Police Line had been put around the entrance to the boy's bathroom. A man with golden-red hair and neat sunglasses on was standing with his hands on his hips at the scene, wearing all black. He looked like he was in charge. With him looked like his team; a friendly-looking woman with yellow hair, a woman with a shiny button-shirt with light brown hair, a hot Cuban dude with a nice blue t-shirt on, & a tall, bald patrol officer. I wouldn't want to mess with him if I was on his bad side. If these CSI's of Miami were investigating Jamie's attack, then I definitely hoped they would find something. "Tanner!" I turned around to see my friend Todd coming towards me. "Hey" I said. "Hey, what happened here?" "You know Jamie Mcara?" "Yeah." "I found him beat up like a damn punching bag in there yesterday. I guess now the cops are looking for who did it & why." "Wow, that sucks" said Todd. "Wait, if you're the one who found him, shouldn't you go say something to them? It could help them out, maybe." "I guess" I said. "Ok, you go do that, I'll meet you in English. See ya." "Later" I replied, walking towards the bathroom door. As I walked under the police line, I walked up to the man with sunglasses on. "Um, sir?" "Yes, can I help you?" he asked me. "Um, I'm Tanner Rade." "Well Tanner, what can I do for you?" he responded coolly as he took off his sunglasses. "Well, I'm the one who found Jamie Mcara in the bathroom stall yesterday" I said. "Tanner, I'm sure that Jamie is grateful that you showed up" he told me. The feeling I got when he told me someone was grateful made me feel nice inside. "Thanks. Well, um, if theres anything I can do to help, I'd be glad to" I said. "Actually, there is, do you remember anything about what you saw?" he asked. "Well, I walked into the bathroom & I heard someone sobbing. The I opened the stall door right there & I just saw Jamie tied up." "So the stall door was closed?" "Yeah." "Ok" he said, looking off to the side. "Does that help?" I said, hoping it would. "You know what Tanner? It just might" he said, walking into the bathroom. Two days later, I had heard that Jamie had returned home, but still needed to stay in bed because of his injuries. I was at least glad he was home, now that I could visit him & not always waiting for visitors' hours to start. About a week later, my dream boy had returned to school. He was a staggered a little from not walking in a while, but after a while, he got the hand of it. I was dieing to go over to his house. I was still wondering what would happen...
