Date: Sat, 22 Aug 2009 17:57:27 +0000 (GMT) From: Rubber Rider Subject: Part 2 Son Ryan I've had a number of requests to continue this story of Ryan and his Dad so here goes. The Caribbean cruise often sailed at night and one could sleep on deck, and in fact I think most of those on board did this. I can tell you it is fantastic to rouse during the night and feel the sea breezes and the damp air which has been far different to the day time when the temperature was generally in the mid 90oF and although humid the breeze kept that away. During the day we visited different islands and saw an incredible contrast in the way of living. Of course all good things come to an end and we had to fly home to the wet and cold. Well we got home and unpacked it was Saturday evening raining like heck, cold and miserable. We got our dirty clothes into the washer, Ryan set about getting the wood stove going and I got a good stiff drink for both of us. Finally we sat down while the wood stove got going and it was sure nice to feel that warmth. After a few minutes Ryan said Dad thank you for that trip it was wonderful and so many great guys on board, I really did enjoy myself -- Thanks Well Monday came around and the two of us got dressed as usual in our Hi-Vis overalls and went to see Tom our Boss to find out what was next. On entry to the office the receptionist said hi guys Tom was hoping you would stop bye please go straight in. Tom door was open as normal, and as he looks up you have returned, looks as if you enjoyed yourselves as you are so well tanned, Rider answer yes including out backsides! Anyway it is good to see you back, now you will not believe this but we have been asked to expand the building that we just completed, so I would like the two of you to return and do an estimate on the cost and talk firstly with the developer and make sure if he changes his mind part of the way through then extra charges will be involved. They would like an extra 6000 sq feet added at the north end. Luckily the camp is still untouched and the cook is still there as a caretaker so I suggest you could be away for two weeks and if you would like Joyce there go ahead and ask her as she sure fitted in well up there and I think enjoyed herself. There no trucks there so go ahead and rent a 4x4 at the airport for your transportation. I'm sure you will be able to find a suitable location to keep it under cover within the existing building -- no problem there are several loading bays in the complex. Tom one thing that concerns me is our crew I don't wont to loose any of them, please get them all together and advise them what is going on and then that we have gone back up to do estimating on expanding the complex. If there is some way of giving them work please arrange it. I sure like your thinking Rider; you are very protective of our crew and I appreciate that. Well Tom we all need income, they are a good supportive crew, and everyone gets one so well I do not will not to see any discord. You are good man Rider, the next flight is Wednesday if that is ok Rider, oh sorry Ryan you are included of course. Have you contacted Joyce? No. well lets do that right now, her phone rings and when she answers -- hi Joyce would you like to go back to the old site for about two weeks, to do a lot of report writing for Rider & Ryan. Gee that sounds great I sure enjoyed myself on the last trip, when do we leave? Well either Tom or I will let you know but look at next Wednesday. Tom will confirm the date and times; sounds good and where we will depart from etc Well everything was setup for the Wednesday departure, we all meet at the office and Joyce surprised the office staff by turning up in Hi-Vis overalls. Both Ryan and I were used to seeing Joyce this way. Our flight was somewhat boring however, we all chatted about the forth-coming work. Once we landed, Rider went ahead and rented a 4x4 land cruiser it took all our gear easily he also stop at the liquor store and grabbed two cases of beer and one bottle of scotch we asked Joyce would like a bottle of something, a white wine 02 please. Arriving at camp, we meet up with the cook Peter who was in charge and went to our old rooms to unpack. The Peter asked why we had come back; so when he was told why; Peter was very happy to hear the news as he said he like the isolation. We said that Joyce was with us, are she is a great lady and very kind glad she is with you a great asset. Peter we some beer I'm sure there is space in the frig somewhere -- no problems at all. We insisted that Peter eat with us while we there, so after some coffee Peter asked what time for breakfast I said 7:30 am would be good. We all went our own ways and headed for our rooms, of course our doors were open Dad calls out hey Ryan have you got time for your dad, sure thing I'm on my way. Rider his dad is standing there with his arms wide open and says come here Ryan and before he knows it they are both hugging and making love. Ryan sees his dad bag is open and recognizes the container that holds condoms and KY, he grabs two condoms hands one to dad and say lets go for it I need it please. It does not take long for Rider to enter Ryan inner chamber as he lays on his back and his legs are gripping Rider's waist; Ryan is calling out fuck me real hard and with that the animal instinct that is in all of us takes over. Ryan pulls his dad face closer and starts to kiss him while his dad is still pounding away. After about five minutes Rider shoots several loads into his condom and at the same time Ryan mussels clamp down on Rider holding him there in place. Eventually they fall apart both are breathing heavily, Ryan says thanks dad I needed that badly; you are no different to me son so fix me up please. It didn't take Ryan long to get on the job and he pounded his dad also. Eventually all good things come to an end. They lay there just talking when Ryan said I think we should both go and have a shower and I could do with a shave also. Well they both slept well that night, it was a very warm night so a quick shower to freshen up and then to breakfast. After breakfast Rider make contact with John the developer and arranged for a site meeting that afternoon. We told him there would be three of us including our secretary to take notes. That is great, do you have anywhere were we can spread out our drawings? I said we can use the cook house as there are only us and the cook in camp. There are plenty of tables that will do the job OK I will see at 1:00pm on site and then we can go over the proposed drawings. I asked I hope you have a second set of drawing so we can do some estimating, no problem there. Next job; I let Peter the cook know and set tables up then advised Joyce and ask her to be with us and take notes. Peter said he would have a soup and sandwich lunch ready for 11:30am to give us time to eat etc; he also said I will have some fresh coffee on for 1:00pm -- Thanks. Ryan and I then went over to the site and had a look at the north end walls and the terrain outside which appear to rise in elevation, several units were now in use and gave a chance to check them over to make sure the structure was all in order. Must make sure the last unit is not occupied until the extension is completed. We meet with John and had a very constructive meeting and I asked why you didn't do this extra section when we built the first half. His answer was I was unsure if the project would fly and I sunk all my funds into it and now the demand has exceeded my expectations plus I have received the monies from the sale of several units. John there is one thing that would help us and that is to not let the last unit as we would need access to tie in the extension. Oh that is no problem I'm sort of using that for myself at present. Well we headed to the cook house and John produced the proposed plans, it turns out it is all similar to the rest of the building with the exception of the last unit which will have a caretakers suite upstairs. A lot of discussion took place and I said I will have to send my costs to the office for them to go over, all being well I should have an answer in about 4 days. That's quick generally around here you wait three to four weeks if you are lucky. John said there is one comment I would like to make if that's OK -- Sure go ahead; safety on the construction site was excellent far better than others I've been on and I note all your crew were wearing Hi-Vis clothing and always looked smart. Thank you for that comment, for your information everyone has clean gear every morning this is something I insist on. So how do you manage that, well come with me and I will show you. John was surprised when he saw the old laundry schedule above the washing machines and I do my share as well. You may ask the reason, as far as I'm concerned there is nothing worse than having a guy who stinks first thing in the morning due to sweaty overalls. It also gives a more professional appearance to our crew and that is important. John said I'll leave you now and thanks for your input and if you have any ideas on how to improve the project please give me a phone call and I'm more than willing to discuss. John departed and I found Ryan pouring over the drawings provided; his first comment was this caretaker suite is going to be mighty small due to the width of the unit below. Rider looks at this and agrees, however lets price this out as presented and a second price with a bigger suite, but remember we will have to use fair size beams to support the suite. Ryan said he was thinking of going steel eye beams as they are much stronger than wood and take up less space. Hey Ryan do you what time it is, we should go and get showered ready for supper, after supper I need to put a report into Tom, with that Joyce comes back with a typed up minutes of the meeting with John. Thanks I will read this after supper its time we all got ready and I'm hitting the shower right now see you back here for 6:00pm. Head for the shower and strip off, Ryan is right behind me and does the same and says he had laundry duty today and was going to throw personal items in as well, you got anything Dad yes I do I get them after showering. Because time is short other than scrubbing each others back we said come later we will play. We all meet up for supper and glad to see Peter was joining us. During supper some shop talk went on and then Ryan said I have an idea. Sunday lets all go out into the countryside, take some sandwiches and flasks with us as there are beautiful spot which get the sun and great views across the landscape and by the way I'm including you Peter because I'm sure you really have not done much looking around as you were too busy when the camp was in full operation. Rider says hey good thinking Ryan I like that idea after all we are all family. That evening Ryan completes his laundry tasks while there Dad comes in and says he needs a shave please no problem and in fact I could do with a total clean up also. Well we both had a complete shave, and I know my nuts felt better for being cleaned up. While this was going on Peter came in for scrubbing his comment was you guys are lucky being able to help each other out like that. Rider & Ryan almost together said do you want a shave then Peter, oh yes please. Well get strip off and we will scrub your back and then shave you. Rider did the shaving of all he privates and was helped out be the fact that Pete has a real good hard erection. Once everything was completed we all three played in the showers. Several condoms later we had all been fucked and we also fuck each other -- a good evening was had by all. Next morning Saturday we were both first in the Cook House and Peter had a big smile on his face and said, you know for some reason I had the best sleep for a long time last night. We all had our usual for breakfast, and so afterwards we both sit down read Joyce's minutes of yesterday and Ryan start the estimating work. I head over to Joyce's office with my camera and ask here to send certain photo's of the site to Tom plus a copy of her minutes. I return to the cook house and join up with Ryan, he says I've made some sketches of the idea of going over two units; we need to ask what is planned for the unit below the caretaker or is it to part of that suite. Also what would the unit be used for if part of the suite. I'll phone John right now and ask those questions and also ask for his email address then we can scan your sketches over to him. John answer very quickly, he says he close bye and will come over right now if that is OK, please do we are in the cook house. I give Joyce a shout and ask her to bring her note book as John is coming back so please take notes as before. John arrives and we get the answers and he also see that the caretaker unit would be rather cramped and liked our ideas. We also found out the unit below would house maintenance items for the complex and another complex further down the road, plus space for a regular pickup, we said it would be a good idea to have a toilet and shower in that unit as you don't need to take dirt upstairs. John says you guys think of more things than my architect does I guess it's because you have seen so many mistakes and you look at it from the practical side. John went away with copies of Ryan's sketches, the three of us went over what was said and had Joyce refer to the respective sketches which by now were numbered. Joyce departed and said she would send the minutes over to my laptop. Half hour later the minutes were received and we both read through them carefully. I them emailed them to Tom with a covering note. Quickly a reply from Tom saying hey guys no work and no play is not good for you. My reply was all four of us are going bush tomorrow and taking some grub with us as well, I'll let you know how it goes when we get back. Have a great weekend. Well Saturday evening we all spent time together watching a movie off the satellite and eventually headed for bed around 10:00pm, Peter asked what time would we like breakfast lets say 8:30 am this will give everyone time to relax and we will head out around 10:00 am. Sunday was a nice clear day and warm and before we left I said don't forget your cameras and I will bring my field glasses says Ryan. We all had a great day; Joyce was over whelmed at the beauty of the countryside. She made the comment that I bet it looks lovely even when all covered in snow. We eventually returned back to camp, Peter asked what would we like for supper I have the steaks, chicken, sausages and also some Hawaiian pizzas. We all said pizza please and we will wash down with a beer; Joyce had some of her wine. After a fair amount of general talk Joyce said I'll see you guys in the morning I've got a good book to read. Good Night Joyce glad you enjoy today. Well the three of us continued to talk and I asked Peter how long had he worked for our company, his answer actually I work for the catering company that also sets up work camps. So Peter how do you feel about this camp re-opening, he said basically it was good crew they were respectful one of the sub contractors was not good, oh which one was that. The plumbing crew there rooms were like a pigsty, thanks for letting me know. Well we all went our own way and headed for our rooms. Once we got to our room Ryan called out hey Dad you know those plumbers were here for about 3 weeks and then back for another 2 weeks fitting out. Well some of the time I was working with the framing crew and those guys really did stink and frankly we don't need them back on site. I think it would be wise to ask our regular sub contractor if his crew would be willing to come up -- good thinking Ryan. Our trip up north took a little longer than expected as the drawings had to be modified; this resulted in some spare time so some afternoons we went out for a drive. On one occasion we went into town and got the truck gassed up and had a look around. Really very little there about 30 houses, a general store that seemed to have everything including a post office, a catalogue office for Sears, hotel plus the gas station. I think most residents were prospectors and hence out in the bush when there grub is getting low they come into town to re-stock. Back in camp there were several Email messages for me including one from Tom who was asking when do expect to get the revised drawings. My reply is I'm getting the drawings in the morning and plan to return later this week. Next I opened an Email from John the developer who advises me he has the revised drawing and to him they look good. My reply Hi John lets meet ASAP so we can go over everything, please phone me on my cell. The last and final one was from a member of our work force saying hope everything is going OK and that we can all be together again. This one I answered first by saying, I will be back in a few days and will show everyone the plans for the extension -- thanks for your email Rider. I decide to send another email to Tom, please find out how much work our regular plumbing contractor has as I don't want the one we had before on site! Almost bye return Tom say Keith's plumbing is short of work and he tells me he may have to lay off a couple of guys which he hates doing as they have all worked together for over ten years. I answered and asked John & Paul would be available to work on this project as they are both qualified plumbers and would fit in well with our crew I would put them on our payroll for this job. Return email said you must think a lot of those two and you know it would be cheaper for us to employ them but at the same time help out Keith I will put it to Keith but ask that he keeps under wraps till you return as you will do better job of explaining camp life. We meet with up John and go over everything and advise him he will get a proposal from us within 5 days. Today is Monday and we will return to town on Wednesday flight that gives us a day to wrap things up here. First thing I now do is advise Peter of our departure and tell him I expect to be back with crew within three to four weeks. Peter's comment I'm going to miss you guys no forgetting Joyce. Next I connect with Joyce and tell her of my plans for return. Her comment was I hope I can come back with the crew they are really great bunch of guys. Joyce we wouldn't come without out so no worries, Joyce gets up and hugs me and says thank you Boss you are so easy to work for -- thank you Joyce that is quiet a compliment. I head back to the cookhouse and locate Ryan and say to him we need to get all these papers either folded or rolled up and made secure, trouble is we need a tube to keep them in, Ryan said he had seen some white drain pipe just over the edge of the site and will go and have a look right now. Ryan was soon back not only the pipe but with two end caps. He got the pipe well washed out and by the next morning it was nice and dry. All the drawings went into the tube and he labeled accordingly. By about 2 pm everything was wrapped other than laundry and packing our own bags. The laptops can wait till tomorrow as emails were likely to come in. It was a bright sunny afternoon but cool however we grab a couple of chair and sat outside, Peter came and joined us and told us we were having steak to-night with all the trimming sounds real good Ryan got up and went to the cooler a grab three beers and found there enough for two each and leave three for Peter after we leave, there was also a small amount of wine left in Joyce's bottle. A pleasant two hours was spent outside, Joyce joined us and Peter got her glass filled. It was Joyce that really started the conversation by saying I know you Rider knew of my divorce and really was in the doldrums then this offer to come north frankly has been the best thing in my life to happen. However I do not intend to get caught again. Excuse me saying so I know our company is very good and most of the employee's are gay -- so what they have there reasons and you know Rider you are one lucky devil you have a great son and I respect you the way you brought him up. Mark my words he is going a long way. Well I will tell you Joyce this is something I don't generally talk about but my wife walked out on me when Ryan was only about 6 years old, then at times I had to be away on a major contract and my folks his grandparent helped out by looking after him. Then the biggest surprise I got one day when Ryan was 13 years old his school vacation was coming up and I asked him what he wanted to do. His answer surprised me as he said Dad you're in construction I want to work as a laborer and find out what work really means and at the same time build up my mussels, you will ask me why! It's because a number of my friends at school don't think I have the guts to do it but you have to learn what work is all about sooner or later and I think sooner is better. I tell you that was a great surprise, and over that summer vacation he mature a lot. Ryan hey Dad you going to spill all the beans? Ryan takes over, Dad had told me I needed steel toed boots and other safety equipment however prior to me starting work dad and I had been camping in an isolated area, were wearing camouflage gear and at that time I had fairly long hair, dad had said to me you have nice hair son but on construction site it is a pain in the butt keeping your hair clean and I'm going to recommend that you let me shorten it up to about half inch, I said fair enough. Well in the mean time there was a fair bit of construction going on in our home area and used to stop and watch the activities. The one thing I noticed was 95% of the guys when they took there hard hat off there heads totally shaved. Just before the end of our camping trip Dad says to me Private Ryan your hair is a disgrace of the uniform. That evening were returned home and dad got his hair clipper out and commence work, I said Dad shave it all off please -- do what said Dad that is right shave it all off, and I said I see most of the guys have totally shaved heads that way I hopefully will fit in. The next surprise was Dad who said if it was good enough for me to be shaved I had better do him and you know since then I have maintain my shaved head even when at school. Well the first day of work came Dad had kicked me out of bed and said breakfast in ten minutes. Well the first thing was to get signed up and that is when I meet Joyce for the first time and dad said to her I'm going on my rounds and her comment was OK Boss! That was the first time I knew my Dad was the Boss on site, Joyce said well Ryan you have already come a long was and earned the respect of our crew Ryan leans over and says to Dad do you mind if I tell Joyce we are both gay, Rider smiles go for it mate. Now I might surprise you Joyce but when I told my Dad I was GAY he looked at me and said, thank Ryan for being so open and then he said he was also. I think the fact we are both gay and as you correctly said Joyce a great number of the companies crew is the same way but they are good because you would never know on the job. I know the company's attitude is what folks do in there private time is of no business of the company. However I know should someone start hassling another worker because they think they are gay the company will not tolerate it and that person get two choices after a single warning either quit or be fired. Well it is 4:00pm Rider said hey guys time for cleanup and laundry, Peter asks what time would you like supper 6:00 pm would be fine OK -- Well Peter said that was some opening up most interesting. I'll tell you my situation after supper. We all went our own separate ways we got our laundry done also both of us had a good shave and decided to do a further clean up in the morning. We scrubbed each others backs and you know that always feels so good. We packed our gear except our razors and one clean set of overalls which will do for traveling, to-morrow morning we have to be at the airport for 9:00 am this means an early start as we need to leave here by 7:30 am because we need to return the truck. So please Peter breakfast at 6:30 am please -- no problem at all. We had a great meal with steaks and the fixing; I got out my bottle of scotch and pour a stiff one for all four of us. Peter opened up and he was in a similar condition to both Dad & I as his wife walk out but luckily no children involved. Well I'm going to check my email; oh Joyce let us know when you want to bring your gear over for loading -- thanks but I can manage don't worry and I assume we are traveling in overalls -- yes we are -- good that are much more comfortable than jeans tight around your waist. Ryan gets back to his room and asks dad has your jacket been washed lately, well no actually OK let me have it and I'll do both easily in these machines than ours at home, good idea. An hour later we both nice clean jackets all dried but will leave them hanging in the open just to air them out. Hey Ryan I still have a little Scotch are you interested, sounds good to me. While sipping on the scotch we heard the computer ping and check to see another email asking what time will you be in as I will pick you all up. I replied saying we are on the 9:00am flight and should be in around midday don't forget we are a party of three plus some extra luggage. His reply no problem I will be using the crew-cab and we will come straight back to the office unload and then go out for a working lunch and I'm very interested in hearing Joyce's comments. Thanks I will see you in the morning -- I replied we are going off line right now and heading for bed as we need to be up early see you in town to-morrow thank Rider. With that I put the laptop away and into its case ready for traveling, Ryan's was already packed. Well Ryan and I finish off the Scotch, Rider said that was an interesting afternoon and evening as everyone opened up and I think that was good -- you got that right Dad. Hey Ryan set your alarm for 5:30 am and then we have time to do any cleanup as I like us both to well shaved before meeting the Boss -- no problems at all Dad. Next morning we get the truck loaded Peter had been over to Joyce's room and got her heaviest bag and we them went for breakfast. Peter had done well, 2 eggs, bacon; hash browns toast and jam for each of us, it sure tasted good. Well we headed for the airport, unloaded our gear and I took the truck back to the drop off area and paid it off. It was not long before we cleared the booking in desk, our laptops, camera's and hard hats were carry on luggage. The flight was only partly filled so we were able to sit together, so what are you going to be doing Joyce while we were in town; she said I need the hairdresser to give me a good trim and shampoo. So what did you do last time up there, she laughed and said there was two ladies who used to work as hairdressers and they looked after all the ladies on site. Arriving at our home airport Tom was there to meet us loaded the truck and returned to the office and unloaded everything -- Tom said lets all go for lunch, I said hang on a few minutes I think several of us need the washroom -- Whoops sorry. We head for the Pub and in fact we walk there as it is only 100 yds away, on entry the barman see us and say's looks like a working lunch, yes says Tom well use the back room and you can talk more easily. Thanks what would you like to drink a jug of beer, what would you like Joyce you know I think beer would go down well. Many items were discussed and I ask have you talked to our plumbing contractor, no not yet I thought if it came from you it would be better but I have advised our electrical contractor of the forth coming job. Tom turns to Joyce and asks well are you willing to go back again. Joyce answer was I'm part of the crew and you're not going to stop me, I really love the countryside up there it is really beautiful and the crew when the original section was built everyone were always polite and helpful. We returned to the office and I said I going to phone the plumbing contractor and go over and visit them, I assume you Ryan are going to make a number of copies of the drawings we brought back. OK I will see you back here later unless I phone you with a change in plans. Meeting the plumbing contractor confirmed that he was going to have to lay off several guys, that's too bad Keith may be I can help you out could we take on John & Paul and put them on our payroll. How come well we have a job up north coming up and it's a work camp accommodation. Keith is very quiet while he is thinking and then says those two are really good workers and they are also partners. So what Keith our company is not interested in folks private lives, however if some one starts abusing someone who is Gay they will get reprimanded, if they continues they are fired. Keith face is now smiling, so next question are John & Paul on a project right now? Yes but by Friday that job will wound up. Does your crew know about the problems you are having, oh yes and in fact they suggested working only a four day week to help keep everyone working. All my crew has been with me at least 10 years hence my concern for there welfare. Do they come back to your yard at the end of the day no they go straight home. The reason I ask I would like to meet up with the two of them and put my proposal to them ASAP if that is ok with you. No problem we can go together and meet them on the job site first thing tomorrow morning. There are plenty of rooms where we can have a private discussion. I shake hands with Keith and said I will see you in the morning. I returned to the office and collected Ryan and head home, so Ryan what shall we have for supper tonight? I'm not all that hungry how about Pizza we have several in the freezer -- good idea Getting home everything is unloaded, next a shower during which time we serviced each other for quiet a period finally getting some shorts on. Pizza out and into the oven, kettle on, after supper and clean up lunches made for the next day, by now it is 8:30 pm and although early we hit the sack give each other a good hug and fall asleep, next thing we knew the alarm was going off at 6:15 am. Ryan went to the office and did some more calculations; I went with Keith our plumbing contractor to meet up with John & Paul. Keith started the conversation explaining what was going on and that would give them the full details including a lot of our crew have partners. John & Paul listened carefully and one question asked was what is really like living in camp. I explained the setup plus all food and accommodation is free, transportation will be by chartered aircraft. I also told them about our policy of Hi-Vis overalls etc and that we are very insistent that safety of our crew is most important. You are both qualified tradesmen and I know how you work as you have been on several contracts for our company. I would like to ask you both to consider this offer and that if you agree we will ask you to start with us next Monday. At that time we will pass to you the plumbing drawings and ask you to do an estimate and the time required. We will be having a full crew get together and show everyone the project at which time I will introduce you to the crew. Oh incidentally all our crew are in there own section of the camp, the sub trades each have there own sections. It's an all male environment except Joyce my office lady and the ladies that do the house keeping and also assist our Cook his name is Peter. Now Keith and I are going to leave you for a short while so please discuss this between yourself and by the way please keep everything discussed here under wraps. Sorry to push this so quickly but I need an answer one way or the other. We will be back in about 30 minutes, well we hardly been away for more than 10 minutes and we see both John and Paul coming to-wards us and as we get much closer John Puts his thumb up and big smiles on both faces. I said lets go in here and we shut the door they both said this was quiet a surprise to both of us to get this offer and we know the problems that Keith has and we hope it's OK with you Keith goes to both of them hugs them and says I know you will do OK and really does help me out. OK we will see you at the office on Monday and by the way just because you are going to working the office for a few days just wear your clean overalls and you both will be working alongside Ryan who is doing the building estimates. I'll meet you at 8:00am on Monday thanks guys. So Keith and I walk away, Keith says you have taken a big burden off my shoulders and I'm having a crew meeting on Friday and will then let everyone know about John & Paul. I return to the office and meet up with Ryan who says Tom wants to see you, so I go down the hallway Tom's door is wide open, he sees me come on in please shut the door. So how did you make out with the plumbers great they are staring on Monday to start estimating material required for the plumbing working with Ryan -- great. Tell me how did Keith take all this, he actually thank me as I had taken a burden off his shoulder as he need to reduce his crew by two guys, the problem was they have all worked there for at least ten years. I'll take them to payroll and get them signed up and also get their dog tags made up and explain the purpose of then and advise them to wear them all the time on the job and in camp to worm around the clock. I and then take them over to Ryan who can show them the drawings. Ryan has already some stuff completed and I'm going to look it over. Tom says that room where Ryan is not be big enough four to five people, look go and have look down in the basement here are the keys it's fairly large see what you think, go and look right now and see what is required. Well the room needs better lighting and some plan tables plus a couple of desks, phone and network connection and a general clean up it's pretty dusty. I advise Tom OK go ahead bring in what crew you need and get our electricians to do the lighting. Later that day calls me saying I never got to make my proposal that I intended to discuss with you. Firstly forget that Ryan is your son what do think of making Ryan Assistant Foreman. You are kidding no Rider I never kid on matters like this, well have to be honest he has done very well and I'm proud of his achievements, further more I'm arranging for your salary to be increased $150 per month. That makes me swallow twice, after a few minutes I said thank you much appreciated. I go to shake Toms hand but he grabs me and hugs me tightly. Lets go and have a look at this basement room, I can see what you mean it really is an office conversion job, did you include any wall lining not I didn't, well do this room and make it a real nice place, I assume we have air circulation yes I look the vents are closed off, then get the ventilation guys in and ensure that the air flow is right. Tom this is running the cost up, hope you realize that yes but we made good profit on that job up north especially since we completed well a head of time. We go to where Ryan is busy at work; I just said I'll be back in about five minute need the bathroom. Ryan is offered the Assistant Foreman's job he apparently look very surprised and excepted. Over the next few days the conversion went head downstairs, Tom took charge of that job it was all completed by Monday morning. I meet up with our new employee's got then signed up, Tom then took them into the office to discuss our safety protocol, this included Hi-Vis overalls, steel toed 14 hole boot, hard hat and safety glasses plus work gloves when needed. Both John and Paul were given a voucher for the required items, it was explained that boots you pay for by payroll deduction. Tom then took them to Ryan who was introduced as our Assistant Foremen and responsible for most of the estimating, the final checks are done by Rider who I know you all have all ready meet. By Friday the estimates were all completed ready for typing however we ran into a problem the lady who normally does this was away on vacation and the other was already loaded. There was an easy way around this I phoned Joyce and asked her if she was available to do the typing -- her answer was yes when would you like me to come in. I said would you mind work on Saturday & Sunday as we would like to get our bid out first thing Monday morning. No problem Rider you know me well enough. Thanks very much, oh by the way did you get those plumbers you mentioned about after Peters comments yes they are now part of our crew as of last Monday -- gee you are a quick worker. Come Monday the documents were ready for dispatch these were printed out and Tom went over them and was more than happy everything was sent electronically by Email with a note saying if John wished a hard copy would be mailed. About three hours later a reply was received indicating it's a go, please send me a hard copy and I will sign that and return. Tom was very happy and called everyone together including plumbers to let them know the news, so Rider please work out the work force you will need so we can get the camp reopened. Rider said oh please make sure that Peter the Cook is retained on this site no problem, I'll leave that with you. Everything was tabulated and the Camp owners were notified of the numbers to allow them to crew the camp accordingly. The first ones on site will no more than six including our lady secretary in a couple of week's time the rest will arrive the following week. On the following Friday we called a crew meeting and Rider explained what was going to take place and we hope all of you are willing to return this time for roughly six months. There one pair of general labours declined as they were going traveling for twelve months and planning on quitting at the end of the month. We told our crew that we had two new members John and Paul who will be our plumbers working for our company so please welcome them both. The camp is in place and Peter the cook has been living there as caretaker, both Ryan and I have been up there for roughly just over two weeks in conjunction with this job. Everything went well Tom dealt with ensuring everything all equipment was loaded into containers. So come the day of departure Joyce surprised our new crew members as she as normal was in he Hi-Vis overalls and jacket carrying her hard hat. We had advised both John and Paul redress code and suggestion of clothing to bring for casual wear in camp etc. They were a little surprised from their expressions on there faces, I just chuckled to myself. We arrived on at our destination, there was already a large six seated truck ready for us and after loading our gear we headed for the camp, the wind was blowing with lots of dust about, Ryan said to John & Paul it might be a good idea to use your safety glasses once we arrive the dust can get into any thing including your eyes. I pull up outside the Cook House and meet up with Peter our Cook and introduced our new additions to the crew, we all get hugs from Peter he said everything is ready for you what time would you like supper 6:00 pm please -- you have got it. Ryan has taken Joyce's gear over to her room lets find out how many ladies are here and if your dinning room is up and running. Joyce soon sees many of the ladies that were there before and yes the dining room is operating. OK I leave you for now if there is anything in the office that need moving just ask -- thanks Ryan. By now time is about 4:30 pm and I go and see John and Paul and advice then on the showers and what happens and you don't have to worry about being nude in the hallways as it's an all male location. Well Ryan and I are going to clean up so please join us. Well Ryan is scrubbing my back as usual as John & Paul arrive. Hey Ryan you got your clippers and razor with you as I need a good shave please. Ryan soon gets on with the job and ask do you want every thing doing? Of course please. They then swap over and Ryan is dealt with, they both wash the hair and shaving cream away. It was John that ask a question, he said I notice most of your crew are totally shaved is there a reason. I start laughing by saying it started abut four years ago we were all working on a really dirty job and very dusty as well plus the weather was Hot so we were all sweating well so some of us started getting our hair clipped down to a zero cut and then it went further by shaving it all off now today you will find all the crew is shaved. You don't notice it as the hard hat hide it. Most guys have the tools to do the job, is there any where to get clippers actually there may be some in the concession but they will not be open till next week. Ryan say do you guys want to go for it, well it would be nice to blend in better and it will be so much easier to keep clean. I'll be back in a moment and get my clippers, hey Ryan grab mine as well and we will do both of them together. It did not take long to get the excess hair out of the way and very soon all hair is gone. Ryan had brought his bottle of lube with him and put a little on both heads and we worked well in -- end result a nice shine in the scalp. Go and have a look in the mirror and see what you think, they both ran there hands over the there newly shaved heads, it was obvious they liked it as there manhood indicated the pleasure. They came back to us and we get a great big hug from both of them, before we knew what was happening they both had fallen to there knees and we were receiving great blow jobs, almost simultaneously we both said we are coming, they took it all swallowing everything all we could say was thank you that was great. John asked how is the rest of the crew in these private actions, oh don't worry there is lots of action as you will soon find out. Thank you giving us this chance to work for this company. There is one other thing that takes place here is overall laundry everyone helps on this job as we want every one to start with clean overalls ever day so we have a laundry schedule we all take turns in doing this so tonight I will start off, Ryan tomorrow John the next day and then Paul. As the others arrive they will add their names to the list. I'll get a fresh sheet of paper. Well guys it suppertime lets head to the cook house. It was a very warm evening so it was jock straps only. When John & Paul showed up Peter said congratulation you really have become a member of the crew welcome to my cook house. Over the next few days John & Paul located where the sewer lines were and also the water line location. The weekend we took off before the rush and Ryan showed us new places out the in the wild countryside. Come Monday I had arrange for two buses to collect our crew from the airport expected in at 1:00pm I went over to ensure all the arrangement had worked out OK. We got back to camp everything unloaded and I told the crew you all know where your rooms are so the time is your own. I trust everyone has there dog tag, no one said anything. Oh guys I have put up a laundry schedule so please put your names down. Cook will server supper is at 6:00pm if anyone wants tea or coffee it in the usual place so please help yourselves. About 4:30 pm I headed for the showers and most of the crew were there enjoying themselves, scrubbing backs, shaving heads and private areas plus many other things. I saw John and Paul there and they were mixing well with crew. They were both getting there privates re shaved which were very firm and appear hard also at the same time giving who ever was doing the job an good blow job. Everyone that evening was in Jock Straps just as well as some were well endowed and hard. The crews as usual work well on the job site as was normal, about the fourth week the framing crew was having a problem so Ryan simply put his work belt on and helped to sort out the problem. I think Ryan enjoyed that break away from the paperwork and it also gave him the opportunity so show he was willing to get right in there with the crew and on this occasion it was pretty dirty but that did not worry him either. Our plumbers work well and didn't waste time either. It was now time to get the electrical rough in done so three guys were sent up from town to do this work it turn out to be there first time any of them had work in a construction camp. There eyes were opened on life there but at the same time I had told them how the crew does things away from the job site. By the time the rough had been completed they indicated any time we need them for any project working in camp they were more than willing to come. They returned back to there regular base on there last night there they thank everyone for making there job easy and the help they got when they needed extra assistance. Construction proceeds at a good pace and I could see we would meet out deadline providing nothing unforeseen took place. The developer asked could he visit the site I said yes but he must have a hard Hat and a High Vis Vest at least and stout boots preferable steel toed. John made regular trips and was more than happy at what he saw. I Email Tom and suggested he made a visit and spent a couple of day here, I soon got a message I'll be there tomorrow which was Saturday. So I realized he wanted to see something of the countryside and since I had the truck that was going to be easy. I tipped our cook off about this and said I may be asking for a picnic lunch for the either three or four of us on the Sunday he said no problem. I collected Tom from the airport, I respected the fact he was kitted out the same as the rest of the crew which meant he could move around without at first being recognized; he said please stop at the liquor store, he purchased a bottle of Scotch, several cases of beer enough to give all one beer on Saturday evening and wine for Joyce. Tom was more than impressed at what had been done and said it looks as if we will be ahead of time, I said yes they are my thoughts also, between you and Ryan a real good job is being done. Let's go to your office where we can talk privately, once in the office his first question was how are John & Paul working out. Better than I ever thought and by the way the three electricians who came up said they really enjoy working here and thank the crew for assistance they gave them. Interesting said Tom, however poor Keith's plumbing I think may be going down the hole I just wish we could help then out some way. What we need is a really big job that has lots of plumbing work and brings Keith's Plumbing on site. Thanks for the update Tom and please ask our electrical contractor to send the same guys for the final fitting out. Well Tom I `m going to show you around this area and the countryside which I think will impress you plus I'm arranging a picnic cooler for lunch. Hope that includes Joyce I said yes plus Ryan. I shall enjoy that however I never brought any jeans etc, no problem you're dressed just right like you are. Well we went back to the small town and saw adverts for 60 homes to be built and noted the developer was John, checking the map we found we could go around the town to the north and eventually get back to base. During this part of the trip we noted a lot of industrial construction going on. The bill board said a natural gas plant was being built. Then about another three miles along we came across another gas plant under construction and the finally a third that appeared to be operating. Well this gave Tom lots of things to think about and he said he wanted to talk with the developer. Ryan took us to a great stop with lovely views and we could see wild life in the distance. Eventually we returned to camp, Tom then ask me to get John to come and visit us on Monday if possible. I got John on the phone and explained that my boss was up here and had some to discuss, would it be possible to meet say in the morning John's comment I'll be there for 9:00am, thanks John you see you tomorrow. Come about 8:45 am next morning John shows up and I introduce him to Tom. How can I help asks John, well I see you are a developer for 60 new homes on the out skirt of the local town. How far away is that project? John explains he has been having a problem getting bids for the project why were you interested Tom I don't know until I see what you have in mind can you show me around please. No problem at all; are you available now? yes was Tom answer and I will bring Rider with me. Tom said we will follow you there as three in your truck will be tight unless you wish to travel in our vehicle I'll come with you please says John. We first stop at John's office and he shows us the proposed layout and the house plans and gives us a copy, next we head out to the site. First question thrown at John was do you expect this site will grow in time? I believe it will but it all depends on the gas industry's demand for housing. Another question how many different designs are there in the proposed houses and what size are the lots anything from ¼ to ½ acre. I assume the house drawings are here in this package however are they all three bedroom plus double garage basically yes. OK John lets us have a look at this and I will contact you in a couple of days and let you know our thoughts. Tom is saying I'm wondering if the crew wants to up here another nine month because that is what I this project taking to build plus how quick will towns council be on giving approval etc. Rider suggests that we get our crew together after supper and tell them about the project and our rough time estimate for the job and see how many would like to continues work up here. That crew meeting went well and then general consensus; one of the crew stood up and said it's work and you guys all treat us as family which I think I speak for the crew, here here. Thanks guys however we don't know if we are going to take on the job as yet as we are only doing rough estimate for now. There are many factors to consider like moving the camp verses running buses between camp here and the job site it all depends on the costs. Thanks guys for your comments I will let you know more when I have the information. Tom returns to our office and finds an email from his Boss Chris saying finally that bid we put in for the shopping center and apartments above; they need an up dated costing as it is there intention to give us the job. Hey Rider & Ryan come and read this please, well I be dammed Rider is laughing you know that job has one hell of a lot in the plumbing and that should keep Keith afloat. It also answers our question should we take on the housing project -- I think the answer is no but we will tell John why we are declining at this time. John is coming over tomorrow morning anyway so we can advise him then. Next morning John is there and his first words were I understand you guys have been asked to build a large shopping centre plus apartments above go for it, plus I meet with some of the town council last night and they are opposed to any development. You ask how I know about this other job, well the developer is my uncle so it is all in the family and I may see you down there in the future. We handed the drawing back and shook hands and John said no hard feelings but thanks for looking. Tom said an interesting visit especially the crew meeting; I'm going to head out on tomorrow flight. That works out well as our electricians are coming in on the flight so I can deliver you and then bring them back to camp. On the way back I asked the guys did they want the same rooms or did they wish to be in our block but advising them it's a gay block. The answer was we don't care if a guy is gay or not most of our crew is gay, I'm technically straight but enjoy the gay scene my two mates here are both gay. That's great no wonder you fitted in so well on your last trip up here and with that every one is laughing. By now the project is almost complete except painting, for that we used a local man who we had here before. The crew was already packing up gear that was not going to be needed and make ready for shipping out. We use the "C" can all steel container for this; they are robust and secure. We completed the job 7 weeks ahead of schedule including all site clean up, the developer was very pleased and happy. We started sending crew home and Ryan and I made sure all items had been removed. I went into town and got another bottle of scotch a case of beer and some wine for Joyce for our last dinner in camp and to celebrate completion. On return from town I went over to the ladies section and gave the June lady in charge thank her and her crew for there kind effort in keeping the room spic and span. Please have a beer with your Dinner tonight on our company and thank you. Her comment was this was the first company to her knowledge every to recognize the work they did in camp and thanks again. I said Joyce was coming over to have dinner with us tonight so please excuse. Ryan had collected Joyce's office gear and one of her bags and stowed in the truck we also did the same. A great dinner was put on by Peter and we all had a few drinks and then headed for bed, we told Peter to stash the scotch and remaining wine in his room and thank him for all his great cooking as the crew sure enjoyed it. Next morning up early, breakfast and we departed on the 9:00am flight, Tom meet us at the airport, we went back to the office unloaded and all went out for lunch. After lunch Tom said I don't want to see any of you around the place till next Wednesday the time is your own. Ryan and I went camping and relaxed and so another project on the horizon said Ryan, I want all of Keith's crew used if possible and the same with the electricians. The End.
