Fup ****************************************************************************** FROM CHAPTER 23 Lynn grinned, then went back to her room, leaving David with his mom. "I'm going to send you two away alone together sometime. MAKE you get along with each other," she said. "Ugh," was David's only response. His mom sighed, then walked toward the living room, "One of these days, you two are going to have to get along." David grimaced at his mom's back at the thought. Then he turned and made his own way to his room, once again picking up a book to escape. UNDER PRESSURE/HIGH SCHOOL 24 - Weekend Plans "But we don't think Lynn is responsible enough to do it," David's mom stated the next morning. David sat at the kitchen counter, still about half asleep. His mom had woken him up before she left for work, to tell him about what Mrs. Murray had wanted. So, here he sat, eyes half-closed, listening to his mother explain to him a decision that really - he thought, didn't need an explanation. He just wanted to go back to bed. "Are you listening, David?" "Ummm, yeah, sorry, it's early," David mumbled. "David, it's 7:15, in a week and a half you'll have to start getting up before this." "Yeah, I know, but that's over a week away." Mrs. Barker shook her head at David's observation. "Anyway, your dad and I talked about it last night, and we decided that you could do it instead. It'll give you a little more spending money." "Okay," David mumbled. "You're terrible in the morning," his mom observed. "You'd better hope that you can find a job that will let you sleep late." "It's still summer vacation, mom. You know I'm better when school starts." "Well, when you're at the Murray's, you have to be responsible, David. We think you will be, you've grown up a lot over the last few years. Just don't do anything that will prove it wrong." "I won't mom," David complained. "Okay, I'm going to work, you can go back to bed if you want." David wanted. As his mom was closing the kitchen door, he was already heading back to his warm bed. He was back asleep before his mother had left the driveway. "Dammit, Kel, stop it, I'm trying to sleep," he muttered a while later in response to the shaking of his blanket clad body. "David, wake up. And I'm NOT Kelly." David opened his eyes to see his sister standing over his bed. "What are you doing here?" he grumped. "And what are you doing up?" "That kid is on the phone for you," she said. "And I've been up since 8:00. I'm going to Marie's today." David turned his head to look at the alarm clock. It was 8:45. "Now get up and get the phone," Lynn ordered, giving him one last shake. David gave his sister a bleary-eyed glare as she stomped from his room. He roused himself out of bed, slipped on a pair of shorts, and picked up the phone receiver laying on the kitchen bar. "Hello?" he mumbled. "Dave? Is that you? Did I wake you up? I'm sorry, I can call back later," came Chad's words in his typical rush. "Chad? No, no, it's okay, man. I was just sleeping in, time for me to get up anyway," he answered, hearing Lynn's snort from the living room. "Oh, okay, well as long as it's okay." "Yeah, it's fine, don't worry about it," he assured the youngster as he sat down in one of the barstools. "Mom wanted me to call you to see if you needed anything for Saturday night. Like soda or anything." "Saturday night?" "Yeah, remember? You're coming over to watch me and Cindy while mom and dad are out to dinner and stuff." "Oh yeah, that's right," David agreed, finally remembering the subject of his early morning conversation with his mother. "Nah, I don't really need anything like that." "Oh, okay, I mean we have Pepsi and stuff like that. She didn't know if you liked anything else." "Hey, slow down, man," David chuckled. "I'm still not awake yet." "Oh, I did wake you up," Chad said, his voice dropping. "Hey, I told you it was time for me to get up anyway, don't worry about it." "Am I being a pain?" "No, Chad, ease off man. I'm looking forward to babysitting." "I'm NOT a baby," came the indignant answer. "Well, you know what I mean," David laughed. "It's supposed to be hot today," Chad said. David looked out the window, no rain and the sun was out for the first time in days. "You gonna go swimmin'?" "Don't think so, need to clean my room and stuff today. I usually do it on Saturdays, but since I'm bab.....watching you guys, I think I'd better do it today." "Oh, okay, Mom said she'd take me, Alex, Cindy, and Deb, and it'd be cool if you came." "Sorry, kiddo, responsibilities and all that," David said. "Glad I don't have any of those," Chad giggled. "You will, maybe I'll say something to your parents about it." "You'd better not," Chad exclaimed. "Just teasin' ya, man," David smiled, then the doorbell rang. "Hold on a sec, okay?" "Okay." David put the phone down and answered the doorbell. It was Lynn's friend. Lynn rushed past David, telling him goodbye and was out the door, climbing into the car waiting in the driveway. "Okay, I'm back," he said into the phone. "Cool, well Mom said she was going for groceries and we have to go along, and she's ready to leave. I hate going grocery shopping, don't you?" Chad was back to his normal rush of words. "Yeah, sorta," David admitted. "You'd better go before you get into trouble." "Okay, well, have fun cleaning your room," Chad giggled. "Have fun shopping," David teased back. "Yeah, right, well, bye." "See ya," David answered, once again to the dial tone. He shook his head as he hung up the receiver, "Wonderful," he thought, "another morning person." He yawned as he walked back to his room. Man, he was still tired. He looked around at the mess in his room, shaking his head. He should really not wait until the last minute to pick up his things, his parents complained about it all the time. He started to pick up the clothes on the floor, when his bladder finally made itself known. Standing in front of the toilet, he had a thought, and grinned. Finishing his piss, he let his shorts and briefs fall to the floor and stepped out of them. He could go naked until his mom came home from lunch and no one would ever know. Wrapping a towel around his waist, he checked the doors and windows, closing the curtains as he went. Then back to the bathroom, shedding the towel, and hanging it back in place. He stood there for a few minutes, looking at himself in the mirror. He grinned at his reflection, giving his hips a little shake, making his dick start to firm up. He watched in the mirror as it slowly rose to it's full length, jutting out from his pubes and a small upward angle. "Okay," he thought, "time to take care of this." He was leaving the bathroom when he turned and dug under the vanity for his 'toy.' Retrieving it from under the sink, he grabbed the jar of vaseline and walked to his room, his erection ready for a little fun. Laying down on his back, he stroked his hard dick a few times, then reached for the vaseline, smearing it on the business end of the douche, and rubbing it into his butt. Bending his knees, he slowly worked the tip into his hole, wincing at first, then relaxing as it slid further inside. He started stroking himself, as he worked the 'toy' in and out of himself. He closed his eyes, and started thinking of a naked Kel in bed with him. The mental image was almost crystal clear, and without thinking he thrust the end of the douche into himself further. He gasped in pain as it hit the back wall of his rectum and quickly pulled it out. "Well, that hurt," he admitted to the empty room, and dropped the greasy 'toy' onto a pile of dirty clothes he had gathered up beside his bed. Returning his attention to his shrinking dick, he cupped his balls with one hand, and kept the other moving on his shaft, which soon became solid again. Closing his eyes once more, he continued to work his erection as he fondled his balls, using a finger to rub his pucker. The feeling of orgasm started to build, and he slowed his movements, it was too soon. The pending orgasm faded, and he stroked slower this time enjoying the feeling. He held off for another 15 or so minutes, then decided to go for broke. His hand started sliding faster, and his balls began to pull up and out of his hand as his orgasm approached. His dick tensed, and he raised his ass off the bed as he came. His release shot out to almost his neck ("Wow," he thought), then eased off to splatter across his stomach. He gasped for breath, lowering his butt back onto the bed, as his orgasm died down. "Damn," he said to the empty room. Then he chuckled, relaxing in the afterglow of orgasm. "David! Are you home? Why are all the curtains closed?" "Oh shit!" he thought in a panic. He looked at the alarm clock as he was reaching for his shorts. It was 11:30 already. He must have fallen asleep. He heard his mom, home for lunch, opening the curtains he had closed earlier, working herself back toward his room. He hurriedly pulled up his shorts and wiped the dried cum off his stomach with a t-shirt hanging off the back of his desk chair. It wasn't a perfect clean-up job, but it would have to do. "David? I hope you're cleaning up your room," she was in the dining room now, opening curtains. Still in a panic, he grabbed the dirty clothes within reach and shoved them into the clothes basket, then relaxed a little, turning his back toward the door to start making his bed. "David? What have you been doing?" his mom asked from the doorway. "You haven't finished your room, and you've had all morning." Turning to face her, he smiled guiltily, "Sorry, mom, I fell back asleep after Lynn left." "Not getting lazy on me, are you?" "No, I guess I was more tired than I thought after this morning." "Well, you'd better have this room cleaned before I get back home. What were all the curtains doing closed?" "Thought it might keep the house cooler, since it's sunny outside," David responded, thinking quickly. "Well, it is a little warm out today. All that rain makes it humid. I'll close them before I leave. Now get back to your cleaning." David breathed a mental sigh of relief. That was too close. He finished making his bed, and carried the basket of dirty clothes into the basement. Coming back up from the basement, he detoured to the kitchen where his mom was eating her lunch. "I'm sorry for falling back asleep." "Well, as long as you get your room cleaned before I get home, it's forgiven," his mom smiled. "Thanks mom," David answered gratefully, then turned back to his chore. "It would hurt if you dusted and ran the vacuum cleaner either," she advised. "Okay," David replied, willing to do anything to please after almost getting caught in a compromising position. He was still dusting, the lemony smell of Pledge pervading the room, when his mother said her goodbyes and headed back to work. When he heard the car back out of the driveway, he sat on the bed and heaved a sigh. That was too close, way too close. If he had to, he'd set the alarm the next time. Shaking his head, he returned to the task at hand. He finished his room about 2:00 and was surprised at the difference his thorough cleaning had made. Then, wanting to make an even better impression, he washed the dirty dishes left in the sink from breakfast and his mom's lunch and even straightened up his corner of the basement a little. He was just coming upstairs when he heard his mom come in the door. Her first destination was his room and he grinned at her shocked expression at the transformation. She laughed and said, "I'd never thought I'd see this room this clean again." "Well, I don't mean for it to get that messy, it just happens, I guess," he shrugged. "Well, if you just pick up after yourself, it'll be easier to keep clean." "I guess." "And thank you for doing the dishes, David. That was really nice." "S'ok, thought I'd better make up for my nap," he grinned. "Well, you did a good job, that was very adult of you." David performed a mental eye roll at the last comment, but smiled, "Thanks." The rest of the evening passed quickly and painlessly, David's mother telling his dad about what he had done that day, leaving out the nap part. They both seemed suitably impressed with his initiative. His dad pushed back from the table, "Since you did all that today David, I've got a surprise for you on Saturday before you go to the Murray's." "Cool, thanks," David responded - another mystery, jeeez. On Friday, David mowed the lawn without being asked, and raked the driveway stones out of the yard. Lynn came outside to watch him rake and asked why he was being such a brown-nose. "I have my reasons," David answered. "You're just being a goody two-shoes," she griped. David leaned on the rake, taking a break, "You should try it sometime, instead of being a pain." "I'm not a pain, I'm a girl and can't mow the lawn or anything like that." "Well, then quit moaning and groaning at me." Lynn sniffed, and stomped back into the house, leaving David to finish up his raking. Once again, his parents were extremely pleased when they got home. His dad was friendlier to David than he could ever remember, and after supper told David to get in his truck. After a short ride along back roads, they pulled into a driveway of one of his dad's co- workers. His dad and the other guy, Richard, talked for a few minutes and then led him to a small garage. Richard opened the door, and his dad said with a grin, "There ya are." Behind the door was a car. His dad told him it was a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500, and handed him the keys. David looked questioningly at his dad, who told him to pull it out of the garage. Excitedly, he got behind the wheel and started the car, slowly creeping out into the driveway. He shut it off, and got out, handing the keys back to his dad. "Keep 'em," his dad grinned, "they're yours." His dad and Richard laughed at the look on David's face as he walked around the car. It was baby blue with a white top, and the only rust was on the back fenders behind the tires. The interior was in excellent shape, a little musty from being closed in the garage, but his dad said it would air out on the way home. "Wow, this is pretty cool!" David enthused, then turned to Richard. "How much do I owe you? Dad didn't tell me I'd need any money." "Your dad bought it," answered Richard, making David stare at his father. "Now don't get all worked up, David," his dad smiled. "It needs about $200.00 worth of work to get it on the road, and you'll be paying for that. The front end needs some work, the shock mounts have broken through but I can take it to the plant and have new pieces welded on, so the only thing you'll need will be new shocks, two new back tires, and some work done on the front brakes." For the first time in years, David hugged his father, "Thanks, dad." Mr. Barker ruffled David's hair, "You need a haircut, but you're welcome. Richard warned David that the engine used a little oil, and to keep a spare quart or two in the trunk. He also gave him some more pointers on some of the idiosyncrasies - the driver's side rear door only opened from the inside, and the speedometer was five miles per hour slower than the actual speed of the vehicle. David really didn't care about that stuff - he had his OWN CAR! They talked a little more with Richard, then his dad asked, "Remember how to get home?" "Yeah, but I don't have my license, just my learner's." "Just take it easy, don't do anything stupid and we'll get it home okay." Then he grinned, "Unless you don't want to drive it home." David's answer was a wide grin as he opened the driver's door and slipped behind the wheel. His dad chuckled, said his goodbyes to Richard, then walked over to where David had the car started and ready to go. "Just keep it on the road, I'm going to follow you since the tags are expired, and not too fast." "Ok, dad, no sweat." Hesitantly pulling the gearshift to Drive, David eased down the driveway, followed by his dad's pick-up. David was still grinning like a madman when they pulled into their driveway. His mom and Lynn were standing on the carport waiting for their arrival. His mom was smiling, and Lynn's jaw was on the ground. He shut off the ignition, and climbed out of the driver's seat, waiting for his dad before the two walked to the house. "I thought you were waiting until tomorrow," his mom said to his dad. "Well, I was, but since he did all that work today, I thought we'd get it tonight so we could take it to the plant tomorrow to get the welding done." David flashed a triumphant grin at Lynn, who frowned and went inside. "You know the rules, I don't think we need to remind you, David," his dad warned. "No sweat, dad." "Okay, just wanted to make that clear. Like I said, we'll take it and get the welding done tomorrow, early." "No problem, I think I'm going to call Kel." His dad laughed, "Spread the good cheer, huh?" "Are you kidding? Of course." "Well, don't be bragging or anything." "I'm not, dad, Kel knows I was going to get a car, just not this soon." Mr. Barker chuckled as David rushed inside to call Kelly. "Hey!" he almost yelled into the phone when it was answered by Kelly. "Hey, yourself. Wanna turn the volume down a little bit?" Kelly snickered. "Guess what? I got the car tonight," David enthused. "COOL! What is it?" David filled Kelly in on the details of his new mode of transportation. "Sounds like someone's a little excited," Kelly laughed. "Yeah, I guess I am a little. I mean it needs some work and all, which will probably make a dent in the cash I have, but...." "When do I get a ride?" "Well, dad and I are taking it to his work to get some welding done tomorrow, and I have to get tags and stuff like that. Probably won't be for a while." "Maybe I'll see if I can come over Sunday to see it," Kelly suggested. "That'll be cool, let me ask." His parents gave their permission for Kelly's visit, and after chatting a few more minutes, David hung up the phone. He went back outside, walking proudly to HIS car. "David, I know it's not a 'race car' or anything, but your mom and I thought it might be a good car for your first one," his father informed him. "Dad, it's cool. So what all needs to be done?" The two of them spent the next half hour going over what repairs were needed. David listened intently to his father's explanation and agreed wholeheartedly with his suggestion that David learn the basic maintenance procedures, like changing oil and all, so he could do it himself. "Thanks a lot, dad! I really appreciate you buying it for me." "Well, just remember, you're going to pay for the repairs, and anything else you do to it if you decide to clown around. If you don't have the money, it'll sit until you do." "Guess I oughta get a job, huh?" His dad laughed, "Well, unless gas and insurance money has started growing on trees, I think you're going to need one. Just don't let it interfere with your school work." "No sweat, Sean said I could probably get a job down at Hahn's, where he works. Mom said she'd take me down to talk to them Monday after work." "Gonna work for Jim, huh?" his dad grinned. "Who?" "Jim Wise, the owner, I bowl with him on Tuesday nights." "Really?" David asked, then grinned. "Put in a good word for me." "By Tuesday it'll be too late, you'll already have made your impression." "Well, hope it's good." His dad shrugged, "Jim's funny." Knowing that his dad didn't mean humorous 'funny,' David sobered up a little, already planning on how to make a good impression. He and his dad talked in the driveway for a few more minutes, then went inside to spend the rest of the evening in their normal ways - his dad napping on the sofa and his nose buried in a book. ***************************************************************************** Sometimes having your weekend planned for you by someone else can be a good thing.
