WOW! I sincerely apologise for neglecting it like this. This is the FINAL chapter of Time Can Heal, however I'm planning to start a SPIN OFF story under the same title, but using different characters, including one or two from the original story. Hugz, Ryan TIME CAN HEAL Story so far: Keagan Henderson accidently travelled back in time whilst on vacation with his father, his cousin and his uncle. He ended up in the year 1992 and met the teenage version of his father, his uncle and ofcourse his grandparents. In time, Keagan and his teenage father, Brian, fell in love with eachother, a love so forbidden as possible, concidering that they were from TWO different timezones and they were father and son. Adult Michael appeared in 1992 and Keagan found out that he was the reason for everything happening, as he had invented a time machine called the Transfunctioner and planted it deep within the West Coast ocean. He immediately demanded that Keagan return to 2012 with him, and forced him to write Teenage Brian a letter stating that he was leaving him. Back in 2012, however, Adult Brian was still grieving over the loss of the love he suffered 20 years ago, and that even he married Keagan's mom, Janette, and had a son with her, that he never stopped loving Keagan. Keagan ignored his Uncle Michael's warnings and yet again travelled back to 1992, where he reunited with Teenage Brian. Adult Michael was furious and took his son, Seth (with whom Keagan had sex with the previous summer and with who Seth had also fallen in love with) to 1992 and they watched as Keagan and his teenage father made love. Seth was heartbroken and finally made contact with Keagan, begging him to return to 2012, because if he carried on with his relationship with Teenage Brian, the latter wouldn't marry Keagan's mom and Keagan won't exist in 2012! Keagan refused to turn his back on Teenage Brian, loving him with all his heart, but Seth gave him an ultimatum...either he told Teenage Brian that he came from the future and that he was his future dad...or Seth would. CHAPTER 8 - 1992 Three days had passed since Keagan had the talk with his cousin and had told him that he was in love with his teenage father. Things had to come to a point at some time or another, and the one thing that Keagan was scared of, was that Adult Michael would bring his Adult Father to 1992 and that he would finally find out the truth. How the hell would Teenage Brian, the boy he loved with all his heart feel when his Adult counterpart from 20 years in the future, tells him that Keagan was his future son? How the hell did I get myself in this MESS?? Keagan once more sat on the soft sand surrounding the West Coast beach of Saldanha, wondering how the hell he could get out of this without losing Teenage Brian, but there simply didn't seem a way out. He wondered if he shouldn't just up and jump in the ocean, swim as far as he could, activate the Transfunctioner and just fucking return to 2012 and carry on as normal...FUCK he couldn't do that to Teenage Brian! Because whatever he did here in 1992, would have a lasting effect on events happening in 2012 when he got back. The main reason why he had returned to 1992 in the first place, was because Adult Brian had never forgotten or gotten over losing Keagan, and it was proven after Adult Brian still had the letter that Michael made him write in 1992. Keagan wiped his eyes in frustration. Before all of this, he and his father had never gotten along particulary well. The accident in which his mother had passed away, he blamed on his father, since it was him who suggested that they went to the cinema that afternoon. Things were never the same again between father and son, until that fateful afternoon in which Keagan had first travelled back in time and met his teenage dad. Keagan looked up and saw a couple of teenagers running towards the beach in typical youthful playing and full of energy...he laughed slightly and wondered if those kids were still all friends or were still in contact with eachother back in 2012. He turned around when he heard THAT voice yet again...the voice of his teenage mother, Janette. "Hey...Keagan, is it?" Keagan stood up. Ever since he found out that Janette was cheating on Teenage Brian with that Brandon dude, he had lost all the respect he had for his mom. She was always his hero, she was the one who stayed at home to take care of him when his father was at work, he had bonded more with her than his dad and it showed after Janette's sudden death. Keagan blamed and lambashed his father for every single thing that went wrong in his life. "Janette, what do you want? I have zilch to say to you." "Keagan, please, you've got to help me. I don't know how to tell this to Brian, please help me, I mean you guys are good friends, I've seen you together. Please help me do this..." "Do what? Tell him you're cheating on him with Brandon? Gladly. He'll finally be rid of you then," Keagan said, feeling the slight bit guilty that he was speaking to her like this. She was too be the woman who gave birth to him afterall, in four years time. "Keagan, please...I think I'm pregnant..." Keagan's world stopped. God...this couldn't be... "You're...WHAT?" "For heaven's sake, didn't you hear the first time? Are you deaf? I said I'm PREGNANT!" Keagan was flabbergasted...because he knew that the baby that she was carrying COULD NOT be himself. He was born in 1996, not in 1992, so it couldn't be him! Suddenly a rather depressing thought shot over his brain like a cock hitting you on the chin... "Janette...is Brian the father...or is it Brandon?" The question seemed to shoot electricity through Teenage Janette, as she simply could not meet his eyes. Keagan didn't need a verbal answer to know the truth. "So...lemme get this straight...you want me to help you tell Brian that you're carrying Brendon's child? Are you out of your ever loving mind?" "KEAGAN PLEASE!! It was just meant to be a cheap fling, nothing more! Brian is always to busy with the factory and work and everything, it was just meant to be a holiday romance!" "Janette, where I come from, you fucking use condoms!" "You use WHAT?" "Forget it...if you wanna tell Brian, tell him yourself, I ain't helping you with SHIT!" Keagan hissed before he jogged off back to the Henderson home. HOLY SHIT...his mother had a child...another child...because this one couldn't have been himself...FUCK...if only he could go back to 2012 and ask his Adult father what the hell had happened to the child! As far as he could remember he was always an only child, there was never any talk of an older brother or sister...did she have an abortion? Did she give the kid away? Did Brandon take the kid from her? All these thoughts RACKED Keagan's brain until he got home and saw that Teenage Brian, the love of his life, was outside scrubbing off some dirt and fish oil, his wet teenage sixpack blazing in the sunshine, showing off each and every one of those blocks on his stomach that Keagan had so loved. "Hey bud! I was wondering where you gone to!" Brian yelled happily when he saw Keagan. Like everytime he layed his eyes on this boy, his best friend, he felt a gushing spread of love gatecrashing through his body. He still couldn't put his finger on it. It was like he felt a natural protectiveness over Keagan. He couldn't describe it...it was just...there... "Hey babe, I was down the beach. Its really awesome watching the sun set here, isn't it?" Keagan said without thinking. His mind was still with Janette and her unborn baby. "What do you mean here? Haha, the sun sets everywhere!" Brian laughed, spilling water over his hands and rubbing them up and down his arms. "Oops...I mean...it sounded better in my head before it came out of my mouth! What do you wanna do tonight, dude?" "I was thinking we could go to the drive in." "Go to the WHAT...shitballs..." "Keagan, are you feeling okay?" Keagan didn't answer his teenage father. Everything became cloudy infront of his eyes and he fell down onto the porch. Brian lept forward to catch Keagan before he could hit his head and cause some serious damage. "I'm calling the doctor right now, you're as white as a sheet! "NO! Don't...please its nothing, I didn't eat much today, it's probably because of that, please Brian, just help me to my room." Safely and securely in the arms of his father, Keagan felt his body being dragged up the stairs...what was funny is that he couldn't feel his feet. He saw himself being moved, but his body didn't feel any pain, any movement, he couldn't smell the air, the flowers in the house, the food cooking in the kitchen below them...nothing. When Brian had finally laid him on the bed, Keagan discovered that he was laying down, but that he couldn't feel the bed, the sheets, the duvet, NOTHING. What the fucking hell was going on... "I'm getting you a wet cloth, seems like you're burning up," he heard Brian say and suddenly he was left all alone. Keagan tried to use his hands to make fists, but he was stuck inside his body and couldn't move by himself. He wanted to yell, SCREAM for help as loud as he could, to tell SOMEBODY that he was trapped inside his own body for some fucked up and freaky reason, but there was nothing happening. He fainly heard Brian coming into the room and he could see how worried he was. Brian pressed the damp cloth against Keagan's head, the poor boy seemed so out of it. It took a good couple of minutes for Keagan to regain the feelings in his body and to be totally sure what was going on around him. He wanted to sit up but Brian pushed him back. "No, lay down. I'll bring you some water and later when you're hungry, I'll bring you something to eat. I'll go tell my parents you're not feeling well, okay? Get some sleep. I love you, buddy," Brian said and immediately Keagan got a flashback from a few years back...it was on the day that they went to visit Uncle Michael and Seth...both Keagan and Seth were 12 years old, four years ago to be exact...and Keagan had contracted a bad case of flu the day before and was feeling like shit...he remembered his father, Adult Brian's words as if they were spoken yesterday... "No, lay down. I'll bring you some water and later when you're hungry, I'll bring you something to eat. I'll go tell Uncle Michael and Seth you're not feeling well, okay? Get some sleep. I love you, buddy." It was quite literally the same words he spoke to Keagan only a couple of minutes ago. Brian kissed him on his forehead and left the room, leaving Keagan with his thoughts. WHAT THE FUCK happened just now? When he couldn't move? When he felt so detached of his own body? The answer was suddenly clear infront of him and it hit him like a suckerpunch in the stomach...he was being erased from existance...he was sure if it...because if Teenage Brian and himself continued this path they were heading on...Teenage Brian would have no reason to sleep with Janette, Keagan's mom. That means that the way they were building their future in 1992, Keagan was not to be part of that, because if Brian and Janette didn't sleep together...there would be no Keagan in the first place. Adult Michael and Seth had warned him about this, but he refused to listen. He was so in love with his father's teenage counterpart that he couldn't think straight. He was busy endangering his own life! What about the baby Janette was carrying? He was quite sure that abortion was still illegal in South Africa in 1992 so what the fuck had happened to the child? Keagan lifted his head carefully, still woozy, and lifted his hand to the cloth which remained on his forehead. Even though Teenage Brian didn't know that Keagan was his son, he still felt an overwhelming sence of love towards him, that came naturally, even though he had no knowledge that Keagan was his son. The love he had for his father, Adult Brian, the one that he had known all his life started to excalate, he finally realised that through all the tantrums he gave, all the rotten things he said to his dad after his mom died, after all the fights they had...his father genuinely loved him with all his heart. Keagan finally knew what he had to do. He was going to HAVE to tell Teenage Brian the truth. There was no other way around it. *** Later that night after the Henderson family had eaten, Brian entered Keagan's room with a bowl of warm soup in his hands. He placed it down on the sidetable and walked over to Keagan, feeling his temperature. "How you feeling, pal?" he asked, with tenderness in his eyes. "Brian, sit down, okay? We need to talk." "Come on, Keagan, don't tell me you're going to leave me here again like the last time..." "Brian, would you just SIT YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN?" Keagan's breath was irregular, his eyes were full of tears and emotion, and when a quite stunned Brian indeed sat on the bed next to him, he reached out and took his teenage father's hand in his own, and gripped it very tightly. He needed strength, as he was about to do the most difficult, most brutal thing he had ever had to do in his sixteen years of living on this Earth. "Brian...there are two things I'm pleading you to do, okay? Promise me!" "What kinda things?" "Brian, just PROMISE me that you will BELIEVE everything that I'm about to tell you! Even if it sounds so weird that you think I'm pcycho or something, even if you think I'm sick, even though you think I'm concussed or shit like that...please PROMISE me that you'll BELIEVE everything I tell you!" Brian frowned as he looked at Keagan's hand in his own. "I don't understand what you're talking about, Keagan..." "Then just listen, okay? Just listen, but know this...I LOVE YOU, Brian! I love you more than anything, and that's why I'm asking you to TRUST me. Nothing I'm about to tell you is a LIE! It may sound that way, but its NOT! PROMISE ME!" Brian grabbed Keagan's hand and kissed its knuckles, gripping it with both of his own hands. "I know you will never lie to me. I love you too, you know that. Okay, what do you wanna tell me? I promise I'll believe you." Keagan took a deep breath...this was now or never. "Brian...I was born in the year 1996." Immediately he saw a flash of insanity lingering over Brian's face, but he carried on. He spoke slowly and clearly. "My real name is Keagan Brian Henderson. I've come here from the year 2012. Your brother, Michael, will invent a time machine in two years time called the Transfunctioner. I was on holiday with my father, uncle and cousin when I drifted too deeply into the ocean where it was buried and I activated it by mistake, and sent me from 2012 to 1992. It happened on the afternoon that I first met you, remember?" Brian's face was locked. There wasn't a sprinkle of emotion on his face. "Brian, the moment I saw you that afternoon I fell in love with you. You were the most beautiful, most sexiest dude I ever met. You allowed me to stay here and I accepted, because here in 1992 I had no where to fucking go. The rest you know, because you were here with me, until the day that I wrote you the note. Adult Michael, the 2012 counterpart of your brother, had realised that I had activated the Transfunctioner in 2012 and came here to get me. He told me that if we keep seeing eachother like this, you wouldn't sleep with Janette and therefore I wouldn't have ever existed!" "Wait...as crazy as this sounds, I'm trying my best to follow you what you're saying...why would me not sleeping with Janette make you to not exist?" Brian asked, intence confusion written all over his face. Keagan took a deep breath and looked straight into Brian's eyes... "Because in four years time...you will become my father." *** "Im really sorry for all of this. I never meant for things to go this far. I promise you I didn't..." Keagan continued to sob infront of Teenage Brian. He gripped his teenage father's hand as his body was rocked with emotional sobs. He froze when he felt Brian's hand on his back, slowly caressing his tired muscles. "Oh my God...that's why...that's why I felt this need to protect you right from the start. That's why I felt this LOVE for you, which I could never explain. This is why I was drawn to you like I was never drawn to any boy before. Holy cricket...you're my SON!" "Im sorry, Brian! Im so sorry and I KNOW I should have stopped it before we went too far. I knew who you were and I should have STOPPED it. You were just so hot, fucking georgous...before I knew things happened with us and...and I really dunno what to do now. The Adult you is back in 2012 and he thinks I'm missing. But I can't leave you...I CAN'T!" Brian pulled Keagan close and rested his head on his son's shoulder. "I think I know why I must have named you 'Keagan'," he said, slightly smiling. "Why's that?" "The first dog I ever had was called Keagan. He died about three weeks before I met you." "Really? You never told me that." "It must be, hey. Look at me." Keagan finally sat up, wiped his eyes and looked straight at his sexy sixteen year old father. Teenage Brian caressed his son's face and smiled sadly. "It wasn't just your fault, buddy. It was mine too." "How the fuck can you say that? I was the one who knew..." "You weren't the only one to fall in love. I fell for you too, big time. You can't control who you love, much less what feelings you will develop for who. Yes, you knew that I was your father, but deep down inside me I also knew that it wasn't only a romantic love I had for you. It was strange, I couldn't figure it out. The moment I saw you, that afternoon, I loved you. Do you hear me, Keagan? I knew you for a mere 10 seconds and I loved you. I needed to protect you, needed to be with you. Now I know why...paternal instinct or whatever its called." Brian caressed his son's shoulders, Keagan closed his eyes and felt the love his teenage father was giving him. When he opened his eyes, he saw Brian coming closer... "Is this what you want? There's no turning back now, Brian. You KNOW the truth..." "I know the truth, yes. I'm your future father. Doesn't change the fact that I love you, so much, Keagan..." Brian whispered, a tear escaping his eye. Keagan leaned in and passionately kissed Brian while the love continued to flow over the both of them. Brian pulled his son towards him and deepened the kiss. Tongues mixing, licking, caressing, hands and fingers grabbing certain body parts, desperate to have SOME physical contact with one another. Keagan in particulary was like a man possessed. He fiercely pushed Brian against the bed, and took his time to caress his fingers and palm over Brian's six pack muscles and abs underneath his father's shirt. As he made his way downwards, Keagan softly kissed his father's chest, looking up into his eyes. "I love you...Dad." "I love you more...Son!" Immediately Keagan started to lose control over his body. It was MUCH more severe that what had happened earlier that afternoon. He felt like his soul, his consciousness was ripped from his body and floated across the room. He saw that Brian was doing everything he could to find out what was wrong with him, because his body simply laid on the bed, his eyes wide open, he was not responding at all. Keagan felt like he was being torn from the room to a place which seemed dark, cold, wasted...like it was reserved for things that was suppose to ROT, or things that never should have been created in the first place... He knew exactly what was busy happening...he had finally told his teenage father the TRUTH and they were still in love with eachother. For the universe and the space-time continium there was no reason left to keep Keagan on this Earth, he was being erased. For the universe, Teenage Brian would now never sleep with Teenage Janette... Keagan wanted to scream to his father to stop caressing him, to get away from him, to stop showing him love whilst his body was in that statue like state, because ironcially, his father's love was the reason he was being erased from existance, from his destiny. His father needed to go to Janette and fuck her...Keagan closed his eyes as his soul wavered over his body...if this is the way that things were supposed to go...then he should just DIE... *** His body felt so tired, so totally out of it. He had great difficulty opening his eyes and when he did, the first thing he saw was Teenage Brian. He wanted to speak, but his throat was a little groggy. "Don't try and speak, Keagan. Just nod if you can hear me," Brian said, which Keagan followed up with a nod. It took several minutes before Keagan had enough strength to fully open his eyes and speak. "What happened? How did you get me back into my body?" "I realised what was happening from what you told me. I realised that with me knowing the truth, and still wanting you, it would mean once and for all that you wouldn't exist, because once I had made love to you, I would never have gone back to anyone else, let alone Janette. Having realised this, I started to talk to you like a father would to his son. I pushed all thoughts of romantic love out of my heart as best I could, God Keagan, I was so scared that I was losing you, I would have done anything...I spoke to you like a Dad, I called you Son, I said things like "remember when I taught you to ride a bike" and "remember when you lost your first tooth?" Stuff like that. I didn't even know if that happened in the future or not, I just said the first few things that came to mind. In time, you started to calm down, your body was healing. The last thing you told me was that you loved me, you called me Dad, and that's when I knew I did it. I saved you. I brought you back." Keagan leaned over and hugged his father, but the slightest touch to Teenage Brian left him dizzy and tired. Brian felt it too, he could sense Keagan's heart wasn't fully in this. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Keagan?" he asked, sadly. "Dude...the moment we have sex I'll be erased from history, for good this time. We cannot go on like this. I have to go back to the 2012." "You said that whatever happened here, will have effects on the future, right?" "Right. The last time I went back after leaving you that letter, the Adult Brian still had that same letter. He even told me about it." "Good. I think after last night, we know that this won't work. I'm your father...God that sounds so insane...and you're my son. That's the way the universe made things to be. BUT...if you go back to 2012, I should remember all of this, shouldn't I?" "Oh my gosh...why didn't I think of that? Dude, ofcourse you will remember all of this! For me its gonna be a quick trip to jump to 20 years from now...God Brian...are you willing to wait another 20 years before you see me again?" Brian smiled, but this time there wasn't any sadness. "Keagan, I'll wait for you until the end of time." *** "Remember, the Keagan stil needs to be born, BEFORE I get back to 2012 will NOT know any of this! We have to have a code, something that you will immediately know its ME, the one who knows all of this, when I get back, so you'll know that its safe to talk to me about all this!" Keagan said as they jogged down to the beach. "Okay...uhm...lets make something like...REMEMBER 1992! The Keagan who still needs to be born certainly won't say that to me, since he's born in 1996!" "Great idea, Dad! Okay, now please, don't tell anyone about this, especially not Michael. He needs to still invent the Transfunctioner right now." "You never told me why he invented something like this though? I mean I know he's hugely into Science..." Keagan once again had to take a deep breath. "Its not gonna help in keeping this from you, you'll find out soon enough...two years from now, my grandparents, your mom and dad, will board a plane which will crash and there will be no survivors. That's why Michael invented the Transfunctioner, but he never suceeded in bringing them back." Brian's eyes widended at first, but after a few minutes he gained a determined look on his face and placed his hand on Keagan's shoulder. "I'll make sure that doesn't happen. Even if I have to stop that plane myself. Okay, lets go over the plan. Once you get back in 2012, you immediately come to me and say "REMEMBER 1992" then I'll know that you're MY Keagan, okay?" "You got it. Good luck, Dad. See ya in about 20 minutes," Keagan whispered. "See ya in about 20 years..." Brian whispered back, knowing they were unable to kiss. Keagan finally tore his gaze from his teenage father and ran into the ocean at blistering speed. He fought against the waves and the current to throw himself as deep into the water as possible, where he knew the Transfunctioner was just waiting to be activated. He swam as fast as he could, determined to get back to 2012 soon as possible, He hoped with all his heart that their plan would work...that Adult Brian, his father, would recognise him, for who he really was, in 2012. When he felt the bright sunshine around him dissipear, making way for the dark thunderous clouds, he knew that he had suceeded. He was so far into the ocean, he could just barely make out Brian on the shore, and Keagan could swear that he was waving at him. The first blast of thunder tore across the ocean, and Keagan relaxed, knowing it couldn't harm him. The shore was rapidly changing as it made the transition from 1992 to 2012 right before his eyes. The second expected blast barrocated over the ocean floor, making everything shudder with light and electricity, before everything was deathly quiet. Keagan opened his eyes. The resort, not there a few minutes ago, was once more standing proud and elegantly, just waiting to welcome him in its arms. He was back. *** He was so scared that his father would forget the arrangement they made, which for Brian, was 20 years ago. He prayed that Brian would remember...as he ran into the resort and straight to their hotelroom, he saw Seth sitting alone on the stairs. "Keagan! You're back!" he shouted and ran towards his cousin. "Where the hell have you been all this time? Your father said you're visiting family?? Which family is he talking about?" Keagan was about to answer when he saw a really beautiful girl make her way over to Seth. "Oh hey, Keagan! Nice to see you! Seth, I'm just going to phone my parents and tell them I've arrived safely. See you just now," she said before kissing his cheek. Keagan was left open mouthed...Seth never had a girlfriend in his life! "Bloody sexy, isn't she?" Seth smiled, slapped Keagan on his shoulder and ran after the girl. Somehow Keagan knew that all of this had to do with what happened back in 1992... He opened the door of their hotelroom and...holy shit...there was his father, Adult Brian, sitting comfortably with a beer in this hand and watching the football game on TV. He took a sip, before he noticed Keagan. "Oh hey, you're back. I wanted to ask you to clean that damn barbeque before tonight because if Uncle Michael throws a fit over it one more time..." "Dad..." "...and I've asked Seth to gather some fire wood at the local shop, you're gonna have to help him carry, since all that he's got eyes for these days is Natasha, I think you'll like her, she's really pretty..." "Dad..." "...and it looks like they are happy...Yes? You wanna tell me something, bud?" Keagan smiled and walked straight up to his father, looking into Adult Brian's eyes, before he spoke. "REMEMBER 1992?" Brian Henderson's face went from energetic to without emotion. He stared at his son for a while, before a single tear rolled down his cheek. "KEAGAN?" he whispered. "MY KEAGAN?" "You bet your sweet ass, I'm your Keagan," the latter whispered back. Brian threw himself at his son with a longing moan, hugging him fiercely, and it wasn't long before both father and son were in tears. Brian stoked his son's strong back and Keagan pressed his face into his father's chest as hard as possible. Both were overwhelmed at the passion that was generated from a simple hug, and Keagan felt that there was no unknown force stopping him from being close to his dad. He had been born, his father had sex with his mother, he knew that everything had worked out. "What's going on here? Keagan? Are you hurt?" Keagan's eyes froze as he heard...it couldn't be...he looked up from his father's chest...straight into the eyes of Adult Janette. Don't worry about him, Honey. He'll be fine," Brian said, winking at Keagan. "Oh well, better get started on the food, time is not gonna turn back, boys!" she said, before taking a bunch of washing outside. "Dad, how the hell did you know about Mom? I never got the chance to tell you!" "Michael did. He somehow remembered that he and you had a disagreement over you going to 2012. He told me the date your mom had died and I prevented it. And guess what...your grandparents will be here tomorrow!" "JEEZ...you did it, Dad! You stopped them from getting on that doomed plane!" "Yeah well, I told Michael what was going on straight after you left, because you told me he invented the transfunctioner AFTER our parents died. With him being such a whizz in Science and due to the fact that he's always been suspicious of you, he finally believed me when I drove our boat into the ocean showed him what the Transfunctioner could do. We worked together to stop everything that happened." "So I assume since im still alive, that you eventually slept with Mom?" Keagan whispered softly. Brian nodded sadly. "Over the years I have felt SO guilty, Keagan. I knew I HAD to sleep with her to ensure you being born for the day you returned here. I've never loved Janette, but at least she's given you back to me. It was easy though, did you know that Brendon had gotten her pregnant in 1992?" "I did. She even wanted me to tell you, but I refused." "Brendon's family was outraged when they found out. They offered to send Mom overseas so she could get an abortion and that's when I intervened, and we became a couple ever since." "What happened to the child? Did she give him away?" Keagan asked, his eyes wild. Brian took a deep breath before he answered. "Keagan...the child that your mom had with Brendon...was Seth." "WHAT?" Keagan shouted, way too loud. He just couldn't believe it! SETH? "Yes. Seth was never Michael's child. Janette lied about his age when she had Seth registered. I never told you in this timeline or the previous one before you came to 1992. Seth was Brendon and Janette's biological child. She lied because Brendon's family wanted to gain sole custody of the baby because they were rich and we were just a fishing family. We sent Janette to an all girls school in Cape Town, the same time Michael went to University there, and eventually when Michael offered to be Seth's father so that Brendon wouldn't become suspicious, everything checked out. Brandon never knew Seth was his son. He knew how I felt about sex before marriage and wouldn't have believe if I said it was my baby." Keagan chose to ignore the fact that he and Seth had once had sex in the previous timeline, and now knowing that Seth was his half brother all this time made him very glad what Seth now had a girlfriend. "So what happens now, Dad? Do we go back where we left off in 1992, or do we stay as father and son?" Keagan whispered, his hand on his father's shoulder. Brian pulled his only son close and hugged him. "Time will tell, Son. Time can heal." *** THANKS FOR READING!! Wow that was intense to write!
