Date: Mon, 10 Oct 2005 09:26:33 -0500 From: Kyle Harris Subject: The Birthday Present, Chapter One Matt was a very good-looking 16-year-old boy with a tall lithe nicely tanned hourglass frame, broad shoulders, ruffled sandy blond hair, and bright blue eyes. His sweet smile could melt most girls' hearts as well as the hearts of more than just a few boys! Although he worked out on a fairly regular basis, he wasn't as buff as he was firm and taut. The boy's armpit hair was only now just beginning to spout; however, his nipples could already be described as succulent. When Matt sunbathed at home, he wore his Speedo, but he always wore trunks to the public pool. Trevor was staying with his cousin Matt's family for the summer. He was 19 with fit body as well, but unlike Matt, Trevor was gay. He liked Matt in more ways that Matt felt comfortable and although Trevor had dropped several hints over the years, Matt continued to be unresponsive. Whenever Matt would sunbathe in the backyard in his speedo, Trevor would just happen to feel like relaxing on the back patio with a cool drink and enjoy the view. This bugged Matt a little, but not enough to make him get up and go inside. Just imagine the sight of a gorgeous 16-year-old boy in a Speedo lying on his back with his arms extended out beyond his head! Yes, Matt even worked on the tan in his armpits! In fact, he was very thorough in everything he did. For the most part, Matt liked Trevor. In fact, he owed Trevor a great debt. A few years ago, Trevor had saved his life in a fire. It turned out that Matt's parents were throwing Trevor a surprise birthday party that weekend, but Matt had no money and couldn't imagine what to give him. However, Matt had a sense of humor as well as a spirit for adventure. Maybe all those times out in the backyard weren't so unpleasant after all. As Matt admired his tan, his conscience finally caught up with him and he realized that the best gift he could give Trevor was staring back at him from the mirror. His heart took over and, wearing only his speedo, he walked down the hall to Trevor's room. "Hey," Matt said at the door. "Hey, buddy. C'mon in." "I've been thinking. I wanna give you something for your birthday." "No, it's cool. We'll just hang out together." "Why do you always like to watch me when I'm wearing this Speedo?" "Duh! Look in the mirror! Hey, you know I'm gay. C'mon, pull your head out!" "But you know I'm straight, right?" "That doesn't change my feeling of attraction, especially when you're dressed like that." "That's what I figured. You're not going to believe what I'm going to give you for your birthday." "What?" Trevor asked, genuinely curious. After more than just a short pause, Matt finally said, "Me." Now, there was a longer pause as both boys let the gravity of the moment settle in. Finally, Trevor said, "You?" "C'mon, I know you like me ... I mean, you really do LIKE me! Right?" "I guess it's not a secret." "No, it's not!" Matt said and smiled. Then Trevor smiled and said, "So ... you're giving yourself to me?" "I'm not sure how this is gonna work. I've never been with a guy before. I'm not even curious. Hell, I have a girlfriend! But I like you--not the same way you like me. In fact, I owe you my life." "Hey, you would've done the same for me in that fire." "I know. It just seems like this is the best way I can make you happy on your birthday." "Man, that is so sweet. This must be really uncomfortable for you." "Maybe a little ... but I trust you. Don't expect much of a response from me, but you can do whatever you like with me as long as I don't object." "Nice," Trevor said as he savored the moment. "This is the best birthday present I've ever gotten! Uhm ... when should ... Uhh ..." Trevor couldn't seem to find the right words. "How about tonight, after everyone's gone to bed. Just come to my room. Don't forget to lock my bedroom door behind you!" Matt smiled as he walked out of Trevor's room. I'm already pondering ideas for chapter two. I think this is going to be a rather sensitive coming-of-age love story. Any ideas? Feedback is always welcome. Thanks for reading.
