Not that bad

CHAPTER 5



"I'm so sorry, so sorry.  I'll never leave you again kid."  My eyes flew
open and I saw Matt sitting next to the hospital bed with tears streaming
down his cheeks.  He looked tired with bags under his eyes and he hadn't
shaved.

"Matt?" I croaked.  He gave me some water and that seemed to make talking
easier.

"I love you.  I didn't mean to call you B-" Cutting me off he said: "I love
you too."  Coming closer he kissed me on the forehead.  "I'm so sorry.  Can
you forgive me?" He asked rubbing my forehead.

"What?" I asked shocked.  "I'm the one who should be on my knees right now
begging you.  Never mind that, they should put me away for life." I said.

"Why would you do that?" He asked gently rubbing my hand.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"Con you need to promise me that you will never ever do something like that
ever again." Matt said angrily.  "I would never forgive, myself if something
like that ever happened to you."

"You can't leave me again, ok.  I love you and I need you, ok.  Please just
don't leave me ever again, ok?"  I knew I sounded desperate and mentally
ill.  Lord knows I was kinda crazy.

"I won't leave you.  I promise, you will have to push me away.  So calm down
kid.  Everything will be fine."  I was shaking and he rubbed my hand to calm
me down.

"Is my dad alright?" I asked looking up at him.

"Yes, he was very worried and stayed with you for the past two days, but I
sent him home to shower.  He should be back soon."

"I've been asleep for two days?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah, but don't worry.  I got all your notes from the teachers so you
should be fine on the homework front.  All the kids think you just had an
accident so no one knows about the attempted- yeah whatever and I'll help
you with your homework," saying that we both smiled at each other, "and then
we'll finish it in no time."

"You are so amazing." I said smiling at him.

"Listen, from this moment on we talk about our problems ok?  No running away
and letting the other do something crazy.  Deal."

"Deal."  I said happily.

"Now I can spend the rest of my life loving you, kissing you," he said as he
kissed my hand, " fucking you," which caused me to blush- I know I'm such a
virgin, but I've got a lifetime to fix that- a lifetime with Matt, the love
of my life.  A lifetime to not feel bad, but worthwhile and needed.

Hi, everyone.  This story is finally done.  Now I can concentrate on my Sam
Series and maybe start a new one.  I know many people wanted me to continue,
but I felt that this is my first story and has many mistakes so I'd like to
move on and write great stories for all the great people who have inspired
and motivated me to continue.  Thanks for the good times with Not That Bad!
