Date: Sat, 24 Aug 2002 23:00:37 -0400 From: -crewboi- SWP Subject: Trials of Today OK, this story has been sitting on my hard drive for a month or two, never finished, but I did put quite a lot of time into it and I think that you guys/gals might like it. If you read this, and want to see a more definitive conclusion, just email me. If enough people want more, then you'll all get it. Happy reading! ------------------------------------------ "See a pin and pick it up, All the day you'll have good luck. See a pin and let it lay, Bad luck you'll have all the day." Dave closed the book of nursery rhymes. "Can you read another one?" pleaded Jack. "No," replied Dave. "It's time for you to go to bed. Maybe the next time I'm over, we'll read more rhymes. But now it's time for bed. Your Mom said to put you in bed by 8:30. Let's go. I'll tuck you in champ." Dave Rimier started babysitting for his neighbor a few years ago, when he was short on cash. But he liked the job so much, he stuck to it, made more money, and really enjoyed the job. But now he was older, 16, birthday soon on June 30th, he was started to resent the job more and more. Jack was six now, a far cry from the rambunctious 4 year old he had been. Oh well, Dave thought, at least he got cash to use when he hung out with his friends. Speaking of friends, Dave had this-- The doorbell rang, and along with it came the voice of Michelle, Jack's single Mom. "Oh, jeez, I'm sorry I'm late, the traffic was bad coming home. Always is on a Tuesday though. Here's your money, and a little extra for staying late. You better go home now, so your Mom isn't worried." "Ok", Dave replied in a single word. His Mom really didn't care about Dave or what he did by himself or with his friends, all she cared about was the new baby in Friends, or the latest happenings in Days of Our Lives. She was an obese woman, and Dave openly insulted her behind her back when he was hanging with his friends. As he passed a streetlight he watched his shadow shrink, and then lengthen. Jeez, he thought to himself, I still have a ton of homework. He got to his house, rounded it, and opened the back door. Or, he tried to, but it was locked. Sometimes his Mom got paranoid and locked all the doors of the house. "Those sitcoms," Dave muttered to himself. Making her delusional about how the real world works, he finished in his mind. He went to the front of the house, rang the doorbell, and waited several moments, before he heard the "click" of the door lock disengaging. The door opened, and his Mom stood there, in her nightgown, looking up at him. He was 6'2", and weighed 185 pounds, most of it muscle. She was far shorter, a measly 5'2", and about twice his weight. "Dave," she started, but he cut her off. "Yes, Mom, I'm sorry I'm late but Michelle got home from her job late and I had to stay a bit longer." "A bit?!" His mother glared at him. "You're two hours late!" Crap, I musta zoned out, Dave thought, but the words he said were different. "It won't happen again Mom." "Forget it, I don't want you babysitting anymore if you don't know when you'll be home. I'll call Michelle tomorrow and tell her." "Awwww, Mom..." "Shut up and go to bed. Be happy you get to keep the extra money you earned." What the fuck, Dave wondered as he headed up to his room to get changed. She's not usually like this. She musta seen something on TV that scared her. "Do you know where your children are?" Dave said to himself with a smile. He got to his room and pulled off his shirt. He tossed it on the floor and fumbled for the light switch. His jaw dropped when he found it and flicked it. His room was a total mess, his drawers emptied, his mattress skewed, his books and papers scattered about. Oh fuck, she's really lost it now, he thought as he rapidly thought if there was anything bad she could find. He didn't do drugs, and he was smarter than to keep his porno in a place as obvious as his room. "Fuck"; the first word that came out of his mouth when he remembered his diary. He wrote in his diary daily, telling it what had happened to him, about any hot guys he say, about things he did with his friends. Not to mention the fantasies he wrote down. He would die if his Mom saw what he wanted to do with other guys. He rushed over to his bookshelf but couldn't see it. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap. He looked on the floor, and then he saw his bible. He opened it, and sure enough, his handwriting stared back at him. His friend gave him the idea a few years back that he should put his bible book jacket on his diary. "Hey, your Dad would never think of looking there," his friend had said. Those were the days when he only had to worry about his Dad finding out about him, but tonight, he knew he had to worry about his Mom too. "DAVID! TURN OFF THE LIGHT AND GO TO SLEEP!" "OK MOM," Dave shouted back in his nice deep voice. He knew better than to ask why she screwed up his room, or even to ask if it was her. She seemed rather unstable, and he didn't want to push her. He took off his white socks, or supposedly white, as if they ever are. Cargo shorts came off too, leaving him in a pair of lightly checkered blue briefs. He gave his face a quick wipe with some astringent, not because he had acne, but just because he never wanted it. He pulled open his cover, lied down, and jerked it. Number one stress reliever, he knew. The birds tweeted, and the sunlight filtered through his windows. The room was tranquil as anything, that is, until Dave's alarm clock went off, blaringly loud. It's incredibly annoying cheap electronic "bleeping" did a good job of rousing Dave. He got up, and headed towards the shower. He closed the bathroom door and locked it (he always did, he was paranoid like his Mom sometimes, but not nearly as much as her). He pulled off his now soiled boxers, tossed them in the hamper, turned on the shower, jumped in, and started to wash himself. He was still not awake enough to remember much of anything, including his homework, his Mom troubles, or his messy room. He mind was still really foggy. He ran his hands through his dark brown hair, which was about an inch long. He grabbed the shampoo bottle, dumped some into his hand, and worked it into his hair. Still light hearted from his sleep, he started to sing the theme from the "Herbal Essence" commercials. "I got the URGE to Herbal!" he "sung" to himself, with his not quite suited to singing voice. Done with that, he got the bar of soap, lathered up, and wiped the suds on his chest, face, and where ever else. Shit, I gotta shave, he thought after running his hands across his face. He didn't quite shave once a day, but he was getting there. He wasn't used to it yet though and often forgot to shave for a few days in a row before being made fun of by his friends for his shadow. All nice and clean, he wrapped a towel around his waist, walked back into his room to get changed, saw the mess and remembered everything. He swore loudly. He knew he couldn't do anything now, so he got dressed. As he threw on a tight Abercrombie and Fitch tee, he had a strange feeling that something life changing would happen to him today. He threw on a nice pair of Cargo shorts, grabbed a pop tart and his book bag, and started his walk to school, not a long one. He saw his Dad pull into the driveway as he was leaving. Ever since his Dad lost his job at that computer place, things were weird. The only job his Dad could get was a night shift, and because of that, Dave never saw his old man. His Dad just left his life, almost as if he died. He was nearing the school now and heard the shouts of the guys practicing in the field behind the school. Usually, he would find his best friend Jeff, and sit with him on the bleachers, looking at the athletes, while pretending to be there just talking to Jeff. Jeff never caught onto what Dave was doing. That was for the best. But not this morning. He rushed to his locker picked up some stuff, sat down and leaned against the wall of the hallway, and worked like hell to do his homework. He was just finishing his math homework when he got that feeling he was being watched. He looked up and to his left, and then Dave saw him. Dave never knew whether "he" was actually looking at him or not, maybe he looked up because of fate. About him: he was 17ish, with dirty blonde hair, gelled into pseudo spikes, about an inch long, quite like Dave's own hair. Tee was tight, though not as tight as Dave's, it was light gray-- The bell rang. Dave jumped up and rushed to his first period class. His teacher, Ms. Schroyer, was always boring as hell. She was supposed to teach English, but all she did was assign stuff to read. Never quizzed the kids, or talked to them about works of literature. Dave just spent the period allowing his mind to wander. The weekend was coming up, and he wanted to hang with his friends, maybe go see that new Star Wars movie with them. He'd hafta talk to Jeff about that. And then he remembered his mystery man. When Dave saw the guy in the hallway, he knew that he would like him. Dave believed that it was love at first sight, and hoped to death that it wasn't unrequited love. Hmmmm, somehow he would have to find out the guy's name and number. But how... "Dave." He looked up. Mr. Kaczala, his Math teacher was standing by his desk. "Where's your homework?" "Uh, lemme get it," Dave replied. Holy crap, how the hell did I get to Math class, he wondered to himself. He got out the homework he did earlier that morning and handed it to the teacher. "Don't drift again, or I'll send you to the office, you got it?" "Yeah, sorry." Dave knew what had happened, he'd just been so involved with his thoughts that his brain decided it wasn't important to remember what else he was doing. The math teacher droned on for another half an hour, before the bell rang. Chem. was next; he got to the Chem. lab, and sat down. The room was always cold. The teacher was an old bitch who hated everyone. Probably another way of annoying her students. Dave pulled out his homework, and just as the bell rang, the guy from the hallway walked in. Bitch told him to find an empty seat for the time being. Dave looked around, hoping that the empty spot next to him was the only available one. It wasn't; there were two more, each surrounded by hot girls. He walked over to the chair next to Dave and sat down. "Yo, my name's Scott, nice to meet you." Dave stared in disbelief. Scott had just come in, sat down next to him, and introduced himself. This is definitely gonna be a good day, he thought to himself. "Are you there?" Scott questioned Dave. Dave had drifted for a few seconds while the shock of Scott talking to him wore off. "Oh, yeah, I'm Dave, nice to meet ya. So you're new here?" "Yeah I am." "That's awesome!" "I don't know anyone here, all my old friends live too far away. The only way I ever get to talk to them is by Instant Messenger." Holy crap, Dave thought. He's begging me to ask for his Screen Name. "What's your SN?" he inquired. "Haha, you've known me for a minute and you're already trying to get my contact info. What are you, gay?" Another laugh. And with that, Bitch started lecturing. She went on for quite awhile, blathering on about the finals. It was early June after all, and the finals were only a few weeks away. The annoying bell rang, and Dave picked up his stuff. "Catch ya later, Dave." He raised his hand for a high five. Dave stuck his hand out and received it. But he felt a small piece of paper being left in his hand. He knew what it was without having to look. But still, he just had to look at it. As he was walking down the hallway to the locker rooms, he pulled out the paper, and unfolded it. The SN and a phone number were written on it in nice, neat block handwriting, red ink. Red for danger or red for hot passion? Dave wondered as he entered the locker room. As Dave walked through the door, he immediately smelled the sweat in the air, the raging hormones, and the flying pheromones. This was like his personal heaven. He loved that smell that guys got from physical exertion. Now it was June, it was a powerful scent. He sighed contently to himself as he saw the guys around him pulling off their shirts and shorts, leaving nothing but boxers or briefs. "Boxers or briefs, that is the question," he said under his breath. Of course he couldn't stare at the other guys, they might catch on to him. But he did glance up often enough to get a good feeling for the guys around him. He pulled off his sneakers, then shorts and Abercrombie tee, and stuffed them all into his sports locker. He pulled out some normal gym clothes, threw them on, and headed towards the weight room. Most of the time he just worked out without paying attention to everyone, but his hormones were going crazy recently, and he really couldn't help himself from stopping every five minutes to watch the other guys work out, their muscles flexing as they lifted weights. He worked out on and off for the rest off gym, breaking out in a sweat near the end. "Damn, it's humid," he told a guy as they were returning to the locker room. He got back to heaven, and peeled off his sweaty gym tee, allowing his body to be exposed to the air. It felt better, but not much so more, because, it was just as hot as hell anyway. He heard the showers turn on as other guys cleaned themselves. Dave never did, not because he enjoyed being sweaty, but because the first and only time he did shower he saw the other guys naked, with water streaming over their toned bodies, and it sent him into an instant hard-on. He learned not to ever go in there again, or even glance in that direction. Being as Gym was his last class of the day, he got packed, and left the school, embarking on his short walk home. Even though it wasn't far, it still felt as if it was taking forever. Dave just wanted to get to his computer and talk to Scott on the internet as soon as possible. He ran the last quarter mile, heart pounding with anticipation as he burst through the front door. He threw down his book bag and rushed into the den, where the computer was. But as soon as it came into sight, all his hope left him. By the side of the computer, he saw a software box for CyberSitter, one of those new programs that tracks everything kids do on the net, and remembers everything they type. I fucking hate my Mom, fucking hate her, Dave muttered, but wanted to scream. He pulled out the paper and wanted to rip it to pieces. He opened it one last time, and saw the telephone number. This was definitely his lucky day. What were the chances of Scott leaving the phone number even when Dave didn't ask for it? Dave heard his Mom coming downstairs. He sauntered over to the telephone, trying to look unobvious. It worked. His Mom just passed by and went into the den to watch some TV. She turned it on, set the volume to low, and plopped herself on the couch. Everything had to be quiet, because his Dad had to sleep during the days. It was a pain, but he got used to it. Dave picked up the cordless, dialed Scott's number, and waited while the phone at the other end rang. One ring. Two rings. Three rings. Four rings. On the fifth ring, he heard a click as it was picked up. "Is Scott there?" A really deep gruff voice, "Yeah." Muffled, "SCOTT! GET DOWN HERE! PHONE!" "OK DAD!" A pause. "Hello?" The voice was inquisitive. Dave's voice got stuck in his throat. He couldn't say a word. Oh crap, he remarked to himself. "Is anyone there? Dave? Is that you?" "Uh...yeah," he said in an extremely quiet voice. "Hey, man, what's up?" "Nothing much. My Mom put some babysitting thing on the computer so I can't chat anymore on it, or look at pictures or anything. It really blows." "Awww, it's ok. My Mom wants me to get new friends instead of dwelling on the ones I don't have anymore, so I was kinda of wondering if..." Dave's heart was racing a million miles an hour. His life had just gone from crap to caviar. "...well, you know.....I was wondering if you wanted to go see the new Star Wars movie. Afterwards we could hang at my place and just talk and stuff, you know?" Fuck yeah, Dave thought to himself. This is definitely the greatest day of my life. He carried the cordless to a chair and sat down on the edge, rather unnerved by all that was happening. He remembered Scott on the other end of the line. "Yeah, sure thing Scott, I'd really like to hang with you." "That's cool. Pick you up Saturday, at 7?" "That's fine." Dave didn't have to worry about it interfering with his babysitting schedule now he couldn't do it. As long as he got home from the movie before 12, his Mom might be OK, there was no school the next day, after all. "Directions?" "Oh yeah." Dave gave Scott directions. "You drive?" "Yup, turned 17 in April," was Scott's casual reply. "You?" "Sixteen, 17 in a few weeks though." "That's cool." A tense silence. "So what music you like?" It was Scott who broke it. The rest of the conversation was just idle chit chat, the two guys getting to know each other. An hour passed, then two. "DAVID!" A call from his mother. "Sorry Scott, I hafta go, I'll catch ya at school tomorrow, ok?" "No problem. It's been real. Nice meeting you." "Ditto." "DAVID!" This time it was louder, more irritating. He hung up and rushed down to his Mom to find her where he'd left her in the den. "What Mom?" "You have to make dinner now." "What do you want?" "Spaghetti and meatballs. I want to be eating in half an hour." "Yes, Mom." This new regiment was going to take some getting used to. The next day, before school, Dave saw Scott in the hallway next to his locker. "I remember seeing you here yesterday, so I thought I'd wait for you here to give you something," Scott started the conversation. "You got something for me? What?" Dave's eyebrow's lifted at the suggestion of a gift. Scott leaned over and brushed lips with Dave. Dave knew he had died and gone to heaven. The moment last both an infinitely short time and an infinitely long time. Dave felt the warmth of Scott's lips. He wanted more. He went for it. "Hey," Scott said, moving his hand to stop Dave. "Remember where you are?" Dave glanced around. He had indeed truly forgotten where he was. He was standing in the hallway, trying to kiss a guy, when anyone could walk by and see them. "Oh, sorry" was his embarrassed reply. "No problem, just don't try again." "Ok." Chem. came and neither guy could stand having to be apart for so long. Dave knew what he had to do if he wanted to have another encounter with Scott before the day was over. He raised his hand slowly. "Mrs. Richmond, can I go to the bathroom?" "Hurry up, you will get the notes you miss from a friend. If you are too slow, I'll report it as a cut." "Yes bitch," he said under his breath. He glanced over at Scott and made an imperceptibly small nod towards the door. He left. "Oh, Mrs. Richmond, I need to go to the bathroom too," he told her. "You'll have to wait," she said in her bitchy tone. "I mean, I HAVE TO GO NOW," he said stressing all the words. "Hurry up." "Thank you so much," he half-shouted running out the door after Scott. He looked down the hall and saw Scott entering the bathroom door. He ran down the hallway, opened the door, and went in. Scott was in there, waiting for him. Dave just fell into Scott, leaning in, his breath caressing Scott's cheek as he spoke. "I've always wanted you, since the day I met you. You stirred up something in me that no one ever has.......I think......I think I'm in love with you." He leaned even farther forward, and gently grazed Scott's lips. "I...I'm sorry,.....I shouldn't have...." His words died out as he looked at Scott, but Scott's face showed Dave something he had never seen before. What he saw in the beautiful aqua eyes of Scott was love, pure and simple. "It's alright. To tell you the truth, I've felt the same way about you too. And I think it's time we do something about it." Scott pulled Dave in closer and kissed him harder, and with more passion then Dave had ever felt. Slowly they began the rhythmic movements of caressing each other. They clung tightly to each other's back as if letting go meant the whole world was to crash around them. Ever so slowly, one tongue pushed it's way through the other's teeth and began massaging the second tongue. Finally, both began a sort of dance, darting this way and that, exploring every region to make sure it would be remembered, breathing only when necessary, and when it was, breathing in the other's breath. Finally, the dance wound down, the exploration completed, and reluctantly, each retreated to his own world, and they sat there gazing into the distance, watching until every moment was stored away in their memories...and their hearts. Finally, Dave spoke. "We better get back soon....." Slowly, he released his grip from Scott and turned to return to the classroom. Just as he was opening the door, he heard Scott cry out "Wait," He swiftly pivoted and faced Scott yet again. Scott walked up to Dave and embraced him one last time. "That was wonderful....you are wonderful....I...I wish this could last forever..." The rest of Scott's words were smothered by a short but sweet peck on the lips. "We'll talk about it later....." Dave whispered. The bell rang, shattering the feeling in the air. "OH CRAP" was all Dave could say. He knew the punishment for cutting the rest of the class, especially harsh because it was Mrs. Richmond. The two soon-to-be lovers burst out of the bathroom and ran full speed back to the classroom, unconsciously holding hands the entire way there. The rest of the day passed so slowly for the two guys. Obviously, they both could think of only one thing, each other. During gym, Dave almost got whacked in the head with a Frisbee. The reason he didn't get hit was because he tripped while his head was in the clouds. Just as embarrassing as being hit in the head. The gym teacher called out to him to see if he was alright, but his thoughts had already returned to you-know-who, and he blocked out any incoming aural or visual signals. "Scott, Scott, Scott..." he muttered to himself. So he knew Scott liked him, and that he really liked Scott too. But how was he supposed to act on it? For one thing, Scott probably would make the first move, but even if he didn't, anything Dave did would be welcome. But what to do? Invite him to his house? Naw, his Mom was there, and with the way she's been acting lately...Maybe they could walk together after school, but he could really spring on Scott, it was too public, those sidewalks. He liked the walking idea though. There's some woods close to school, they could probably dash of pretty soon after school, yeah, and-- "RIMIER!" The extremely deep, booming voice of Mr. Finnigan reverberated over the field. Dave looked up at his coach, looked around, saw no one, and started to jog to the lockers. Lost track of time, thank God that gym was his last class. Then it was to Michelle's to look after her kids while she did her stuff--but I don't do that now, he had to remind himself. So he would go home, and...homework? No way, he had to have something to do. He could only think of one thing for him at home that he wanted to do and was allowed to, and that was his diary. He usually wrote it before bed, sometimes he forgot, but for the most part he was good at remembering. Why screw up his routine and do it early? Why go home at all? He was sure that-- The locker room door slammed open. There stood Viktor Heird, the token guy who had a flock of girls around him at all times. His neck was thick, his jaw square, five o'clock shadow enhancing his masculinity. Dave glanced at his watch. He'd been so late getting to the locker room after gym, that the wrestling team was already here, getting changed. Dave knew what he wanted to do. There wasn't much time left in the school year, and the wrestling coach wanted just a few more practices out of the boys before school broke up. Viktor pulled off his shirt. Dave didn't really like Viktor's body that much. If you asked him, it was overly built, the muscles were too large, his individual chest muscles too pronounced. But hey, Dave was not about to give up on a free show. He looked at his shoes, hopelessly tied in a huge knot. It would take quite awhile to untie, maybe long enough to see all that there was going to be to see. Viktor faced away from Dave, twisting his combo lock so he could get at his gym supplies. No one else was coming in; Viktor was about five minutes early. Five minutes of just Viktor, and little chance of being caught, Dave happily thought to himself. And hey, it could be worse, a large guy from his grade popping into Dave's mind. The locker was open, Viktor reached for something at the top, stretching to reach it. Even though he had a thick, hard body, he wasn't that tall, just an average 5'9". But seeing him stretch, his male body showing how well shaped it was, it gave Dave what he never wanted in the locker room. Viktor's entire body was shaved, from what Dave could see. Legs were smooth, as was underarms. He didn't particularly like shaved bodies, they lost some of that masculinity he liked so much. He didn't like large amounts of body hair, but at least some underarm and leg hair would be nice. Viktor had stopped stretching; he had gotten whatever it was he wanted. He turned around, and Dave saw his front, and imagined Viktor working out 24/7. If he didn't watch it, he might become one of those grotesque body-builders, Dave commented to himself. Viktor was still looking in his direction. Dave dared to look up at Viktor, and as soon as he did, he realized that Viktor was looking at him, staring into his eyes, the eyes he wanted only Scott to look into. Crap, Scott, incredible as it may seem, he had forgotten about Scott during his newest bout of voyeurism. So that's what he could have done after-- "Rimier." Dave refocused on reality. "Hey." Another call aimed at him. From Viktor. He looked at Viktor, and made eye contact. Viktor's stare was cold, uncaring. "So you like the way I look without clothes on, do you?" Dave wasn't about to say how he really felt. "Er...yeah..." His voiced came out in a whisper. "What's that?" A new boost of confidence arose in Dave. If he was gonna ask out Scott, then he needed to be able to talk with confidence to a stranger asking him a simple question. "Hell yeah I do." His reply was full of vigor, showing his eagerness in his tone. Viktor gave him a crooked smile, his lips curled, his gaze still cold. He unbuckled his leather belt holding up his faded pair of denim shorts. The fly unzipped, he let go. The belt made an incredibly loud noise that echoed through the empty locker room as the metal buckled whacked against the floor. This is incredible, Dave thought. How much of a better view could you ask for? He never really had the opportunity before to really study Viktor's body. Arms were iron, veins bulging, even the fingers thick. Dave rolled his eyes over the tanned body again and again. Dave could see Viktor's abs, and how they seemed to taper off somewhere beneath the light blue boxers, the fly unbuttoned. Legs were strong, thick, like every other part of Viktor, excellent for running. They looked incredibly powerful to Dave,. His thighs were hairless too, but toned to perfection. Anymore work would be overkill. Dave guessed Viktor didn't spend as much time working out his legs, as everything else was overkill. The tent in Dave's pants was very obvious, and Dave knew it, and so did Viktor. "Your turn," Viktor said to Dave, his eyes still cold, mouth still in its evil smile. But Dave was way too caught up the situation to notice Viktor's face, which was arguably the worst looking part of him. Dave stood up to his full height. Up until now, he had been kneeling, from when he was pretending to tie his shoe. His cock was at a right angle from the rest of his body, totally hard, standing at its full 7 inches. He pulled off his shirt, he had only put it on a few minutes ago. Viktor nodded approvingly. Dave knew he looked good without a shirt, he had jerked it so many times in front of the bathroom mirror, he knew the exact contours of his body. He pulled off his shoes and socks, slowly to be dramatic. Viktor didn't like the slow down. Dave noticed and sped up. Unbuckled his cargo shorts, released his hands to drop-- Loud footsteps told them both that someone was approaching. Not fast, but they would be in the locker room within 30 seconds. Both guys made a mad dash to throw on as much clothing as possible in the short amount of time they had available. Dave was done first, and walked by Viktor just as Crew, the wrestling team captain walked in. "Finish this latter?" Viktor asked Dave as he passed. Dave paused, and turned around to face Viktor. "Hell yeah," he replied, mimicking the tone of voice he had used earlier. "OK then, I'll make you a deal. I'll give you these--" he held up a pair of bowers for Dave to see (that's what he had been getting earlier from the top of his locker), "--and you give me a pair of yours with the same treatment. OK?" Not really knowing what Viktor meant by "treatment", but then again, not wanting to ask because of Crew's presence in the room, he agreed. Viktor grinned, a genuine one this time, and waved Dave off. Dave was thinking so much about what had just happened that Scott was once again not on his mind. He walked home on auto-pilot, not really thinking of where he was going or why, and just thought about Viktor. He was surprised when he found the front door in front of him. He yelled, "Hey Mom!" and was up to his room, pulling out the boxers from his backpack. It took him less than half a second to figure out what Viktor meant. There was a massive cum stain near the crotch. He brought the boxers up to his noise, and inhaled deeply, taking as much of Viktor's masculine scent into his nose as he possibly could. Cum, another guy's fucking cum, was so fucking close to his face. He was so horny, that he popped open his pants, and whacked it until there was his own cum all over his chest. It didn't take long, because his dick was already lubed up with enough pre-cum to serve him for centuries. He pulled off his own boxers, wiped up the mess with them and threw them into his backpack to give to Viktor the next day. So there he was, standing in his room, Viktor's cum-stained boxers over his head, no pants or boxers on, cock glistening with a mixture of spit and pre-cum, when his Mom opened the door to remind him that it was trash night. The silence made Dave wish he had a knife nearby to stab himself. But both just stood there for an eternity, doing nothing. At last, it was his mother who broke the silence. "Get dressed. It's garbage night. I want Tuna Casserole for dinner." She left. That was it. Talk about unexpected. In the last few days, Dave's life had gone from organized, straightforward, predictable to a mix of disorientation, adventure, and so unpredictable even Ms. Cleo would have trouble unraveling it. Just last week, his mother trusted him, he had no special some one, and his life was bland. But now he had met everything he wanted in Scott, knowing that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. But then, even more amazing, was the introduction of Viktor into his life. Dave really didn't know what to do. He wasn't about to give up the opportunity he had in Viktor, but then again he wanted Scott too. Dave wrote this and more in his diary that night, Viktor's boxers never more than a few feet for him, perhaps to give him some inspiration. He finished writing, hid the diary in the secret place, and jumped into bed, because he was already undressed. Morning came quickly, school flew by. The only memory he had of the day was asking Scott if he wanted to hang out after school. The answer came quickly and was what Dave wanted to hear. Viktor caught Dave's eye a few times in the hallways, each time Dave just smiled and nodded in acknowledgement. Viktor got the message. Gym came and went, and Dave hurried to get changed fast so Scott wouldn't have to wait long. Even so, he wanted to wait for Viktor, he still owed him a pair of boxers. Viktor came sooner than yesterday. He arrived only two minutes after the final bell for school rang. Viktor walked straight up to him, kissed his neck, and stared into Dave's eyes. He looked at Dave, but this time Dave couldn't avoid seeing the icicles that Viktor was shooting at him. He looked away, got the boxers, thrust them into Viktor's hands. Viktor gave Dave a piece of paper, a yellow post-it note. "Sorry, I gotta jet," Dave explained to Viktor as he got a disapproving glare as he tried to leave the room. "Oh, ok..." He sounded dejected. "It's not personal, I just got other plans. Maybe this weekend we could do something." "Ok, man, maybe we could work out." "Uhh, sure." A skeptical reply, Dave knew he didn't want to work out with Viktor, of all people. He left the locker room, and ran halfway across the school to Scott's locker. As soon as he entered Scott's line-of-sight, he saw Scott's face brighten. "I thought you might've ditched me." "Hey! I'd never do that to you, of all people. Anyway, sorry for making you wait. You got your stuff?" "I've been ready for ages." "Ok, let's go." They left through the front door of the school, and turned once they hit the sidewalk. They walked in silence for about ten seconds before Scott grabbed Dave's hand. Dave quickly looked around, but saw that no one was in sight. He tightened his grip; he did not want the link to break. It was a great feeling, Dave could feel little sparks on hand where Scott was touching him, just touching Scott made him more relaxed, made him feel better, made him-- "So, are you still coming with me to see that movie?" Dave had to think a second before he remembered he'd said yes when Scott asked him if he wanted to got o the movies. When was that, Wednesday? At any rate, it was Friday, and they were supposed to go tomorrow. "Well?" "How we gonna get there again?" Dave asked, not sure if they already went over it. "I'm gonna drive, my Mom said I could borrow her car, as long as I don't total it." "You're so lucky, my Mom hates me." "Too bad. What's up with you two?" As Dave didn't know what was happening with his Mom, the explanation was short. "Ahhh, that's too bad. And you have no idea why she changed so suddenly?" "Nope, I'm blank." "Well, I hope it clears up. Remember, I'll be at your place at 7." "Yeah, see you then." They talked some more, and with a parting hug, Dave entered his house. He looked into the den, looking for his Mom, just to tell her he'd be out Saturday night. She was there, watching a corny soap. Dave was just about to open his mouth when he saw the screen. Steve and Joey, two of the characters, were in a deep embrace. His mother spat at the screen. "Homosexual perverts," she said matter-of-factly. Dave shook his head, and left without telling her. He had nothing to do at home that night. Since it was Friday, they were going to have take out pizza, and there was no homework to be done. Dave jammed his hands into his pockets when he felt the yellow post-it note. He pulled it out, unfolded it. A number. Four words. "Call if you care." Dave called.
