Steven & Jason - Chapter Seven

Lucas Bedford walked into the dining room having recovered from the bear hug his nephew gave him. He stood six feet tall with dirty blond hair and green eyes. His biceps firm, causing his sleeves to hug his arms with the same going for his chest. Yes, Lucas looked like he did not have an ounce of fat on him. His work kept him toned and nicely filled out.

"Mom, why didn't you say Lucas was the one coming to dinner?"

"It was supposed to be a surprise dear," Anne smiled.

"Well it's a good one." Jason said, "How long are you here for Lucas?"

"Two days. I am here with the trailer and taking a horse out in the desert back home with me."

"Well sit down and eat the dinner we made. Oh I forgot, Lucas, this is Steven." Jason introduced.

I shook his hand and motioned for him to have a seat while I fixed him a plate. Lucas sat next to his brother John while Anne took the seat on the other side of John. Jason and I sat across the round table facing the adults. Idle chit chat accompanied the meal with a few accolades mixed in.

Anne looked at me as I was putting in my last bite, "Steven, do you think your mother would have time to get together tomorrow or Monday night to say hello to Lucas?"

"I don't know Mrs. Bedford. You can call and ask before eight tonight or between noon and eight tomorrow."

"I'll call her in a bit."

Soon enough after we had all eaten and gotten full I remembered, "Jason made chocolate cream pie with a graham cracker crust. It's in the fridge when anyone is in the mood for something sweet."

The clock on the wall showed 6PM and I should probably get home and let Jason spend some time with his uncle. I announced that I was heading home and thanked John and Anne for letting me stay over. They were the ones who thanked me more for keeping an eye on Jason and teaching him something while they were away. If only they knew that we kept more than an eye on each other the past couple days. I gathered my bag from Jason's room and proceeded to leave. Of course it wasn't that simple. Anne gave me a hug, John and Lucas both shook my hand and Jason walked me outside.

I started walking towards my truck but Jason grabbed my arm and pulled me aside, out of view of the front of the house. He pushed me up against the wall and leaned in giving me a soft and tender kiss. He was just pulling away when I gently clamped down on his lower lip which brought him back for a few more seconds of the kiss." I just could not sit and watch you leave without thanking you for everything, both the past two days as well as since the night of the movie." Jason whispered.

"I was thinking as I was getting ready to leave that I wanted to kiss you goodbye too but thought it wouldn't happen. I'm glad you pulled me aside to say your special goodbye," I replied with my hands on his hips. "Give me a call or just come to my house when my parents are at work. But spend some time with your uncle, I don't want to monopolize your time while he is here."

Jason nodded his head and gave me another quick peck as we continued walking towards my truck. I got inside and started it up but stood outside my door to say goodbye and give Jason a wink and a smile. He returned the gesture and I got in and backed out of the driveway as we both waved to each other. The drive home was quick and I had a smile on my face the whole time; not just for the messing around but also because spending time with him just makes me content.

I arrived home around a quarter to seven and dropped my bag in my room before I went out to talk to my parents because I was sure they would want to know what we did. So I sat down and waited for the barrage of questions that never ended up coming. My mom did ask if I had fun but that was all that was asked. Dad excused himself to bed at about 7:45PM to do some reading and the phone rang just as he was leaving so mom answered the phone.

I didn't pay attention to the one-sided conversation but knew that it was Anne on the other end. Mom hung up and came back out and sat across from me. "Were you going to tell me about what Anne and I just talked about?"

"You mean Lucas being in town for two days and seeing if you wanted to get together to reminisce?"

"That and there is something else but we'll discuss that afterwards."

"Well, I didn't want to say anything if she didn't call but I also didn't want to say anything until it was just the two of us so I guess I had not decided which way to go with it," I said meekly. "Are you going to see them or did you come up with an excuse?"

"No, I am going to meet them tomorrow for brunch."

"What was the other thing?" I asked.

"Oh Anne was just passing on her thanks for not getting into trouble and for teaching Jason to cook something easy that was also very delicious and they all liked very much."

"Yea, I was going for something easy to remember. Even if he can't remember how to make the dinner, the pie was easy enough to replicate."

"Good boy. Goodnight, I am off to bed."

"Goodnight mom."

I went to bed and fell asleep quickly that night with pleasant thoughts as I dozed off and woke up with a raging boner. It was about 8AM so I grabbed a towel to hide my tenting shorts and went to take a shower and take care of business. As the steam filled the room, I got into the shower and leaned up against the wall and jerked my dick furiously. I put a couple drops of conditioner in my palm and really got my cock slick and went back to masturbating. I closed my eyes and let the images of me and Jason in the shower flood my mind. While my right hand was occupied with my cock, I slipped my left hand around behind me and pressed on my asshole imagining it was Jason's dick pressing against me. That thought threw me over the edge and I raised up on my toes and shot six ropes of this cum across the shower landing on the opposite wall. Once I had regained my balance I washed the cum off the wall and went about showering for the day.

As I was heading back to my room, my dad asked me if I wanted to go play nine holes while mom was at her brunch. I enjoyed golfing with my dad but didn't get to play as often as we would like so I jumped at the chance. Dad called to see if there was a tee time around 11AM and we were in luck. We each slowly got ready for our game while mom got ready for her thing.

Golfing isn't all that boring to play. When I was younger I really didn't care for it but I didn't have the patience for the slow paced game. My dad got me into a one week school when I was about 10 during the summer and I found out a couple other reasons for learning to enjoy the game. It feels good to give that little ball a good whack and watch it fly, whether it is towards the hole or in the direction of an object like a tree or perhaps a couple slow ladies playing ahead of you very slowly. It was good if you wanted to challenge yourself but it was also a good way for one person to do some good thinking alone or for two or more people to talk between shots; that's what I enjoyed about the game. So halfway down the fairway of the first hole my dad and I were in the cart when he started a conversation.

"So did you get a chance to meet Lucas before you came home the other night?"

"Yep," I said.

"Is he all girly and touchy feely?"

"Nope. Honestly, if you met him for the first time and didn't know he was gay you would think he was totally straight. He's like a little bit younger version of Robert Redford from The Horse Whisperer. I mean in looks and how he comes off, no earrings, rainbows or lisp." I laughed at the end.

"Why is he here?" my dad asked.

"He says he is here to pick up a horse out in the desert and take it back home with him. He followed John and Anne in his truck and horse trailer from up north."

After putting on the third green, we took a short water and piss break and let the foursome behind us play through. "Would you act or treat your brother Daniel differently if he were gay?" I asked daringly.

"He's not gay though," he replied.

"Let's say hypothetically he divorced his wife and came out. Would you turn your back on your brother?"

"No I would not. He is family and I would love him. I might not agree with his lifestyle choice but I wouldn't abandon him."

I just sat in the cart with a look of ponderance on my face, staring out into space.

"I may be conservative in my political stance, I may be an ordained minister with a masters in theology, I may be a pentecostal pastor, I look at homosexuality as a sin but marrying your mother has given me several blessings in life. You are the biggest blessing and one of the others is to learn to hate the sin but love the sinner. The Bible doesn't say those exact words, it just says in Matthew 7 'Judge not, lest ye be judged.' It is not for me to pass judgement, it is up to the Lord. Jesus showed and preached for compassion towards others. I can't pick and choose which parts of The Bible I want to abide by and which parts I can ignore."

"I've never heard you say something like that before."

"Few have, those few being people who have asked me directly." Dad continued, "Don't get offended son, as your father I get the feeling you asked me this because there is something or someone close to you that this line of conversation correlates to," he intentionally stopped to gauge a reaction and a reaction is what he got.

My chest heaved and my breathing labored with tears forming at the corners of my eyes I hung my head and quietly spoke, "I'm gay," the tears flowing, "I've known for about six years now." I lifted my head to look at him, "So here is where hypothetically goes out the window. Where do you stand now?"

Yes, a cliffhanger. One of a few I have planned. Is my dad sincere in his reasoning or does he back pedal when really confronted with my revelation?
