard on him?" Mark asked. "I don't think so. You made your point. I hope he stops and thinks before he talks about us again." "I hope so too. Lord only knows that we have had enough trouble already." We got ready and went outside. It was snowing quite hard. They get a great deal more snow here than they do where we live. Lake Michigan is on one side and Lake Huron is on the other. No matter what direction the wind is blowing, they get lake effect snows until the Lakes freeze. There is about 4 feet of snow with an additional 6 inches of fresh powder. We had goggles to keep the snow out of our eyes. Jeff and Ken came out and asked if they could join us. We said okay. We went to the intermediate slope and got on the chair lift. The chair lift is almost as much fun as skiing after managing with the tow rope back home. Our first run down the hill was great. There weren't too many people yet and the fresh powder was great. We went again and again. Mark, Jeff, and Ken all fell a few times but they had learned to do it without getting hurt. We went inside to get warm and Jeff ran into the twins. He went running off with them. After we were warmed up, Mark and Ken wanted to try the advanced hill. I laughed to myself. Michigan is not known for mountains but there are some pretty high hills. The advanced hill has about an 800- to 1000-foot drop and it's steep. The intermediate run is not nearly as steep and it curves around so you can't see the drop so much. The advanced hill is straight down and you can see for miles. If you are scared of heights, it's the last place you want to be on skis. We got on the chair lift and went to the top of the mountain. When we got off and stood at the top, I could see fear in both Mark's and Ken's eyes. By now the hill was quite crowded. "How do we get down?" Ken asked. "Yea, how do we get down?" Mark asked. "There are three ways, really. You can go straight down the hill and end up going about 50 MPH before you get to the bottom. Or you can turn about every few feet to keep from going too fast. Or you can take off your skis and walk down the hill." Mark unbuckled his skis and went over to the side of the slope and started walking. Jeff unbuckled his skis also and I joined them. It's not easy walking in ski boots on level dry ground. On a steep hill in deep snow, carrying skis was difficult. The deep snow did help us from falling down the hill. We got about halfway down and the guys decided to try to ski down the rest of the way. We snapped our skis back on and proceeded. Mark managed to do pretty good turning and keeping control. Ken didn't do very well. He ended up going straight down the rest of the hill and got going pretty fast. He finally wiped out at the bottom. He got up and looked okay. When we all got to the bottom, Mark and Ken both wanted to go inside for a while. We went inside and had lunch. Mark or Ken could not believe how high and steep the mountain was until we got on top. They didn't want to go on that run again. The twins and Jeff came in while we were eating and joined us. Ken went off with them and we decided to try some cross-country skiing. After about ten minutes Mark was hooked. We were all alone on a trail in the woods. It really is peaceful. It is also a great workout. We must have gone about 10 miles before we turned around and came back. It was still snowing and we had got about another 6 inches during the day. By the time we got back it was getting dark. When we got back we joined our parents for dinner. I couldn't believe how good the food was. They had this all-you-could-eat buffet. I also couldn't believe how much Mark and Jeff could eat. Mark I could understand but Jeff was a surprise. He ate twice as much as I did. Dad asked why Jeff was being so quiet and we just said that he needed to think before he talks. I asked Mom and Dad where they had been all day. They had gone cross-country skiing in the morning and downhill skiing all afternoon. They are quite good and I'm sure they were on the advanced hill. I keep trying to talk them into going skiing in Colorado sometime. After dinner we all went out downhill skiing again. They have lights set up and you can ski until 10:00 PM. It was snowing even harder and it made it quite hard to see. We all stayed on the intermediate hill. After about an hour and several wipeouts we all headed back in. "What do you want to do now, Mark?" "Hot tub." We got changed and went in the hot tub. There were several girls there in swimsuits hitting on Mark and then one hit on me. Her name was Clare and she seemed real nice. She was my age and came with her parents. She was a nice girl and easy to talk to but I would rather spend my time with Mark. She said that she was going home on Monday. She also told me that she lived in Ohio. I said good-bye to her, and Mark and I left. "That girl seemed like she has the hots for you, Mike." "I think you're right. Now I kind of know how you feel. I really wasn't interested in her except to talk to." "That is all I ever do. If they start really giving me a hard time I just tell them I'm in love with someone else. If that doesn't work I tell then to leave me alone. I hate to break their heart like that but it's better than leading them on." We got back to our room and changed clothes. "Mark, do you ever get the feeling that something is going to happen and everything is going to fall apart?" "I feel that way all the time. Some might call it 'insecure thinking' but that's how I feel. Remember the story I told you about how I broke down in front of Sam and your dad? I still feel that way. I know that there are some things that I can't change that I need to accept, like my dad dying, but it's still difficult for me. If something happened to you, Mike, I'm afraid that I would go back in my shell. Now that scares me." "I can't go back to being the person I was before if something happened to you, Mark. To tell you the truth I'm not sure what I'd do if something happened to you. I guess that life would go on but my world would not be the same without you in it. I love you, Mark, with all my heart." Mark and I don't say 'I love you' to each other all the time. And when we do say it we really mean it. A tear gathered in Mark's eye and dripped down his cheek. He pulled me in his arms and kissed me. This started our love making for the night. We had already been here one day and yet we had quite a day. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
