Author's Note: First of all... Thank you! to all you guys out there, young and old, who've sent me such positive email responses about my story! You have no idea how great it is to hear that you actually like it! Haha, it feels pretty good since this is the first time I've tried anything longer than a two-page short story for English class, and that was back in freshman year! A very SPECIAL THANKS to: Dick H., Kelly, Daryl T., and especially Nik and Jamie. You guys all rock! I'm sorry to say this, but due to how hectic my life has gotten I'm not sure when I'll be able to finish the next installment of Swimmer's Story. I've gotten a lot of anxious emails asking me what will happen... I know I left you in suspense, and I apologize for that. It seems like swimming, school, and homework are taking up all my waking hours. I wrote those first two chapters in the two days before I went back to school, and then I haven't had any time alone at my house since. I hope you can all forgive me. I really am enjoying writing of this story.... so I hope as much as you do that I can get back to it soon. Anyway, thanks for understanding, and thanks for sending me all your emails. Oh, and if you sent me an email that asked for a reply, and you never got one... can you forgive me for that, too?? All in all I've gotten well over two hundred emails about this story, and I've written maybe 20 or 30 replies. It's not that I hated your email or anything, it's just that I don't have the time. Hopefully there will be a lull in school work soon. And if not, there's always Christmas vacation, though I would hate to wait that long to keep writing. Anyway, thanks again for being patient. -Jake
