......Last nights little incident with Joe and Adam remained a quiet
afair. Nor Joe or Adam spoke of it. The day went in as usual. I left for
work like normal.  Did my job, like normal and came home to Adam.

"Where's Joe" I asked him

"Just have dinner without me"

"Okay" came the same dull answer.

Again. I was too busy to pick up in the quiet distance between us. But I
just went back to my work.

When I did finally get home it was after eight. Adam had left food on the
table, but had left. There was a note from him. There was problem with his
mother. She had fallen and was in the hospital. So he had to rush up. I
never really cared for her, and he knew it. But I understood.

"I will get back tomorrow if I can" he had said

& "No need to come up"

 He had added that so I would not feel obligated to come.

Then a final "Love you"

"You too" I said back.

I ate dinner and then decided on an early night. I went to bed and was out
by eight o'clock. I slept OK, ebpcen though Adam wasn't home. But i was
