He felt Jacks tongue pressing on the outside of his lips so he opened up and let him in. Jacks tongue explored every inch of Matt's mouth. And then finally landed on Matt's tongue. He slowly circled his tongue around Matt's. They sat there and kissed, exploring eachothers mouths for about 10 minutes before Matt broke the kiss. "You need to stop before I get too excited." He said with a wink. Matt put the keys in the ignition and started to back out of the driveway.* "So, Jack, what kind of music do you like?" Matt inquired as they were headed down the street. "Well, country is my favorite, but I'm down for anything." "Country it is then." Matt said tuning the radio to the local country station. "Aww thanks Matt." Jack said grabbing his hand and giving it a squeeze. "No problem." He said with a grin, squeezing back. "So where do you wanna eat?" "I don't really care. It's up to you." Jack responded. "I'm kinda in the mood for Thai, sound good?" "Actually I've never eaten Thai; I'd love to try it though." "Thai it is." As the car pulled into the parking spot at the restaurant Matt leaned in for a quick kiss before opening the door and climbing out. Jack, still a little dazed by the kiss, sat there for a moment. `Man his kisses make me lightheaded. It's amazing!' He thought to himself. Before he could get his head straight, Matt had come around and opened the door for him. Jack, remembering the comment he made to Matt before about opening the door, didn't say anything. Instead he just climbed out and joined Matt as they walked inside the chic looking Thai restaurant. "Hello, welcome to Panda Bamboo. How many?" A pretty Asian lady inquired as they walked up to the desk. "Just two. Could we possibly get a booth in the back?" Matt said taking charge as Jack took in the scenery around him. "No problem, right this way." She said quickly grabbing two menus and walking through the doorway behind her. As they got to the booth she set a menu down on each side and let the boys get settled. "Can I start you off with something to drink?" "Uhm, can I just have a water please?" Jack asked very politely. "Make that two." Matt seconded. "Two waters coming right up. Tina will be your server tonight, enjoy your meal." "Thank you" The boys chorused together. "So, what do you usually get when you come here? What's good?" Jack asked opening the menu. "I usually get the Kaeng Phet Pet Yang." Matt said quickly, not even opening the menu. "What's that?" "It's roast duck in a curry sauce." "Ew, duck? Really?" "Yeah, it's delicious. But if you don't want anything exotic get the Yam Nua... spicy beef salad" He added after Jack shot him an annoyed look. "I'll take your word for it." Jack said with a smile. Just then the waitress returned with their drinks. "Good afternoon, my name is Tina and I'll be your server tonight. Have you decided on what you're going to get?" "Yes, I'm going to have the Kaeng Phet Pet Yang, and he'll have the Yam Nua." "Alright, anything else?" "That's it for right now, thanks." "Alright, your food will be out shortly." "Thank you, Tina." Matt said flashing her that famous smile. She looked like she was about to fall over. "You really shouldn't do that to people, Matt." Jack said after she walked away. "Do what?" "Dazzle them with your smile like that." "Do I dazzle you?" "Way to quote Twilight, and yes. Frequently." "Good. Makes it easier for you to fall for me." "Who says I wanna fall for you?" Jack said with a sly grin "Me." "Speaking of that, on the bus this morning, Gretchen told me not to waste my time with you, that you were one of the straightest straight guys in school. What's up with that?" Jack cocked his head to the side as if confused waiting for an answer. "Oh. Right. Well, I'm not out, so I have to keep up appearances around school. Like I dated this girl, and well, let's just say I did what I had to do to keep people from knowing I'm gay." "Oh. Well, why don't you want people to know?" "Because I'm the star swimmer on the team. If the team found out I'd be ruined." "Oh." "But don't worry. If things work out between you and me, I'm not going to hide it. It's just that before now I never had a boyfriend, and I didn't want people to know, not until I had somebody I knew I could rely on to get me through the hard stuff." "Well, I'm here for you Matt. I already care for you, and I'm pretty sure that you're special enough that we could have something really good together." "Oh really? Who says I want something really good with you?" Matt quoted Jack's previous statement. "Me." Jack said, causing both of them to laugh. "I like you Jack." "I like you too, Matt." He responded quickly, causing Matt to flash that grin. "Ahh! My eyes! I think I'm blind!" Jack joked. "Oh, so you're a comedian eh?" "I try." "Well I find you funny, so you succeed in my eyes." "Thanks," Jack said blushing. "Now that you've gotten your one question out of me for the night, I have one for you." "Okay, shoot." "How come everything with you and your mom is white? White house, white furniture, white car, white phone, white pencils, what's up with that?" "Uhm, can I take a rain check on that question? I really don't want to talk about it right now." "Sure, Hun. But don't you think I'm going to forget it." Matt said with a chuckle. "I'll hold you to that." Just then their food arrived, and the boys got busy eating and there wasn't much talking going on. After they had both completely drained their plates of food, they leaned back in the booth stretching their stomachs. "Oh wow, I'm stuffed." Jack said. "That was amazing. I have to come here more often." "Yeah, this is my spot. You have room for dessert?" "Not really, can I take a rain check on that too?" "Yes you can. Because I'm stuffed too." Matt said while raising his hand to signal to Tina that they were ready for the check. "Can I get you guys anything else tonight?" She asked, walking over to the table. "No, I think we're good. Just the check please." Matt responded. "Here you go, just bring it up to the counter when you're ready." "Thanks." Tina turned and left, and Matt opened the leather booklet to look at the receipt. "How much do I owe you?" Jack asked. "Nothing, tonight's on me cutie." "No I couldn't." "You can, and you will." "No. Matt, it's too much." "No it's not, trust me." "Ugh, fine. But next time I'm paying." "Good." "Good?" "That means there will be a next time." Matt said causing Jack to smile. "I love your smile. You're so cute." "Hey, mines nothing compared to yours. You ready?" "I guess so." Matt sidled out of the booth and walked towards the doorway where they had come in. By the time Jack had gotten out of his seat to follow him, Matt had disappeared through the door and was already paying for the dinner when Jack caught up. "Let's go." Matt said as Jack walked up behind him. They walked out to the car, and climbed inside. "Now what do you wanna do?" "Well, I told my mom I'd be home, so do you mind bringing me home?" "Yeah sure." The pair sat in silence on the way home, listening to the radio, and before Jack knew it they were sitting in his driveway again. "So, I guess this is goodnight." He said a little sadly. "Yeah, but I'll see you on the bus in the morning." "You're not driving?" "Nah, my mom doesn't trust me driving when I'm tired, so she has me take the bus in the morning, and brings my car to me during the day." "Ohh, okay. Well goodnight then." Jack said reaching for the door handle. "What, I buy you dinner and I don't even get a goodnight kiss?" "Well," Jack pretended to think it over. "If you insist." He said jokingly. He leaned in and gave Matt a quick teasing peck on the lips. "That's it?" "Yup. For now." Jack tossed him a wink and then opened the door, and climbed out of the car. He walked up to his front door, realizing he left his keys, again, and rang the doorbell. Just then, though, Matt whipped him around and said, "You didn't really think you were going to get away with that, did you?" "Not for a second." The two embraced and shared a passionate kiss, much similar to the one that started the date. It would have lasted a lot longer if Jack's mom didn't open the door right then to see the two all over eachother. Jack turned at the sound of the door opening. "Oh, hi mom!" His face turning bright red. He turned back to Matt, "Goodnight." And walked into the house. Thanks again you guys for reading. Feedback is always appreciated, as long as questions or ideas.
