Themostikles looked at the hills still rising before him and knew those hills were between him and the city of Pharsalus, part of the city-state of Thessalia. It was time for him to find some farmer's home to offer him a meal. He would pay for his meal by stories of his travel, or perhaps by performing some tasks about the farm, another reason to start looking now, while the sun was yet overhead. This would let him make more ground by nightfall and be in Pharsalus tomorrow. There, perhaps the Thessalian king would be willing to listen to his petition on behalf of Athens. His stomach growled and his dark head turned, he licked his young lips and looked up at the sun beating down on him. He would need water before much longer, as well. There! Coming faintly over the hills, the sounds of pipes! Had he been more superstitious, he might have wondered if a satyr were playing, but he was a rational Athenian who knew better. The pipes meant more likely a shepherd who had brought his flock to the high pastures to graze by day. He would perhaps be willing to share his midday meal...if he hadn't eaten it already! The thought made Themostikles move faster. The man would at least have some water for him to drink! He saw the sheep first, they were beginning to disperse somewhat, but not more than was dangerous. Sheep stayed together, it was in their nature. A shepherd only needed to guide their wanderings from exhausted field to verdant pasture. An easy life at times, not so easy at others. But in spring, before the lambing, it was a life much to be envied. The shepherd sat on a blanket thrown upon the ground, and Themostikles' stomach rumbled again when he saw the basket of food, as yet barely touched. There was a lot of food...but then again, there was a lot of shepherd! The man played the pipes but rather inexpertly. Most shepherds, with time on their hands year after year, became quite good at playing. Perhaps he had only just begun to play the pipes. This man looked as if his main hobby before now had been battle or combat. No shepherd's work would have given him the warrior's muscles. Themostikles flexed his own arms in contemplation, no, one did not get such bulk without dint of many hours of concentrated effort, until the body became a driving machine on the battlefield. This man must be one of the hoplite contingent for the city-state of Thessalia, who would don his armor and shield to form the phalanx. But now, in this springtime of peace, the man wore only a himation of rather ornate edging, the single length of linen held in place by nothing more than it being worn over his left shoulder and drap ed about his loins where he sat, there was nothing underneath it. The man looked up as Themostikles approached, but only smiled as he saw Themostikles was alone and unarmed and had his gaze mostly upon the food basket. "Welcome, traveler." he said. "If you come in peace, you are welcome to share in my food." "I am peaceful, and very hungry." Themostikles admitted. "If you would be so kind, I would be happy to help you with your sheep before I travel on." The man waved his hand grandly. "There is plenty of food, and plenty of grass, sit and be fed and worry not about repayment." "I am Themostikles, son of Nikleos." Themostikles introduced himself. "You may call me Hippocles." the man said in return. "Won't you try this wine, it is some of the best made in Thessalia." The wine was as good as promised. Themostikles did not forget that the man deserved some company for his troubles. He regaled the man with his battle tales, the two battles he had fought thus far for Athens. "Yes, I remember the battle with the Spartans on that day well." the man said. "I was there myself." Themostikles sobered. "The Thessalian contingent fought well that day." he said. "I meant no disrespect when I talk of my own exploits." To his consternation, the man laughed heartily. "Well, and it was a good fight no matter which side you were on!" he said. "It was at that." Themostikles agreed, getting to his feet. "I thank you, Hippocles, for your gift of food...." "And is that all I will get for my trouble?" the man interrupted Themostikles words of parting. He owed the man some labor; Themostikles went down on one knee to show he was willing to stay. "You have been kind to me, and I am ready to serve." he said. "How may I assist you?" The man's response was to push aside his himation. Themostikles had seen that the man had left off his chiton, the garment typically worn as the main item of clothing beneath the himation (which was simply a length of linen cloth), but as any Greek, he was unconcerned about such casual clothing on a warm day and had often exercised nude in the gymnos. When the himation had been pushed aside, the man's need for assistance became obvious, he was bearing a strong erection. "Should I take this out to my flock instead?" Hippocles asked Themostikles. "Mayhaps the ewe would bear a satyr if you did." Themostikles joked. "But beyond proving the truth of our legends, I think that shall not be necessary." This was more than the simple duty to provide service for the gift of food, this was the man himself, his strong body was incentive enough to cause Themostikles to feel the rising of lust within himself. Any man of his age and position had taken any number of men as lovers, both for periods of time with friends, and now, when time and circumstance brought them together, for was not the act of joining of bodies one of the greatest joys of life, so much that even the gods and goddesses were said to engage in it, and had not Zeus, for all his children born of goddesses and mortal women, had he not also taken up the handsome young prince, Gandymede, to be his respite and joy at times when women did not rouse him? Themostikles was more well-dressed than Hippocles, wearing both the chiton and a tunic over it, for when traveling a great distance, it was better to have clothing that would hold itself evenly about your body without hindrance. He removed his tunic, lifted up the chiton and stepped to straddle Hippocles. Had he known Hippocles better, he might have felt the need to offer strokes and touches of gentleness, but as it was, better to simply let the goat of lust run as it would. As Hippocles' cockhead touches Themostikles' anus, he let out a gasp, one matched by Hippocles' own grunt. "Ah, you wield a strong pike." Themostikles said. "This one shall run me through for fair." "Be brave of spirit and great of courage, and you shall endure." Hippocles said in mock-seriousness. "Many have cried out as though impaled, but they have all managed to stand again afterwards and walk away, although oftentimes with a limp." "And I with many stadia still to travel before I reach Pharsalus." Themostikles mock-mourned in return. "Still, if you will use me so, a poor traveler, what else can I do but surrender myself to you." "I shall indeed use you so." Hippocles said, "And that with all the roughness I can." "Then I am yours." Themostikles surrendered himself to the inevitable by marshaling his resolve and thrusting himself downwards onto the towering manpole! As the huge dong delve into his innards, Themostikles moaned, his squatting position was pushing it firmly up into him. He go the length of it into himself and then rocked upon his heels, loving how the strong shepherd's prick was tickling his insides with muscled passion's awakening, his love-bead within was delighting his spirit, he was at one with himself and his partner and the world and the gods, and all of them were within himself, and all of them were as they should be, for sexual ecstasy was the dance of life itself! Hippocles seemed content to let Themostikles do the entirety of the work, so Themostikles gingerly lowered himself so that he was upon his knees now, and the hard dong was within him to its base, and now he could raise and lower himself with his stronger thighs, and he wrung his pleasure from Hippocles, and together their throats hummed with the joys of libido ignited, and Themostikles wondered if his mission to Pharsalus was so urgent that he could not tarry here a day or two and get to know this rough shepherd-hoplite the better, yet his duty to his city-state prevailed, and he would get only this one joining, the better, then, to enjoy it to the full! Hippocles either tired of his lounging position, or wished to move himself differently within Themostikles, for he reached up and grabbed his young partner and pulled him down so that their chests touched, and then he rolled them over onto the blanket, and with Themostikles sprawled beneath him, began to fuck the youthful Athenian with all the vigor and experience his greater age would permit him. Themostikles sighed, not since his days of first puberty had he relished so the touch of an older man upon his body, he had been overmuch with youths his own age, enraptured by the high fires of the age of men not quite yet with their first score of years, and in whom the lusts of nature burned most brightly. He had spent nights in ceaseless sex, and yet in all that young energy, in all that fiery slaking of desire, he had missed this, to be held down by one older and used to quench the older man's thirst, and in doing so, find his own desire satisfied. As his passion rose within him, Themostikles clutched at Hippocles' back, his fingers digging into the bare back, feeling the muscles there as they rippled as Hippocles moved his hips, thrusting in and out of Themostikles, and he groaned and grasped the tighter! "Here now I am at my goal." Hippocles warned, and Themostikles worked his butt muscles to milk at Hippocles' dong, and Hippocles groaned, his deep voice choked off and then with a burst of exhaled syllables of lust, he filled the young Athenians' ass with his Thessalian jism! Themostikles felt the hot sperm jetting into his body and he keened in a way that he hadn't since his first surrendering to a man at the age of fourteen, his body was overcome by his joy, and he keened, he wailed, and his prick avenged itself by spraying Hippocles stomach with hot Athenian man-juice! Done, panting, Hippocles fell heavily upon Themostikles, and that was as the man had done with him when he was just past pubescence, and that made it right for him, and he remained pinned under this stronger, older man until he had regained his strength and was able to raise on his arms off of Themostikles' chest. Panting still, Hippocles' smiled into Themostikles sweat-slicked face, and he said, "Well, now, you have paid your debt to me in full measure, as is meet." "Never." Themostikles said, "for I took my pleasure from you as well as gave it to you." "Then take it as my gift to you." Hippocles said. "Unless you wish to remain with me a bit more and try once again to balance the scales of your duty to me." "It is not my desire, but my duty, that sends me away." Themostikles said. "I travel not to Pharsalus for myself, but for Athens, and I must arrive them as soon as I can so I may speak with the King on Athen's behalf." "What business has Athens with the King of Pharsalus?" Hippocles asked. Themostikles saw no reason to keep his mission secret. "We seek once again the aid of Thessalia against the Spartans, who once again encroach upon us." he said. "With our walls in place and them unable to prevail against it, they engage in the most heinous banditry upon our countryside. We need more men to force them into proper battle, and send them in defeat back to the Peloponnesian Peninsula where they belong." "Having given help in the years past, I am sure the King will agree once again." Hippocles said. "I hope you are right." Themostikles said. "Yet I must be on my way to petition him still." "You may be on your way if you would." Hippocles shrugged. "Yet I tell you that you need not travel the further." Themostikles looked his question. "And how, O Hippocles, is it that I should not need to travel further to speak with the King of Thessalia?" "Because you are speaking to him now." Hippocles said. "Sit once again, drink some more of this excellent wine, and we shall discuss how best we may once again aid our Athenian allies against the Spartans." Themostikles regarded again the himation, the ornate fringe, saw how it was made with gold thread. Yes, he was now indeed speaking with the King! So Themostikles sat back down and proceeded to fulfill his mission to Pharsalus. THE END Comments, complaints or suggestions? E-mail the Author at Tommyhawk1@AOL.COM WWW.TOMMYHAWKSFANTASYWORLD.COM
