Not The Only One Concept and Written by: Simplescript Concept and Edited by: Lisa Chapter 11 - "Date Night" Pt. 2 ******Ryan****** That was the last straw. I couldn't take any more jokes or questions about how I've been so distant lately. People just couldn't understand what it's like when you tell a new person all those things about your past and they really have nothing to tell. I feel like if things ever go wrong between me and him he'll have all this dirt on me. I was deep in thought when someone grabbed my arm from behind. "What is up with you?" Mason asked. "WHAT'S UP WITH ME! Why do I feel like I'm being interrogated?" I said feeling my cheeks flush red with anger. "We all just want to know why you've been so distant the last couple weeks," he replied. "It's complicated," I said trying to get him to leave me alone "If you're embarrassed about all of the things you told him about in your past you shouldn't be." "Easy for you to say!" I shot back. "How is it easy for me when I'm part of your past?" "Well you have nothing to lose because you and Jaxson are like brothers." "Why don't you trust him?" "It's all happening so fast," I told him dropping my head in confusion. "Don't you want to be with him?" "Of course." "Then running from him when all you really wanted to do was take things slow while you got comfortable with him was a dumb idea!" Mason emphasized looking me right in the eyes. "I guess I realize that now," I said as I once again dropped my head but this time it was in shame at how stupid I've been. "Now you have to fix this." "How?" "Talk to him! Are you really this slow?" "It's not going to be as easy as it was to talk to you," I said. "Well we've known each other longer" Mason stated. "You're right" I said as we walked balk to towards the restaurant. Before we got there I just wanted to mess with Mason a little and put him on the spot. "Did you enjoy kissing me when we messed around?" "What?" Mason said stopping dead in his tracks. "Did you enjoy kissing me when we messed around?" "I really don't know how to answer that." "Give an honest answer!" "I guess I did a little. It was part of sex and it felt alright," he said as his face turned red in embarrassment. "For a supposed straight guy you are so gay," I said, laughing my ass off. "What, you asked for an honest opinion." "Straight guys are too macho and are never supposed to admit they like anything gay. Even when a straight guy gets a blowjob they never admit that they like it even though you can tell from the look on their facee that they enjoyed it." "And how do you know so much about how straight guys react to a blow job?" "umm... lets go back inside now," I said embarressed that I said too much trying to prove a point. Once inside I noticed Karen and Jaxson were chatting a bit as we made our way over to the table. Once we started eating, Karen, Mason and Jaxson started making light conversation as I just kind of sat there thinking about what I would say to Jaxson when I got him alone. I chimed in a few times to the conversation but other than that I was silent throughout the meal. I occasionally looked at Jaxson during dinner but every time he caught my stare he would look back with a neutral expression. We all chipped in and paid for the meal and left to go back to my house since my parents are away for the weekend. I was again contemplating what I was going to say and do when we got there, as the three of them continued to make small talk. We parked and made our way up to the door. I barely had time to open the door when Mason and Karen sprinted past me and up the stairs faster then Usain Bolt. Jaxson and I looked at each other for a second before we headed into the family room. Jaxson sat in a chair while I sat on the sofa opposite him. We continued to stare at each other. He wore a neutral expression the whole time. Finally after about 10 minutes I finally decided the only way to end this was to man up and say what has been going on inside my head these last couple of weeks. "I Know I've been a little distant lately and I'm sorry," I said trying to get the ball rolling. "A little," Jaxson said under his breath. "I just had all these different emotions running around in my head. When I was leaving that morning where we did all those things, all my emotions hit me like a brick wall. I was scared and I cowered in a shell like a baby," I said taking a deep breath from letting it all out. "You couldn't talk to me about it and tell me that things just happened a little too quickly?. If that was a problem for anybody it should have been me considering I had never done anything like that with anyone," he shot back. "I know I should have, but my mind just felt so messed up and I thought I just needed sometime." "All right, you had your time to think so what have you decided?" He asked sternly. "I decided that I am an idiot for shutting out the most handsome, sincere and cutest guy I've ever met," I said confidently. "You really mean that?" Jaxson asked sounding like a 4 year old receiving his first compliment. "Yeah," I said as I walked over and wrapped my arms around him. "Jaxson Maxwell, will you be my boyfriend?" "Yes, Ryan Nelson I will," he said as he kissed me. The kiss started out as a light peck but turned into a full blown tongue swapping make out session in the middle of the living room. It must have been about 20 minutes before we slowly started to make our way over to the couch never relenting from of heavy spit swapping. Once we made it to the couch I pushed Jaxson on his back and straddled him as we continued to make out. I had let my hands make their way down to the button on Jaxson's jeans when he broke the kiss. "Are you sure about this? I don't want to have to go 2 weeks without talking to you again," he said. "I'm sure," I replied as I slowly started unbuttoning his jeans.
