BROTHER vs. BROTHER

by: 70's Child

The following story is an historical piece of fiction of love and war. Now for the obligatory warnings: 1) if you are underage, you should not be here, but I am not saying leave; 2) if you find love between men horrific, please get the hell out; and 3) if you find love between loving brothers offensive, just do not read. Also for those you are very homophobic and rather see those who are gay die from AIDS or just getting attacked, I have two words for you - ** SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just so you know, any relation to anyone who was real is purely coincidental.

For those who love history as I do, this will be as historically accurate as possible, but the characters will be fictional. I hope that you love it. In part of this story, a new character was developed. Because trying to type out the name of the character would be time consuming, I will be using initials for the character. Also there is a slight kink episode in this, so those who are offended I do apologize, but I think will help the storyline.

FROM THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER:

"Sergeant, I also care about you." he said. "I feel safe and warm. I know one thing, I want you in my life forever."

"I have no family." the big man said. "Do you think your family will welcome me?"

"If I'm happy with you, they will be happy." the teen replied.

They kissed and fell asleep. Brett cuddled on his new lover and Sgt. Brookes felt the teen on him and he was happy.

CHAPTER 17: The 1st Virginia Calvary

The day after Gregg and Brett left, Chad and Beau left to join their unit. The farewells were tearful, especially from Thadd. John hugged his sons and the tears from his eyes seemed to show he would never see them again. As the duo rode off, they were quite for a couple of hours. Finally, the silence was broken by Chad.

"Beau, do you think we'll see Dad and Thadd again?" he asked with worry on his face.

This was the first time in all the time Beau knew Chad he saw fear and doubt on his face. He did not know how to answer the question. If he said yes, he could be wrong with the guilt that would follow. If he said no, this could send the large man into a deep depression.

"I just don't know." he answered. "I just hope so. I just want to see them alive after this over. We just have to see."

As they continued, they talked about the parties they attended and what they would be like after the war.

They arrived at the camp at sundown and met with their commanding officer, Colonel Justin Broadstreet. He gave them a quick glance and informed them where to report. They went to the building and found a corporal standing there.

"May I help y'all?" he asked with a thick drawl.

"Colonel Broadstreet told us to report here." Beau replied. "We just got in."

"Names?" the enlisted man inquired.

Chad told him who they were and the corporal looked at a list of arrivals. He marked off their names and handed them standard uniforms.

"Y'all reports to Cap'n Johnston." the NCO told them.

They found the captain talking with a sergeant. As the two approached them, the captain eyed them warily. Chad explained who they were and that they were told to report to him.

"So you're John Rutherford's boys?" the captain queried.

"I'm his natural son." Beau explained. "Chad was adopted along with his brother."

"I see." Capt. Johnston said. "Why isn't your brother here with you?"

"He's rather small and might not be able to help the outfit." Chad responded.

"I understand." the officer said. "I was to understand you have a twin."

"Yes sir." Beau answered. "Our father sent him to a unit in Maryland. He figures this would put one son on the winning side."

"It seems reasonable." the man uttered. "But you must now realize that he is the enemy and you might end up shooting him."

"Yes sir." the brothers responded in unison, not revealing what pact the group made days earlier.

The captain explained that they were to be commissioned as second lieutenants and be in charge of two platoons. He also explained that the men they were to lead were mostly farmers and merchants to be trained.

"You must lead these men into battle." he told them. "Gain their confidence and respect, then they will follow."

Chad was a natural born leader, but Beau was extremely nervous. He knew Chad would look out for him, but he wanted to prove himself. Capt. Johnston told the pair where their men were and the two set out. As the approached the tents, there was an array of males that ranged in age from seventeen to thirty-five. Beau counted twelve men and figured they would each be in charge of six each. A lanky man of about 32 came up to them.

"Hey y'all." he uttered. "Guess'n y'all part of this outfit. We be waitin' for our lee'tents."

Beau and Chad grinned at his pronunciation of the word. He saw their smiles and grew angry.

"What's so damn funny?" he seethed.

"Just the way you said lieutenant." Beau answered. "We just met them and they seem to be nice guys."

"Well you must some uppity white boy who never worked in his life." the gangly man declared with a snide tone.

"I wouldn't say that." the blonde teen replied as he showed the man his calloused hands. "My father made us work on the plantation. Yes, my father is rich, but he also believes in hard work."

"Oh and we're the new lieutenants." Chad added. "What's your name?"

"Bruce Baxter, suh." the man responded.

"Get the men assembled." the larger brother commanded.

Doing as he was told, Bruce got the men together and they faced the two new officers. Chad looked them over and smirked. There were a couple he would not mind taking to bed. He spied a nervous boy who looked 12, but he knew this was impossible.

"Let me introduce myself." Beau began. "My name is Beau Rutherford and this is my brother Chad. We are the new officers assigned to train y'all. Just so you know, we're new to this. If we look out for each other, we should survive. Now let us get to know you. Answer when your name is called. Tell us where you're from and how old you are."

As he called each name, the brothers learned that they all lived one to two days ride away. They ranged in age from sixteen to thirty-five.

"We are going to get settled in our tent." the blonde teen said. "We will talk with you individually later."

Chad and Beau took their gear to the tent that was assigned to them. They set up their tent and changed into their uniforms. Beau's seemed a little large on him and Chad's seemed a little tight, but they made the best of the situation.

The bugler sounded mess call and the entire group went to the mess tent. They had beans, some beef, and biscuits. Though it was not the type of food they were usually accustomed, it was still palatable. After they were finished, they met with each of the men in their unit.

They met with Bruce Baxter first. He was 32 years old and married. He had 3 children and was a poor farmer. He told them he had no time for rich owners and they knew he was going to be a problem.

The next was Carl Peters. He was 35, a widower, and had no children. He was a farmer also and treated the brothers with respect. Beau noticed the man seemed to be undressing them with his eyes, but he felt that since it was a long day, he was getting tired.

After Carl left the tent, a long, lanky teen entered. He said his name was Barry Peterson and was 18. He told the brothers he attended VMI and left when Fort Sumter was fired upon.

The next few who they talked to were farmers. Terry Anderson was 24, had a wife and new baby. Matthew Grooms was 30 and ran the family farm with his father and two brothers. Ethan Martin was a mountain of a man and had an attitude. Beau and Chad just looked at each other and nodded. Davey Pandam was a poor farmer who lost his farm and had no family. The Rutherfords felt for him. Alexander Bridges was 21 and had just graduated from William and Mary. Robert hills had a mercantile store. He was 31, had a wife and five children. Frank Gilliam was a farmer who was 29. He had no family and left his farm in the care of a neighbor.

The last two came in together. Frank and Billy Mills were brothers who joined together. Frank, being 19, told his mother he would look after his little brother. Billy tried to get tough, but Chad could see through the façade.

After the brothers left, Beau just rubbed his eyes and yawned. Chad was tired also and laid upon his cot. His eyes closed and he pictured Michael in his mind. His eyes filled with tears and he began to sob quietly. Beau heard him and went to Chad to hold him close. The burly man just cried and the blonde just rocked Chad to make him feel better.

"Is it Michael?" Beau asked.

"I miss him so." the dark-haired man answered.

"Come on brother." the blonde added. "You love him."

Chad smiled at his brother. Beau saw his brother was feeling better, so he began to get ready for bed. His cock suddenly sprung to life. He was not sure why, but it felt like he was being rammed by a huge cock. He thought he was going crazy, but the feeling was real. Beau began to moan and fell on his cot. Chad thought his brother was going insane. He went over and looked at Beau.

"What's going on?" he asked.

"I-I-I-I-I-I don't know?" Beau replied. "It feels like I'm getting fucked by a huge cock. OH GOD!!!!"

His moans continued and he felt the cum bubble up through his flesh tube. He could not understand why and the urge to shoot was overwhelming. He felt a huge thrust and this caused him to shoot over and over in his pants without touching himself.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" he moaned loudly.

As he came down from the sexual bliss ebbed, Chad held his brother's arm and was amazed at what happened. Beau finally looked at the man sitting next to him and smiled weakly.

"That was incredible." he said. "I am wondering if this is because of Brett."

"It was very strange to see." Chad told him. "Are you okay?"

"I am now." the blonde answered. "Let's get some sleep, alright?"

Beau got out of his cum soaked pants and laid on his cot. Chad reclined on his and blew out the lantern.

"Beau, I'm glad you're here with me." the dark-haired man stated. "I love you brother."

"Same here, Chad." the blonde acknowledged. "I love you too brother. Let's just get ourselves and these guys out of this war alive."

They turned over and fell asleep.

NOTE: First, I want to say that I am sorry that it took so long to post the chapter. I had was fired from my job that I held for over 2 years. Ironically, I got a better job with the state with more money. The only problem is that I can only write at night and the weekends. Second, I had to see my brother off for a second tour of duty to Iraq. This should be his last time and he will be back safely. I have been getting more information on the specific units that I am using for the war and which battles they participated in. If you have any comments, either good or bad, please email me at writhot@comcast.net. Please put the title in the subject line and where you are from so that I may add you to the Readers' List.
