ENJOY --- *Jason's Dialogue* In the days that followed Jack's recovery, the doctors did several tests and within a week he'd been discharged. We'd decided to keep our kiss a secret, we hadn't had a repeat performance since the first, but we always caught each other looking at one another, followed by girly giggles. When Jack was discharged, he went home with his mum and for the first time in weeks, I went back to my house. I got the train and a bus back to my house and as I drew close to my house an unwelcome site met my eyes. The windows of our house had been fixed and looked brand new, but standing by my front door was Alice. She was just about to knock on the door but turned around when I called out. "Oi! What the hell are you doing here?!" I said as I stormed towards her. She turned, smiled pleasantly and ran towards me and threw her arms around me in a hug. "Thank god you're okay!" she said. "Get off me!" I pushed her off of me and stood there looking at her in disgust. "You realise all of this was down to you?!" "I know, I know! I'm so sorry Jason! I was just so torn up about us breaking up and wanted to get my own back on you. I was wrong doing that, I didn't have a clue that everyone would turn against you!" She looked a little bit smug at the fact that she'd managed to influence so many people. "I was in pieces when I found out what happened to you and Jack! I went crazy at the guys that did it and everyone knows about it and is so shocked!" I hadn't heard from anybody from school since the incident, my phone was broken, and Alice did seem to be sincere about all of this, I couldn't help thinking she was being a little bit too nice though. "Well, it's not me you should apologise to; it's Jack. I only got a few cuts and bruises; he was in a coma for weeks! I hope you're happy with what you've achieved!" I walked past her and towards the door. "Stop. Please." Her voice was quivering and I turned around to see that she was crying. "I really am so sorry." She burst into tears. Even though all of the hardship I'd been through recently was because of her, seeing her cry made me feel uneasy and I believed that she really was sorry, so, despite everything... I hugged her. She cried for a while and I took her inside, my mum was at work so we sat in the living room and talked for a while. "Thank you." She sobbed. "I didn't think you would be so nice to me after everything." "Trust me, I don't think you deserve it after everything, but I wasn't going to let you just walk away in tears." I said. "Can we talk about something?" She said. "Depends on what it is." I got up and made her a drink. "You and Jack... what's going on there?" she said, taking a sip of her drink looking at me intently as I sat in the armchair across the room. "What do you mean?" I said. I knew what she meant, but I wasn't going to let on. "Well, you two seem to be really close... but I heard you'd stayed at his bedside for all the time he was in hospital, that sounds like a bit more than friendship." She said this while still staring at me. "I'm not sure if you've ever actually had a best friend, Alice. But I wasn't going to leave him, especially seeing as I thought it was my fault he was there!" I got quite angry at this, if she'd managed to pick up on my feelings for him... how many other people had? "I'm sorry." She said, crying again. "I'm being selfish again. I just want to know why you broke up with me; I thought it might have been because you and Jack had something going on? You were with him on the day that you broke up with me after all." She was still crying, but she still had that intent look in her eyes. "Well, you're half right." I don't know why I told her what I did next, but I felt like, even though she'd caused me and Jack so much misery, she deserved to know why I broke up with her. "There's nothing going on with me and Jack." I lied. "But I am gay." Alice gasped and held her hand to her mouth in shock. I couldn't help laughing. "So... I turned you?" Alice asked. The crying had suddenly stopped and she was wide eyed. "No." I said smiling, trying to reassure. "I think I'd known long before you and me, but after a while with you, I fully realised it wasn't right for me. I did love you, don't get me wrong. But I just wasn't physically attracted to you like that." Alice suddenly grinned. "Well this is brilliant! I have a gay best friend!" She laughed. "Pfft, fat chance Alice. I've told you the truth because I thought you deserved to know. I'm nowhere near ready to forgive you for everything. You seem genuinely sorry for everything, but it's not enough right now. We'll stay civil to each other for now. But I don't want any hassle for me or Jack when we come back to school. We'll start patching up a friendship in a while, okay?" I thought this sounded fair. Alice's smile didn't falter when I'd finished. "Yeah, yeah sure!" She was still grinning. "Thank you Jason, for telling me. I was beating myself up over it for ages thinking it was because I wasn't good enough. I'm sorry for saying you'd cheated on me." "Well, I can't forgive you for that last one just yet... Because of you, me and my best friend got beaten up and put into hospital." I said. "Yeah, I know, I'm sorry. I've been thinking, do you think it'd be a good idea for me to go to Jack's and apologise to him." She said. "Well, it'd be a start." I said, I wasn't sure how Jack would react, but I'd rather she found out for herself. "I need to go lie down for a bit, I'm shattered, so you're gonna have to go now." "Okay." She was smiling still, she got up and made her way towards me and opened her arms for a hug. "Not just yet, yeah. One step at a time." I smiled and nodded at her; she did the same and left. Afterwards, I reflected on what had just happened. Alice genuinely did seem sorry for what had happened, but I knew that forgiving her wouldn't be the right thing to do right now. I took myself upstairs and sprawled on my bed. I just laid there for a while, my thoughts drifted to Jack and back to the kiss in the hospital. I wished he was with me, so we could just lie together, I wanted that feeling of intimacy. *Jack's Dialogue* I'd just closed the door on Alice. 'That was a weird conversation' I thought to myself. I'd pretty much told her to stay away from me. She'd apologised a lot and said that she'd gone to see Jason and that he'd told her about 'everything'. What exactly did Jason tell her? I panicked about this; surely Jason hadn't told her about what had happened in hospital?! I'd only been home for 10 minutes and I still couldn't relax, my mind was all over the place. I hadn't kissed Jason at all since the first time, but I really wanted to, every time I saw him I stared at his lips and wished that they were pressed against mine. When he wasn't around I felt empty and wanted to be with him. The thought of him and Alice having a cosy chat and a laugh about everything made me feel sick and betrayed. I couldn't even text or ring him about it as our phones had apparently been smashed to pieces during the fight. I decided that I'd just have to go round to his house later and try and talk to him then. I went upstairs and into my room to find it was pristinely clean. My mum had obviously still decided to keep my room in top condition for when I came home. I darted towards my laptop and quickly loaded up Facebook. "Whoah!" I said to myself. I had about 200 notifications and just over 150 messages in my inbox. All of them were from people at school. Messages like 'Get well soon mate :)' from the guys and 'OMG Jack, please get well soon <3' from girls. One person had actually thought I was dead and had put 'R.I.P mate, it's truly tragic. I'll never forget you.' I laughed at this one and commented on it saying 'I'll make sure to haunt you lol.' A few of the guys that were involved in the fight had apologised on Facebook... the ones that weren't arrested. I checked Jason's profile and saw that he'd got the same posts. I saw the little green icon in the corner of his profile showing me that he was online. I could finally find out what he'd exactly said to Alice. I opened up a chat box and said 'Skype. Now :)' He replied with 'One step ahead of you ;)' I opened up Skype and started a video call with Jason as soon as I could; we couldn't use our microphones as his was broken and my mum would be eavesdropping if she heard me talking. His picture loaded up and my heart suddenly lightened, I couldn't believe that I'd never paid attention to how good looking he was before, and was amazed at how I'd never even thought about him romantically. He smiled when he saw me and I instantly felt fuzzy and butterflies fluttered around inside me as I smiled back, going red. Jason: Hey there :) Jack: Hi ;) Jason: Using wink faces are we now ;) Jack: Well don't act like you don't love it really :P Jason: I wasn't complaining. It's good to see you again xD Jack: we only saw each other about an hour ago you dipstick Jason: yeah... but i still missed you. Jack: I thought you'd gone off me :/ Jason: wtf? Why? Jack: well after what happened that night.. u didnt give me the chance for it to happen again! Jason: I thought you didn't want it to happen again, you're meant to be the straight one btw. Jack: ahahaha! I think we both know better than that now. Jason: well if you really want another kiss you'll have to come and get one ;) Jack: i might just do that ;) Jason: ehehe. Anyway, has alice been over to you at all? Jack: yeah she has... that's what I wanted to talk to you about Jason: ?? Jack: She said you told her everything? You didn't tell her about us did you? Jason: pahahaha no. she asked me if something was going on with us because I slept at the hospital while you were there, I told her im gay too Jack: What?? WHY?! Jason: I dunno, it seemed alright at the time, she deserved to know why I broke it off with her I spose Jack: fair enough Jason: so... you coming over here or what. Jack: if you haven't got any more cosy meetings with alice... Jason: don't be a dipstick jack. she was already here when I got back and she started crying and I decided to talk things over with her. Jack: ... you're so sweet ;) Jason: Shutup and come round. Jack: is your mum there? Jason: Nooope :) Jack: Then I'll be there asap xx Jason: ahahaha, see you soon xx I waved at Jason over the webcam and shut my laptop. "Jason!" I heard my mum call up the stairs. "Yeah?" I called back down. "Come down here quickly. I've got something for you." This got me suspicious. I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen. My mum was waiting there with a small bag in each hand. "What's that?" I asked, nodding towards the bags. "What do you like more; touching or pressing?" she said. A vivid image of me touching Jason's leg and then pressing myself against him flew into my mind. "What the hell mum?" I said shocked. 'What the hell was this all about' I thought to myself. My mum just laughed. "Just answer the question." "Touching I suppose." I said feeling embarrassed. My mum laughed a lot harder at this, then held out the bag in her right hand. I took it and looked inside. She'd bought me a BlackBerry Torch! "Oh my god mum! I actually love you so much!" I said and ran flung my arms around her. "Yeah, well your phone got wrecked, you won't have the same number, but it's the best I could do!" She said, still smiling happily. "What was the question all about?" I asked. "Well, I bought 2 different phones. They both cost about the same, I though Jason might like it, seeing as his got ruined too. Do you think he'll like the BlackBerry Bold?" She said, with a grin on her face. "It took me a while to think of that question, I had to let you have first choice obviously" "Mum... he is going to love you forever for this!" I said. It was funny how happy something as materialistic made me. "Well, you'd better go take this to him, give him my love, as well as yours." She said with a grimace. "What?!" I said, stunned. Surely she didn't know about me and Jason, but I supposed she was just winding me up about my sleep talking. "I'm kidding Jack. Go on, get out you wally." She said chuckling to herself. "Love you mum!" I said. I ran to put my shoes on and bolted out the door still clutching both bags containing the phones. Considering both my legs had been broken a few weeks before, I'd recovered really quickly from it and was practically sprinting to Jason's house. I ran up to his front door and had to stop for a while to catch my breath. I was looking forward to seeing him for quite a few reasons now. I knocked on the door and almost instantly heard footsteps charging down the stairs behind the door. A moment after Jason's eyes appeared behind the door as he opened it slowly. "Get in, quickly" he said. I stepped in and looked at Jason, he was standing behind the door, dripping wet in a towel. I'd never seen Jason properly without a top on, the only other time was a few weeks beforehand when it was battered and bruised. It would be fair to say that he was actually quite hot. Even though his body was kind of pale, he definitely took care of himself, he wasn't fully toned, but he definitely was heading that way. "Awww, you didn't have to dress up for me!" I said laughing. "I was in the shower! You only went offline like 10 minutes ago!" He said, he was now red in the face and was crossing his arms to cover his chest. I laughed. "I'll go get dressed, go get yourself a drink. I'll be down in a sec." "Don't take too long, I've got something for you." I said, giving him a wink. I turned and walked into his living room, then into the kitchen. For some reason, I'd been expecting it to look or seem different after a couple of weeks, but it was just the same as it was on the morning that I'd heard Jason singing in it. I poured myself out a glass of orange juice and went back into the living room and looked at all the family pictures on the wall. Jason had 3 siblings; a brother and two sisters, he was the baby of the family with his youngest sister being 6 years older than him. Jason looked a lot like his brother, Sam, except his brother had shorter hair and bright blue eyes, to me; Jason looked a lot warmer than his brother. His eldest sister, Trucy, was blonde and had a happy face, again it was obvious that Jason and her were related; they both had the same nose and eye shape. However, his youngest sister was what they'd call the 'black sheep' of the family. The only way she looked similar to any of the family was that she and Jason had the same dazzling green eyes. She didn't have an unhappy face, but it wasn't as bright as the other siblings'. She had dark brown hair and a pretty face, Jason said that she was the sister she got along with the most. *Jason's Dialogue* 'Christ!! How the hell did he get here so fast? I didn't think he'd be here so quickly.' I thought to myself as I threw on some dark blue denim shorts and a light blue zip up hoody. I ran back downstairs and walked into the living room to see Jack inspecting one of my family photos. "Enjoying yourself?" I said; this made him jump. "You look good in this picture." He said smiling; he put the picture back to where it was supposed to be and walked towards me. "But not as good as you look now" He looked at me directly in the face and for the second time, we kissed. This is time it was shorter, but more confident. We were both more strenuous in the kiss this time and it was helpful that we weren't in an awkward angle. Suddenly a trace of doubt swam through my mind and I pulled away. "What?" Jack said, lips still wet. "Can we talk?" I said, feeling a bit disheartened. "Ermm, sure." Jack sat down on the sofa and I sat next to him. I looked at him, and he was staring back at me smiling. "It's just," I started "well... it's all a bit fast don't you think? I mean, it was only a few weeks ago that I came out to you. You didn't think to tell me that you were gay too, you hid it well, I'll give you that." "Look." Jack said, suddenly losing a bit of his cheeriness. "I don't know if I am gay. I know what I'm feeling though, what I've been feeling for you started on the day of the fight. I've felt it for some girls before, but nowhere near as strongly as I feel it now, for you. I'm sort of scared to say it." "Say what?" I said. "That I think I'm falling for you." Jack said, he went red and looked down. I put my hand on his cheek and lifted his face up to look at me. "The feeling's mutual." I said and pulled him into a tender kiss. Things got a lot more heated from then; the kissing became stronger and more forceful, Jacks tongue slipped in and we wrestled for dominance of my mouth. I won the wrestle and slid my tongue back into his while our mouths twisted into each other and lips slid over one another's. I lifted myself up and leant over Jack and he lifted his legs onto the sofa so that we were comfortable with me kneeling above him. Jack ran his hands up my sides and I responded by rubbing my hands over his toned stomach. As we got into a rhythm of kissing my hips began to curl and press into him instinctively. Animal instinct started to take over and I went to lift Jack's t-shirt off of him when he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled away from my lips. "Are you sure you want be doing this?" he said. "Doing what?... we're only making out." I said "Yeah, but this is only our first time of doing anything like this. You were taking my clothes off!" Jack said with a grin on his face. "I trust you enough to do this with you. Besides, there's always a first time for everything." I lifted his t-shirt over his head and he did the same to me before engaging in another fierce battle of lips. We pressed our bodies together and I felt the warmth of Jacks body against mine. It was electric! I could feel every nerve in body tingle and I felt the hairs on my arms and legs stand on end. - Click - The noise made me and Jack break apart and stare at each other in shock. The next second, we heard voices and the familiar sound of the front door opening. "Kitchen. Hide. Quickly!" I hissed to Jack. He got up from the sofa quickly and ran into the kitchen just as the living room door opened and my mum walked in followed by my brother and both my sisters. They were laughing and abruptly stopped when they saw me standing there, red in the face, shirtless and with an unmistakable bulge in my shorts. "HA! Jason's got a boner!" Sam, my older brother said laughing. My sisters were in laughing uncontrollably and my mum was suppressing a giggle as they thought they had just walked in on me masturbating. "Well at least we know those boys didn't do any damage down there!" said Trucy laughing harder than any of them. My heart was beating faster than it had ever beaten in my life! Any moment my mum would go into the kitchen to make everyone a drink and find Jack in there, in the same state as I was in right now. *Jack's Dialogue* "So who wants a cup of coffee?" I heard Jason's mum ask while they were still all laughing as they thought they'd just walked in on Jason having a cheeky tug. I was tucked away, laying on my front under the kitchen table with the tablecloth barely covering me. I heard Jason's mum walk into the kitchen and I held my breath, all she had to do was look at the floor by the table and the game would be up. In the sitting room they were still laughing at Jason, I felt sorry for him, but we would have both been even more embarrassed if they knew what was actually going on before they had arrived. "Who's top is this?" I heard his brother ask. 'Shit' I thought to myself. I'd left my t-shirt on the floor by the sofa. "Mine. Who else's is it gonna be, idiot!" I heard Jason shoot back. "One of your many boyfriends?" Sam said, laughing. The conversation in the sitting room carried on while Jason's mum was making the drinks and just as she was carrying them into the sitting room. SMASH Coffee splattered across my face and scalded it. Jason's mum had just dropped one of the cups of coffee and it had smashed on the floor spilling its contents directly in front of my face. "Oh crap!" Jason's mum said, I saw her walk a drawer, take out a dish cloth and come back towards me. 'This is not good!' I thought o myself as Lynne crouched down to mop up the spilt coffee. It would be a miracle if she didn't spot me. I could see her clearly in front of me now and her head turned in my direction, I could have sworn that her eyes flitted upon me at one point, but she didn't show any sign of noticing me. When she'd finished, she walked back into the sitting room. "Forget the drinks. Shall we just head out for the meal?" She said. "What meal?" I heard Jason say. "We're celebrating you being back home!" "Ermm, okay. Let me just go get some clothes on." He said, sounding a bit embarrassed. "You've got clothes here, I'm hungry. Can we go?" Sam said. I heard the shuffling of everybody getting up and walking out. I stayed safely under the table for another few minutes after everything had gone quite, when I decided it was safe; I left my cosy table sanctuary and walked back into the sitting room. It felt weird being in Jason's house alone; I looked over to where me and him had been making out not 10 minutes ago and smiled. The 2 bags with phones in them were still safely tucked behind the sofa, I went to get them. My t-shirt was gone; I assumed that Jason must have put it on when they had left. I couldn't leave the house half naked, so I decided to go find something of Jason's to wear. I took myself upstairs into his room. 'This was it. This was the dream room that I was in while I was in the coma. How could I not have remembered this before?' I thought to myself. I instantly felt warmth for Jason's room as I walked in. I walked over to his wardrobe, took out a tight fitting t-shirt and a hoody and put them on. They smelled like him, I loved the smell. I thought I'd leave the phone here on his bed like a little present; I left a note too, reading: 'Jason, not sure if we can risk anything like that again. Anyway, this is for you, from my mum. x' I wrote out my new number and my BBM Pin and put that with the note. My mind suddenly started racing. 'What am I doing?!' I thought to myself. 'I'm not gay! I like girls. Don't I?' The whole situation just felt weird. I sat on Jason's bed and held my head in my hands and started asking myself questions. 'Do you really like girls?' 'Do you actually like Jason as more than a friend, or is it just sheer loyalty to him that you're feeling?' I did think I liked girls, but since being with Jason, I'd lost confidence in that. I also knew for a fact that I must like Jason much more than a friend. He'd made me hard while we were making out, even some of the hottest girls couldn't have managed it as quickly as he did. 'I'm not gay though.' I thought to myself defiantly, 'it's just Jason. It's only Jason that you like, not guys in general.' I don't know why all of this was hitting me all of a sudden; I'd had all the time in hospital after we'd kissed for the first time to consider what I was. I had to leave Jason's house, I'd been sitting on his bed for the best part of 20 minutes and I couldn't risk his family finding me in the house. I left his house as casually as I could so as to not raise suspicion from neighbours, in case they were watching. I walked to end of his garden and out of the gate; stopping to put earphones in and I put my iPod on shuffle. A song I didn't recognise started playing and I looked down at my iPod to see what it was. A custom album art had been made with the words 'I vandalised your iPod ;) J' The song that was playing was called 'Every Time You Go' by Ellie Goulding. Ellie Goulding wasn't usually my taste in music; I'd heard 'Starry Eyed' and decided that she wasn't an artist that interested me. But this song, it was good, I liked the sound of it. To me it sounded meaningful and had a good tune to it. As I walked home, with the sound of this song in my ears and a sunset laying over the fields, I started to feel fulfilled and warm. My mind kept showing me flashbacks of Jason, smiling... Laughing... kissing me. I can't explain what it is, but something about this guy has my heart in a chokehold. *Jason's Dialogue* Eating dinner at a pub wasn't exactly my idea of fun, it was karaoke night too which just added to the bad experience. Most of the meal was spent with the rest of my family trying to humiliate me at any opportunity. My mind had eased a little about Jason; I knew that he would have definitely gone home as soon as we left. The banter switched from victimising me to victimising my mum; this was always funny because my mum reacted in such a hilarious way to it. Everything was quite happy (excusing the flat voices of the people on karaoke) and it wasn't even ruined by Sam's constant snide comments about me. I was still wearing Jack's t-shirt and it definitely had the unmistakable smell of him, nobody else had picked up on it but I was enjoying knowing that just a couple of hours ago, I'd taken this top off of him during an intense make out. Sam and Trucy had just come back from the bar with drinks after the meal and gave me a sinister smile. "What." I said sternly. Something about this seemed bad. "We've set up a little surprise for you, and a little bit of entertainment for us." Sam said, with the same sinister smile on his face. I sighed. I guessed what they'd done only moments before it was proven. A voice called out "Jason Moore, come on up!" it was the landlord of the pub that was calling me up to the karaoke machine. At first I stood my ground and shook my head, I was embarrassed of my singing enough as it was when it was just me and my mum, let alone a pub full of people. "What song have you set up?" I whispered to my brother frowning. "I tried to get 'Gay Bar', but they don't have it, so I just told him to find a really feminine song." He laughed and gave me a comical wink. I decided I might as well face up to it and give everyone a laugh; I might even end up giving myself a laugh. I walked up to the tacky stand that had been decorated with gold glittery stars and tinsel that had probably been used to decorate the pub at Christmas. I got a small round of applause from the amused people sitting around me. I reached the stand and was handed the microphone by the fat, balding landlord before he hobbled off, chuckling to himself. I looked over at the Karaoke Machine. Good News: At least I knew the Lyrics to the song. Bad News: High chance of me fucking it up in front of everyone. I was singing Kelly Clarkson's 'Because of You'. The intro started and my brother and sisters began to roar with laughter. Nerves started to bubble up inside me, this was the first time that I'd ever sung in front of more than one person, if I mucked up, it was only a karaoke night... but if I nailed it, I'd have the satisfaction of wiping the laughing faces of my siblings clear. I began to sing with my eyes closed. "I will not make, the same mistakes that you did and I-ii." I opened my eyes and looked around. Every face was either smiling widely, or staring at me in awe. My brother looked horrified. I guessed that I can't have been doing a bad job and carried on singing. "Will not let myself, cause my heart so much misery..." I finished the song smiling and to a roar and a standing ovation from most of the customers in the pub. It's hard to describe how it feels when something like that happens. I knew I must have sounded relatively good to have gotten a response like that. I felt so light and I could feel tears coming to my eyes, the clapping continued until the landlord came and patted me on the back, indicating for me to go and sit back down. I made my way back to my table with people still smiling and clapping as I passed. When I sat down, all faces at the table, with the exception of my mum were staring at me with their mouths wide open in shock. "You kept that one quiet little bro." Lara said. I blushed and looked down. We carried on laughing and joking for the rest of the evening, Sam had eased up on tormenting me. I guess he might have been still in shock from expecting to hear me with a wobbly, deep, constantly cracking voice and then hearing me sing quite well. "Erm, Justin, Excuse me?" A deep male voice said from behind me. I turned around to see my school's principle, Mr Rawbone standing in front of me. He was a man in his mid 30's; he was 7ft tall, which is quite a daunting height to be spoken to from. He had neatly swept light brown hair and always wore a suit. I stood up and he held his hand out to shake mine, I did so, but was still unsure on what to say. "I see you're out of hospital now, that's wonderful news. Will you be coming back to school any time soon?" He asked. "Yes sir, I'll be back to school after the weekend." I replied. "Congratulations on that performance by the way." He said smiling. I blushed. "That's a fine talent you've got there, there's a talent show coming up at the end of next week, I'd love to see you in that." I was still blushing. "Thank you sir, I'll consider it." "Oh, and naturally, I heard about the incident at school. I have posted vouchers to both you and Jack and all of the perpetrators shall be coming to see you both to apologise and leaving straight afterwards. They have been expelled." My heart sank a little bit, as much as I thought they deserved to be expelled after what they'd done, I couldn't help feeling a little bit bad for them. "Thank you, sir." He nodded at me. "Well I shall see you next week then Mr Moore, rehearsals start Monday at 4pm." He shook my hand again, walked over to his table, collected his wife and left, giving me another curt nod before leaving. - My mum and I parted ways with my other siblings as we left the pub and me and her started the drive home. "You know, it was lucky that I'd smashed that cup of coffee earlier." My mum said as we pulled into the driveway of our house. "What do you mean?" I asked. "If I hadn't dropped it I wouldn't have seen Jack hiding under the table." My stomach felt like it plummeted about 50ft and I started to sweat from my forehead and I went high pitched. "What?!" I said, trying to deny it. "Listen, Jason. I know you're gay. I'm your mum; I'd be doing a lousy job if I hadn't figured it out." I started crying. "I'm so sorry mum." I was shaking and hiding my face with my hands. This felt so terrible, my mum had found out my darkest secret. "Hey." She said comfortingly and put her arm around me. "Don't be sorry, I just want you to be happy. Whether you were gay or straight or the other one... I'd love you the same regardless of anything." I looked up at her, tears obscuring my vision, but I could clearly see her smiling brightly at me. "Mum... I- thank you." I said, still shaking. "I'm really sorry Jason. I shouldn't have forced you into that." She said, with a tone of solemnity. "No, I'm sort of glad you did, I was dreading having to come out to you." "Why?" "Well, I thought you might reject me or something. I know the others will." The thought of the rest of my family knowing was enough to make me shudder. "I'm not going to lie to you Jason; they won't like it at all. I know that all of them are strongly homophobic. But me and you will find a way to deal with it, okay. I will always be here Jason. Understand?" She looked deadly serious at the last part of what she'd said. "Okay mum. I love you." I said, cracking a smile. "Love you too hun', come on, I'm shattered." She said. We got out of the car and I hugged her before we got into the house. I was just so pleased knowing that I didn't have to hide from myself at home now. We got inside and my mum went straight up to bed. I went into the sitting room to see if Jack had left any trace that he was here. Downstairs was exactly as it should have been, clean and tidy. I decided to take myself up to bed, it had been an eventful day and I needed to mull everything over. It was about 10:30pm. I got into my room to find a small white bag on my bed and a note on my bed. They were from Jack. The note was a bit disheartening as he'd said he didn't want to risk anything like that again. I looked inside the bag and saw the new BlackBerry Bold and was instantly ecstatic with what I'd been given! So much gratitude flooded through me for Jack's mum. I turned it on straight away and found that she'd also set up the SIM cards so that they were all ready for me to start using everything on the phone. I added Jack on BlackBerry Messenger first and he accepted me almost instantly. I didn't know what to say to him at first, he said he didn't want to risk anything anymore; did that mean me and him were over? My heart sunk again at the thought of this, we'd hardly been together and now it could be over just like that because he was too scared to get caught. I just sent him a short message, and he replied quickly, soon we were having a deep conversation: Jason: Hey Jack: Hello you :P x Jason: so you're still happy putting kisses? I thought you didn't want to risk anything ? :( x Jack: I'm sorry about that note, I was just so scared after what happened. x Jason: my mum saw you. X Jack: WHAT?! You're kidding right?! Jason: No. :/ .. she told me she knows about me being gay. Jack: what did you say. Jason: I pretty much just broke down in tears at first because I was scared, she reassured me though. Jack: So she knows about me and you? X Jason: I would think so.. you were in my kitchen half naked and they walked in on me with a boner. She put 2 and 2 together ahaha x Jack: This is bad Jase! People are going to start finding out about us!! X Jason: That's not going to happen you donut! X Jack: Why not? X Jason: My mum isn't going to say anything... and, now we can do stuff together at mine now without the risk of a huge exposure if she comes home. We'll just have to keep it to my bedroom from now on. Xx Jack: Okay, I trust your mum I guess. Is that a promise btw? ;) xx Jason: about doing more in my room? Xx Jack: yerr. Xx Jason: of course.. I wish you were laying next to me in bed now :P xx Jack: Naughty ;P xx Jason: You love it ;) xx Jack: You're making me hard thinking about it xx Jason: ehehe same. Xx Jack sent me a picture of his exposed chest and a distinct tent in his boxers. I got such a hard on from it. Jason: omg, get here now! ;) xx Jack: don't I get a piccy back :( xx I took a picture of my tight boxers; my cock was going down the left leg and was a definite visible bulge. Jack: OMG THAT IS SO HOT! Xx Jason: hehehe, you want that? Xx Jack: Lots.. but I'm tired so.. I'll see you tomorrow sexy xx Jason: aww, night night hot stuff xxx I put my phone down and turned my lamp off and my fan on. I was just about to drift off into a dream when - WHOOSH - BANG! The sound tore me away from my drowsiness and I charged out of my room and towards the source of the noise. There was an orange glow coming from outside my front door, I went to the sitting room window to see what it was, when I saw it flying towards me. A bottle came flying towards the window, the new windows withstood the impact, but then flames erupted as the bottle smashed against the window. Somebody had thrown a petrol bomb at our house! I looked out the window again to see who it was. A large figure was standing at the end of our garden laughing; they got into a large car and drove off, leaving our front door and the area below our window burning. --- Well that's it for this chapter.
