Date: Thu, 29 Nov 2001 04:04:55 +0000 From: Jessica Haynes Subject: My Only Love 13 My Only Love Part 13 Author's notes: Hiya y'all. Sorry it's been so damn long since the last chapter. I had some crazy family problems come up these last couple of weeks, and haven't found the time to write. This chapter isn't very long, but I thought I'd send whatever I had, so you wouldn't think that I am abandoning you. The next chapter most likely won't be out until Christmas, as it just dawned on me that I have finals in a little over two weeks, and as I really want to stay in college, I need to study my ass off. But this doesn't mean I don't want to hear from my readers! Don't forget to drop me a note, about this story, you lives, anything. I love to talk and to give advice (not that I'm Dear Abby or anything! Wink, wink!). My e-mail address is gibsongirl101@hotmail.com, so send a note! Anyway, on to the next chapter in the lives of Chris, Eric and their extended family. Hope you enjoy it! ************************************************************************ It had been so easy to get rid of the vermin. I was still chuckling over how amazingly easy it had been. I just had to walk into Jefferson's household, get a hold of his gun, and shoot him dead. Anyone who preyed on little boys like Davy deserved to die, and the fact that Davy was so important to my Chris just made it all the easier to kill the fucker. I would never forget the look in Jefferson's eyes the moment before he shot him. It was the same look as a deer caught in the headlights of an on-coming car. It had been so pleasing to him that I had almost passed out from the joyous feeling of power. That had never happened to me right after a kill before. Before Jefferson, I had committed my acts of murder with a cold mind, and one goal: to get Chris. I sat down near the spot where I had killed before, the place where I had committed my first act of murder. Brandon had been the first person I killed. Always so perfect, and loved. He always thought that he was better than me, than everyone. But the thing that I hated most about him was all the time he spent with Chris. I was the one who loved Chris best, the one who had always loved Chris best. But BRANDON had gotten all the attention. I was glad he was dead. I didn't miss him at all! The years had only strengthened my feeling that Chris and I were made for each other. And no matter how many people I had to get rid of to prove my love to him, someday (someday soon) he and I would be together. If only that whore Eric was out of the way. I would have to take this to the next level soon. ************************************************************************ Davy It was dark when I woke up. I could see the outline of someone sitting in a chair by the bed, and for a couple seconds, I thought it was my foster father. I felt like screaming, but then the body moved and I could see that it was not Mr. Jefferson. It was a doctor. I wonder where Chris is. "Hi, Davy. How are you feeling?" the doctor asked kindly. "I'm really sore. And my head hurts." I told him. "Well, that's all to be expected. You had a really rough time yesterday." The doctor said. "But you are going to be perfectly fine in a few weeks." "What's your name?" I asked. "Oh, I'm sorry, Davy. How rude of me. I am Doctor Klein. But you can call me Doctor Jake if you want. I'm the doctor who patched you up, and I'll be keeping an eye on you." He said, smiling at me. I decided that I liked the doctor. He had nice eyes. "Doctor Jake, is my foster father out there?" I asked, and even I could hear how scared I sounded. "No, Davy. Mr. Jefferson is not out there. But someone is, who I know would love to see you, and I think that you would love to see him too." "Who?" I asked, hoping that it was Chris. Chris was my Little League coach, and I loved him. I wish he were my older brother. Maybe even my dad. "Your coach, Chris. He's been here since you were admitted. Actually, he was the one who called the ambulance and brought you here. He's been really worried about you." Doctor Jake said. "Really?" I asked, glad that someone cared enough to worry about me. No one had ever cared about me before. Well, maybe my real mom, but she died when I was just a baby and I've been in foster homes ever since. I never knew my dad. "Really. And there are a lot of other people waiting with Chris to see how you are. You have a lot of people who care about you, Davy." The doctor paused a moment, and then said, "Do you want me to send Chris in?" "Oh, yes, please!" I said. I was so happy that Chris was there. Maybe he really cared about me as more than just another kid on his baseball team. I tried to sit up in bed, so that I could talk to Chris better, but it hurt too much to do more than raise my head off the pillow. I smiled at Chris when he came in, and sort of hoped for a hug. "Hiya bud! How are you feeling?" Chris asked, standing by the bed. I tried not to feel to bad that he didn't give me a hug, but I was really disappointed. "I'm ok, I guess." I looked at Chris and felt a little better at the gentle look in his eyes. "I would give you a hug, bud, but the doctor said it would be too painful on your ribs." Chris said. "Oh. What happened anyway, the only thing I remember is hurting lots." I told him. "Well, I don't know exactly what happened, only that you called me, hysterical and needed me to come get you. I found you unconscious and called the ambulance. You've been here over night." "What's wrong with me?" I asked. "You have a couple broken ribs and a concussion." Chris explained. I knew what broken ribs meant. I had had one before, when Mr. Jefferson got mad that my bed wasn't made right. He had hit me really hard in the stomach, and that's what the doctor told me was wrong. Mrs. Jefferson had told the doctor that I had fallen off my bike, but I never thought that he believed her. But I'd never heard of a concussion before. "What's a concussion? I've never had one before." "Well, sometimes when you hit your head really hard, than something happens in your brain that makes it dangerous for you to be unsupervised." Chris said. I still understand what exactly a concussion was, but I decided not to worry about it. "Um, Chris. Where are my foster parents?" I was hoping that they had given me back to the state, as they had threatened lots of times before. I was only with the Jeffersons for 7 months, but sometimes it felt like forever. The other foster homes I had lived in since my parents died 4 years ago, had been lonely, but nothing like living with the Jeffersons. Chris looked sad for a moment, then pulled over a chair and sat down next to the bed. "Davy, there is no easy way for me to tell you this. The police were here earlier, and they had some bad news." "What was it? Do I have to go back to them?" I asked, panicking. "I don't want to Chris! Please don't make me go back to them!" "Davy, don't' panic. You don't have to go back to the Jefferson's. In fact, that is the bad news that the police had. You see, in the 15 minutes it took me to get to your house, someone came in and killed Mr. Jefferson." Chris said, looking serious. "Someone killed Mr. Jefferson?" I asked. "I don't understand." "I don't either. But the police think that someone shot your foster father, but left when he heard my car in the driveway." "What does this mean?" I asked. I felt a little guilty that I wasn't sad that Mr. Jefferson was dead, but he had been really mean to me. "Well, it means that you don't have to be afraid of Jefferson anymore." "But what is going to happen to me? Am I going to have to go to another foster home?" I really didn't want to go to another foster home. I really wanted a real family. Maybe even with Chris as my big brother. "Well, I was talking to my parents, do you remember them? They were at the final game last season." I did remember his parents. They had been very nice, exactly the kind of parents I had always wanted. "Yes. What were you talking to them about, Chris?" "Well, my parents always wanted another child, but my mother was never able to have more children." "What does that have to do with me?" I asked, hoping it meant what I hoped it meant. "Davy, how would you like to come live with me and my parents?" Chris asked, smiling at me. "Oh, Chirs, that would be the best thing that ever happened to me!" I said, filled with joy, but not sure this was for real. "Are you sure your parents want me? Wouldn't they rather have a baby?" I asked. "No. You are exactly who we want to have in our family, Davy! Don't ever doubt that, ok?" Chris said fiercely. "Ok. I believe you. When do I get to come to your house?" I asked, hoping that it was tomorrow, maybe even today. "Not for a few days. The doctors want to keep you here for a few days, just to make sure nothing else goes wrong. But as soon as they, and the courts, say that it is ok, than you will come home with us." Chris said, as the Doctor Jake came into the room. "Ok, Davy. It is time for you to get some rest. And Chris needs to go home and sleep too. He's been here all night. He can come back tomorrow to visit you. But now, you need to sleep, ok?" Now that Doctor Jake mentioned it, I was feeling really sleepy, but excited too. "Ok. I love you Chris!" "I love you too, bud. Sleep well. I'll be here later this evening, we'll have supper together, ok?" Chris said. "OK. Can your parents come too? I would like to see them again, and tell them how much I appreciate what they want to do." "I'm sure that they would love to come have supper with you. We'll be here at 5:30, if the doctor says that it is ok." "I think that would be fine Chris. It will give me a chance to talk to you mother and father and get them up to date on what Davy will need once he gets home." Docotr Jake said. "All right, Doctor Jake. I will make sure that they come." Chris stood up from the chair, only to bend over and place a light kiss on my forehead. It had been so long since anyone had kissed me, and it felt really good. After Chris left, the doctor had me take a few pills, and soon I felt sleep take over my body. ************************************************************************ Chris I left Davy sleeping soundly and went back to my house, Eric, Kyle, Mac and Zack in tow. Robby had called from his cell phone to see how everything was, and when we told him that things were fine, he said he would see us later and to give Davy a hug for him. When we got to my house, Kyle, Mac and Zack stayed for a little while, then left, claiming exhaustion. I didn't blame them. I was pretty tired myself. I looked at Eric, and as if he had read my mind, he said, "What say you we go up to your room and get some sleep?" "I say that sounds wonderful. It's been a really tiring couple of days. Will you sleep with me?" I really needed Eric near me. "Of course baby. I always sleep better when you are near me." Eric said. "So do I." We went up to my room, and after closing and locking the door, stripped down to our boxers, and climbed into bed. I spooned against Eric's back and drew him close to me. He turned in my arms, and wound his own around me. "I love you so much, baby. I would not be complete without you." Eric said looking into my eyes. "I love you too. I thank my lucky stars every day for the first time you kissed me. If you hadn't, I don't think I would have ever come to terms with loving you. And I do, love you that it. I love you so much that sometimes it hurts. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you." "Chris, you will never loose me. I will be with you forever." Eric said, placing butterful kisses all over my face. "Now, get some sleep. You owe me a steamy sex session when you are rested. We were interrupted before." I smiled sexily and kissed him deeply. Then I turned my back to him and drew his arm around my waist. Then, snuggled together as if we were one person, I slept. ************************************************************************ I was at the river again. Brandon and I were fishing. Kyle was sick, so he couldn't be there, but I enjoyed just being with Brandon. "Bran, do you think we'll still be friends when we are grown ups?" I asked. "Yes, silly. We are blood brothers. We will always be together, you and me and Kyle." "I hope so." I said, concentrating on my fishing. "Maybe you'll even marry my sister, that way we'd be even more like REAL brothers." "Marry Caitlyn? But she's a girl. I hate girls!" I sneered. "I know. But Caitlyn loves you. She was really mad that we wouldn't let her come with us today." "But she's a girl. Girl's don't fish." I said, laughing at the thought of little Caitlyn fishing with us big boys. "Yeah, but Caitlyn likes to think that she is a boy, just like us. She hates dolls, and all that kind of girlie stuff. Sometimes I think that she is my brother, not my sister." "Ok. If you say so. But I don't think I'd ever marry Caitlyn. She's not my type." I had heard some teenager on TV say that, so I knew what I was talking about. "Hey, you want some ice cream? My mom has some homemade coffee ice cream we made for the 4th of July. You want to come over?" "Sure. I love coffee ice cream." "Let's go then!" I cried. "Last one there's a rotten egg!" I laughed wildly as I raced off, leaving Brandon in the dust. "Yeah, but the first one has to eat it!" Brandon called, racing after me. ************************************************************************ I awoke with a start. I had almost forgotten that day at the river with just Brandon and me. We had only been 8 years old, and everything was simple. I wish things were so simple these days. But, they weren't. Nothing was going to be simple again. Not with a killer on the loose. "Hey, baby, what's wrong?" Eric asked groggily. "Nothing. Just a dream." "Do you want to talk about it?" Eric asked. "No, it was just a memory. It was a good dream, but I think it's made me a little bit melancholic." "Well, let's see if I can remedy that." Eric said, smirking a little. His hands wandered down from my waist, and slid the boxers off of my hips. I rolled to my back, letting him have his way with me. Eric climbed on top of me, and leaned down to kiss me. I opened my mouth willingly to admit his tongue. As his tongue dueled with mine, his hands were working their magic on my penis. Soon I was rock hard and thrusting in his hand. I felt the hard tip of his cock on my balls, and wanted more than anything, for him to be in me. But it wasn't the right time for that. Not yet. But soon. "Eric, I love you!" I said, humping my hips into his hand. Eric tore his mouth away from mine and trailed kisses down my chest. He paused at my navel and ran his tongue around it, and then moved his lips over the tip of my cock. He slowly licked it up and down, and then finally took it in his mouth. I moaned in pleasure and fisted my hands in his hair. I thrust in and out of his mouth, as Eric bobbed up and down. Suddenly I felt my balls rise up close to my body and I was filling Eric's mouth with evidence of my love. Eric pulled off my softening cock, and looked up at me, love shining in his eyes. "Come up here, you sexy stud!" Eric slid up my body and we kissed deeply. I thought that I could kiss him forever. I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life kissing Eric. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 4:25. I had just enough time to shower and dress, before I had to leave for the hospital. I reluctantly tore myself away from Eric, and said sadly, "I wish I had time to show you how much I enjoyed that, but I don't. I promised Davy that my parents and I would have supper with him." "Honey, don't worry about it. I should go home anyway. I'm sure that my family wonders whether Bohemian Monks or something abducted me. I'll call you later, and see what happened with Davy." Eric got up from the bed, and I noticed a large wet stain on his boxers. "I really wish I had time to take care of that." I said, as I rose from the bed also. "Honey, don't worry about it. He's had enough practice in the last year. I'll talk to you later. Go take your shower." Eric shooed me into the bathroom and shut the door on me. "I'll call you, when I get done at the hospital, but if it is really late, I'll see you tomorrow when I pick you up for school." I called through the door. "Sounds good to me. Tell Davy I said hi, and give him a kiss for me. Bye hon!" Eric called. I heard him open the door and shouted my love and my good-byes to him. Then I climbed into the hot shower, and closed me eyes. When I stepped out, I wrapped a towel around my waist and went back into my room. On the bed was a letter, with a white rose lying on top of it. I knew it couldn't be from Eric, he had just left, so who was it from?
