Phinneas was lying naked on the beach on a small island west northwest of Haiti. His body was hot from the sun, but the breezes kept him from feeling as though his skin was on fire. The cool of the waves lapping at his legs and feet woke him from his mid afternoon nap. He sat up grabbed his knees and squinted at the horizon. Nobody was anywhere in sight, he turned to the hut. He sighed in relief, Bart was there tending to a small fire. Phinneas got up and walked towards his mate. Bart saw him approaching and put his hands on his own naked lean hips, "Ye're a fine sight! Sleepin' the afternoon away. Ye must be hungry, comin' up 'ere." Phinneas grabbed his mate pulled him close and gave him a big kiss, "Aye, stop yer jabberin's and give me 'nother kiss, mate!" Bart cracked a big smile, moved in closely and kissed him hard and deep. Their groins were touching and their both of their cocks were stiffening. After six years together, they still felt sometimes like it were their first time again. Lost in the kiss, Phinneas felt as though he was falling and found himself on board the Howl of the Corsair. Frantically, he was opening each cabin, looking in, and then closing the door again, and moving on to the next. He was looking for Bart. He hadn't seen him after muster like he usually did on duty and Phinneas was panicked. He opened one of the cabins, it was dark, and he thought he heard Bart's voice. He stepped forward and fell through a hole in the floor – the fall felt interminable. He landed with a thud. When he came to he could hear shots being fired from the frigate. French troops were trying to board the Howl of the Corsair but were being held back by the buccaneers. The French were no match for a ship full of experienced pirates. Troops lay dead on the deck of the French ship, and now it was the pirates turn to board the vessel. As they stealthily made their way aboard, the remaining living French dropped their weapons and put their hands in the air. The pirates secured the vessel in no time, plundered the booty, and disembarked only after cutting the main sails of the frigate. They took no prisoners and were on their way to their next ship. Bart found Phinneas limping to the infirmary, blood trailing behind him. He had been wounded in the battle. Bart took his mate in his arms and carried him the rest of the way to the doctor. The infirmary was filled with other wounded sailors. He sat Phinneas down and got the doctors attention. The doctor looked at Phinneas' wound and gave his assistant instructions on how to patch Phinneas up. Within an half hour Bart was slowly walking his mate back to their cabin. Phinneas had his arm draped over his mate's broad shoulders and Bart had wrapped his arm around Phinneas' waist. It was one of the rare times they kissed in the open, but they did so passionately paying no heed to the other men aboard. Phinneas got lost in the kiss and felt like he was floating on the clouds. He looked down and saw the island of Hispaniola, and closed his eyes. He was in a room in the boarding house with Bart. It was morning and he and Bart had just had an early horny round of sex. He laid in his partner's arms, both still catching their breath. Bart kissed Phinneas on the crown of his head and whispered, "I love you." Phinneas turned over, grabbed Bart's square jaw, and gave him a deep kiss. "I love you, too." With a start, Phinneas jerked in bed. He was confused for a moment. In front of him was a younger man whom he had wrapped an arm around, and behind him was another man, holding him tightly. He rolled over, hoping. No, he shook his head, it wasn't Bart. He closed his misty eyes a moment and remembered it was Eirvarph. It had all just been a dream. Nifty needs your donations to keep everyone's stories coming! Go to: http://www.nifty.org/
