Date: Fri, 8 Jan 2010 04:38:45 +0000 From: David Lee Subject: Second Chance, Chapter 56 There are a number of reasons why it's great to be young. Among them is the ability to heal quickly. Eric was gaining strength by the hour. After a few days at home with Josh off at work, he was getting bored. He used some of his time to make entries in his journal. He wrote extensively about their canoe trip with Dane and Colt and about how he felt before he ended up in the hospital. Of course, he included a lengthy narration about Josh's caring for him. He realized how lucky he was. Toward the end of the week, Eric called Cliff to see if he could at least work a couple of half days. Cliff said that he would put him on duty with Josh or Peter on the refreshment cart. That would be easier than grounds work and would allow him to get back into working without tiring him out as much. On Friday morning, he went to work with Josh knowing that someone would drive him home if he petered out before his shift was over. He worked all morning with Josh without complaining, but was happy when noon came around and he could go home for a nap. To ease the logistical problem, he drove himself to Peter's dad's business on the way home. Peter drove him on home and took Eric's car back to the club. At the end of the day, Josh would drop Peter off on his way home. It all worked out without having to take any of the adults away from their jobs. ---------- Casey Hall was having a boring summer. He had expected to testify at his brother's trial, but it kept being delayed by the defense attorneys. They were a couple of court appointed lawyers who were already overloaded with cases. Jake's parents were not footing the bill for their older son because he was legally an adult. Besides, the crime he had committed was mostly against them! Casey didn't have much love for his brother after being bullied for years, but he was concerned about what might happen if Jake were sent to prison with older men who might want his ass. He had heard stories about prison rape, but had been told that those were mostly urban legends. In a way it would serve Jake right to be fucked by some big guy in the slammer. But that would be an extreme price to pay... He was jolted out of his pondering by the sound of his cell phone. It was Aaron on the other end. Casey was very pleased to hear from his school mate and wondered why Aaron would be calling him. Aaron invited him to go to a movie with Sam and him. "Are you sure you want me along on your date?" he giggled after he found out the nature of the call. "Sure. We wouldn't ask if we didn't want you to come. We aren't going to play with each other's dick in the back row. We can do that at home in my bed." "Eew! That's more info than I needed." Casey giggled again. "Well, ask your mom if you can go. We'll eat a healthy junk food dinner at the mall before it starts, so bring enough money for that and be ready about 5:00. We have three free passes for the movie." "KEWL! I'll be ready when you get here." Casey had been so excited about going out with friends that he forgot to ask what they were seeing. What the hell. He really didn't care as long as he had something to do. The Hall's had no problem with giving their permission. It would be good for their son to have an evening out to distract him. The moment he left, Henry came up behind his wife and caressed her soft breasts. "How about a little distraction for us before dinner? Then I'll take you out to a nice restaurant so you won't have to cook." "Let's shower together and I'll give you something to snack on before we go." Jena said guiding his right hand down to her crotch. "Hell yes!" her husband answered. "Maybe you'd like an appetizer too..." If Casey had had any idea of what was transpiring as he was riding in the back seat of Sam's car, he would really have said: "EEEEEEEEEEEW!" ---------- On the way to the mall, the three boys got caught up with what was going on in each other's lives. Casey didn't have a lot to contribute, but was interested in hearing about the volunteering Aaron and Sam were doing at the soup kitchen. "Uh, do you think they could use more help?" he asked. "Always," Sam answered. "You don't know how many people are eating there every day. With all the jobs that have been lost, many responsible, hard-working, ordinary people are in need. Their numbers have swelled in recent weeks. Aaron and I are too busy to think some days." "I'm bored to death this summer and I'd help if I had a way to get there, but both my parents work," Casey said. "It's not really out of our way to swing by your house. If you're serious, we'll take you with us tomorrow. If your parents agree to it, that is." "Hell, they'd be thrilled to get me out of the house. This will be great. They were talking about sending me to my grandmother's house in Kansas for a change of scenery. I hate going there because my worthless uncle lives with her and he's a bully like Jake. He creeps me out! I really don't want to go." "Couldn't you just tell them that?" Aaron asked. "Yeah, I suppose I could now that they're paying attention to me since their precious Jake turned out to be such a shit. I didn't know what a hell I was living in until he was gone." "I feel bad for you, Dude. Dylan has always been really good to me even when I was obnoxious and embarrassed him." "You're saying you're not obnoxious now?" Sam teased. "I'll show you obnoxious!" Aaron retorted as he grabbed Sam's crotch. "Babe, don't do that while I'm driving. My dick will spring up against the steering wheel so hard that I won't be able to turn it." "Now who's being obnoxious?" Aaron laughed. "You guys are crazy." Casey giggled. "I'm so glad you're my friends." ---------- By July it was quite evident that Blake had become a resident of the main house and not the garage apartment. Zac talked to Ben and Scott about taking over the lease. He and Allison were going to be married in August and would like to continue living there for their senior year. Since the first of June, she had been paying Blake's half of the rent anyway. It was cool with Blake and he knew that they were shacking up whenever they could even before he had officially moved out. The couple had originally planned to marry in the autumn of the following year after graduating and, hopefully, finding good jobs. However, they had moved the date up when Allison found out she was pregnant. They had kept that a secret from everyone – especially their parents who were quite conservative and would have been truly upset. Their parents readily agreed to an earlier wedding when their children told them they couldn't wait any longer to consummate their union. Zac made it appear as if they were both virgins burning with desire for each other and needed to heed St. Paul's advice for people in their situation. After the new date had been set, Allison miscarried. Their reason for a hasty wedding didn't exist anymore, but after going through the mixture of sorrow and sense of relief over losing what they already considered to be their baby, they realized how much they truly cared for each other. Besides, they now wanted to share their bodies without the fear of having someone at Bethel make a fuss over fornication. That was a sin almost as grave as being gay! Had the wedding been in Minnesota instead of California, they might have invited Blake and Rob. Of course, that most surely would have been awkward. Their parents would certainly have been offended by a gay couple – especially a pair of young men raising a child. Blake and Rob were relieved that they wouldn't be expected to attend. They liked Zac and Allison fine, but didn't want to mix with the Bethel type crowd if they could avoid it. That group was way too far to the right for them. ---------- Reese was still officially enrolled at that school, but was checking into transferring to the University of Minnesota as Blake had done. He hated to give up the scholarships that were paying his way to the private university, but he was tired of living a lie. With Cameron, he had at last given up his "whoring ways". In the back of his mind, he felt a twinge of sadness that he hadn't been able to do that when he was living with Blake. Blake was a good, steady guy who would have made a lifelong companion, but that was over and it was time to move on. Reese wasn't going to fuck up his new relationship. Cam was kind and gentle, but could be a tiger in bed! Ironically, it was his wild side that was having a taming effect on Reese. Waking up one morning in July with Cameron cuddled against his back (morning wood pressing between his butt cheeks); Reese came to the realization that this was the guy he wanted to be with for as long as he could. He hoped that Cam felt the same way. At the moment, his hormones were probably contributing to his desire to hold onto this guy for the foreseeable future. He wiggled his ass, massaging Cam's hardon in the process. "Mm, that feels great," Cameron murmured. "Keep that up and I'll have to call in sick." "You can't afford to miss work. How about I suck you off in the shower?" "Now you're talking, Babe. It'll be a 68. You do me and I'll owe you one," he snickered. "I'll hold you to that! By the way, do you think you could help me get transferred to the university? You said your uncle works in admissions. Would he be willing to expedite the process?" "Absolutely! I've wanted that since I met you and he agrees it would be best for you too. I don't want to have to sneak around avoiding your holier-than-thou classmates. I'll call him on the way to work. Now, let's hit the shower. I've got this big problem I need help with..." ---------- Reese was amazed at how smoothly the process of transferring could be when you had connections. It wouldn't be an overnight deal, but much of the red tape was cut through almost immediately. Now he'd have to figure out a way to tell his mother. She would be disappointed that he was losing his financial support, but she would probably not fuss at him since he had only a year to go and could get loans for part of his expenses at least. He wasn't going to ask her to support him on what little she had. So the next hurdle he needed to jump was breaking the news to her. He was not a minor, so he could do as he pleased. Still, he would like to have her blessing. He felt that he needed to come clean with her about his orientation at the same time. That was something to be done face to face and not by email or telephone. Cam wanted to go with him when he told her. He hoped that Reese would be willing to meet his family in the near future too. Since he had been out to them from his early years in high school, there wouldn't be any stress and he just knew his folks would love Reese. Neither of them had to work the following Sunday, so Reese called his mom to tell her that he'd like to come up for the day. She was elated to have him visit and asked if he could possibly drive up on Saturday night so they'd have more time together. She had no problem with his bringing along a friend. ---------- As soon as Reese got off work on Saturday afternoon, the two guys headed north in Cam's Toyota. Being much newer and more reliable than Reese's beater, it was the ride of choice. They stopped about half way up to eat dinner in a small-town café. Reese had been kind of laid back for the first part of the trip like he normally was, but he appeared more nervous as their destination became closer. He had always projected "cool", so it was a new experience for Cameron to see his boyfriend looking vulnerable. He didn't mind it at all. It made him feel somehow closer and more protective. Cam pulled onto the shoulder of the highway just before reaching the town where Reese's mother lived. "What's up Cam; is something wrong with the car?" "I have to check on what's rattling in the front seat," Cameron grinned. "Huh?" "You, my lover. You're seem to be coming unglued." "Sorry." "Nothing to be sorry about; I want to help." With that, Cam reached across the console taking Reese's head between his hands drawing their lips together. They kissed deeply for several minutes. Cameron could feel some of the tension easing out of Reese's body. "Okay, I'm back together again, but what am I going to do with this?" Reese snickered as he drew Cam's right hand down to the bulge in his crotch. "Not to worry. I can fix that problem too." Cameron got out of the driver's seat and opened the passenger door. He unzipped Reese's jeans and pulled them down to his knees along with his underwear. "Shit! This is on the edge of town on a public highway," Reese croaked as if his voice were changing. "That makes it all the hotter," Cameron grinned. "I still owe you from that 68 last week, so lean back and enjoy it. Keep watch and let me know if a state trooper happens by." Reese kept his eyes open for traffic on the road. It was pretty quiet and darkness had settled in. Cam was right; it was exciting to be getting a blow job out where there was a possibility of being caught. He was sure that they'd have enough time to straighten up before someone actually saw what was going on, but still there was a pleasantly scary feeling about the whole scene! Cameron was no amateur when it came to pleasuring a hard cock. He nuzzled, licked, and sucked like a pro. He had been with Reese long enough to know the "hot buttons" and he didn't hold back on using them. Within a very few minutes, Reese was writhing and moaning begging to be finished off while not wanting the feeling to stop – ever! With an upward thrust and a cry verging on a war whoop, Reese rewarded his boyfriend's efforts with a hot load of prime man-cream. Cam took it all and continued to clean up with his tongue until Reese's softening dick became too sensitive. "Wow! That was a 101!" "A what?" "That was the one you owed me plus 100 more. Okay, I'm so relaxed Mom will probably think I've been smoking weed. Damn, I feel good. Thanks!" Reese stood up to make it easier for Cam to help him pull his pants back up. Cam kissed the head of his cock before confining it again. Then he too stood. Reese pulled him into a passionate kiss that allowed him to taste his essence on his lover's lips. The French kissing that followed yielded yet more flavor. Cameron got back behind the wheel and they drove on. He rummaged through the console to find a tin of breath mints. Both guys grinned as they popped the small candies into their mouths to disguise the aroma of their recent activity. Following Reese's directions, Cam pulled his car into the drive a few minutes later. As they got out, the porch light came on. This was the big moment. Reese drew a deep breath and headed toward the door with his arm around Cam's shoulder. ---------- Cam assumed that the person who opened the door must be Reese's sister although he'd not heard Reese speak of a sibling. He was surprised to find out that it was Reese's mother. She looked far too young and petite to have borne a big, twenty-year-old hunk like him. She stood on tip-toes to reach up to kiss her only child. Even then, he had to stoop for her to reach his face. When they stood back apart, Reese introduced Cam. "Mom, this is my housemate, Cameron Johnson." "I'm pleased to meet you Mrs. Payne." Cam said accepting her extended hand. "Oh, call me Brooke like all my friends do. I'll embarrass Reese by telling you this, but the name on my birth certificate is `Shining Brook'. I guess I should be thankful that my very traditional mother didn't name me `Babbling Brook'." "Mo-om!" Reese laughed. "Well, it's true. You might as well know all the family secrets if you're going to hang around with my son." "Mom, can we sit down? I have a couple of things I need to talk to you about and I want to get them off my chest so we can either have a relaxing day tomorrow or turn around and drive home tonight." "Oh dear, what can be so serious? You're not into drugs are you?" "No Mom." Their conversation was interrupted by the whistling of the tea kettle. "Come into the kitchen boys. I always find that serious conversation goes smoother with a cup of hot tea." Brooke brewed a pot of herbal tea and added milk and sugar to Reese's so that it tasted just like what his grandmother made. Cam followed her example in doctoring his. They all had a swallow in silence while Brooke waited patiently for her son to begin. "Mom, I know how much it meant to you when I got a free ride to Bethel. I don't want to let you down, but I'm transferring to the University of Minnesota for my senior year. They're taking all of my credits, so I can still graduate on time. I think I have the finances worked out. I hope you won't be angry with me." "Of course I'm not angry, Son. I've always felt that the atmosphere there was stifling for you. I feel bad that you'll have more debt when you're done, but I can understand why you might want to spread your wings and go elsewhere. I was afraid you were going to tell me you'd been kicked out for drinking or something." "No, I've stayed pretty much on the straight and narrow on that score, but there is something else. When I tell you, you may want us to leave." "I doubt that," she responded. "I can't think of anything that would cause me to do that." "Mom, I like guys; I'm gay." Brooke smiled wistfully as she put her small hand on his big one. "It's okay," she said simply. Reese began to sob in relief as Cam placed a hand over Reese's other hand, nearly covering it completely. "Should I assume that you'll be my son-in-law?" she continued, turning to Cameron. "He hasn't asked me formally, but if he does, I will be proud to be part of your family." Brooke placed her other hand on Cam's. "Cameron, do you know that in our heritage men who love other men were looked up to as having a special spirit?" "Like shamans," Cam said. "Yes, I've taken quite a bit of anthropology and I was aware that some groups of people felt that way." "I've always known that Reese was bright, creative, and sensitive to spiritual things. It doesn't surprise me that he's special. I imagine you are too. If you love my son, you must be!" "I'd like to be, that's for sure." Cam smiled. "It's getting late and I need my rest," Reese's mom announced. "I was concerned about where I'd put you both up because I've turned the third bedroom into a TV room and that couch isn't really comfortable for sleeping. I guess you won't mind sharing Reese's old room. It does have a queen size bed." "Thanks Mom." Reese said. "You go on to bed. I'll get us settled soon. I love you!" "I love you too, Son." ---------- Author's notes: Thanks to the following who emailed me since last posting: Carroll, Rutabaga, John McD, Chris B, Tom A, Jim C, Jim We, Rad, Tom B, Polar, Chea, Paul R, Carroll, Bertrand, Greg T, Paul L, and Mauricio L. I have a recommendation for those who want to read a really cool story that probably won't have any sex in it. At least that's what the author told me. It's called: "Chances for Changes" and was last posted on January 7th under the high school category. I read the first chapter and was hooked. The following is from a reader who wanted me to pass along a warning to the younger readers. I'm including it just as he wrote it to me. I want to tell you a little story of mine: Three years ago, when i was 15 i fell head over heels for this guy, who said he loved me. Long story short, after a three-month relationship we went to a party and he put some stuff (i don't know what) in my drink. He would've raped me if it wasn't for my best friend who was looking for me. Unfortunately he managed to take pictures of me kissing him and doing him a blowjob, which i didn't want to do, and he distributed them on hi5. I just tell you this so you can tell all your readers not to rely too quick on anybody, i sometimes think that what happened to me is a way of making me strong against the world and to be able to teach other people.
