UNDER PRESSURE - Denouement?

.....And they lived happily ever after.   LOL

Well, that's it.  Tah-dah.  I honestly hope y'all enjoyed my first attempt
at a story.  I know a few of you did...naughty, naughty... lol

Even though it isn't really a work of fiction, it was hard for me to pick
and chose exactly what to put in there.  I would think of something and it
would remind me of something else, which would remind me of another thing,
and so on.  But I think there was enough not to leave a whole lot of
'holes.'

I received a fair amount of comments from readers, made some friends, and
just had a good time.  Jim, Tim, and Dave.....THANKS!  And "Wes", take good
care of the little one!
  
Some of you have asked me to continue the story into "David's" high school
years and experiences, and I've started writing, but honestly haven't
decided whether I'm going to post it yet. :-) One of the 'fallout' aspects
of writing this story has been the resurfacing of names and faces that have
been in my head for years, but have been pushed to the rear due to the
day-to-day events of later years.  I now have a Kodak Instamatic (remember
those?)  picture of "my Kelly" - at about 14 that I found during the
writing of this story taped to the side of the computer screen.  He's
standing on the boiler in the ore pits with one hand on his hip, shirt
unbuttoned, with a 'devil-may-care' smile on his face - ahhh, yes...faces
and names. :-)

So, I'm gonna take a couple days to do some more 'remembering.'  And have
some fun.  After all, I haven't been to the pits in 10 or 15 years!  And,
the MD RennFest is going on - haven't broken out the kilt in months!  lol

If I decide NOT to continue, there will be an "Epilogue" chapter posted in
the next couple of days, wrapping up what I started.  Then maybe, I'll move
to something else....who knows?

Until then, gentle (and not-so-gentle) reader, take care, be safe, and most
importantly remember - today will be gone by tomorrow.
